Holiday Inn down town dubai Review

I would say I had a good stay here. Staffs are helpful. The double room is big and comfortable, tho old. On the first night, we can slightly hear the noise of the club at midnight but that doesn t bother us very much. The aircon however is not cold enough, I don t even need to use the thick comforter. Tried to adjust the temperature but it seems like the temperature is controlled centrally. Very near train station so it s very convenient. Breakfast is good. There are a lot of eateries outside the hotel.

Good Please finish repairs and renovations as soon as possible, always on business trips to Dubai Best booking by.

Very very beautiful .. for proximity to malls, shops and restaurants .. I recommend it ..

I have stayed in better hotel than this at same price

Average rooms and average food . Dubai offers lot more and at this price also there are much better deals. Room has some distinctive smell and despite reminder this was not corrected. Some wet carpet kinda smell. Breakfast spread was normal . Though one of the chef was quite good . Walking distance to metro station which is a plus. Quite close to shopping malls.

Rooms itself was clean, comfortable, although the bathtub in the bathroom was broken, It felt as if I was gonna fall down into the floor boards, customer service was terrible, after requesting for a refund, the manager offered a premium suite, no apology from the staff herself which ruined our experience, won't be coming here again

Terrible experience.The toilet smells due to leakage..the carpet also smells badly... didn't expect such a bad experience from the reputed Holyday inn.We stayed for two days...changed the room due to toilet issues and the manager suggested a complimentary dinner for us...but we could not eat the supper... everything tasted like old and rotten and the whole dining area was of foul smell...very dissatisfied

I dont recommend this hotel. No proper cleaning and hygenic. Found cockroach in the coffee machine.

Nice hotel central location. Close to the metro. Rigga road a street away with a variety of food outlets and shopping centre about 10 min walk with many stores. Carrefour open till late for that late night shopping. The shisha lounge and massage centre run by third party companies

We had a very good experience at this hotel. All the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and supportive. We would especially like to recognise and thank Ms. Meenu at the reception and Ms. Armina in the dining hall for their exceptional hospitality and customer service skills. We will surely plan to stay at this place again on our next trip to Dubai and will gladly recommend it to friends and family.

The duration of my stay in the hotel was a week with a very good time. We were very clean. A very clean hotel. Oi Oi and the staff were very respectful and especially Mohammed Ali was in Rsbashan. He was very helpful and he was all zuq and respect his blood. The honey is our protection. We thank him for his cooperation with us and Kaman. We thank Amina and Mohamed. I thought it was good. Clean and good service and polite staff. There was a Persian leader and an Iranian employee who was good. Her food was good too ... but I do not know why she's gone high now.

This hotel is ideal if you want to be close to metro station and in malls.
It is just walking distance to the metro station and to fast food chain like McDonalds, KFC and to the mall.

Hotel is good and the location is in heart of dubai. The rooms should be more clean especially washroom. There was smell of cigarettes in the washroom

The hotel interior design was beautiful. Rooms looked very good and they were clean and comfortable. Specially our room was big and great. The foods were really delicious and the staff members very kind guys.
The receptionists were really friendly and specially Mr Shankar was a very good man.
It is also near rigga metro station and you don't have to walk a long way to station.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will book again next year.

Simple but well maintained hotel, where the rooms are neat and the staff very knowledgeable and attentive. The rooms are comfortable, the rooftop pool is very nice. The hotel is well placed near the metro and very close to the airport. Only downside: the breakfast, little varied and bland ...

Nice location but hotel rooms are old and poorly maintained. Bath tub is broken. Carpet are stained and old.

Really disappointed with this hotel! Holiday inn generally has high standards and to experience something like this is horrible. On the first night of our stay there was no parking available. The bathroom tub was full of grime and so slimy!!! This morning there were drilling sounds in the building which woke us up earlier than usual and now there was a horrible sound coming from the room next door. Truely dissatisfied with this! False advertising, not a four star hotel...and the most they can say is SORRY!

A good budget hotel..rooms are clean and staffs are helpful. Recently they changed management and hotel is known as excelsior downtown. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel if some one wants to explore. A good spread of international breakfast buffet...

The location is dirty and the hotel is in it, its smell is what made me sleep, the rooms are narrow and the music is annoying

Will only be able to match a 3 start property in India , location is good though to take Dubai Metro
