Menu: American, Indian, seafood & Italian choices. Priced to accommodate ANY wallet. Wait staff attentive. Cozy dining. ALL comedians were funny. They were arranged "progressively better". Decent drinks average NY prices.

Cabaret style seating in very intimate setting. No heckling allowed...which is great because I went to see the comedians and not rude audience. Nice bar upstairs where the line-up hangs out before and after. Had a great time and laughed even after my face hurt...it was that good. No "stars" popped in as teased, but didn't matter: was highly entertaining.

So I just got back from The Stand's two year anniversary, and it could have been the worst show I've been to in a long time.

I get it. I get that the guys were celebrating an anniversary, but it was at the cost of the customer. Half the audience left because either the comics were too drunk, or because they walked off stage because of a few women in the front row who wouldn't stop talking. Nothing was done about it, and I wish I left earlier.

I understand that they wanted to celebrate, but I won't come back, there are too many other comedy clubs in NYC.

Great club, very intimate. Staff are very friendly and drinks prices are reasonable. Acoustics around the stage are great and the ticket for a week night show is very good value. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent; however the service was rather bad. We had to ask for water several times, refills several times, we never received the ice we asked for, we had to ask for utensils after the food was brought out and we received only two napkins for a party of four. The staff was nice and polite but just missing all of those basic things was a little troubling.

This is a perfect date place. The food and drinks are amazing and the show we saw was very entertaining. The venue feels cozy but that made it more fun in my opinion. Everyone was there for a good time. It can be a little pricey for dinner and a show but I intend to check out their weekday show and see how it compares. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

I loved the older spot but the new lives up to the hype. The staff is was also extremely supportive to the customer's experience.
I highly recommend this as a place to feed your belly and a place to feed your mind.

Incredible place. They book the best comics, have awesome food and drinks with very fair prices. Very edgy, they are a house for talent and keep integrity that transcends into the venue and the shows.

The food and drinks were great, as was the service. I know comedians rotate but we never stopped laughing the entire night. I haven't been to the city a lot, but I loved that the comedy club was downstairs and a beautiful bar was upstairs.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. The venue was small but intimate. I went to a stand-up show where hot topics, sex, relationships, and dating were avoided, so it wasn't that funny but still fun

one of my favorite comedy joints in the city. An easy going small venue with solid acts result in good times all around. Been back about half a dozen times and will continue to frequent as they continue to provide top bar service. Prices are average->below average for nyc and the food is great, highly recommended.

Food is excellent, especially anything with the pretzel bread. Waffle fries are served in generous portions. Creative and tasty cocktails and great beer selection. Service is always prompt and friendly.

Great stand-up comedy joint with some hilarious performers. I've been a couple time for brunch since the food is absolutely amazing (boozy brunch option as well) and recently did the brunch / comedy show combination which was also a great idea. The chicken and waffles brunch option is very delicious.

Cozy setting, excellent line up of comedians, easy to get tickets, very affordable. Tried Carolina's but it was sold out. The Stand was a second choice, but turned out to be an excellent one.

This was excellent value for money! On a Monday night they have free shows, so we booked our seats in advance of our trip. The bar area is small but the drinks are not too expensive. Once we were seated the staff were very good at coming round to take orders. A warning!! If you don't want to sit at the front, don't be first in the que to go down to be seated. And when I say the front, the tables are practically on the stage! The host was excellent and had great crowd interaction, he wasn't mean but be prepared to handle a joke! We hadn't expected so many comedians which meant there was something for all senses of humour. The only problem is the whole showcase is about 2 and half hours long with no interval so by the end I felt like I didn't appreciate the last two comedians as I was starting to lose interest a bit. Other than that I would really recommend this place for a visit.

The Stand has quickly become my favorite place to catch a comedy show. Last time I was there to catch the free show I got a bucket of beers and a delicious shroom burger. The night got really great when one of my all time favorite comics Jim Gaffigan popped in to do a set.

Been coming here ever since I could remember & as long as I remember I always remember Sundays after church is the busiest time to visit!

However, I must say that no matter how busy it is here the service is never bad. It does take a while to be seated but once you are seated the waitresses are so bice, attentive and quick to get you everything you want.

The food is ALWAYS good, I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've ordered. As old as I am I still order the silver 5 off the kids menu it is so delicious! The cornbeef hash is pretty delicious and well its not a trip to IHOP without hot chocolate with whipped cream.

The Stand is a great spot for dinner or drinks and a show. Their food is excellent (have the rock shrimp) and the drinks are good and strong. You won't be disappointed. Make sure you make reservations if you want to see a show - it sells out! - and you do, trust me. The comedy here is surprisingly top notch. All in all it's a wonderful night out and I've never once regretted coming here.

This place was very chill. I loved how much space there was inside and the best part about this is that there was bottomless mimosas! Such a great deal in Manhattan. The service was awesome and the food was delish! All in one great spot for brunch!

Tried this place yesterday for brunch after hearing rave reviews from friends. The food was amazing and the staff was attentive and courteous the entire time. The manager Christos was outstanding and is truly an asset to this establishment. If you're not a fan of buffet style brunch, then definitely try this out, you won't be disappointed.

I went there 3 times and the fourth time i went which was yesterday they welcomed themselves to creating a separate check for 11 dollars after I left and now im disputing it with my bank and im going to file a lawsuit. They stole my money and i didn't authorize them to go in my acct and take a tip. They tried to be sneaky. Then i call and a host name Jessica said she didn't know about it which she did cause she charged the card. Never again will i go there again.

Didn't not attend during the comedy show. Came here for a Sunday afternoon brunch.

The food was decent. Had the Breakfast Tater Tots. More of a boozy brunch type of environment.

Our waiter was great.

Came for brunch, and it was one of the better meals I ve had here in NYC, which is saying a lot cause I eat out often. I had the Full NYC Breakfast, which I highly recommend. It was incredible. The service was also great and the restaurant has a really solid atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

The Stand is one of my favorite places in Gramercy. They showcase fantastic comedians and employ a truly phenomenal staff. They also have some sinfully delicious food options in the event you don't have time to eat prior to the show.

I have been going regularly since July 2015, and it's had quite a positive impact on my life. For those that have been living under a rock and aren't aware, laughter is a great way to de-stress; working/living in NYC and stress go hand in hand, so discovering this neighborhood gem has been a true blessing.

If you have any reservations, you can and should check out Aaron Berg's 10pm "Frantic Monday" show, which is free (you have nothing to lose!).

Even if you can't make the free show, tickets are generally $15-25, and there isn't a drink minimum. I also recommend keeping an eye on their social media feeds for discounts on tickets!

Lastly: if you're shy, it's probably best not to sit in the front row; don't say I didn't warn you!

I m not sure that food and comedy go together. I d recommend eating between the acts just in case you choke laughing. This place is a must visit experience when visiting NYC! Simply the best!

I came here for dinner one night with an friend. She had been here several times but never for dinner so, we thought we would give it a try. Our waiter was super friendly and funny. He came and checked up on us every 10 minutes to make sure everything was okay.

I had the shrimp tempura was really delicious. I also had the crab sandwich which was okay, it was a bit dry but I did like the pretzel bun. My friend got the daily specials which she loved. She got the mashed potatoes which was soo good she ordered a second one to go. And she also got a steak dish which she enjoyed but she said she had better.

We also got the fondue dessert which was okay. It would have been better if cookies and marshmallows were not burnt so badly that all you can taste is char.

Overall, I would visit again but to try the much raved about brunch menu.

The Stand Has become the Mecca of stand up comedy. I flew across the country for a weekend just to make my pilgrimage. The line up was just amazing Tracy Morgan, Ted Alexandro, Dan St Germain, Ben Bailey And Christian Finnegan. That was just the first night. The food and the drinks were great. It is now becoming my annual tradition. I hope Ari plays next year when I make my next trip.

Great stand up show.

Great stand up show.
It's at the same level as Comedy Cellar.
Comfy but spacious place. Definitely recommend.
