Holiday Inn down town dubai Review

A very respectable place to treat the workers as collaborators, especially the highly respected Egyptian chef Moataz and / Walid Mahmoud El Masry, the operations manager for the wonderful reception, and the Moroccan Lamia El Ansari.
Hard if I have to write in the virtuous people to reduce the pulley enough to appreciate and respect for personal personality with knowledge and God is not dealt with before I was present in this place

Located in the heart of dubai bur, downtown. So plus point for location but rooms and washrooms are not properly maintained.

Cosy place, help desk was quite friendly, only issue was the complimentary cake given for a birthday celebrant was quite off putting

Truly amazing place.. well managed property, very customer friendly staff.. Special mention of Front office executive Meenu and Cheff Rouf.. They we're brilliant and went out of the way to ensure we had a delightful experience..

Pros:
Location - surrounded by hotels, restaurant, gift shops, grocery shops and apartments. Weather is good after sunset, night life is open till 3 am. Taxi is available the moment you step out of the hotel. Al Rigga metro station is 300 metres from hotel. Use metro only if you are on budget as it is crowded, didn't see tourist using it.
Rooms: spacious, neat, clean. Corridors have fresh air defusors. Compact gym and a small pool in the rooftop. Got interconnected rooms as we were two families. WiFi with good speed.
Food: breakfast has vast spread of breads, baked beans, sausage, live egg station, fruits, muffins, noodles, yougart, Chinese counter, Indian counter, juices and lot of bakery items. Didn't try their lunch or dinner.
Staff: extremely professional and friendly.

Cons:
Ambience: rooms don't have good view. You can only see neighbouring apartments from the room.
Travel desk: Couldn't take the service due to high price. Got better rates and excellent package from a travel agent.

In need of a refurbishment but very friendly service and the fact that they allowed us to check in mid-morning, after 18h flight, made up for everything. Comfortable in spite of everything.

It was so amazing, I really enjoyed every bit of my staying in Holiday Inn hotel. It was very fantastic and wonderful, I also encourage the management and the staff to continue their good works and house keeping for by so doing their target both now and future will be accomplished in Jesus name Amen

Excellent and love this place for relax and enjoy your stay in Dubai

Nights # 1 & 2. Can't sleep. We're on the 7th floor and the loud music from the 1st floor is coming through the vents. We're moved to the 6th floor. A non smoking room that wreaks of smoke. Even they admitted that it must have been the Saudis because they don't respect the rules. We're moved to another room on the 6th floor. The first night the tub drain doesn't work and the water doesn't drain. This causes a drain near the toilet to back up and the water comes up. This is all addressed with a plunger. They offer to move us yet again. I gave up. I normally stay at the Hyatt, but came to this place because my better half was part of a larger group. She gets it now that you get what you pay for. No offer of a breakfast or free night. However, 5 stars to the staff (not mgmt.). Vanessa, Claire, Sharoon, Princess and the concierge team were all great.

The hotel among the top ranking hotels of the country, during my stay their service was time and efficient. It s a kid-friendly place; amenities include cribs and baby toiletries. Hotel is easily distinguishable because of its stylish rooms and ecofriendly practices. Thank you for a delightful experience!

I think it was an amazing experience. The swimming pool and the gym, the buffet and international food. The staff were great helping me around and we're very friendly. I recommend this hotel to everybody who wants a relaxing night in downtown Dubai. The GM and the management team are amazing at running the hotel.

A wonderful and classy place and the reception service is very excellent

Location and price is wonderful but when I 1st arrived they put me in a smoking room which I didn't request but since I was late arriving they assured me they would put me in a no smoking room. I arrived at 0500 that morning and was put in the non smoking room by 1400.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My check-in went smoothly and they gave me a very good room. I loved the room as it was very clean and the view was beautiful. The service was very quick. I stayed for 2 days and both the days I was greeted with a lot of respect. They provide the best hospitality to their clients. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Old hotel with old dated furniture with filthy carpet and dirty bathroom. Countless flaws and does not worth more than two stars rating.

Hotel Its location is excellent in the heart of the Deira and close to restaurants the hotel is quite a bit more expensive than its stars

One of the worst Holiday Inns I've been to. The rooms are barely 16sq m and dingy and dark. The hotel is really congested without much space to walk or sit. The breakfast is small and very crowded from 7am all the way to 10 am, the gym is another tiny 16sq m room with mirrors to make it look bigger, the pool on the terrace is small,and thankfully outdoors, but they play extremely loud club morning at 10am in the morning at the pool, so loud that nobody can even hear each other while swimming or sitting there.

This is more of the level of a low end Holiday Inn Express.

Good location. Many shops and restaurants nearby. But an old hotel. Needs a lot of renovation. Smaller rooms and not well maintained bathrooms. Food is just 'bout ok. Not upto standard with other Holiday Inns.

This is a great hotel in terms of location, design and rooms. This is not my first stay there, I have visited it several times. This time I have two things to say about this hotel. The first thing that makes the visitor puzzled is the lack of order among the crews. I saw them costing the room service in terms of cleaning and delivery of requests, which worsened their bad behavior with visitors, their shouting and disrespect. The second thing is the restaurant. The dishes and small cups were unclean and the buffet was unclean and the big tasteless. The Asian girl gave us dishes with grumbling and And if you say so, throw the dishes Thank you to the Moroccan girl Amina for her attention and reception and also her smile, and also special thanks to the security staff as well as always smiling and cooperating. The visitor spends his money only to see excellent service and welcome and smile to keep the place and stay wonderful special and exceptional.

Great service due to very nice, friendly staff. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone. There are both hot dishes, as well as classic ... freshly prepared egg dishes and much more.
Div.Brote and rolls ... a variety of sweet pieces to cereal ... coffee, tea and much more.
However, if the hotel is renovated, only the rooms on floor 7 are nice. So when booking z.zt.darauf pay attention. Downside no. 2 is the house air conditioning, which is very loud. So if you are sensitive to noise, you should bring earplugs, as it is in the rooms even if you make the room air conditioning is quite loud.

I took 6 nights at this hotel, one of which was at sea or New Year's Eve. Here you can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet to start your day. There are fruits, breads, hot and cold cereals, eggs, meat, cheese, juice, coffee and tea. The room was very clean. You can enjoy both the view of the airport and the sights of the city. I swear that I didn't hear any airport alarms for the nights. The soundproofing of the room is excellent.
