Stayed there already a couple of Time. Nice rooms. The plus is the small but nice wooden terrace on the top of the hotel for a late night drink enjoying the view and the music. Only 4 stars because the breakfast is not that great compared to surrounding hotels.

Very modern and well equipped. Quibbles on getting ice and coffee delivered to the room and a meal in the main floor lounge was not the best. But the hotel itself is very nice.

Even if you do not stay at the hotel you have to go upstairs to have a drink on your terrace. On really incredible views.

It just didn't deserve 5 stars because the bathroom sink was clogged. Everything else is cool. Good service, friendly staff. The rooftop bar is beautiful and has many good drinks.

The hotel is great, but far from the sights. Good for those who are in the car.

I booked into this hotel on the 18th December for 2 days and I was hugely impressed with the courtesy extended to myself and my partner. The food and bathroom facilities took our breath away. The icing on the cake was the readiness and for very little money I was able to keep my car parked in the hotel car park, or one that they have the use of. I recently booked into another 5 star hotel and this one is charging more than double the money to park my car - so I intend to park elsewhere. I shall be writing my views of that hotel on their website. I intend to visit all the best hotels in Porto and write an account for tourists from the UK. Well done Hotel Palacio! I shall be back soon...

Very good customer service, Carlos from reception took care of us very well, he solved a problem with the air conditioning that did not work well super fast and they gave us breakfast for the inconvenience, very nice and attentive all the staff, the only downside were Beds are very hard and you don't sleep very well. Correct facilities we could not enjoy the spa because of the covid, but we used the heated pool.

Everything about a great hotel with the friendliness of the staff. A magnificent view from the terrace of the lounge bar on the 18th floor.

I did my 200 hour internship last year at Porto Palacio at the Vip loundge. From the chefs to the rest of the colleagues, all very friendly, welcoming and very professional, always trying to welcome and help the interns so that we feel integrated and that we always learn more clearly, always maintaining the good image and refinement that is the hotel .
Even though I passed through this excellent hotel as an intern, I consider that if I had not been an intern but a guest or passer-by, I would also be quite well received and welcomed by the fantastic team that make up the hotel.
I highly recommend it to both guests and anyone who wants to do an internship in the hotel business. However, regarding the internships, I believe that they should adapt the internships to the different interns, for example, not to put a trainee in the tourism industry who does not have training in a bar in a bar, but even without having training in the bar area, I learned a lot.

The service was great, the check in starts at 15 pm, but I arrived at 12 pm and they provided the room, anyway! The room is also great and it has a higiene kit, in case you forget anything!

An upscale place in multiple aspects for sure...from the moment that we arrived up to the rooms and suport facilities. Biggest gap and chalenge to be solved identified is the breakfast. In my point of view a 5 star st this level deserves a better breakfast offer and service...remember that this is the first contact and impression that the client gets in the morning...

Rooms are spacious and have nice views. Room service is also delicious.

Room clean and always sanitized, we feel very safe. Very competent staff and the location is great.
The hotel staff is always on hand to answer questions, suggest alternative places to visit and good restaurants, very important as some places were still closed.
A very special thanks to the breakfast staff who gave my children a lot of treats and joy.

Just another hotel at Porto but this time it's one of the oldest hotels in the city. I only use the gym, which has everything.

Restaurant with buffet lunch and fabulous views over the Port

I went to lunch .... a disappointment. Expensive (18 euros) for what is served ..
The food was so-so, nothing too much, without much seasoning, without much flavor ...
The salads, basic and looked like they had been prepared the day before (the mayonnaise is half crystallized), wilted leaves, tomato past ....
The desserts were better, but too few. I mean .... I will not come back to eat in this place. For this money I have eaten much better in the House of Music or in the Stock Exchange Palace.

POSITIVE: The hotel is modern, the rooms spacious and comfortable. Impeccable service and the spectacular breakfast buffet.
NEGATIVE: There are two "spas", the free one is a relic of the past with pool and jacuzzi. There is another much better payment. We tried to dine in the VIP Deluxe Lounge restaurant on the roof and to our surprise they only served an unworthy buffet (2 cooked dishes) of a hotel of this category.

In general the facilities and the service are excellent.

The food served in the hotel bar is of very poor quality, I ate hamburger on a plate with salad, in which the hamburger was identical to that of a supermarket in the frozen area and white label, either for its flavor, presentation and texture. The salad looked more like they had opened the package and tossed it on the plate without any introduction. We had to order spices and add nuts to the menu to make the dish more interesting. It took them forever to serve. A disappointment. Experience not to repeat ..

A few days spent outside in this hotel. Very decent rooms, panoramic restaurant offers a classic buffet for an excessive price. The gym and SPA are exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff. We left personal belongings in our room when we left. We reported it immediately, but nothing was returned to us. Small bitter taste ...

As I have young daughters, I don't feel safe in many hotels, but in this one I felt at ease.

I found the decor modern and the staff friendly, as I have another 5-month-old daughter, I needed a crib and the staff didn't exist in many hotels so I needed to be upset because the staff made excuses!
I will come back mainly for the affordable price

5 star hotel in all services with a fantastic space the 5 star duplex room has a terrace at the top with a fantastic view of the city.
It was one of the hotels of choice for me I will return here

The room is nice and the bed comfortable but I think you pay too much for the price. If you do not have too much money look for a 4 stars nearby that you will not notice much of the difference.

Hotel and staff at the height of its classification. Super Spa, squash room, gym, pool and terrace in the 19th for a drink with a superb view

I come back to my opinion to develop the room was clean because the housekeepers cleans perfectly well on the other hand the furniture is damaged by time and especially the use of carpet which should in theory be beige, it is stained (room 511 and 1406 ditto)
Another big surprise is the access to the pool and the spa it's just a dream because there is really only one small pool open and the cost you have to make an appointment and find a limited time slot.
The icing on the cake is New Year's Eve the restaurant was closed so there, I had never seen that for a 5 star hotel
And I don't understand because in Lisbon we booked a 4 star hotel and frankly it was something else so it's really a big disappointment
