Gorgeous room that we have used before. Loads of tea and coffee available.

Visited the premises twice, and came away twice with the unhappy feeling.running through my body.
I am staying with an open mind on the premises.

Good customer service, ironing board was quite bumpy, and confusion/lack of clarity over breakfast times. But nothing is too much to ask them and they respond well

Food is expensive for what you get; alot of young staff is leaving the hotel vulnerable to poor customer service & the place needs a uplift

Stayed here recently to attend a wedding in Bolton, very helpful staff, great breakfast. Goos value for money, would stay again!

Parking very poor for the size of the hotel struggle to get a parking space each night

Great location, close to shops and bars. Decor is a little tired looking and prices are a little high. Staff all very helpful. Very annoying "heater" noise behind the wall during the night in my room on 4th floor. WiFi had weak signal with drop outs and buffering.

We attended a wedding, the staff were very helpful in guiding us to the Ashton Suite..a room I had never been in before. The room was very nice and spacious which I was pleasantly suprised by.

Attended a session in one of the meeting rooms. Room well maintained and pleasantly decorated. Toilet facilities clean. Hotel staff were helpful on arrival.

The hotel, restaurant and food were great. However.....my room was far too hot. The air con wouldn't blow out cold air, it was extremely noisy and told me that the temperature in the room was 27 degrees at 3am!

Great hotel, staff really friendly, would recommend it had a great time.

Dont do what other holiday inns do for food ...and not environmentally friendly because they dont do the save the environment room points ..wont be coming back here again

A great city centre hotel with a fantastic old Church attached as a venue. Beautiful.

Absolutely appalling! Avoid this place or at least the room service as we got a bowl of gravy for soup... seriously!

Great venue for a wedding, bar was well stocked and resonably priced

We went for a wedding show it was really good. The only bad thing there wad not any hosts to meet and greet people of where to go up on arrival at reception so we chose a different venue.

Pretty good. Food was great in the restaurant. Breakfast very good too. Room was very comfortable and quiet, although the view of the building site and carpark wasn't the usual view you'd expect.

Lovely hotel and free parking which is great, we had a good buffet breakfast, all freshly cooked food. The staff are attentive, the twin room was spacious and clean and the gym was equipped. Overall very nice hotel

Nice staff, good location. Felt like there were little things that let it down slightly (scuffs on sideboards, things not matching, no air con), but overall a good experience.

The price is far to high to stop there, as the rooms are nothing special. The food is nice, especially the breakfasts, continental and English. Staff are very friendly, convenient location.

Nice hotel with good sized underground car park. Slight irritation of having to be buzzed into hotel from car park. Had to wait quite a while a couple of times. Friendly, helpful staff.

Good service, dinner, room, night's sleep, breakfast - clean - salad bar was a bit tired at the very end of the evening, and the cab service from the front desk was a bit questionable in the morning.

Attended for a wedding fair, seems like a great venue with a churchy feel. Hotel staff were very friendly.

It was very dirty and not many people came, water was not given until prompted and even then it was hard to find cups. Also the music was trunked way to loud in the main hall.

Even one star is too much for this hotel. Very outdated.

Nice and clean. Our room smelled a little of smoke but the staff were lovely and they can t help it if people smoke in there

Nice interior. Friendly staff. Your IHG status will not be recognised and you will not receive any upgrades, unlike other IHG hotels.

Went for work Christmas dinner. Lot of people present but the premises are spacious enough to cope. Drought Guinness would have earned an extra star.

Dated and shabby rooms. Low quality food. But... Really friendly staff

Rooms were okay (we only stayed for one night) and the lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. But what really put me off during our breakfast was watching the service girl setting the tables around us for the lunch service. The tables were visibly dirty /sticky from breakfast service and she just placed the clean napkins and cutlery on the dirty tables. Not only that, but she touched the forks at the end rather at the handle when placing it. Clearly a lack of training, which unfortunately the breakfast lady also failed to pick up on.

5 stars as the service was impeccable. Very polite staff. Great room that was clean and very quiet so able to get a very good nights sleep. Mattress was comfortable. Location is great as in the city centre and staff can provide further info about the locale. Again to repeat the staff are a credit to the hotel and I hope they get recognised and rewarded for the work they put in to provide such a great service.

Rooms are nice and tidy with air condition, stuff very polite. Position is excellent.
