Great hotel, comfortable and quiet and well connected to the bustling city center

Great hotel with very polite and frjendly stuff, amazing view to the ocean, good wellness and sport facilities. Recommended!

This is an unusual, cozy hotel with a high level of staff and service.

As far as I was allowed to access and enjoy, I underline the friendliness of the employees at the Entrance, the friendliness and the delicate professionalism of the Reception and the Good and attentive and friendly Bar service, even though it is a period between the end of the morning and the early afternoon.
It should be added that during my short stay in the hall, Entrance and Bar, I also felt as notorious, for observing, an "air of well-being served" in the vast clientele that circulated in the space, according to their directions.
Male WC at the entrance, ground floor, small, not suitable for a larger influx, suppose at a time when the Bar has a high number of guests / customers. However, impeccably clean and with a good basket of terry towels for occasional use.

Aircon did not work in our room. After long wait and two phone calls someone came to fix it. WiFi is very bad.
Breakfast very good and friendly staff.

This is a top class hotel with a superb bar area, great roof-top restaurant and stylish decor throughout. One of the best hotels in the region. It was one of the highlights during our trip to Porto. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel, comfortable and with very helpful staff, beautiful rooftop, exceptional choice of whiskeys and bartenders trained for it! Great pool, spa and gym! Beautiful and spotless rooms, a hotel a little out of the center but easily accessible ( 4 with uber).

Good hotel, it is not very central but you have good access to the monumental area. Parking is somewhat expensive and the worst is the breakfast buffet. It is not acceptable that in a 5-star hotel you have to queue every day to enter and especially that half of the things are missing: in many moments there were practically only cereals and cookies. The pool is covered.

The employees are very attentive and friendly. The rooms are great, they are very comfortable and large, but it catches my attention that, being a hotel of such category, the toilet paper of such bathrooms is of such poor quality, very rough. The cleanliness of the rooms is acceptable but, I am surprised that the mirrors are not cleaned well and the sheets are not changed being the stay of several days. On the other hand, breakfast is fabulous, but the spa leaves much to be desired. Finally, the location is very good. I would repeat the stay.

From Extremadura we recommend 100% the hotel, an experience of attention. Carlos the receptionist, super, super attentive ... we will return

Hotel with good equipment and clean with a good level of service overall. Note the age on some room equipment. Light system somewhat confusing. Good sized room with good soundproofing. Comfortable bed.

It was okay. Rooms were good but there was nothing special about it to warrant a 5 star rating. No all night bar.

The Porto Palace rooftop is undoubtedly one of the best places in Porto to have a panoramic view and still enjoy a beautiful and cozy space, whether for a coffee in the afternoon, a drink or for lunch or dinner, with a buffet. amazing, with an amazing array of salads, hot dishes, cheeses and miscellaneous pastries. The service is also all special. Super recommended!

Great place, very well situated, 5 * staff, always available and ready to help!
Breakfast has a lot of choice, the restaurant / bar has a magnificent view over the beautiful city of Porto, where we can watch the sunset and enjoy a great cocktail!
The SPA part is great: from the pool, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, to the simple fact that the staff pay attention to the number of entrances so that users can even relax. I highly recommend, to repeat !!

I do not advise. Pessimistic and traumatizing experience. Errors, mistakes, rooms, keys exchange, give rooms occupied by other people, dirty rooms. Dangerous tub anyway ... bad, bad, bad. 5 ***** ?? Neither 1 *.

The view is wonderful but the rooms need a refresh ... problems with the operation of the cologne shower and the restaurant which is a must of this hotel was closed without prior notice. Pity !

A 5 Star Hotel that does not have a fresh and natural orange juice for breakfast may not be a good hotel, much more could write but I stand around.

Very good hotel in Oporto located in Avda de Boavista. It has a terrace on the 19th floor that is spectacular.
The rooms are very good and the staff attentive and friendly.
The taxis to the center and to the shore cost from 7 to 8 euros.
The tourist bus stops 2 blocks from the hotel.

Good top roof restaurant. Access to a the warm spa. Rooms have two bathrooms and the top down mirror.

Good rooms, staff at breakfast are super friendly what can't be said from the reception staff. Location isn't the best but it's a nice 40 min walk to the water front

Externally it does not look like much. But once in there we understand better the word palace used. Very nice hotel. Very good gastronomy. The rooms are big and clean. There is even a TV in the shower !! In short it is the small dishes in the big ones.

It's a nice hotel. But the location is a bit far off the center and one of the staff was extremely rude and we can assume she was being racist because she was nice to anyone that was white or Portuguese

It is not a 5 star hotel with very good facilities and a service to tone. Expensive and with much more expensive parking ( 28 per day) (April 2019). Gym, terrace and heated pools very well. Great attention

Nice place, room service a bit light but good restaurant in the hotel

An ok hotel but definitely not worthy of five star status. Four at most. Lots of small things that add up. Non-existant WiFi, a half an hour wait on room service, drink splashes up the wall, no hotel information in the room, no numbers for the reception, housekeeping etc on the phones, uncomfortable pillows, a long wait for the lifts. To be fair the staff seem generally quite nice and it has a massive gym. An adequate place for a night's sleep, just not a five star hotel.

Unfortunetly me and my partner cant say same about receptionists. At night when we arrived (21/22.08) my partner kindly ask if we can get higher floor (as we asked while booking) and receptionist answer in sarcastic way that we get 16th floor but i dont know if its enough for you . No, it wasnt said as funny joke, it was sarcastic way.
At afternoon 24.08 i asked one of two ladies which where present at reception, can she help me or advise how to get tickets for train to Lisbon. Lady even didnt look at me and just said train station . After i asked if its gonna be open (in my country usually they are not in saturdays) and i didnt receive any answer. I can understand a lot of things, but i was working as receptionist as well, and if someone from foreign country asking me about tickets to anywhere for sure im not gonna say train station . Of course its obvious! Untill you are not in foreign country. Im just kindly asking why you have written on your booking page concierge and touristic information if you cant give me simple advise.
Fortunetly at same night guy from reception when we asked again give us adress of train station and website where we can check all trains and buy tickets. He even propose that he may help us if we just want to :) easy? Easy.

Funny space with good location, very good rooftop with views over Porto. Food nice and good spaces for events.

Clean room service and impeccable services, second stays in 8 days and nothing to complain about the pool which I think is too heated and almost unbreathable.

Perfect Spa! The Paulo masseuse is a must! Stunning view of the city!
