Poorly priced and expensive for the service provided

Very good roast veal and Portuguese stew as well. The posta or the ribs are nothing special. The space is nice but the service is a bit impersonal.

Good meat .. Great wines .. Starting with the house wine! I strongly advise!

I went with my family to this restaurant, it does just today 1 week. The only thing I have to point out was the first wine that was served, as being a homemade wine did not have the proper treatment. But otherwise it was all good.

Excellent food, friendliness, good value for money, to put arouquesa was optimal.

Lugarthe place is good more It leaves something to be desired in the service and I found little food.

Very good food and the meat is just delicious. I believe they get the meat from animals kept on the mountainside so it's naturally better quality meat. Would definitely recommend that you stop by if you are in the area.

I was having lunch at this restaurant on the 19th of this month of August, we were there to eat the dish of the day, there were feijoada, (in the true sense of the word, very many beans and little meat), and another dish, we asked, the price 7 , we send afterwards 2 meals, after eating the beans, we were presented with the bill, which totaled 16 for whatever reason and we were told that because of being served in another room there was an increase of 1 per meal.
Honestly, this and a lack of respect and consideration for customers, I noticed that at the tables a little further back, no extra fee was applied as was our case.
Conclusion acquaintances and friends have a treatment, and those outside, as in our case, have another.
For this reason I strongly recommend not going to this restaurant if you are from outside Arouca.

There was no staff in the room, no one to greet us. We waited and noone came. We left.

Served by an ill-disposed veteran and very weak as a waiter who does not know how to sell what good he has in the restaurant. He did not know how to properly meet a client in sportswear scowling from the start. I was nice all the time but Mr. Tie-pooped veteran was in a bad mood. I left food on the plate, and did not even ask if it was good and why I'd leave the extra rice I ordered. I say this, because everything was cold, yet the post was tender, which quenched my hunger. After the employee little concerned about satisfying the customer says "already finished the account?". Right here I stayed a thread to ask you to call me your boss! He does not even ask if I want coffee, dessert ... If he showed up with my other car and in fact everything would change shape for this employee who evaluates people for his mask.
In the end I ordered a coffee and the bill and went to eat on the other side.
Anyway, I would not recommend it for having a woefully poor service for the show off that the house looks like.

The photo says it all, the difference is that we asked with taxpayers, the next table lords did not want taxpayer on the bill.
Why different prices, and different names to the same dishes? And the same wine? Not for the extra 3.5 euros ... But why did I pay more, if things were the same? Just for having a contributor ?!

I did not like it for several reasons, 1, treated me like a tourist, 2 tried to charge what I did not consume, 3 in Arouca in a simple restaurant, 1 euro coffee?

I ate cod at the house. It was almost raw and tasteless. The dose was quite large.

Terrible service, no smile ... We had to cancel two orders ... due to the delay. We ordered a rare steak, a loaf that looked more like rubber, black beans in syrup that looked like soup. Air conditioning off, I had to do it, yes I did. Terrible, do not recommend.
