We came here for my friends birthday and it was a cute day out. I would highly recommend bringing a packed lunch because they don't offer much in terms of food. There isn't loads to see, but what they do have is lovely. There is a lot of stuff catered more for smaller children. They have some nice bits to walk around and plenty of places to sit if you do wish to have a picnic.

Lovely place to visit with a great variety of animals. Wonderful staff who really care about their animals, with a number of them being rescued. A family-run park that is well-deserved of a visit by anyone who loves wildlife.
We did one of the animal experience visits which again, I would thoroughly recommend!

Animals are great, there's loads to feed and see. The toddler room is good but the outdoor areas near the restaurant are not looked after like the basketball court which is a slippery mess. The jacket potatoes are good but steer clear of the burgers.

Choice of food pretty limited unless you bring your own or like chips. So much potential to do food like park hall farm.

Lovely small zoo with amazing animal encounters. I tried the binturong/raccoon/ possom encounter as well as the lemurs/meerkat/serval one. Both encounters were great, allowing you to get really close to the animals, even stroking and feeding them. Got some great photos too. The zoo keepers were friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

This rating is based on a winter visit. It was a bit disappointing. We really enjoyed the Santa visit - we had 3 children so had a nice long slot. The lady elf was excellent and really played the part perfectly.

Our summer visit was a 4/5 rating and we won't be deterred from going back.

Sorry to the staff who are doing their best but Hoo Farm has seen better days. It's rather run down and sorely in need of general maintenance. The cafe is very poor quality and very expensive. There is quite a lot of different stuff here but feels like they could half the amount and try to successfully maintain the rest. The shouty red signs telling you what not to do everywhere didn't help. The range of animals is decent. The cages seemed quite small in places but I don't know anything about keeping animals happy so quite possible they are all well cared for.

We had s great time here today - good social distancing measure in place and entry of places to wash your hand. Our son loved looking at the animals and especially likes the "meet an animal" events in the activity barn and watching the animals being fed.

A fabulous gem of a place. So many species of animals. Like a mini zoo! Kids park is brilliant with a sand pit undercover, climbing frames, swings, zip line. Great picnic area. Lots of hand wash stations and hand gel. Friendly staff. Animals all look happy and loved. The otters, lemurs, meerkats & bintourong are some of our favourites. Lemur walk is really well done and so amazing to get close to them, along with peacocks and chicken loose in there too. Sensory area in the woods is great. Plenty of gifts and toys in the shop and a great selection of ice creams.

Lovely animal encounter experience here today. Massive thank you to Aaron who made the experience amazing! Spent time with meerkats, serval and lemurs,All stroking them and feeding the lemurs. The animals are well cared for and you can see they have a great relationship with the keepers. Definitely worth the money for the experience.

We visited as a family for a Meerkat experience which was very enjoyable. The animals were very comfortable with human contact and climbed onto our shoulders and one curled up in my lap and went to sleep. The hour went by very quickly but we did not feel rushed. Aran, Alison and Jono were very informative and seem to really enjoy their work with the animals. We would certainly recommend the Meerkat experience

Really good experience, met python, owl, foxes, serval. I had a really good time with my friend, all the staff friendly and helpful. Aaron showed us around, very knowledgeable and informative, excellent guide. The place looks small from the start but there is a wide variety of animals and a lot to see.

This was my second visit to Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom and my friend's first. We booked the 3 hour animal keeper experience, which I cannot fault. Devon was our guide, clearly she is passionate about all creatures and her passion and knowledge made the experience measurably more worthwhile. There were six in our group, so we all had plenty of time for animal encounters. My friend had a phobia about big snakes, but to her credit she was first up to handle the reticulated python and she would do it again - job done! The animals, birds and reptiles showed no phobia of humans and I would say that all who took part had a thoroughly great time.

Absolutely wonderful! Went for the Binturong experience, got to meet a raccoon and raccoon dogs. The place is clean, tidy, green. Animals look healthy and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend

My 3 year old loved it. She liked feeding the sheep, the geese, meerkat etc. It was a shame many animals weren't out, or to be seen in fairness! Many enclosures seemed empty. I think better lighting in the reptile house would be a good idea, I struggled to see many animals and the toddler lost interest! It's great to see a small, local business growing like this. You can see how much time, effort and love goes into the place. The animals looked in good condition. The picnic and play area is brilliant.

Had been taking my kids here for years. Lots of space for them to run around. There used to be trampolines and indoor play area. Lots of animals. Not sure now as haven't been for a while as they are growing up :(

Where to start,The overall view is average it seems there is a lot of neglect towards the animals enclosure's.....The reptile house was very dirty with glass that is so dirty inside and out that it is hard to see the snakes ect and the outside caged enclosure's are so overgrown it obstructs the movement of the animals, more needs to be done towards cleaning and maintenance....

Went for the first time today for a Meerkat experience. Got to say it s such a lovely place to visit! The experience was amazing and the staff are so attentive and friendly. The animals are so well looked after and the kangaroo trail is so nice to walk through. Would recommend to anyone. Great price for standard admission too.

Level the place and build something that's worth the cost of fuel to get there never mind the cost of entry,
If your 3 or less you might find it interesting for half an hour otherwise don't bother!

Took my 3 year old and 9 month old and there was plenty to keep them both entertained. My daughter loves animals and the meet the snake was her favourite. She loved feeding the animals too and there are lots of hand washing stations. The walks are great as you can get close to the animals. I looked at getting an animal encounter but unfortunately they are age 5 plus so will be something for a couple of years time. We had lunch which was lovely and reasonably priced. Gift shop is expensive but most places are so expected it really

Nothing much to see, animals are not take cared of properly, very boring place, staff is ok but nothing extra, Food place is expensive and not much food choice. Would not recommend this place at all.

We visited yesterday , and were having a nice time seeing all the different animals . We sat in the childs play area and went to drink our tea we,d just bought , and unfortunatley my little niece grabbed the cup of tea , and it spilt on her leg . Someone kindly quickly went to reception and with in seconds a first aid lady came and started putting cold gauze and bandaged my nieces leg . Thankyou soo much to the lady and her quick actions .

Went on an animal experience. Keeper, Aaron, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and made the whole experience a privilege to be on the other side of the bars with the racoon, possum and binturong. Excellent!

Bargain via wowcher. Really enjoyed the day and nearing the animals. Staff are very knowledgeable and eager to share that knowledge. We plan to take our grandchildren. I would really recommend it for a day out. Take lunch though or check that the tea room is open. It was closed the day we went not much selection of snacks in the fridge.

Great place for the kids, if a little run down in places but lots of animals to see, pet and feed. Not a huge place but that does mean even at kids pace you can fit it all into a day. Nice spots for picnics and don't miss Wallaby Wood!
