Its beautiful!! 100% nature, clean family, comfortable, kindness, wonder.

Beautiful property, excellent service, and amazing food. Best resort in area, and should be a luxury resort for what your in for. The staff and everyone who is an employee really do make sure you have a magical vacation. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave they ll make sure you have the best time. Food served is quite delicious but may be harder for a very picky eater. (But even picky eaters loved it on my trip!) The beach is beautiful, white sand and even a sand bar! Little clear angel fish come to the near shallow, but are notharmful. The waves are perfect and calm pretty much every vist. The only downside was seaweed for two nights but it was gone by the next day. The room is wonderful and the housekeeping does a quite well job. (They even do cute things with your stuffed animals!) The pool is really large but a bit too deep for kids unless their REALLY good swimmers. Entertainment here is wonderful! They have a kid show and family friendly shows every night and serve drinks. Activities at the resort are spot on perfect as well, the kids club is perfect and they do nice activities such as making ty-dye shirts. The hotel also offers canoeing and other water/beach activities. Overall, this is a beautiful resort that I will love to come back to. An experience you ll never forget.

Everything is perfect for the hotel, except ventilation in restaurants if you feel some heat.

When registering, registration is very slow. Rooms are ready after 15:00. The first week is very good. If you need something, you should call the office. For lovers of Greek and Italian I recommend in the neighboring resort restaurant. The two chambers are open to each other. There is no limit to where you will sit for a meal. The two restaurants in the resort are welcome. The program starts at 9:00 and ends at 23:00. The show program can be seen on the ad board. includes a beach, pool and stage program. lots of dances and music. has live music and singers. A wet bar is also nice. in restaurants there is a live test after the meal. The main restaurant arrives to ask you how the food is. There are jets and a parachute ride. 5 Japanese, Mexican, Steak, Mediterian and Italian restaurants. Beach service is very good. And let's not forget that no one works out. I think $ 100 one for a tip is enough. the beach is very close. I recommend private fees directly to the resort. Do not forget to take photos with white hats clothes is very nice to remember. Resort was nice but don't go if you expect any service as there wasn't any in the restaurants or the bars even the executive areas I waited 2.5 hours for someone to ask if I wanted anything.i will never go back

The hotel is very good. However, some rooms need more maintenance and better air renovation.

It is my third visit to this hotel and I like it more and more .. The staff is very friendly and the meals are very rich and varied. The atmosphere of this hotel is wonderful to enjoy as a family or as a couple .. since it is quiet and you can rest . Without a doubt I will return one day to enjoy my beloved Mexico!

Excellent family hotel, with great service and entertainment

Very good holidays, the infrastructure is very good very pleasant. Many well connected spaces. Activities for all ages and good location for typical schools like Xcaret. The beach is very wide, there are no stones and it is generally clean except for a bit of sargassum. Although there are personnel permanently cleaning the coast what floats there is no way. In February I do not bother, I do not know in other months.
Pool 10 points. Too bad it closes at 19.
The room is fine, the beds are small but the usual in Mexico. At least they even offered me an additional campaign for the children but it was not necessary.
There is a small jungle with monkeys, birds and other animals in the wild that the children enjoyed

The buffet food was not wow but it was fine. If the food on the beach was very good, many options at hand. The basic drinks, a lot of concentrated juice as in all inclusive.

We were staying 7 nights. In the room there is little to be an all inclusive, no comb was, little in the fridge and the toilet bad, we returned from the beach and it was not done.
Little place on the beach, had to get up early to have shade with the baby. The entertainment guys are geniuses, the food is fine. The hotel very nice and all very attentive

The attention is excellent and the location next to the sea is privileged. When there were problems in the room, they were solved, although not as quickly. The menu is extensive. It has several themed restaurants (5 I think) with not very varied menu but very tasty. My favorite was the Mediterranean food.

This hotel is very good. The cleanliness is very good, the night-shows are very fun, the food VERY delicious, the guests are very good, the tieditas are coming. You feel very welcome. The different species of animals that walk around are quite beautiful. I felt very comfortable.

Seaweed on the beach. Otherwise the place is great for families and couples

A beautiful place with a very good setting and excellent attention, accompanied by a forest with trails that allowed us to appreciate different types of flora and fauna of the place .. excellent shows of different varieties of magic, Mexican folklore, etc. all super entertaining

the only detail at 9 in the morning there was no more free lounge. the excited people left the towels on the chairs and went to breakfast without allowing use. By way of reservation, the only free ones were those that the sun gave all day on the beach.

I visited this resort with my husband in April 2017.

Summary:
Would I return to this resort? No, definitely not.
Would I recommend this resort? No, I do not recommend this resort. Try a different resort in this region, or try the U.S. Virgin Islands instead to avoid the hassle of international travel.

The positive:
-This resort is beautiful! It was recently renovated when we visited. The exterior colors of the buildings are bright and vibrant, and the Mayan art and other touches are nice and not overdone.
-We really enjoyed the jungle part of the resort. Walking through this and seeing all the animals was a highlight of staying here, and made walking from one end of the resort to the other fun, instead of drudgery.
-The beach area is immaculate and the staff obviously works hard to keep it that way.

The negative:
-The staff speaks Spanish almost exclusively. Some speak English, but we only found a few who spoke it well and understandably.
-Another very negative aspect of our trip was the food. The only options for breakfast and lunch are buffets, and the only dinner options are the same sub-par buffets, or if you make reservations at the fancier restaurants. The point of vacation is unscheduled life, so making reservations is the exact opposite of that, and we did not like it. Also, the food options at this resort make it almost impossible to accommodate people with food allergies.
-A very weird aspect of our trip was how the staff spoke exclusively to my husband, instead of addressing us as a couple. They would speak to me if I spoke to them, but it was obvious that they prefer addressing the man. This was very uncomfortable for both of us, and has been repellent to any of my female friends I have told.
-Another negative was how hard the resort pushes the Star Prestige membership. It is very confusing, especially when relayed in broken English, but essentially you pay them a membership fee in exchange for discounts on future stays at the resort and resort services. We tried to book a tour, and the resort staff instead tried to sell us the Star Prestige membership. To complicate matters, we purchased our resort stay online, and bought the Star Prestige upgrade package, so we thought we already had that when they tried to sell it to us. However, we didn t have the membership, just the upgrade package, so it was all very confusing until we figured that out.
-The gratuity policy is confusing at this resort. Tips are supposedly included in the resort price, but guests are encouraged to tip extra if they find the service especially top-notch. This leads to some guests getting better treatment than others. This is unfair for guests who do not come prepared to tip extra, and the staff should not be allowed to accept tips.
-Finally, the shuttle service from the resort to the airport, for which we paid extra, dropped us at the wrong terminal, despite arranging for the service in advance and confirming flight information. The driver did not have good enough English language skills to ask us for that information, or for us to confirm it with him. That cost us an extra $20 to get a cab to go to the correct terminal. The resort did refund this when we got home and complained, but it was very frightening and stressful to be in the wrong place at a large, unfamiliar international airport where the primary language is not your own.

A resort with excellent care, the best food, with access to the beach, and a good place to rest.

overall, the resort was very beautiful. there were flamingos, swans, peacocks, and even a cat walking around the resort. the rooms were nice and the maids who came in did room service always did a great job, they even organized your things. however, if you re an adult looking for a place to have fun, this is not the place to come. the drinks were horrible (very watered down) and the food was also horrible and didn t have much of a selection. they had shows in the evenings which were okay if you were looking to kill a little time. but there s no nightlife, no beach or pool parties. extremely boring. the only nightlife they had were clubs off the resort on 5th street. if you re looking for a relaxing vacation and prefer to sit by the pool or beach all day then you would enjoy this resort. if not, i do not recommend this resort at all.

Food could be better. And pools should be open after 7. Otherwise it's a good price

Divine the hotel !! Beautiful place and attention and kindness highlight it. Full of vegetation and animals. Amazing food, great shows at night and the beach and surroundings make it perfect

The food and staff ate absolutely amazing. Our entire stay we didn't meet a single staff member that wasn't the nicest. My only problem has been the "resort dollars" that Apple vacations offers with the stay. You have to sit through hours of listening and dodging pushy salesmen and the dollars are like little coupon book to be used for discounts at merchants equivalent to the cash value. Soooooo not worth the time and aggravation.

Diner reservations were made incorrectly multiple times causing much headache and inconvenience. Numerous other accommodation related misshaps occured. We will look elsewhere for our annual Mexico vacation next year.

The do it all entertainers Chris Flowers and Christian made it the best experience. Food was great and the beach was nice, but Chris and Christian made it the best experience I have ever had.

A good holiday stay

My wife and I booked our stay at Iberostar Tucan from 05/18-05/23/2019. Our flight was canceled due to tornados in Dallas. The flight was rescheduled for the next morning. That flight was then for delayed for 5 hours, arriving in Cancun the night of 05/19. This flight was then delayed again. I then changed my flight to the next morning since we already missed out on 2 days in hopes of extending the trip past 05/23. On the morning of 05/20 we arrived at the airport and were put on standby. We were not selected for the morning flight and told we were now on standby for that evening.

I called American Airlines Vacations, which was where I originally booked the trip to Iberostar Tucan and canceled the trip.

AA Vacations immediately refunded the airfare payment and told me Iberostar Tucan was not willing to work with me on a credit voucher or refund. I appealed the decision and after 2 months was told the following from AA Vacations, We were disappointed to learn the inclement weather impacted your trip to Cancun. Based on the concerns you provided we have contacted the Iberostar Tucan. We regret to inform you, we have been unsuccessful in securing agreement for any waivers or reimbursement for the hotel component of your package. Therefore, we are unable to offer any type of credit or reimbursement.

I will never stay with an Iberostar resort and advise everyone the be very cautious.

A dream vacation. We could have changed the hotel for free on an "upgrade" but nobody wanted, as we found it very nice with the jungle and pool bar in the reserve. There are many animals to see and all the staff are super friendly.

Wonderful complex with a small jungle and many native animals, a huge pool and a long, wide stretch of beach. Despite the size, it has been possible to design the complex in a relaxed manner, so that even when the house is fully occupied, you can still find quiet areas. They are very child- and family-friendly - there is a lot on offer for them, as well as for people with physical handicaps. Several buffet restaurants and 5 themed restaurants (Mexican, Steakhouse, Italian, Japanese and Mediterranean. A particularly large number of high-quality fish specialties and seafood and excellent desserts
The guest structure is very international, mainly from Argentina, USA, Canada, but also increasingly from Europe (Germany, France, Italy). The age structure is completely mixed.

The excellent hotel has everything to fully enjoy !! We were a group of 9 people and the attention was very good ... to highlight the good vibes and cordiality of the chefs Angeles and Alexis and also the waiter Carlos from the Cozumel restaurant!
