We weren't accommodated there, nor had we tried the spa. We have seen this place as an architectural gem by architect Hundertwasser. The whole environment is beautifully connected with nature, all buildings are something interesting, colorful, playful. Pleasant place to walk. In the main building a nice place for coffee or tea. Trees and shrubs are planted on grassy areas on the roof of buildings. I recommend to look and certainly go to the spa as well!

First the positive: the spa is very nice and also offers enough moorings. The dinner is mediocre, the food very carelessly prepared. The reception staff is very rude especially in the spa area. A few nice words, please or thank you should be self-evident. If the guest responds to the question whether everything fits with "it works" should be asked for the cause. A retraining is urgently necessary. Price-performance does not fit. This was the first and last holiday here.
Great but crowded on the holidays Staff very nice and accommodating, room clean and spacious. Restaurant super class - especially the desserts from their own confectionery. Long distances in the area - we lived in the brick house. The breakfast in the restaurant at the top there was no more seats - later come back. Sauna area generously with many saunas but also all beach chairs occupied. Priced rather in the upper segment settled.
We were just at the spa and we did not use the hotel. The spa is wonderful, very hot water, swimming pools for all shapes and sizes. The sauna area lets you choose from the steam bath until the 45 degree sauna. Aufguss frequent, with salt to roses, honey ... All in an amazing architectural context.
Were here for the first time and absolutely thrilled. It is much quieter than in other spas and not so crowded. The spa is definitely worth the money. The only criticism: the delicacy card in the restaurant was almost overwhelming us, a few simple classics would be great!
Therme as always top. But hotel area very very poor. From the staff to the room to the food. Do not get me wrong I'm thrilled with the Therme Blumau but if I want to stay again I go back to Loipersdorf and also for bissl less coal.
SAUNA: only 1 to 2 (!!!!) people per hour can use the sauna with the full ticket price!
We booked hotel + thermal baths including sauna. But unfortunately we could never go to the saunas in 2 whole days. We were told that we had to register in advance for the sauna - corona conditions. But we didn't know that sometimes only one person is allowed into the sauna per hour. The saunas were only open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Although the thermal baths - despite Corona - were quite well attended.
The staff (sauna attendant, wellness reception) couldn't help us either.
On departure we again expressed our displeasure, we were assured to pass this on. Since I haven't heard anything from the thermal baths so far, I decided to write this review.
Otherwise the thermal bath was very nice and harmonious, the staff was very friendly and tried hard!
Nobody knew anything about the "breakfast in the room".
Best spa in the world! Organic food served and delicious buffet dinner included. Most stunning & magnificent architecture you could ever experience! In the winter it is like a magical place outside in the hot volcania pool.
The most unusual thermal baths with unique characteristics and a sensational thermal bath landscape, excellent cuisine and very nice and attentive staff
Still beautiful, has always been my favorite, but still makes the age noticeable here and there. Food in the restaurant was not very tasty. Everything kind of bland and overpriced. Still, certain areas are still great.
The spa is very nice. Especially the thermal lake is wonderful. However, the food in the thermal restaurant is anything but satisfactory. There is virtually no choice for vegetarian food without gluten. All right, then stop the potato wedges with salad. But they were just fat, not crispy and the salad is not exactly a treat. The coffee at the end was then also quite thin. If I spend a whole day in the spa, a good meal is also part of the wellbeing. This is apparently not important in this spa.
I am a guest for a few days every year. I love the warm water and the ambience of the spa and the hotel. Food always very, very good. Staff absolutely top-friendly. Everything was clean and well maintained. Have tried many spas, but the Therme Blumau is and remains my favorite spa.
Hard to describe in words! For three days I was able to be surprised and pampered by this really excellent spa. Have seen a lot but the service here is really exceptional. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I could hardly go where better than here! The prices scare the one or the other maybe but it is really worth every penny and still you ask yourself at the end of the stay why it was so priced. Giant Compliments to all staff and of course to the architects and unfortunately already gone by us artist Hr. Hundertwasser. Always my pleasure!
Great spa. Expensive but good. Little for children. Very nice very warm outdoor pool. Sports pool with tracks and timekeeping. Very good food (day guest), which was not overpriced for this spa.
Wow! Best hotel I have ever stayed in. With my family, I have been on vacation 11 or 12 times over the last 16 years and we always like to come back. Clean top, beautiful decor, very friendly staff and delicious food. Also on extra wishes (for example vegan food) consideration is taken.
I do not like spas where ruckus and little kids are writing around this is not the case here as there are no slides or for little kids activities so i love this place it is perfect for relaxing i can only recommend this place the price is too high but I allow myself a little rest
The spa is really worth a visit. Very nice different areas. The sauna is very nice but expandable. The outdoor areas are spacious and you will also find a quiet spot. Very few children were present during our visit. I was extremely disturbed that in areas where only 16 years old is allowed children romp in the water alone without supervision. Although there are many cameras available but more supervision of employees would be desirable
Beautiful, quiet thermal landscape but here and there something in the years come. - is of course whining at a high level but at the price range is allowed
Despite Corona, very relaxing and all conditions are met very well by the visitors! Had no concerns about infection :) Actually, as always, top except for the annoying masks!
Any time. The entrance fee includes a bathrobe and 2 towels on loan. The bathroom has a lot of charm indoors. There are plenty of rest in the spa area and the food is great. The outdoor pools are quite large and the area very nicely designed. The only drawback I feel that there are no bubble beds in the water. I can not rate the sauna area as not used. We really recovered there very well.
First of all, the positive things about the thermal bath: it is very clean, the food is good and the staff very friendly. You can pay anywhere with your room key.
We didn't like the fact that the thermal baths are very restless. We got lost all the time, which the thermal baths can't really do. The paths in the thermal bath are very long. In the spa area and at breakfast a lot of beds and tables were reserved - always the best seats, of course. You quickly feel like a guest 2nd class and you're always looking for a cozy place that doesn't exist - unless you've made a reservation ...
The rooms are very badly soundproofed, if someone walks past the room in the hallway and talks, you have the feeling of standing with the bed in the hallway.
I like to come here regularly. Take about 5 days of vacation every year in winter. So far everything has always been okay.
The only thing I didn't like so far were the paid infusions and no concession when the sauna burns down. Of course nobody can do anything about it, but the guests pay the full price and you could think of something to compensate them.
There were five of us in three double rooms - as booked I have known the ambience for 20 years ... Therefore I unfortunately see the declining quality - it is managed as a 4 * hotel! Not all of the points listed are equivalent but have attracted attention: - The windows in the dining areas were not cleaned or very sloppy - and distorted the view and were milky. - In the corridors of the houses, the floor was dirty - easily visible on the former yellow tiles - I had asked a Kelkner for two empty wine glasses because there were none in the room, answer: "there are glasses in the room" after I told him several times that I had none in the room - I didn't get one. - Previously there were kettles, tea & coffee in the room - have disappeared without replacement. - The shower caps, which were always provided in the bathroom, are also no longer available, as is the small beauty package (ear sticks, etc.) - Pool entrances - yellowed yellow tiles do not look very hygienic - Facade dirty - has loosened in places. - The walls in the rooms are shaved off + SPA massages were great 5 pieces in 3 days - staff very friendly and punctual + Food was balanced and there was always something for vegetarians (+ own vegan menu) + Breakfast buffet and late riser breakfast are great - offer is great + Room furnishings new + Calm despite more children than before
We were 3 nights and could therefore get a good overview.
Everything fits. We have to go there three times a year. Dreamlike ambience and wonderful food. This time in the junior suite overlooking the spa area - was even better than our usual rooms. It is also impressive that we see many employees again and know each other for 20 years. I think that is also a more than positive sign in this day and age.
Unfortunately no longer the spa that it once was. No more beds in the room of silence. The restaurant has no choice. Once my favorite thermes, unfortunately there is not much left.
Very nice facility. Already the way to the spa very inviting; very spacious - at first difficult for the orientation - for the sauna we had to ask several times. Despite fully booked extremely quiet and pleasant. Friendly staff. Very clean.
It was fantastic, as in a fairy tale! An experience of a special kind: forgot my cell phone on the last day of my stay in a bathrobe and thrown this before going home in the dirty laundry container! I missed my phone the next day in the morning! Called in the spa, where I was told that the laundry might already be in the laundry! A short time later came the news, they would have to search 6 container with laundry! An hour later, the phone was at the reception! Thanks a thousand times! Where else is that ??? I was indescribably happy!
Online booking for 2 people for a massage. On site we were lucky that we were allowed into the thermal bath as a day guest. You would also have to reserve the entrance, it said. None of this was on the homepage. And who books a massage without admission? The next surprise when you register for the massage. The booking was made for one person only. Although you get a confirmation for 2 people. Statement from the staff: Yes, it doesn't always work. We know this. The people then ask again by email " Why, I ask myself, do I have to ask if I have received confirmation for 2 people? And why don't they change the booking platform when they know it? The staff in the catering area are happy to leave the empty plates for 5-10 minutes. Although the restaurant was not full, and he waited several times past the table. I expect more from the prices. There are no water dispensers in the spa area. These are now common in many other spas.
Wonderful! We recently celebrated a wedding there with a wedding ceremony and all the trimmings. Beautiful surroundings, absolutely great, fast, friendly and tireless staff! The food afterwards was very good, the salad bar was terrific! The servers were always on hand and had a great joke up their sleeves. And that for 70+ hungry and thirsty guests from all age groups. Many of the guests said that the staff was really pleasant and accommodating. Was the perfect choice to party there!
