Lovely place, the baby enjoyed looking at the animals. Food was okay. Would return

I think place is a bit of a hidden gem for younger children. Lots to do and see. I wouldn't recommend it for older children (8+) they may prefer a zoo or Safari Park.
What a great day out, will definitely go back. The kids absolutely loved it
Had a lovely day. A well thought out and child friendly place
Really fun day out, friendly staff, good selection of animals
Brilliant day out for a young family, and a brilliant option to return for free within a month included. The facilities for babies and toddlers are great, and great pucni. Indoor and outdoor options.
Wonderful!
Follow the programme of events (stroke a hedgehog, feed the deer etc.) Or wander round at your own pace and make friends with the animals. Good, simple meals available. A great day out for all ages.
A medium area that needs updating in places but the animals are cared for and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Loved the meerkat experience, staff are brilliant. Shame we went out of season, but we were informed of this before the visit.
Didn't inform us the farm itself was closed and no where did it state it when we booked the tickets for the experience.
Travels 3 hrs from Wales... Severely disappointed. And the talk was so quick and over so fast didn't really feel worth the money... Poor show!
Awesome place lovely animal's and staff but food is not great and very expensive. Will go again with a picnic next time.
Great place to take young kids - can see lemurs, meerkats, foxes, otters and more. Nice picnic areas and don't miss the sheep race!
First time visit very over priced for entry to just walk round a large area of mostly empty pens. Staff don't even look happy. Food was very over priced and same person serving our food took the money and at no point did she wash her hands, yet there are signs telling you to wash your hands. The area were you get your hot drinks from is just an accident waiting to happen. The gift shop come hot drinks come pay for your food and buy your gifts from was unrealistic prices. The only good thing about this place was the play areas. Will not visit again.
Its rundown old and a bit disappointing. Kids enjoyed. it bring own food it was overpriced cheap crappy food in small portions.
We bought the Meerkat experience for our daughters birthday and it was brilliant! Arron & Tori were very knowledgeable & were great hosts making the experience even better. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone.
The farm itself is geared up more for under 8's offering exposure to many animals & is just the right size for youngsters.
Being able to feed some of the animals is fun.
The sheep racing was hilarious the kids were amazed by it.
However the cafe food is a little on the expensive side.
All in all a great day out for the kids!
A little disappointed with this today it seemed that some areas were shabby and unkempt. The play park needed some TLC along with some other areas.
Thank you very much to everybody at Hoo Farm today, Sunday 28th April 2019.
Had a really fantastic time together with friends from our group called Autonomy. Its based in Shrewsbury and Telford
Would love to come again and was so lovely and the staff were friendly, approachable and helpful .
The signage was brilliant and was really lovely going around everywhere seeing all the animals etc.Not to mention the fun sheep run before left not long after for our journey home.Thankyou all once again and would love to come back again one day xx
Amazing day out for the price!! Cant wait to go back
Arrived for a 2pm meerkat experience..... amazing would recommend to anyone. Keepers knowledge fantastic and all very helpful. Park lovely and well set out wish had arrived earliest to see everything
Thankyou.
Great place for little ones, very chilled out and a nice easy walk about. Very pleased with the price
Brilliant friendly staff, lovely food. A great day exploring all the animals.
Great experience. Brilliant facilities. Lots to do. Our little girl thoroughly enjoyed it.
Realy enjoyed taking our Grandchildren to Hoo Farm. Lots to see, I think its much better then a zoo, much closer to the animals.
And animals I had not seen before.
Will definitely return.
Lovely place to get up close to an assortment of animals, from parrots to porcupines, sheep to servals, and llamas to lemurs. Two of our party we doing the 'animal experience' where they got to cuddle up with meerkats, stroke a serval, and More
Excellent for under 10s. Plenty of indoor play but also lots of animals.
Lovely experience with animal encounters even the bad weather didn't spoil it .
Very good display of animals and excellent staff. Looks a little tired but that might be the conditions the animals thrive in. Great day out for children.
Appalling customer service by the manager. Dont be fooled by the return offer. We returned today and was refused entry with our receipt. Absolutely no need for such a bad attitude. Too expensive for a petting farm. Go elsewhere. Shame on them.
Lovely little farm to spend a few hours at! Loads of animals to see and feed! The parrots were the best attraction as they would mimic the kids
I loved visiting here. The animals are well cared for and have lots of space to roam and many things for enrichment. The staff are wonderful and friendly and open to any questions you have. There's a small cafe and a gift shop. I'd recommend a visit, it's not that big so it's not overwhelming for small children.
Loads to see shops pricy especially for food but a great day out
Very enjoyable, huge venue, good value for money. Animals here you dont see in big mainstream zoo's.
Was pleasantly surprised at the number of animals they have now compared to when I last visited. A good couple of hours worth of visit
Lots to do was nice seeing all the animals, and the kids loves feeding them :)
We had a great time getting so close to the animals and to be able to hold a meercat was lovely would do it again
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this family owned farm, the meerkat experience was a gift but we'd definitely go back and have another experience with a different animal. The staff were informative and pleasant, the craft barn where we made sand art jars and dipped candles was run by a lovely staff member who was very helpful. Plenty of places for a picnic or enjoy the hot food, toilets were good and loads of sinks to wash hands in. The animals looked well cared for and healthy.
Kids loved this place. We'll priced for what you get and there was loads of chances to see different things with the animals. I'd recommend a picnic, as the food was expensive and not great.
Meerkat Experience was amazing! The staff were absolutely amazing.
Needs tidying up nature is nature but cobwebs in the cafe.. I half looks all nice and fresh the other half clearly 10 years old
Brilliant day. Loved Bear the Raccoon. Great day out for animal lovers Banana the skunk is cute too. :)
Nice zoo with a range of animals to see and you can feed some as well great fun
Nice day out for the kids. Free parking, nice staff
Not sure if we enjoyed it more than our 7yr old grandson! We spent about 5hours ..from playground to zoo to Maze to zipwire!
We did the animal experience with a wowcher coupon and stroked a big cat, meerkats and lemurs. Surprised at how many varied angles maps there were. Our keeper was fab she really enjoyed showing us the animals.
Just been on an animal experience at Hoo Farm and it was a great day out! Got access to the rest of the farm as well as being up close and handling animals in the Binturong experience!
Great place for the family. Nice big farm with plenty of animals. Some parts could do with updating like the crazy golf and playground.
Absolutely brilliant, loved being able to feed the animals
Loved the experience with the merkats!
Staff are very lovely and friendly as well, can't fault it!
This excellent value for money especially as u can visit again for free very well laid out with plenty of differ thing to do like stroke a snake and feed the ostriches much better than any farm I've been to before my daughter absolutely loved it very high recommend
Small enough to enjoy with enough to do to entertain for a few hours. Free entry for nhs and blue light staff with ID. Had a meal deal which was OK, and price wasn't too bad. Best bit for me....the snakes...only kidding!! No but feeding the Lama's and the goats was fun. Worth a visit.
Such a lovely place and a great day out for all ages. Good social distancing measures in place and hand washing measures
It is a great place for families. Well run with plenty of staff and lots to do.
Loved visiting today. Binturong experience was fantastic. Go visit them peeps.
We had lovely time my son loved all the animals all the staff was very nice and helpful will come back again
Lovely place...Loads to see...If the kid doesn't loose his patience :)
The meerkat experience was amazing, they were super friendly along with the other animals. Brilliant day out
Clean and nice but definitely more for younger kids. Took our 9 and 11 year old here and they where not all that impressed.
Brilliant , very friendly staff and hygiene is excellent .
Lots to do. Great place. I'd definitely go again. Ideal for yound and old.
Nice staff. The animal experience was excellent and Devon our guide very knowledgeable.. Would recommend for all ages
Loved this farm, great family fun and Santa was fantastic
A good visit with the grandchildren. A good range of animals and experience activities. Worth a visit.
amazing family out experience. you can buy food from shop and feed animals...
The meerkat experience was great.
The farm itself is great fun for all ages
Meerkat experience was fab, as was the whole pace. So much to see.
Great day out with my granddaughters and great grandson
Excellent place, friendly staff, we had the lemur meercats and serval experience and it was great, Devon was friendly and very helpful and informative! Will be going back
Very good for families but food expensive, take your own picnic.
