For the outward appearance and ratings, i expected better. Staff was ditsy, water pressure was a joke, handle on sink faucet came flying off and the drain was super slow. While room was adequate and clean, the bed was uncomfortable - my wife didnt sleep at all. Probably won't come back. Staff was courteous when dealing with room issues.

Clean hotel with a modern feel. Me and the kid enjoyed the pool. Breakfast isn't free, but the attached restaurant had a $5 buffet plus a big menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Kids eat free. Dinner was awesome, much better than I would have ever expected.
The bad, the internet was sketchy in the evening, in the morning at 6 am I could get a signal, but never sign in. I work in the morning and need internet, especially since I booked the Executive Suite where one would expect working conditions. I did call the front desk where I was hung up on after they said I needed to get to the sign on screen, which of course I never could. Next the thermostat, the temp was set at 75, but when I walked in it was likely 70. I set it up to 78 with the heat on and it never came on. The good, the room was clean, bed was nice, the soap and shampoo nice, the shower a nice walkin shower. I didn't eat at restaurant because I was angry in the morning so skipped breakfast at this location and went elsewhere. I was in room 301 if that helps anyone.
This is the second time I stayed at Holiday Inn, last stay was years back at a different location.
My experince at Holiday Inn was pleasant. We were provided with Complimentary Drinks at the bar until 11pm, we wanted to have dinner at the restaurant adjacent to the bar but it was closed unfortunately.
This location offer NO Complimentary Breakfast, you can either opt for the restaurant inside the facilities & order from their extensive menu or simply eat somewhere else.
Our room, I must mention, was cozy, beds were Comfortable & Clean facilities including the washroom (Bath & Body Works in there).
I came down for the SGMP here in Valdosta and was immediately pleased with the friendliness of the staff. My room was very clean and I love how up to date the appliances are. The staff gives 2 free drinks at the bar both alcoholic and non alcoholic which was sweet. Room service was very responsive . my,only complaint was there was no storage for dirty towels in the bathroom. Other than that I will be back!
No stars blood stains in my comforter no word from management they replaced my comforter nothing more I will never sleep in hotel bed with out bringing my own bedding so far from home and ready to leave now if I had a black light who know what I might find here looks nice but nasty under neath never stay again
Nice clean rooms with an updated look. Friendly front desk staff and overall experience. Would not hesitate to stay again the next time I am in the area.
I stay at a lot of Holiday Inn Express hotels and purposely stay at very few regular Holiday Inn properties. I checked into this hotel just before midnight and had to be out the door at 7am. I had a double queen room, number 313.
The good: the nightstand and the work desk have very nice outlet/usb charging capacities. And Darryl, He was very pleasant at check in.
The bad: the bathroom is so small you literally cannot stand at the sink due to the toilet taking up that space. Most small boats have better bathroom facilities.
I won t stop staying at Holiday Inn Express properties but I will make a note to avoid this particular Holiday Inn.
Very nice rooms. Would stay again. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking spots. Places to eat close buy. Really soft beds an really big tv's. Would recommend
Terrible experience here. Found towel that had make up stains. Found stains on my bed sheets. Stains on the chair. Dirty walls. This is reticules can t believe i paid over $100 for this room. Pictures speak for themselves
Main reason I am giving only 2 stars coz the bad breakfast. No drinking water for rooms. Very high price for drinks and breakfast. Even you nooked with breakfast included, very little choices and only one meny free. Others should be paid. No fruites. For the price not worthy. There are many better options for such price. :(
Front desk woman was snooty found cheaper price online and showed it to her she said you gotta do that online. Room is nice but you think for the price they could upgrade the mattress didn't get any sleep
The hotel was conveniently located. The room was large and comfortable. My limited interaction with the hotel staff was fine. I was only here long enough to sleep but I did sleep well.
It was a nice motel for an overnight stay wouldn't want to be there kind as the amenities were lacking service was good room was hot as we had very limited control of thermostat
We checked out this morning and i told the woman at the desk there was crumbs on floor when we checked in and only one wash cloth in a 2 bed room 615 and she acted like it was no big deal not counting the heat didnt work right so it was cold all night.I did use my employee discount cause i work at another holiday inn but i should have got same treatment as any other guest complaint. Just stayed one night as a quick getaway for the night.Clean room, bed was comfortable only downside was the room wasn't as cold as we like (but thats is any hotel nowdays) will definitely stay again.
It's a nice new hotel. They were having some issues with the cleaning staff missing a few rooms when we went to visit. They took good care of us and made sure we got a clean room. And a free breakfast for our trouble.
We had an excellent stay - very clean and comfortable beds. We opted for the $10 voucher for breakfast and the food was great - fresh fruit, real eggs! Worth the extra money to eat instead of powdered eggs and rubbery pancakes at "free breakfast" places! We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area!
I only stayed one night but it was clean, modern looking room with two queen beds that were very comfortable. The bathrooms were granite and tile with white fluffy towels. And no mold anywhere, a pet peeve of mine. The staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable.
Great hotel; clean and well maintained. A particular bargain at this price point. Wonderful front desk staff. We were able to book the 'cartoon suite' for the same number of points as the regular room, which was a fantastic deal. This is the first hotel we've stayed at in awhile that proactively provided the platinum benefits, which was a nice touch. It's a small thing and costs almost nothing, but very important to create that value. We did hear the trains, but it was not a big deal and certainly didn't wake us. They are about 600-700 feet away, and we were on the 6th floor facing the tracks so probably would have gotten the worst of it.
Lovely facility. Attended a meeting there. Breakfast was great, but I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open for lunch. The temperature in the meeting room was even in a reasonable range. The only problem was that with storms, the power kept going out and the electronics kept shutting down.
The rooms were so clean and fresh. The beds were super comfortable. The staff were relaxed, personable and met all of our needs, which were few because it was already spot-on.
Pros: Clean decent rooms, friendly and helpful staff, near food and shopping plus almost on I-75, they supplied nice toiletries and had a store with reasonable prices, the
Cons: Pool was WAY too small for the size of the hotel and the pool, restaurant, and bar closed way too early, not enough sugar packs in the room for coffee/tea (one packet per cup), no exhaust fans in bathroom nor an ac, vent, the food was not the greatest.... roasted potatoes are French fries cut in wedges lol .
We started our night with a very bad experience at a different hotel and got here just after midnight. Darryl was extremely helpful even despite some grumpiness coming from our side of the counter. He booked us a room and kept a smile throughout the entire interaction. The room was spotless, quite and smelled nice. The bed was comfortable, the provided toiletries were wonderful and we were very happy. It's a little more expensive than some of the other hotels in the area, but I promise you, it's well worth the extra $20-$30. We will be delighted to stay here again on our next trip to FL.
This is a great hotel. I stay here about once a month. This hotel has a great bar and pool. The rooms are a nice large size and have a cocktail bar. There is a flat screen TV in every room. Rooms with king beds come with a couch and coffee table. The hotel is in a nice location and has a lot within walking distance.
Hotel service is great! Restaurant another story. Waited 25 minutes to be seated when there were many open tables. Then another 20 minutes to have a server see what drinks we wanted. People were standing waiting with no one seating them. Another 15 and no one has taken our order!!! Another customer had to get the manager to get the server's to even seat him! Been here an hour and no food yet. Might make the check out time? And still waiting for our food!!! Should have gone to IHOP.
Very Clean and Staff was Courteous. If you are looking for a nice stay in Valdosta then the Holiday Inn is the best choice . The location is near the highway but plenty of shopping and restaurants within a 5 miles. I enjoyed this location
Great property, recently renovated, on site restaurant, great staff and plenty of parking if pulling a rv. I stay here several times a year and have never had a bad experience.
If you ever come here to eat do not pick the stir fry that's only if you want your blood pressure to stay level it is likes eating salt thank you for giving me the chance to share. the two stars are for the wicked margarita if not for that it would be no stars...
