The spa and the hotel are certainly one of the most beautiful. Room was very nice and clean the thermal pool was nice and big and warm. The Vulkania Badewelt is truly unique. The only thing I have to complain about, the menu in the restaurant rainy day is a bit poor and therefore there are not very many dishes that apply to you. And the eggs at breakfast on the top of a dish is like a cheese (literally). The staff is super friendly and hard-working for every wish. The restaurant Genussreich is highly recommended. 4.8 stars out of 5

Best place in Austria. We never had the feeling that there are too many people around like you have in the other places in the area and massages where fine as well. All in all this is the only place where you can really relax.

Bad Blumau is without a doubt one of the most beautiful thermal baths in Austria, if not the world. The thermal water comes from three different sources, the deepest of which - Vulcania - is 3000m deep and from which the Vulcania healing lake feeds. The atmosphere in Bad Blumau is very calm and pleasant - I was there in August, and although there were a lot of people and children, I hardly felt disturbed; I had the sports pool to myself in the morning and late in the evening and was able to swim my lengths and in between enjoy cocktails in the pool, enjoy delicious snacks in between (sorbet and ice cream on rice pudding; pancakes =)), had a massage and a session in the salt grotto. The food (breakfast buffet and evening buffet) is incredibly good: The selection is enormous, everything is regional and organic as possible and with little packaging where possible. More hotels should take an example here. I didn't have anything I didn't like and had a lot of different goodies to taste.
Then there is a rich program of small courses or points that you can attend - morning greeting yoga, back training, etc. etc. A guided tour through the technical facility or the thermal baths is also possible and highly recommended.
Of course, the prices are in the upper sector, and you should make sure to get a room at the end of the corridor / on the upper floors, so as not to be woken up by early risers in the morning (unfortunately I had a room at the very beginning of the corridor, next to the Stairs), but if you know that and are ready to invest the money, then it is a dream getaway. In addition, you get to see beautiful Hundertwasser architecture - and after a day you know your way around the maze of corridors well enough not to get lost. ;) Also worth recommending as a single.

Very nice spa! The park is an experience and you can relax here very well. Sauna landscape is big and nicely done. Infusions are carried out professionally.

Magic place ... Out of time ... This is a complete change of scenery. The baths are proporescent and beautiful. Vulcania is my favorite: a salt water that oscillates between 36 and 38 degrees.
The organic food is of excellent quality, the organic wines are also ... The surrounding nature is perfect for running or simply strolling.

The most beautiful therme I've ever been to. As soon as you enter the areal with the water goddess, you dive into your own world. It gives you the necessary rest, energy and relaxation to escape the daily routine and charge the batteries. For me as a former margaretenbad visitor, it is a kind of childhood memory deluxe. Hundertwasser and Roger (who also already built the aforementioned margaretenbad) have created a masterpiece of relaxation and battery charging here. I'll definitely be back and again and again ....

The old thermal bath is well done, sparkling clean, the water was too warm for us and we started to sweat in the water.

we were the first time in the spa (fantastic short break) the relaxation effect was noticeable after a short time. it is a top hotel !!! Friendliness, cleanliness and that tremendously good breakfast and dinner. The wellness offer is huge, so we booked for autumn right back in their hotel. you can only recommend it !!!

The most beautiful thermal bath I know. I've been coming back here for a long time. I now have children and would like to enjoy this beautiful thermal bath with them. Unfortunately, many pools cannot be used with small children. Some guests also react uncomfortably to children. The hotel and thermal baths are generally open to all guests, which I think is good (it's a shame that there is no more childcare). The hotel is cozy, the service in the restaurants is impeccable and the food tastes good.

Went to the thermal bath and sauna on Wednesday evenings. Very nice ambience, clean, stylish and cozy. Staff very professional. The Vulkano pool is warmer and deeper than in the other thermal baths (but there are swimming aids), which made it very pleasant to drift and switch off. We felt very comfortable.
The 5th star was not awarded because the restaurant inside did not quite meet my expectations. Salad and offer was right - in my opinion the food was not the usual style.

Everything was great from the check-in on the great spa and especially the wonderful steak restaurant GenussReich! We were certainly not here for the last time :-)

Have married there, such a friendly and diligent staff I have never experienced. Keep it up and I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Best thermal bath. Clean. Very large. Salt water pool. Romantic. Pure wellness. You get bath towels and bathrobes. Food is very good. Also booked a lodge for the whole day. It was a dream. Fridge and coffee maker in the lodge. Giant bed. Own access to the salt water pool. Bar with pool service. Everything perfect!

On some days, the loungers in the sauna area are covered with towels, so that there is no place to linger after the infusions. The rubber bracelets are not very comfortable. The most beautiful of spas I know. Forget everything and you relax, saunas, hot springs pools massages at the top, organic cuisine, buffet endless breakfast and dinner, but also restaurants the top, the top of wellness in all seasons, may seem expensive but if you consider that you are in a four conciliation and dinner stars included and also included dozens of treatments. First and last visit.
Price-performance ratio is wrong. I have booked 3 days / 2 nights. The room was ready at 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival (Friday), check-out by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure (Sunday), which, according to Adam Riese, is not even 48 hours.
The lady at the front desk was friendly, she said we can wait or go to the thermal bath (because the room is not ready, arrival day).
No information about where to eat, where to store your luggage, how to get to the thermal baths / spa area, where you can get towels / bathrobes.
Whether you know the system / whether you are on site for the first time .. the lady wasn't interested either.
Room on the ground floor, furnishing ok but nothing earth-shattering, welcome basket would have been nice for the price.
Pool facilities / design of the hotel & thermal baths / food very good.
Nevertheless, I paid over 600 euros for a stay of less than 48 hours.
For the price you get more power in other spas.
I had the feeling that there were too many people and therefore the customers were not being dealt with too much. Pity !

We were on three consecutive evenings in the sauna and in the bathroom and are thrilled with the infusions or by the friendly lifeguards, by the fire brigade chapel, which made music at the Vulkania pool outside in the cold ... The food in the We also liked the restaurant. Thanks for the fresh apples, which the guests simply take from the basket and eat! One could only attach clearer signs here and there and the bus shuttle could drive a little longer and take along the last visitors.

Horrible organization, e-mail traffic gets you ... in response, if you are so nice and inform you that you are late due to a traffic jam. You can argue about the "design", I think it's awful.

We stayed there for 2 nights a few days ago. From Sunday to Tuesday. On Monday morning there was suddenly a terrible clamor of manual work. The drilling was so bad that even the floor vibrated slightly. The room was de facto unusable all day. When asked by the cleaning lady standing in the corridor, she said that the work would continue for the whole week. My problem wasn't the work itself. It goes without saying that something has to be renewed / repaired in a hotel. What really bothered me was how I deal with the guest. I booked by phone 3 days before arrival. One would expect from a wellness hotel that they at least point out the construction activities. When I submitted my criticism at the reception, the only answer was: "Yes, I understand you ...".
Conclusion: dealing with the guest leaves more than to be desired. Therme was very nice.

Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed .... My sister and I gave my mother a voucher for 2 nights at the Rogner Hotel for Christmas and chose Blumau extra - it should be or become something special!
Yes - the thermal bath is beautiful! The hotel itself is of course visually and architecturally unique! I was all the more disappointed with the room: nothing (except the bathroom) would suggest that you are in a Hundertwasser house! A wooden bed and 2 plastic bedside boxes? No picture on the wall! There was an ashtray on the balcony, but there were also cigarettes from the previous tenant inside! The curtains are dirty! Not worthy of a 4-star hotel!
But that would all be ok The worst was the gastronomy: an omelette for breakfast? Nothing! There are cholesterol-free eggs for that ... whether you have cholesterol or not - there are no others! Fruit for breakfast? Watermelon one day, honeydew melon the next, grapes on both days! But an apple (only available when you go to the thermal baths, there are the apple baskets ... a banana? No!
Dinner in the buffet: the selection is too small for having to get everything myself - not worthy of a 4-star hotel either! The salad buffet was extremely "poor", the cocktail sauce had a consistency - like water!
And the next day it got even "better": Food in the Regentag restaurant! At noon the recommendation: Homemade spiral noodles Arrabiata with chilli and olives ... zero taste, zero spiciness! Spagetti Bolognese with a watery sauce - yes, you should just let the pasta drain! So no taste either - unfortunately!
And what about dinner? Great: we all ate schnitzel and couldn't say what kind of meat it was ... fibrous, no taste and not for cutting !!! When my mother asked who cooked it, the waiter said: "I don't know!" When she wanted a sharper knife: "Unfortunately we don't have it" and "They must have cut the meat wrong, I'm sorry"! Approx. 5 minutes later he asked if she would like to eat something else! Even though we all complained, he only asked my mom! So that must not happen in any 4-star hotel!
Yes unfortunately - next time we will probably go to Loipersdorf again ...

I would like to briefly share my experiences at the Bad Blumau thermal baths. We stayed there for 3 nights on vacation. The stay was basically ok, but unfortunately there were some small things that could be improved. But I will start with the positive points.

- Breakfast very extensive and also of very good quality
- Cleanliness in the thermal bath and in the room was great
- Friendliness of the staff in order
- Prices in the restaurant / cafe are completely okay
- Very nice surroundings

Here are the negative points:

- Cocktails can no longer be ordered at the Pool Bar at 3 p.m. Statement: "It is the acceptance deadline" Please wait 10 to 20 minutes then you can order again ". Material has run out !!
- No possibility to dry the wet swimwear in the room, we had to put on some of the wet swimwear again,
- Food in the evening no 4 star category, little choice, desserts looked like finished products. Salad selection always the same in the 3 days.
- Very narrow parking spaces, almost all of which are occupied.
- Reservation in the steak restaurant is very difficult, no indication that you have to reserve at least 2 days in advance.

Definitely worth a visit. Unique atmosphere, very clean and well maintained.
