Was a nice and relaxing stay - unfortunately I think it was a bit overpriced and it was in my opinion too many trees cut down - so a star deduction. We had booked an arrangement in the BaumChalet with whirlpool on the terrace. Rooms are quite small but nicely decorated, bathroom i.O. - It would be nice if there was a sauna available, the place is indeed available. View from the bed is ok, but not really Stunning - in the summer probably more beautiful, since the trees are leafy. Our room was facing the street and there only, from our chalet, only 4-5 meters further trees stood and the rest were the minigolf and the climbing park was cleared, saw and heard the street or the cars. Dinner in the restaurant Salzburger Hochalm was very nice to look at and also delicious. We were able to get between buffet and a la carte. We always opted for the latter, but the buffet looked really delicious. Breakfast buffet was delicious, lots of choice and you can even get freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff, in all areas, was always very nice and obliging to us.

Hotel engagement was great. Skiing and half board with a first class buffet in the Hochalm. Breakfast with self-squeezed orange juice and fresh mountain ham ... Simply a dream. Only the reservation in the Hochalm should definitely be confirmed again. Because unfortunately that sometimes goes under when booking.
For once, I call on the judgment of my guests in nearby Frankenheim who have stayed there .... Round in the happy if it is worth 4 stars but no one could say. But clean and friendly staff that is half the rent
I was a conference guest with an overnight stay in a double room; The meeting room was large and thanks to the air conditioning a pleasant indoor climate could be achieved. However, it was unpleasant for those who sat directly under the air conditioning and have felt the cold breeze clearly. (This problem will of course vary according to group size and seating arrangement) The staff was always friendly and helpful. The food was mostly very traditional (Bavarian, hearty), but offered enough options for every taste. A special highlight was the view of the piste from the restaurant and the planned design down to the smallest detail in the 'Alpine style' throughout the hotel. The room was large and clean. Only the distinctive room fragrance was very pronounced in my room, I personally did not like. Unfortunately, the whole night was a noise of ventilation to hear. In itself it is a very great and exceptional hotel with a high recreational value and leisure character by the adjacent ski hall. The hotel has a lot of carpet, curtains and upholstered furniture. This as a final note for allergy sufferers.
The hotel is located directly in the ski hall and is very modern equipped. The rooms were cozy and of the style modern but rustic. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom spacious. The evening meal with buffet and the breakfasts were delicious with a rich selection. The floors are carpeted throughout. Tiled in the bathroom. The staff very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay this year. The room and the food were great as always. However, we were very hung up by the service. Both table reservations for dinner did not work even though I had booked a table early enough we stood there in the evening without. The first evening we got a table assigned but had to be almost finished with the first plate to order something to drink. The second evening topped everything because we got almost no space but we were offered two places we had to vacate in an hour. So you could neither enjoy the buffet nor the ambience properly but had to hectically eat the dinner. And finally, we stood at the reception and wanted to get our ski tickets to finally go on the slopes and the whole system did not work. Instead of trying to find a solution, they would come back in an hour. To rate the overall impression of the service staff, we only PLANLOS and UNORGANIZED, which we in the wellness area also from other guests with various stories to hear. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the short break but at the check out I would have liked something after I approached these points but nothing like that. Only statement that I pass on. I work in the service sector myself and know that you always have a small opportunity in the drawer to make the customer happy again. Very bad!
Excellent place, lovely and professional staff, high level of hygiene, very delicious restaurant. Spacial thanks to the amazing bartender, Remi, for exceptional and wholehearted service, utmost level of customer orientation!
The hotel has a great Austrian charm. The rooms are cozy and some have a bunk bed, like ours, which is of course an adventure for the children. The breakfast buffet was delicious, there was a little bit of everything. The time slots also make it possible for guests to eat at a sufficient distance. We ordered dinner every day in the in-house restaurant. The quality has fluctuated a lot. The kitchen staff was sometimes immensely overloaded. One evening we were there at 6 p.m. and at 9 p.m. we still had no dessert, so we canceled. Over the next two days an attempt was made to straighten the whole thing out by means of a buffet. However, the selection didn't convince us and we ordered from the menu. In addition, it was too expensive for a 7-year-old. The price for the snack board is 5 euros more expensive on the invoice than on the menu. You have to be careful here. When I checked out I told the front desk about it. I would be happy if it was changed now. Activities at the hotel include not only the ski hall, but also a climbing course, 2 mini golf courses and a playground. In the immediate vicinity you can also experience a lot outside, where you can keep enough distance - Dormagener Tannenbusch, Knechtsteden Monastery, Zons, Bobbolandia playground (quite expensive and a bit old, you should spend the whole day there), Krefeld Zoo . Finally, the Haribo factory outlet in Neuss should be mentioned, which offers a mega selection.
Modern 4 **** S hotel. "Hello" greetings, dirndl and very rustic wooden elements bring the mountains to Neuss. In the midsummer, the snow is a bit strange for pure conference guests, but nevertheless it is fun to watch the drivers through panoramic windows in the lobbies and bars.
The hotel is very well connected. The hotel staff is very nice, the conference rooms are a bit old-fashioned but functional. The food is good for the amount of customers.
Overall, a nice hotel and well suited for families. We had a family suite with 2 smaller children (6, 3 years): a lot of space but unfortunately only one shower and this flooded the entire bathroom every time, because the door below was leaky. Breakfast was ok but nothing exceptional. The outdoor areas with a playground and trampoline are beautiful. Employees are friendly (especially with children) but not always competent.
Good, and especially clean, rooms. Good breakfast. What makes this hotel special are the sports possibilities it offers such as a ski hall, mini golf, climbing etc
We were here every 2 weeks for years (little son and mom). Me and my son were always happy with the rooms, the offers, the service and the food! Here everything is made for the children so that they feel good! My son learned to mix cocktails, was massaged and was climbing the climbing walls! In fine weather, the offer is varied, golf, climbing, beer garden and then for the cold season skiing or sledding!
We were very happy there and last but not least we felt so well, because they greeted us by name and knew!
Great hotel, very family friendly, fantastic breakfast
Were now the 6th time in the "Fire and Ice" .. this time a tree chalet booked ... the room and bathroom were always top. What we did not like was the much too small table in the room ... if you look The breakfast in the room could have been brought, you would have no way the tray somewhere off. Also, there was no wardrobe. The patio furniture was a joke ... a mini table was held together with ropes and shook so much that you could not even put a glass on it without it falls over. And the "couches" were cramped, too deep and uncomfortable. Since you could also choose something more solid and comfortable and can stand. Next time we will book a normal or theme room, so we have a great stay in our favorite hotel.
We stayed at the BaumChalet Waldart. It was just great! We felt very comfortable. It was also possible to have breakfast brought to the chalet, which we gladly took advantage of! (Plus 5 - it was worth the money !!). The hotel and the whole area are very clean and just great! We will be back! Thanks especially to the friendly staff and service! You are awesome!
Highly recommended! top service, delicious food, centrally located, clean, spacious wellness area. Unfortunately, in my opinion, smoking guests are also considered third-class by the hotel management.
Rooms are clean and in a very good condition. Not brand new but as you would expect. Prices for food I find much too expensive. Breakfast p.P 36 . But thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the free sauna and gym it gets 4 stars. Would if you get a cheap price always come back
Have spent our 10 wedding anniversary in a theme suite! We loved it ..... The suite is beautiful, clean, warmly decorated, the bathroom a dream with sauna ..... I have not never seen! To relax from everyday life fantastic! We will definitely be back!
We had booked a tree house chalet with whirlpool. For us it was like a short break. It was just super relaxing. The breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. We look forward to returning!
I've experienced quite a bit of restaurants ... but here both quality and service is underground. > 1 hour waiting for a steak (in the probably too empty restaurant) .... on multiple requests was repeatedly confirmed More
At the end of March we felt like a special kind of overnight stay and so we booked a tree chalet with a whirlpool. The tree chalets are all very new and really nice. The room itself is a bit cramped, but quite adequate for a night or two. The bathrooms, however, are very generous, through this one can also access the terrace. Towels, bathrobes and slippers were available and were gladly used by us. The absolute highlight of course has been the whirlpool, this is already pleasantly pre-tempered, has different "blubber" strengths, color change light and three different seat heights. The breakfast the next morning was rich with a wider choice and tasted good. Sobering, however, we felt the visit in the restaurant "Salzburger Hochalm". Since we had decided very short notice not to drive in and eat to Neuss, we were right there shortly after the opening of the restaurant at 17 clock. The restaurant was as expected still completely empty and we would have liked to have a place overlooking the slope. The staff (two younger men) asked us if we reserved and after we had this we were taken to the farthest corner of the restaurant, where it was unpleasantly cold. The food we found for the prices unfortunately only as average and therefore overpriced. During our entire stay in the restaurant just came another group of four people. When we left the Salzburg Hochalm at 6 pm, it was still deserted, so we were quite disappointed and angry that you treated hotel guests in the restaurant like that. We could have had a nice evening in the restaurant with a view of the slopes, especially as we did not stay long, some of the reservations were most likely only for later times. A goodbye or goodbye when leaving the restaurant from the staff unfortunately not. All in all, the chalet with a Jacuzzi was a nice night of a special kind, but we recommend to eat a foreign restaurant.
Hello, I was a guest there myself at the weekend. First the commendable one. The rooms are ok and clean, but that's what you would expect from a four star hotel. The cleaning staff, sorry I can understand, because the conditions are difficult, tried everything. Although we saw strange hair in the bathroom upon arrival, and not because we were looking, no, you were obviously in the shower. Now comes all the negative. No booked appointment worked. Everything would have to be corrected and even on arrival the date for the booked meal was not correct. After consulting the reception, it worked on site. My booked massage appointments have also been postponed. The staff who are responsible for the restaurant were completely overwhelmed. I myself overheard a conversation that one of the two employees said to a guest, how can you do that with two people. Now for the meal, the breakfast buffet was okay, if you as a guest can hide the fact that you were very much under observation by these two people because you assigned yourself a seat after waiting 10 minutes for the assignment. The food in the evening was almost everything cold, although one knows the reason according to claim. The selection of the buffet was rich in side dishes, although a lot of canned food. The choice of meat was beef and the fish, although I thought it was turkey, because there is no declaration. In my booking it said menu or buffet. When you arrive at the restaurant, the staff is overwhelmed and please help yourself at the buffet. And the taste between price and performance leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know if you bought all of the good reviews, but I definitely bought a lot of them. Because there needs a lot of improvement for the price I paid and also after talking to some guests. I paid for a four star wellness hotel with good food, got good rooms and the rest was for the A ....
Excellent place to visit, stay with staff so helpful. Rooms are amazing. Local by car to Dusseldorf. Has mini golf, kids area for playing. Amazing restaurants. Definitely worth staying at if not visit.
Ski hall itself very nice. Hotel nice, but staff very inflexible and not friendly / service-oriented, especially for 4-star ... Despite reservation in the restaurant seeeeehr long waits (over an hour). At the starter More
Your staff is nice and courteous. The house is beautiful and the tree chalets are very attractive.
But, since I'm a specialist, I definitely expect more service for the price we paid.
When booking, it was pointed out that it was the day of our wedding. There weren't even any congratulations. The way to the chalet was only explained to us, we had to bring our luggage there ourselves. There was no information about the whirlpool. The breakfast buffet was very good ...
It may be a high level gripe for you - I expect more for the price.
Great great hotel. I felt like on the mountain pasture. Great food and great friendly staff. We booked it for a trade show weekend. Good traffic connection there. We will be back.
It really is one of the best places I have been in for a long time. The concept Ski / Austria is completely implemented. Room incredible, food and breakfast great. Great service. View while eating, bar and breakfast in the ski hall. Gladly again.
I recommend 100% weiter.Ob young or old! The hotel is just so lovingly and nicely designed! The service, the food and all adjoining location were just great. We also had a great offer! Thanks for the great weekend we have You were allowed to spend!
Really one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in so far. The rooms are just a dream and incredibly comfortable. I felt good immediately. In addition, the service is really extremely friendly and helpful. I will gladly come back.
The hotel offers plenty of opportunities to stay, from the classic hotel room to a tree house, as well as very good food and many activities, so you can relax in the sauna or in the climbing park, on the mini golf course or in the adjacent ski hall.
I like the hotel, it's always fun to stay here when I'm in Neuss. The front desk staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. WiFi works perfectly. My world is fine here
In my opinion one of the nicest and best hotels I have ever visited. The suite was beautiful and the furniture was very chic and perfectly chosen. The processed wood and the warm colors have ensured that you feel at home and secure and that an unbelievable cosiness is radiated. The customer service was excellent. The staff did everything to make you feel comfortable and always had a nice smile and friendly words on their lips.
We spent one night in the tree house chalet with a jacuzzi on the terrace. The accommodation was modern and super nice. The leisure activities (Alm Golf, climbing park ...) are also very good for a short stay. We decided on a round of golf - varied and very nicely laid out. We also liked the gastro in terms of quality and ambience. Friendly service and delicious food and drinks.
Helpful staff that has, for example, a forgotten toothbrush replacement. The breakfast is delicious and suitable for people of all ages! There are rolls, croissants, even cakes. You will also find fresh orange juice, coffee, a honeycomb, 6 jams, egg, cereal, ... The fears are clean and in the bathroom there is shampoo and a Bodylution. Among other things, there are 3 saunas with 2 showers in a small cave, an ice hole and a small fitness center
Excellent place for some snow sports and good food. Nice place to relax. Also has lot of conference rooms and several companies hold their meetings here.
Great Hotel! Ambience perfect, food from breakfast to the grill buffet perfect! (Orange juice from the machine that freshly squeezes oranges, my highlight!) Room clean, bathroom clean. The only exception for me: I discovered silver fish, but it cannot be completely prevented. A big plus point is the staff: always trying hard, always friendly, and without exception!
Unique selling proposition: The view of the pack of people exercising in the ski hall from the restaurant and conference rooms.
Very nice, alpine hotel. The tree house chalets are highly recommended. The breakfast was rich, fresh and looked after by a good service. Overall, I pull off a star, it's a bit overpriced.
The hotel deserves its 4 stars. The rooms are well equipped. The beds had the right mattress for me. The bathroom is spacious. The cleanliness of the room is respected. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The food is good and the buffet offers a large selection.
We had a wellness chalet for one night, which was very nice. We liked the ambience. The staff in the Hochalm restaurant was nice but totally overwhelmed. There was a lot of staff around, but somehow nobody was responsible for us, it was always said my colleague would come. We reserved a table with a view of the slopes and got it, you don't need to think about togetherness as the neighbor is sitting right next to you. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. The breakfast was very good and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely come back again.
After Christmas, I gave my sweetheart an overnight stay at the Fire & Ice in Neuss. After we visited the ski hall, we checked in at the hotel, this was easily a little earlier than the official Check. In time possible. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. In our room two small Christmas presents, which were part of the Arragements were waiting, as well as a plate with all sorts of Christmas treats (apples, tangerines, nuts, cinnamon stars, chocolate balls ...). Unfortunately, I can not say if the plate stood in each room or also belonged to the Arragement. After we had relaxed for a while in the room, we visited around 6 pm the spa. Here you first pass the fitness area, which is quite small but hardly visited. There are various cardio machines (each 1x) and a multifunction machine and free weights for strength training. Directly behind is the changing room area with toilets and lockable lockers (for this you need 1 deposit!). From there you get into a kind of lounge room with seating and free water, from which the sauna area and a relaxation room go off. The sauna area has a shower grotto with ice dispenser, a steam sauna, as well as a Finnish and a bio sauna. From the two proper saunas, you can watch the action in the ski hall. A very entertaining idea, unfortunately, the windows are very small. The wellness area was very quiet and clean, so highly recommended.
Also included in our arrangement was a 4-course menu in the Hochalm. This is located in or at the ski hall and was accordingly very well visited during the holiday season. With our booking but a table was reserved, so no problem. The table was quite wide so we were sitting pretty far apart. You got used to it, but there were clearly nicer seats. The fact that I am a vegetarian did not pose much difficulty with the menu and we were able to choose within a certain frame that we wanted. All four courses have tasted very good, price is the store in view of our bill (we had to pay only drinks themselves) certainly not the cheapest, which personally surprised me but not particularly, after all, the gastronomy is connected to the ski hall. We both did not sleep well, which was probably due to the very thick blankets. They were very cuddly, to sleep but then a bit too warm for our taste. The next morning we visited the breakfast buffet, the selection was sufficient and there was one or the other "special", for example an orange juicer (unfortunately not filled with us), ham for self-cutting piece or a honeycomb. Overall, we were satisfied here, for a 4-star S-Hotel, but not really outstanding.
Conclusion: The hotel is well worth a visit with its wellness area and the food and the value for money is ok, but could be a bit better here and there.
We were received very polite and courteous through and through. The staff was really friendly and helped us in everything if we had questions. The wellness area was enough to switch off. For the athletes there is also a weight room, which is also sufficient to maintain his muscles. The food, as well as the room had been really great. We did not find anything in our time, where we could complain. Keep it up, we'll be back.
Although we live in Neuss ourselves we treat ourselves from time to time the suite in the hotel in the sauna in the room is. You can make a nice cozy weekend in such a suite with its own sauna, the attached Hochalm restaurant prepares magical food, from the breakfast area (very rich and leaves nothing to be desired) you can look at the ski slope
