The pre-owned vehicle we bought has all the features we were looking for and at a reasonable price so we did not mind driving for two hours to get there. LInda Soto answered all my questions beforehand and informed me about the vehicle on the day we set out to see it. The vehicle was not there when we arrived and Ken Laing kindly told us to have lunch first - on Honda - and he'd make sure the vehicle was available when we get back. Ken was very helpful - he accommodated our requests and answered all our questions. We also appreciated the quick tutorial to explain the basic features of the CRV. Overall, we are happy with the service and the friendly staff.

This was our second time buying a car from Honda of Joliet. We were very pleased with our experience! Alexis E, part of the internet sales department, helped us and she was awesome! I've never worked with a female when buying a car, and I must say, it was so refreshing. She listened to my needs, was not pushy in any way, and was so kind and respectful. I closed a deal on a brand new lease today after a week of back and forth conversation with Shahera Boyd. After my first online inquiry we casually texted throughout the week when I needed additional information. The no pressure style was incredible. Where most dealerships call and call and leave voice mails daily until you are annoyed, Shahera was abundantly helpful without being pushy. She really made me feel comfortable with the process. Little did I know, lightning would strike twice when she had me meet with Nelson Caban. I could not of asked for a better experience. Mr. Caban was knowledgeable, professional yet casual and made the entire process enjoyable. We were laughing and joking throughout the process. (Francis!!) I almost had more fun going through the process than actually leaving with the car. What other dealership can you say that about?! My most genuine advice to anyone reading this, you will do yourself a huge disservice if you do not work with Shahera and Nelson. Honestly, stop dealing with any other dealership, these two are your rock stars. Honda of Joliet is lucky to employ these two exemplary individuals. Get in touch with them, you deserve it.

I went to purchase a car late on a Saturday. They could not have been more accommodating. They got me through the process quickly but without making me feel rushed. They also did not pressure me into purchasing products I did not want. The salesperson, Hardy, was excellent. He was professional, friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable.

The service department is awesome, have been going here for a while for my wife's Honda. They helped me out with an issue caused by the Chrysler service team, will be bringing both cars here now

There is nothing wrong with the Honda of Joliet; in fact it is my go-to place in anything that deals with cars. Currently my family has 3 Hondas, and plenty of retired ones under our belt, whom all have been worked on at the dealership. Everyone there treats you with the utmost respect and they look forward to helping/serving you. They always get their work done right the first time, so the only reason to come back is to make another purchase or just to stop by and visit with the friendly staff. The overall experience is very satisfying, I know I put myself and my family into their hands and trust them 100% with me and my family s well being. In regards to the price, they always have good deals running saving you your hard earned money. And when the deals don t cut, you can always use one the coupons they always seems to have. I bought a 2018 honda civic here a few weeks ago. I got a fair price, but had a little difficulty negotiating. No biggie tho. However, I was promised 2 years of free oil changes(4 coupons total) and still have not received them. At the time I was told that they were simply out of them, and they would let me know as soon as they came in. It has been 3 weeks, and I've called twice. I still have not received these oil change vouchers. I kinda feel swindled a bit because that was their way of keeping my business rather than me going elsewhere. I don't want to call again because I shouldn't have to. This dealer would get 5 stars if it wasn't for that.

Luis segundo was amazing! He made my first car purchase an overall enjoyable experience. There was no hassle. Everything was cut and dry. He took the time to explain everything to me, and with that he made choosing the right vehicle for me an easy choice.

I have bought several cars here. Decent sales and service. However, the sales is always a mixed bag. Unfortunately, the car industry likes the haggle approach to car buying. You will get the standard, "let me talk to my manager and see if we can get you a good deal" approach here. Really very insulting.

We just bought a 2016 Honda CR-V. Rob Shepardson was very helpful to find a right car with the options and colors we wanted. One of the best car buying experience we've ever had. We would definitely recommend Rob to anybody.

After looking at a few of their used cars, I decided to take a test drive and talk to one of their Sales guys, Jake. He was great! Super nice guy and worked with me well. Once I decided on a 2013 Honda Fit, I pursued more conversation and began with the negotiating. This is where things turned less pleasant.
Jake continued to be a nice guy and was great. Sadly, the decision was that they could not move on the price they listed whatsoever. I was really looking for them to budge at all, so Jake went and got a sales manager Patrick (I believe that was his name). Patrick was very unpleasant. Not sure if his usual sales tactic is to be rude, but that is what he was. He kept talking to my uncle, who was with me, even though he was not buying the car. He undermined me the whole conversation and made me feel like he was not being helpful at all. His demeanor was to the point and was unnecessarily "firm." I know that sales people don't actually look out for the customer when it comes to money, but they should at least hide it better.
Overall, Jake was the most pleasant to deal with during this experience, along with Brian who was another sales guy I worked with. I have a lingering feeling that I shouldn't have bought this car solely based on my experience with Patrick. He honestly almost made me walk, but I wanted the car more than I wanted to spite him.

I recently purchased a Honda Odyssey from Honda of Joliet and love it! I worked with Josh Tornabeni within the dealership and Jennifer Medina from internet sales and they both were amazing! They worked very hard on helping me achieve where I wanted to be at budget wise and have incredible patience. And John Wise (general manager) was very helpful in getting me a great trade in value as well. Josh and Jen were the best people to work with that you could ask for when purchasing a vehicle and were very personable! The Customer Service there is outstanding! I recently purchased a new Honda Odyssey Elite from Honda of Joliet. I couldn't be happier. I spent a lot of time doing my homework on this vehicle and on this dealership. The reason I decided to choose this dealership was because of their large inventory and internet prices. I've been a long time owner of many honda vehicles and find them to be the best vehicle on the market. I've never been to this dealership before, but the minute my wife and I walked in the door we were greeted by a salesman by the name of Mike Poulos. He treated us like family. Been doing business with this location since 1990 and I wouldn t go anywhere else. Sales people are great, mechanics do a good job always, the owners are the best they want everything to go smoothly. Once you buy your car you are not just turned over the service department to fend for yourself if there is a problem which I will add rarely ever is. These people and staff are the best.

12/13/2019 (4 Stars) Honda of Joliet has turned things around. Yes it took several hours to get a lease completed for my girlfriends vehicle lease swap but it was the eleventh hour, end of the day, on the last day of the month and the dealership was busy so I am not complaining. To follow up on my original review from roughly a year ago when it took 2 hours to complete a simple oil change with an appointment set up well in advance was absolutely ridiculous. Well last week on short notice this time I set up my oil change and also needed some touch up on my paint. This time I was in and out in under 40 minutes. I would like to give special thanks to Eddie, John and Rudy for making this round of leasing another great Honda vehicle and extremely important to me the swift service provided on my Honda which is another fine machine! Thank you

Old Review (3 Stars) Extremely SLOW service department. Oil change with an appointment takes at least 2 hours EVEN with an appointment well in advance.

My wife and I came to Honda of Joliet in need of a car in a timely manner and terrible totaling a vehicle. We were helped tremendously by Brian Krakowski, who spent a large amount to of time trying to find us the best deal on a vehicle, and for a payment and fit that works for our family. He even helped us in returning our rental and helped my wife install 3(!) into the CRV while I corralled the kids. The hospitality he showed us, as well as the kindness shown by their entire staff during our time there, was tremendous. I have no doubt we will be back when we are in search of a vehicle.

Been there for a week and a half, have received leads that took me nowhere, didn't get any sales on the board, and because of that I get let go? Invest in better leads and I would have had people in the door like crazy and about 15 cars within the time I've been there. John King was awesome and thank you Demetrius for getting me in at least!! To my ex-coworkers in the bdc internet sales dept thank you for the tips you have given me and the help! Rock on get them sales you got this!! To begin with, Honda is the best car to get when you want to save money and drive in style. Best car make. When I arrived here, Eddie noticed me and my father in law when we walked in. He was very professional, friendly, respectable, humble, knowledgeable, respectful, fun personality etc. Eddie is very fluent in Spanish. Being bilingual helped a lot! I felt very confident that I was going to drive back home with a new car with Eddies help... and I did! (That night I didn't due to how late to get the bank's approval, so they let me rent a nice Civic as a rental car... thanks so much guys!!!) I got a 2019 Honda Civic Sport by trading in my car that was crashed with many miles on it. Even with the negative equity, I still loved how I was treated like family and not just the typical client. Every employee offered me water and anything I need. Eddie was just phenomenal though. He knew how to help with anything. The fact that he's patient, friendly, and caring made me feel special. I definitely recommend friends and family to get Eddie to sale them a car because Eddie will make them happy with a used or new car. Called about a car and told me it was there and the had just touched it but then when I drove over a hour to see it they sold it the day before. They are full of b.s. then they tried moving me to a much more expensive car.

Justin Magee was an excellent salesman, not pushy at all. Worked with us to try and get us a good deal on our 19 odyssey. Even with not buying right away, didnt get constant phone calls like at other dealers. I'd recommend this dealer to anyone looking g for a good deal and great personalities. Only negative thing was the lack of effort on the detailing of a new car.

On January 21st my front license plate fell off.
My fault, at work it got caught on the three wire parking lane divider. The two plates fell off, the license plate and the Honda frame. I went to Honda of Joliet walk towards the service department to ask about the service. Before I got there inside again the Super Hero Ted Turrisi crossed my path. Yes the real Hero of Honda of Joliet. Again, with Superior Service from Ted Terrisi the license plate back on the car in seconds. Ted said you're on your way.

In 2003, my son was in need of a car and was not able to obtain no help from any other auto dealer.
Until; I phoned Honda of Joliet and Ted Turrisi answered the phone and said lets give it a try. My son applied on line application for credit and to purchase a new car.

Then, Ted Terrisi called approved for new car.

He got it a brand new car below sticker price and 0.09% APR through Honda credit.

Upon arrival, Super Hero Ted Turrisi within seconds had son's car and paperwork done in seconds. Explaining and demonstrating the features of the car.

Upon arrival again, son needed upgrade of his 2003 Civic.
Again, Super Hero Ted Turrisi again new redesigned Honda Accord Sport 2018 new car. Top dollar on his trade and October 2017 the price for an Accord Sport under sticker for a 2018. Amazing deal!
