A zero is much more appropriate. This "hotel" is a very unfunny joke. We called in advance to assure that there was a functional hot tub and were told there certainly was. Definitely a lie ! THERE IS NO FUNCTIONAL HOT TUB HERE ! No guide on the T.V. No coffee stations. Lots of blank stares as we seek retribution. Don't expect much here....you won't get it. Morning maid service was the loudest , most disrespectful and observed no restraint on door slamming ! Won't recommend , won't continue to feed holiday inn.

It's ok to say the least, all the lady bartenders we're good but the guy(Hiram) not so good. I waited an hour for food that he forgot to ring in after I sat and had a couple drinks. The next night he wouldn't look at me waiting at the bar and once he did he didn't give me a pen to sign my check! Wow this was rude and very unfortunate. Good luck getting clean wash rags in the rooms without having to wait for them. Don't expect great service from here.

The stay itself was ok, however I checked in after 11pm from driving on the road. I came to the room losing my sleeping 4 year old, and 15 year old sister. It is a habit that I pull the sheets back and look at the bed. However since my son was sleeping and we are in the middle of a pandemic I told my sister to pull the sheets back and spray them with Lysol. About 4 in the morning I get up, as I return to the besieged see the sheets stuck together at the end of the bed, with some kind of sticky pink substance with hair in it!!!! Omggggg we are in a middle of a pandemic and these people didn t change the Sheets!!!! Are you kidding me! On all levels this is disgusting and shows the lack of respect and care that this ONE individual had. One the outside the room looked good, due to their laziness they just simply made up the bed, but didn t change the sheets!

Seriously Valdosta, who do you think you are? Where does a Holiday Inn Express in a sketchy podunk town in south Georgia get off charging $140 for a basic hotel room? Nicer hotels in Atlanta don t cost as much. But it gets worse. After their taxes and fees it cost us $189. An extra $50!! What? And all this for a hotel that serves no breakfast and has no wifi in the rooms. And what is that awful smell in the area? Are there paper mills nearby?

We should have known better when we called to make reservations and it took them almost 20 minutes to book us one room for one night. No military discount...boo.

When we got there we found a parking lot with smaller than normal parking spaces. Who does that at a hotel where people are having to get luggage in and out of their cars? This combined with the fact that 50% of the world cannot park well anyways leads to dozens of spots that you cannot safely fit your car into.

We went to the front desk to check in and they cannot find our reservation. Long story short, they not only misspelled our last name, but they put our last name in as our first and vice versa. No one pays attention anymore.

The hotel is decent overall and seems clean. But they have painted the entire place this awfully drab gray with even darker carpets. It really is a strange choice if colors.

We stayed on the fifth floor. When we got into our room we tried to get onto wifi with 6 different devices - four iphones, one ipad and one android device. No luck. It was not a password issue. It doesnt even get that far. It simply says unable to connect to network . So we called down to the front desk and the lady confirmed that this is a problem at the hotel. She said most guests come down to the lobby to connect to wifi. Hahaha. Really? It s 2019 and my $180 room has no wifi.

This location fails on almost every important aspect of a hotel: inefficient staff, outrageous prices, poor parking, no breakfast, no wifi, sketchy part of town. And seriously, what is that awful smell?

Do yourself a favor and skip Valdosta entirely.

If you like loud, long trains with blaring horns all night long, stay here. This place features them on an hourly basis. I usually stay at HI, but never again in Valdosta. Tracks are right behind the hotel. Stay across the street and find some rest. No rest to be found here.

We ordered food 2 and a half hours ago, called many times to check in and we never got our food this is the worst absolute service I have ever in my entire life. Not to mention that the rooms are dirty and hot when you arrive.

We booked an event for 18 and from beginning to end it was a great experience. The entire team from front desk, bar, and restaurant was spot on!! Hotel is nice and and in safe area and close to Wild Adventures. Rooms were in great shape and clean and bar and restaurant first class. We look forward to booking another event soon. Thank u!!!!

We stayed at this hotel for one night on a trip from MI to FL. I will never give my business to a Holiday Inn again due to my card being charged $117 when my receipt says $60. I called and spoke to both the AGM and the GM, who were both rude and offered no help in getting my money refunded. This location had very poor customer service skills.

Nice clean large rooms. All staff were nice and polite. The only reason for not giving it five stars is the elevator got stuck and it took a while for someone to help. We we're told that isn't the first time it has stuck like that in the last few weeks by a staff member. Very scary.

Stayed in the family suite, really enjoyed it. Nice place. Service for breakfast was poor, everything else was great. (Edit to answer Melissa - Melissa, I wouldn't hesitate to return, in fact it would be my choice. One out of whack breakfast doesn't spoil a good stay!)

I'm in a wheelchair, this HI had the best and biggest wheelchair room I ever remember staying in. Everything was convenient for me, even the eye level mirror in room. Staff was very friendly. Will stay there when in Valdosta.

A beautiful hotel! Very modern and updated look. An incredible value for the weekend stay. The walk-in shower was stunning (I used to build custom walk-in showers for a living). Room was very spacious and had a great atmosphere. Probably the nicest Holiday Inn that I have been in to date. I can t wait to stay here again.

Great new property. Beautiful and very comfortable. The housekeeping staff is extremely noisy in the mornings. They do not find out if you have a late check out and kept asking to clean our room. That was the only frustrating thing. So since they are so new I will be thankful they care! Awesome new place!!!

Best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at! Super contemporary. Room was spacious and comfortable. Evening restaurant staff were friendly and professional. Food was great for both dinner and breakfast! Samantha at breakfast was very accommodating and went out of her way to make my morning extra special through her service

Great hotel, with a really nice restaurant located on the first floor that has great food. Quite a nice, recently renovated hotel. Would highly recommend it. Especially the restaurant.

This is an outstanding hotel. We were impressed with the Josh at the front desk who went out of his way to get us a room with a tub. The lobby is spacious and well appointed. There is free coffee available. The bar offers good drinks at a more than fair price. The restaurant offered a good breakfast for under $10.00.

The elevators were fast. Our room was spacious with coffee station and super comfy bed. There were lots of outlets and the lighting was good. The room was quiet.

The bathroom was well lit and super clean with good water pressure.

We have stayed here since they first opened and it was always a pleasure.. ... This time was terrific. The room size has been reduced and the showers have been removed and the.decorating colors make the rooms look smaller, which they are. I will never stay here again.

Hotel would get a 5 on cleanliness and comfort, unfortunately this hotel failed to provide the single most important thing: a decent nights rest. I've spent well over 100 nights in hotels in my life. I've called the front desk to complain only 3 times. All 3 were last night at the Valdosta GA Holiday Inn. Upon arriving in the room after 14 hours of driving ready to catch some sleep before hitting the road again in the morning, we were hit with the thumping bass from a party happening directly below us. I called the front desk (after connecting the phone line to the phone to get a dial tone) to ask if we could be moved to a room that wasn't directly over the DJ in the conference room. I was told that there were no other rooms. They said the party would be over at 10. While less than ideal, I figured I could handle the noise until then. At 10:30 the party was still loud in my room, so I called the front desk to ask about the noise again. The desk told me the manager was just then on his way to tell them to turn down or disband the party (that was already running 30 minutes over). The party kept going... still at full tilt and still shaking my room at 11:10. I made my third call to the front desk to complain... This time they were REALLY going to shut it down. After about 10 more minutes the thumping finally quit and I could finally start to fall asleep. At midnight, after finally getting to sleep, the rooms alarm went off and woke me up! We spent over $200 for less than 12 hours in this subwoofer. What a truly terrible and unacceptable experience.
