A nice hotel to stay...staff is cordial...specially suitable for Indians...since they are familiar with Indian language and foods...rooms are good though not very satisfied with bathrooms....Good meal options...other facilities like pool, spa and gym are very good...above all it is centrally located ...be it metro station or local markets are at walking distance...many cafe and restaurants serving vegetarian and Indian foods are also nearby...MAKES YOUR DUBAI TRIP COMFORTABLE

The last shop ..... Rooms dirty, in the whole castle it stank of color and other things which we have probably been forbidden for 30 years ..... 6th floor was renovated and it stank everywhere beastly .... Have to change the hotel at their own expense ...... Think the pictures say everything .....

Very comfortable large rooms and superb room service. The receptionist were very polite and he helped us to see the city easily with best tours on a good price. Everything seems fine and my experience is good for this hotel. And it's close to some good shops and restaurants as well.

I just stayed at this hotel this past week for two days and was very disappointed. This may have been a four star hotel in the distant past, but it is no longer. It appears that very little maintenance is being done. When we arrived, the thermostat in our room did not work. The air conditioning was either all on or all off. I pointed this out immediately (it was night time) and they sent a maintenance person to look at it. He said it had to be replaced and would be replaced the next day. We slept with the a/c all on and the room was very cold, but it was impossibly hot with the a/c off. The next day we went on a day tour of the city and did not arrive back at the hotel until almost 10:00 PM. The thermostat had not been replaced. I asked again to have it changed, but was told it could not happen until the next day. The next day we left the hotel at 9:00 AM and returned at 2:00 PM. The thermostat had not been replaced. As we were leaving that night on a plane at 11:30 PM, I asked if we could have late checkout and was told the only way to have late checkout was to pay for another days charge. So, we had to sit in the hotel lobby from 2:00 PM until we left for the airport at 8:00 PM. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

The reception is as a 2 star old hotel although the rooms has been renovated
If you have a car then there is a very limited space at the hotel
Ore alternatively you will pay a huge amount in the parking area nearby
Staying there is only recommended for people who like the location and nothing else
You can't judge the price as it migjt be a good deal only at my stay

Simple, clean, friendly staff.

Simple, clean, friendly staff.
The hotel is more likely for business people from the Middle East.
They don't speak Russian.
There is free 0.5L bottled water in the room, there is a small electric kettle, a couple of cups and a set of tea and coffee bags. Also free.
Breakfast is monotonous, but everything is fresh.
There is a lobby bar with alcohol (I don t know the prices, because I don t drink). Water, bottle 0.5L 10AED ($ 2.75), Turkish coffee 22AED ($ 6) - more expensive than in the city.
Al Rigga metro station is nearby.
