Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center Valdosta Review

Loved it all the people were real good to us the receptionist the servers and even the maintenance guys were kind to us the greeted us as well.

Very nice motel. Safe motel that is close to restaurants and gas stations. It has a restaurant on-site.

The staff is really nice once you get to know them.

When I go and visit my daughter at Valdosta State University this is where I always stay. This hotel is always clean and the staff greets me by name and welcomes me. They ask me what I need and tell me they are glad I arrived safely! The restaurant is great, the food is very good, had the salmon it was so good. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. They have a nice pool to cool off in and a workout facility to work off that stress. Their rates are very good for the quality. Good choice.

Clean, well maintained hotel like atmosphere. We had large clean room, restful bed, easily maintained temperature, quiet a/c.

I encountered a very unpleasant receptionist. Her name was Alba and middle age Hispanic woman looks much older could be younger she was not very helpful. Terrible customer service and even worse tone. She displayed very little professionalism. I will not stay here nor recommend the place ever again. I decided to check out early.

We stayed for a night and it was a great place to stop and sleep.

Walked in at almost 2am after a long drive, so it wouldn't have taken much to irritate me. So it was great that the desk staff was friendly and quickly checked us in. Got a spacious, non-smoking room with 2 queen beds for a fair price. Room was clean, the bed was comfy and the A.C. worked well. My only complaint was that the shower's water pressure was a bit low, but that has been my experience at most hotels.

Rooms were great, and the restaurant downstairs was nice, but slow and not the best food.

First time here at the Holiday Inn. I must say our stay has been amazing!!! From the excellent staff the helped with my Great Grandmother's 100th Birthday celebration to the wonderful bartender and the rest of the hotel workers, who made our stay superb!!! Next time we're in Georgia this will be a definite spot to stay in. Even though you don't receive complimentary breakfast, you do get 2 vouchers for complimentary drinks from the bar which is adjacent to the restaurant. I think I'll look into staying in other Holiday Inns when we travel!!!

Plenty of outlets for all of your devices in one of the largest rooms I've stayed in at a standard hotel. Shower is also large with fluffy towels. Entire hotel is very clean. Great ceramic coffee cups in the restaurant - perfect size for the first cup of coffee in the morning. Free airport shuttle available.

Clean and comfortable! Friendly well staffed hotel. Would recommend for family stay.

Weekend get-a-way to Valdosta's Wild Adventure theme park.

This has a 4 star rating but more like a 3 star. You'd expect that a conference center would offer a better stay and more amenities but it doesn't. The rooms were clean yet smaller than the Holiday Inn Express. No complimentary breakfast yet more expensive than some of the other locations. Doesn't quite make sense. Likely will not choose this location again

This is 1 of the properties with a bar and restaurant. 2 free drinks is even better than a breakfast. Everything worked, staff fine, room outstanding. And as usual WIFI top notch

Downstairs lobby and bar was nice. Jacuzzi and bathrooms not very clean. Sticky floors.

I really liked the hotel, the rooms were clean and tidy.

Carpet was dirty and some one had clipped their toe nails those were still on the carpet. Other wise it was not bad.

I stay here 2 plus times a week. Nice hotel.over priced for what you get,price is always different each stay.No complimentary breakfast, you can go to the express also owned by the same owners as thus one.They charge more because of the complimentary breakfast. Don't make sense to call it complimentary. I have stayed across the street at the 39$ hotel,sleeps the same as this 100$ plus one.cpuld only imagine what they are going to charge for the new Comfort Inn the same owners are building beside this hotel.

The bar is awesome! Ben is one of the best bartenders ever!

We arrived very late on Christmas Eve. The clerk was very friendly and got us checked in quickly. The room was clean and quiet. Very convenient location right off the interstate.

Old, sort of rundown. Disappointed. Haven't tried restaurant yet. We shall see . .

It was pretty wonderful, the rooms were clean, the breakfast staff were outstanding! I came in a big group and they were all very accommodating and friendly. Loved it!

I called on the Fly about an hour and a half before I got into town and they accommodated me with no hesitation. The staff was very friendly in every way that I needed them to be. The rooms are a bit outdated and the benches that sit in front of the bed look like they have bum stains in room 208. I stayed for Clear of these. That's the only reason why did not give them a full five star.

Nice hotel, easy access. If I could change one thing, it would be the bathroom design. In our room, the toilet was located 6" from the sink counter. If you are standing at the center of the counter, you are squeezed in between the toilet and counter top. I am a thin person. This would be much worse for a heavier person. Also wish the room had a full length mirror.

Very clean hotel and grounds. Everything was as expected. Clean and comfortable and just a good place to stay. I stayed in the two bedroom suite and it was very well decorated and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

For a four star hotel it was pretty mediocre. The rooms and bathrooms we're small especially in comparison to a holiday in express we stayed in Jasper Alabama which was more modern and spacious. Overall it was just average.

These guys were great. There was exactly one room left, and they were still willing to use GSA pricing. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The room was very spacious.

So I read some bad reviews and after my stay last night I have to say that NONE of that happened to me. The front desk guy Carlos was nice and so very accommodating. We booked the sponge Bob suite and my girls love love loved it! They watched tv from the bathtub and fell asleep squeezing spongebob. It was a little warm on the kids side and Carlos literally tracked down a fan for them. My bed was comfy and my room was cold and perfect. Extra shampoo,conditioner and pillows?? No problem! Yes there is a train not too far but I heard it when I was awake but it didn't once wake me up. The pool looked amazing but we didn't have time to go in. We will definitely go back! The price was also great. I'm Samantha A. from FL and I was very happy here. :)

We stopped here on the way to Florida. This hotel is a breath of fresh air. Very up to date decor and a pretty hotel inside and out. The rooms are welcoming and clean. Which is my pet peeve. The staff greeted us with smiles and were very accommodating. Staying here free with IHG points. You must get the IHG reward card.

We were supposed to eat dinner at 6:30 and I still haven't received my food I had to drive to the nearest fast food restaurant to eat food and they are about to lose one of there biggest customers to this crap.

Hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The only problem we had was the first room we were given, the only lights that worked we're the one by the door, and the bathroom light. No power to the rest of the room. They changed our room right away though. No issues with the second room.

I work for Holiday Inn Express, and we take pride in our work amd how our housekeeping department cleans rooms. The bathroom was not as clean as should have been. Housekeeping needs to make sure they clean properly. Also, painting guest doors without warning is not sufficient. I got paint on my hand from touching my door this morning due to wet paint. Everything else was good.

Great customer service very friendly and attentive made me feel at home away from home ! The breakfast is good as well

Hate it that they don't have breakfast. They do have a restaurant in the motel which has very good food though.

Nice hotel to rest during your journey or long trip. Clean, Organized and all furniture are kind new.

Honestly just got here hours ago...hadn't stayed the night yet and already give 5 stars just do to cleanliness and very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk!

Friendly staff and clean Holiday Inn. My family and I stayed here on the way down to Florida. We originally booked a family suite but was called and told that they would need to give us 2 adjoining rooms instead. No big deal was still plenty of room for the 5 of us.

So far a great hotel. Great and friendly staff and guests. Thank You!
