The hotel has a great Austrian charm. The rooms are cozy and some have a bunk bed, like ours, which is of course an adventure for the children.
The breakfast buffet was delicious, there was a little bit of everything. The time slots also make it possible for guests to eat at a sufficient distance.
We ordered dinner every day in the in-house restaurant. The quality has fluctuated a lot. The kitchen staff was sometimes immensely overloaded. One evening we were there at 6 p.m. and at 9 p.m. we still had no dessert, so we canceled. Over the next two days an attempt was made to straighten the whole thing out by means of a buffet. However, the selection didn't convince us and we ordered from the menu. In addition, it was too expensive for a 7-year-old.
The price for the snack board is 5 euros more expensive on the invoice than on the menu. You have to be careful here. When I checked out I told the front desk about it. I would be happy if it was changed now.
Activities at the hotel include not only the ski hall, but also a climbing course, 2 mini golf courses and a playground.
In the immediate vicinity you can also experience a lot outside, where you can keep enough distance - Dormagener Tannenbusch, Knechtsteden Monastery, Zons, Bobbolandia playground (quite expensive and a bit old, you should spend the whole day there), Krefeld Zoo .
Finally, the Haribo factory outlet in Neuss should be mentioned, which offers a mega selection.
