I went on vacation and except for the restaurant food which was not of much quality and one day I was intoxicated, it was a very nice place. I had a great time with my girlfriend and I recommend it to relax have fun and laugh with the entertainment

Generally good, the staff are friendly and professional, but the lack of free Wifi irks me. Cheap hotels manage it, but this large resort can't? Are they going to charge us for water and electricity next? Charging for Internet access in 2013 is just absurd.

All in good condition, clean, wide variety in Buffet restaurants and of good quality. Of the special restaurants the sea food ed el mejor. Staff very helpful and concerned about incorporating amenities to all. Very good value for money, excellent beach and many lounge chairs.

I like it a lot since it is the fourth time I have come to this hotel chain because the others have been in Jamaica at the IBEROSTAR ROSE HALL BEAC since the attention of the staff is very good and the places are wonderful

It is a nice hotel, the staff has been very attentive, it is a hotel surrounded by nature, the facilities in general are very nice, I would only ask to add more variety of dishes in the breakfasts.

Lovely setting. Staff always helpful and friendly. Beautiful beach. Not enough drawers to put clothing in . Would like sunbeds on the waters edge on beach. Sometimes food in the buffet restaurant is cold. Our second visit.

Good place. White beach and they kept it as clean as they could ( seaweed invasion- been here for about 18 months apparently all over playa area). Buffet s were we re ok at best, restaurants were much better . Lots of wild life at the resort.
Lots to do in the area, ruins, cenotes etc. it is an older resort, first room has some issues , but the wildlife and atmosphere over rode those issues to me.

First class dishes in the specialty buffets and it was very easy to make reservations with concierge from the app and after the live show, I will continue visiting Iberostar whenever I can!

Loungers are reserved no chance to get a lounger at the pool or beach in the afternoon.

Staff don't mind reserving the chairs in the morning.

An excellent place to enjoy your holidays with your family

I'm definitely not an expert for this kind of villages but we loved to stay at the Iberostar Tucan. The place features a big green area in which a jungle has been re-created and populated with several kinds of animals (from Iguana, to tzereque, to peacocks, to monkeys etc.
Countless species of birds can be spotted while just passing through for going to the swimming pool area or to the beach. There is even a community of flamingos.
Beside that I loved the food, the cocktails, the beach. Marine turtles are deposing their eggs right on the beach in front of the hotel.

Excellent!!. The surroundings, the facilities, the food and all the human team that works in the hotel in the different areas (entertainment, toilets, reception, waiters, etc.), make the stay very pleasant and in a very welcoming atmosphere.

Beautiful all inclusive hotel on white sandy beach, is right next to Iberostar Quetzal (same property), these two hotels are unique in certain way because they have a little jungle in between with monkeys (little ones), peacock birds, chipmunk, turtles, water fall (small), is beautiful for pictures, we stayed there for 8 days and we loved it. Buffet restaurants, Italian rest. Mediterranean rest. Mexican rest. Japanese rest. International rest. Kids club and more. Downside: Rooms does not have drawers to put the cloths, and we were club members so I don't know about non club members. No microwave in room. Our room was #2008 ocean front ground floor.

Excellent hotel, very large and clean facilities, beautiful green areas and well maintained. All the staff is very friendly, the food very good.

It's a wonderful place! Everyone who works there makes your stay perfect. There are different activities all day long (Bingo, Zumba on the beach, dance classes, soccer on the beach, etc.) At night you can dine at its different restaurants, go to the shows at the theater, the Star Friends always with a smile to make you feel comfortable and have fun, there is a Kids Club where children have fun with activities like archery, soccer on the beach, playing with balloons in the pool, etc. There is also a Dressel Divers where you can go snorkeling (cost separately), this is a wonderful experience highly recommended the staff there makes you feel safe and will make you enjoy the wonders of the Caribbean Sea. The hotel has a very clean beach. Go!

It is one of the best hotels that I have visited, the only thing that I did not like was that there is very little variety of food in its buffet, but it is very rich.

Too many mosquitoes, food is not good, help was friendly and helpful, lots of smokers, lots of sick people from water or food.

Hotel fantastico very good food very good cleaning. All very friendly staff the beach with good beach and good in March many negative watercraft throughout the day which becomes very annoying because so noise and the smell of gasoline we feel when we enter the water from the beach

Thoroughly enjoyed Luis - a marvelous guitar player. He plays a couple of nights a week at the duo resort. Give that man a raise!||The dancers are fabulous! Unfortunately the singers were a disappointment.||Liked that there was no disco - quiet hotel in the evening. Only late night place was the Sports Bar.

Excellent cleaning but in the reception give little information. Little variety in restaurants.

Great Iberostar resort as usual. The resort is beautiful, especially the jungle area, and the wildlife is really cool. The pool and bar areas are wonderful as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. The only complaint I have is that the food wasnt that good. I was really disappointed on the selection of local, Mexican foods. I don't want pizza, french fries, and hamburgers when I'm in another country......I want their traditional food. Iberostar resorts usually have a great selection of fresh juices, but this one was lacking in this area as well. Overall this was a great resort and good experience. If the food was better it would have pushed this to a five star rating.

Excellent the stay, the facilities, the food and especially the animation team with Irvin, Beto, Alan, Jeff and several as well as the Star Camp that have fun and my kids to our night! Thanks Fernanda, Vanesa, Ana Analuz and all those who work in the mini club !!!!

This place is amazingly friendly, clean and beautiful. The entertainment is top notch. Drinks are cold and delivered when needed.
My wife and 2 girls came with me on a destination wedding for a friend. When we arrived we upgraded our room to be closer to the beach. The upgrade was reasonable and we also have access to the spa and steam room.
The room is clean and well laid out. The shower is walk in and open with a rain shower head. Not much water pressure but beautiful and spacious.
The food our first night was excellent.
The staff is friendly and not pushy for tips.

Very nice place, a week is not enough to see everything on the site. Safe place even outside to go to playa del Carmen 30 minutes walk
