Nice and clean rooms. Some of the outlets in the room were damaged. What I believe was the overnight crew was pretty rude however when asking about early check in. I called 3 hours later and spoke to Dianne who was much friendlier and accommodating.

The beds are very comfortable and the service has very professional reception. The place may be a little harder to reach without a GPS from the boulevard separated by a median and you come from across the street. There is a lunch served in the mornings but you have to pay $ 11 US.

In, sleep, out... Easy as could be. Very very friendly. A touch overpriced. The mask protocol was mostly good. And I would have literally eaten off the bathroom floor it was all so clean!

It's a birthday weekend and I just checked in Hampton Inn because the suite I booked at holiday was not available when I arrived. I was placed along with my two children, nephew and teammates from my son's football team, in a none heat room. Ripped bed sheets. Lamp cracked, walls cracked and many drug users trafficking through the hotel.

I was so dissapointed - the room was so small, rolling bed had a yellow stain.
I have pictures. I will try to upload. But this was a horrific experience. Holiday Inn please train your staff. The security guard and receptionist had a major lack of responsiveness and customer service. Folks acted like they never seen Colored Folks. The energy in this hotel no Good. Not a place for folks that are accepting, open minded or civilized.

Good for what it is. If you're expecting a holiday Inn with good access to northern MA and Boston, that's it. Don't expect great views, a luxury area and spa treatment. But remember, that's why is isn't 500 a night either. A good bang for your buck that's clean and good for a cheap stay!

Toilets don't work properly, sinks need maintenance, shower curtain rods are covered in rust, elevator moves very slow, very bright light outside our window frequently turned on and off throughout the entire time we were here, NO free breakfast $11 (I thought all holiday inns had free breakfast), very slow internet, small tv's, doors need maintenance as well. Location is bad. It's located on a busy highway that is super tough to merge out on considering there is an exit very very close, so unless you're going to that exit you have to cross 2 lanes of 50mph traffic with very very few gaps since there are 0 stop lights on the road.

This hotel says it was newly renovated. I beg to differ. The rooms are terribly dirty. I was moved twice because the first room still had trash in it from the previous person and the bed looked as if someone had laid in it. The next room I was given was also dirty and the heat did not work. I would spend the extra couple dollars and go down the street.

The room was perfect. Our overall stay was fine in terms of the room and the cleaning staff was beyond friendly. The front desk...that's a whole other story. We had a few rude encounters from two different employees at the front desk. Not the end of the world, just a little refresher in hospitality for a few of the front desk staff is in order.

Other than that...the room was great. Pool area was clean. The surrounding area is a little eye soreish, but nothing horrible.

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express Hotels, with generally good experiences, but this was a very bad experience. The reservation of the room before arrival was excellent but everything was downhill from that point. The host was rude at check in. I went out shortly after arriving at returned around 7:00 PM. There was a bad leak in the ceiling of my bathroom ( which had significant damage to the ceiling in areas beyond the current leak, so this was not a new problem.) I called the front desk but the phone did not work. I then walked to the front desk ( since no phone) and listened to an unimportant conversation between the host and a maintenance person as I waited for more than 5 minutes. The maintenance person came to my room and said the leak was likely caused by kids ( made no sense.) It leaked all night. The hotel is also very dated and in general bad shape ( wall paper peeling, cracks and stains everywhere). I generally like Holiday Inns but stay away from this property.

We had a great time here for the Bodernero wedding! The pool was nice and relaxing and the breakfast was delicious. They even let us have a late checkout. Everyone was nice and accommodating. We also had shuttles taking us back and forth to the wedding venue. Here is a picture of the shuttle driver holding the cutest ring bearer ever! It made little Joe happy to pretend he was driving the bus and greeting the other kids going back to the hotel.

I went to stay here tonight and there was a mouse in my room. So i called the service desk and all he said was "Oh, a mouse. We'll move you to another room shortly". The mouse was very active so I waited outside the room for someone to come More

Worst hotel room I have ever stayed at. The drawers and doors and physically damaged. The wallpaper is peeling. There are rips in the sheets. I just discovered we were double charged. We went to about 8 other hotels in the area and they were all sold out. This was the only one available. Now I know why.

The room was nice, but there was no temperature control and the walls are very thin. On the plus side, included in my stay was a breakfast buffet with excellent breakfast food, better than any other hotel breakfast buffet I've seen.

Total fleabag. Would have turned around and stayed somewhere else if it were not for an airline-driven stay. Floors were filthy, walls were filthy, bed smelled of body odor, and the bathroom ceiling was growing a lovely culture of mold. Avoid at all costs.

Went to the hotel to get ready for a wedding. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The suite was big enough for 8 people to comfortably get dressed in tuxedos. There was plenty of parking and the hotel was easy to find.

Our stay started out pretty rough. We had booked a "flow room", but had confirmed a week before with "Alan" that it was a standard room which should have been a single king. Upon checking in, turned out we got two doubles(pretty silly when travelling with a girlfriend). Went to the front desk and asked to be moved to a king. They were fully booked, and we had to wait til one opened(understandable). That night, our AC decided to stop cooling, and kept making a very audible clicking belt noise. We called the front desk, and a maintenance guy did come up, but complained right in front of us about the management not wanting to upgrade/replace the old "junk" units. Luckily, after smacking it a few times, it worked through out the night. The 2nd day, I went down to check on switching rooms, but was informed that they were out of rooms again, so we had to spend ANOTHER night in a room with a very tempremental AC. Each time I spoke to the front desk, I was met with rudeness, and a very uncaring attitude. Ashley, I believe it was, even had the audacity to cop an attitude with my girlfriend before even asking what was wrong by letting out a very loud sigh when she saw us coming up, then telling us "it wasn't her problem". She alone will be the reason that we will not be booking this hotel if we travel to Boston again.

In any event, luckily on the 3rd day, we were able to get switched to a king, with a working(and quiet) AC unit and the rest of our stay was uneventful. The pool is very nice, the beds are quite comfortable, the bathrooms clean and pretty. Overall, as I listed above, we would not stay here again, but you can take your chances that the front desk is a bit more polite when you get there.

It's a bit complicated. On the one hand, the hotel is generally clean and when things work, there's nothing to complain about. That's earned three stars from me. If it wasn't up to that minimal standard, I couldn't recommend staying there. When things are not quite right, the staff at this hotel left something to be desired, preventing a four or five star review. I should start off by saying the staff was very agreeable throughout. Unfortunately, they were not able to match that with actual results. We stayed here three consecutive nights on two separate occasions, two weeks apart.

On the first occasion, we returned to our room shortly before midnight on night. The key card would not open our door. I've had this happen before, when the clerk didn't program the right number of nights into the key. On this occasion, however, three cards later and I was still not able to get into the room. The night security person was also not able to get in using a master key. It turns out that the battery in the door had died and there was nothing the night staff could do about it. They said they put in an emergency call to maintenance and they would be here after 7:00 the next morning! They suggested they could give us a key to another room, but all our things were in OUR room, including my daily medications and out laptop, which my wife needed in order to finish up some payroll-related tasks that needed to be done before the following morning. Fortunately, I was able to "break into" our own room (I won't say how). When the maintenance man got there at 7:30 the next day he said the device for resetting the door code, which would also power the lock and let us in, is kept on site all night. Unfortunately, the night staff didn't know about that (and said it was not). I understand that this is a rare occurrence and I won't be surprised if it never happens again, but it shouldn't happen once. The manager was good enough to take that night's fee off our bill.

Two weeks later, we had a different room and had no problems with the key. There was a light that was out in the little kitchenette, which I reported the evening we arrived. By the time we left, after three nights, the bulb had not been replaced. They took the old bulb out but never came back with the new one, although we mentioned it to the desk manager on each morning. We could have ordered a new bulb on Amazon Prime and had it delivered and I could have installed it in less time. It turns out, furthermore, that the problem may not have even been the bulb. There is (as there should be) a GFCI outlet in the kitchenette. When I went to make coffee the first morning we were there, the coffee maker would not come on. I reset the GFCI circuit and it came on. Another floor lamp that had not been working also came on. I assume the overhead light was on the same circuit, but I couldn't test that because the bulb had been removed. I told the front desk about this each morning, also.

My standards for hotels is not that high. If it's clean and things basically work, I'll stay there again. But if you cannot change a light bulb in three days and if you cannot get into a room after 11:00 PM if anything goes wrong, there's a problem.

Room and hotel super clean (I am very picky on that point)!! Personnel lovely, friendly and very helpful! We were even served in French at our arrival (we are Quebec French people). Delicious breakfast buffet at reasonable price. Hotel halfway between Boston and Salem, so really closed of both cities (about 20 mins driving). Amazing place! It is our second time here and we highly recommend it!!!

I feel for the employees....this location is dangerous to enter and exit! There is no side road or frontage road. You are literally on a highway. I spoke with one of the staff and they said they had been employed there several years and they still are afraid of entering/exiting- and when I asked if there had ever been any serious accidents the response was- "Yes, several." Holiday Inn needs to seriously look into this. Also the elevators we're rundown, our bed was broken, as well as the door into the bedroom which was literally off of the hinge. Left immediately, reported our experience to AAA and book a hotel in Plymouth. Please be cautious if you stay at this location.

I went in late at night for a brief use if their business office electronics. The front desk clerk was accommodating as if I were a special guest. Very well kept and contemporary facility placed strategically off. Rtes I 95 and 1 on the Peabody/Lynnfield Interchange. I was there one nite when a young 6yo boy from Africa was visiting with his family. As an M. D., I could sense the anxiety of the Mother. The child was burning up with fever. She asked me if I could see the child. Quick action on the part of the Hotel Staff and their recognition of me(gyn surgeon & fertility consultant) led to a favourable resolve and treatment. This lovely family had a hand carved elephant sent to me by a third party in Chicago, as I refused payment. This is humbling.

We drove 9 hours to get there. Once there we left the dog and the luggage for about an hour to grab some dinner. We got back to the hotel around 8 pm and were publicly assaulted by the front desk- our dog was barking in the pet friendly hotel before 9pm. We were almost kicked out without refund. (Until they realized we had an active duty soldier In our party) They accused us of not registering the dog, which I had done online. Upon checkout they tried to charge us a second time for the dog. Other guests at the hotel apologized to me at breakfast the next morning. The shower had about six strands of long black hair and the blankets were old and shabby

The Bad:

The Bad:

No twin bed arrangement for handicap guests, deteriorating interior and temperamental AC/Heat unit that overheats or overcools the room.

The Good:

Great location, friendly staff, full breakfast and great rates in the winter (too pricey compared to quality in the summer IMO).

It was filthy. Not well kept and the tv kept turning off and wouldnt turn back on at times. When i called the front desk about it, i had to leave a msg and they never got back to me. I was suppose to have queen beds, but only got full size. Was suppose to have a fridge in room and didn't. The headboards on the beds were disgusting and particles of it fell on my pillows and i had to keep shaking them off. I will never stay here again.

It was OK at best the beds were uncomfortable and the rooms outdated and dirty for the price also in less you're familiar with the highways and the exits access to this place is terrible it would've been worth the couple of hundred extra bucks to stay in Salem. We also found a busted off fingernail in the bathtub.

The hotel was old and worn down. The ac sounded like an airplane trying to take off. The pool had hair clumps, bugs, and other debris floating and at the bottom. The tub had a strange curve to the floor that made my knees hurt while showing. The room next to us partied loudly until past 2am even after being asked to quiet down. It seemed like little effort was put on to make them quiet. Everything at the paid breakfast was stale. Our eggs were practically crunching. We will never stay there again.

Big fan of the holiday inn. You usually can t go wrong with it. The room was very clean and nice. The area was quite there s a carabbas next door which is nice if you want a place to eat. My only complaint was breakfast. Breakfast into included which was fine but they made a big deal over how to buy it. We asked at the desk she told us $11 a person okay great so we went to the restaurant and the guy told us only people who added breakfast on their reservation could buy it. We just left and had Dunkin instead wasn t with the hassle they made it.

Check in was easy, free Wi-Fi available, and reception moved us to a room away from noise when we requested it. Rooms were nice. Breakfast buffet (separate cost) wasn't very impressive, and honestly for a mid-grade hotel restaurant I thought the prices for regular menu items (for breakfast no less) were a bit steep.
