Went for drinks at the lounge to grab some drinks with my friends...cute place. You do have to make reservation if you want a table if not you'll be standing around. Price were pretty average for a drink. $10-$20 a glass.
Had a great stay here. Right on Venice Beach! The rooms are modern, fresh and clean. The products in the shower were also a nice touch!
This hotel is in a great spot, with a great vibe and beautiful roof deck view. I would recommend my friends stay at this hotel and walk to the neighboring restaurants to eat in Venice.

Bartenders don't seem to understand how to properly bartend. Someone should not have to reach all the way across the bar to get the drink they paid for.
Prices are crazy for what you get also.
If you want a view of Venice Beach and don't care about any form of acceptable service then this is your place.

Rooftop bar is the highlight, very busy at sunset. Clean rooms and nice food in the restaurant, and one of the best breakfasts I've had!
The reason to go here, if you're not staying at the hotel, is to enjoy the view of the beach from the rooftop bar, especially at sunset. You probably need to make a reservation if you want a table, that's what my friends and I did anyway. The rest is pretty unremarkable, besides the extraordinarily high prices: $16 cocktails that sound fancy but look and taste mediocre, $15 bar snacks (broken tortilla chips probably poured out of a bag accompanied by an insufficient account of guacamole). Service was also in the realm of just ok to bad.
I liked my stay a lot. They should have a toothbrush kit and comb
Great hotel! I had a nice room on the 5th floor with Ana amazing beach view. Unfortunately, I didn't get lucky with weather but, luckily, my hotel room was a nice place to hunker down to do some work. Highly recommend!

The location is perfect ,our girls loved the quick walk to the beach and when you are done with the beach or shopping up and down the walk. back in the room you can just set on the balcony enjoying the cool breeze that brings the relaxing fragrance of the pacific ocean.
Another great spot after a long morning at the beach was to relax at the High top bar on the roof with a nice cocktail and some street tacos plus sliders and you can't forget the guacamole .

Came for drinks and to watch the sun set. The atmosphere was great and the loactionbwas beautiful. There was a long line at the bar which should be fixed or improved. They had blankets available as well which was nice.
Great view, best time to get to the roof top lounge right before sunset. Better on summer days as during the fall/winter time, the wind kicks in and get nippy up there. Other than that drinks were on point and staff was amazing.

Fantastic hotel I did not stay in it because it was complete but while I was waiting for a room in a nearby apartment, I could leave my bags in their luggage for a reasonable price and take the opportunity to discover the area. Excellent location.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel, rooms are roomy and have character even though some things looked dated. Right by the beach so that makes up for anything else. Highly recommend.
Great location. Room was very nice and spacious and comfortable and clean. I also really liked the unique artsy design of the hotel rooms. My only complaint is that the showerhead could only shoot out like 3 streams of water so it took a long time to properly shower.

Overall a decent overnight stay for work. Comfortable bed, prompt and polite staff. Sad the room didn't have a tub and shower was weak. They have breakfast til 11am!

Not one complaint staying here! Staff is wonderful and location is perfect. High rooftop lounge has great apps and drinks. The view is picture perfect from all sides and they even offer blankets if it s a little chilly. Breakfast was delicious too! Will def stay here again!

Stayed here twice now, on the 2nd time got a room upgrade due to joining the Joy of Life Club. Venice might not be for everyone and add I have only stayed on the 6th floor can't comment on the other rooms. The service has both times to me been excellent. As always in the USA you need to check WI-FI charges and parking charges.

Although my niece and I checked in very late, the customer service was excellent. Our room was very neat and it had an artsy feel to it. The bathroom was on the small side. I liked the room. The next morning you could see some of Venice beach from the window. I would recommend this place to others for a place to go. Customer service checking out was quick. Only be careful of parking. They offer valet parking or else it's street parking. Valet parking was $46 in the end.
Door greeters and manager and others told me to check my bag 2 blocks away at some bike rental place that ended up not being available. All I asked for was to pay for them to watch my bags for 2 hours at the hotel so I could have a drink or two at rooftop deck in same hotel at 5pm before heading to airport. Reason for 2 stars and not 1? They were polite about telling me to get lost.
Amazing hotel all around. From the minute we walked in, Moed went above and beyond to welcome us. And Melina was so awesome and accommodating. I booked our reservations for the Rooftop lounge on the wrong day. She remembered us as guests who where staying at the hotel for our anniversary and was able to get us a private table for two right up front so we can watch the sunset . Every single staff member we met was awesome. From housekeeping, room service, front desk, Valet, maintenance they all where very friendly and went out of their way to greet us and make us feel welcome. We took advantage of the free bikes available and rode to the Santa Monica pier and the promenade. The rooms where spotless & Bed was perfectly comfortable for us. We will absolutely be back sooner than later. We'll see you guy's soon! Thank you for a great experience. P.S food was also amazing our compliments to the chef!!

I was under the weather when staying there with my roommate. I requested another room and was upgraded for free to a suite to accommodate a separate room so I wouldn't get my roommate sick. A special thank you to Ian at the front desk for his support in making this happen in such short time. He even delivered the new room key to my existing room. Well above and beyond for service and a fantastic place to stay. Very highly recommend!!
Really cool spot in Venice with an amazing view of the beach and sunset. Lobster roll was fantastic and affordably priced during happy hour. Drinks are cheaper downstairs than they are upstairs during happy hour, so make sure you take advantage!

I can only review the rooftop bar as I have never stayed here. I love this hotel for the rooftop! It is one of the best places to take in the sunset over the Pacific Ocean,and if it gets too cold, you can use one of the blankets they provide for you.
You absolutely want to come here, if only to get a drink and enjoy the view!
Well, so far so good stay here. That was a great stay. Our hotel room was clean and has a very comfy bed. Very friendly and well accommodating front desk staff. Everything in this hotel was cool and great. Great job.

Planned our evening here on a Wednesday night. They have a rooftop restaurant and a lounge (Barlo) and we planned to do both. I called to make a reservation for 7PM and they said they didn t have that time but I would have no issues getting a table.
We arrive and they said the rooftop was closed due to weather. We are like what weather? It rained 3 hours ago but was perfectly sunny when we came. Likely didn t have the volume and closed it. So beware of that.
Then we asked where the lounge was. They said it was under construction. In the end, we walked 20 mins for nothing and missed having a nice spot to watch the sunset. Overall poor.
After staying here for 10 days, have to say it was one of the best hotel experiences and we have traveled worldwide. The staff were all so happy, professional and kind. The level of service is world class and the value for the money is amazing. Rooftop patio view of the Venice Beach coastline and large clean hotel rooms. Jillian was absolutely kind, sweet and personalable. And the best hotel desk staff we have ever encountered. The rest of the staff were not as social but oustanding with their level of service and attention to detail. We hope everyone gets a raise that works here or might not even need one since they must be paying their staff well and treating them well for all of them to be that incredible!

The staff here is the best I have ever experienced! My father in law has a disability and they were very accommodating, going so far as to go out and get things specifically to help him out around the hotel room. The view from the beach view suites and the rooftop bar are phenomenal! Rooms are very clean with full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. This is not a hotel with a refrigerator or complementary breakfast, but the restaurant in the lobby is worth paying for. You can get a microwave put in the hotel room if you request at the front desk. All in all a wonderful experience, staying at the hotel Erwin really adds a lot of life and relaxation to vacation!
I stayed here for five nights on a business trip. Loved room 606 which had a great view of the beach and was mid-hotel, making it a bit quieter than full beach view rooms which are directly under the bar. If you're sensitive to sound, stay on a lower floor. The front desk staff is friendly, WiFi is adequate for most business needs and it's just near so many attractions. I'd return.

This hotel is top-notch. It was my first visit. Miguel and Julian helped me get setup with an early check-in. Julian gave me a 6th floor room with a view of the beach. The location is perfect for jumping on the bike path, which great because this place also offers FREE BIKES! I didn't need to use an Uber/Lyft once while visiting because I could ride Erwin's bikes. If you're into amazing sunset views or night life spots with good looking people, hit the rooftop bar. Seriously great spot.
