We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It may not be the fanciest place but it is very nice and the staff was exceptional. Our room was huge and had a fireplace (the staff can bring you a special log to burn in the fireplace, great ambiance!) breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. We were celebrating our anniversary and since the hotel knew that there was a beautiful treat for us in our room upon arrival, which was such a nice gesture. Location is fantastic, you walk out right by Lululemon in the village.
My family and I were very excited to stay with Hilton as we do not book hotels often. The room we stayed in had this sign stating it had been cleaned and sanitized for our protection. However, our room was very dusty and we kept sneezing many times during our stay. I am not sure if our room was throughly sanitized as they can't even clean the dust properly around our room. We will not book a room in the future as we would not want to pay for a dusty room again.
Very good service, clean, super friendly people, Spa of 10. I loved.
Hotel bar was gross. Drinks were gross. Pool was nice room was okay. Valet staff were awesome.
Staff were exceptional. The room was gorgeous and room service was delicious
Perfect place to stay in for winter holidays. Heated pools, whirpool, spa, gym, shops nearby and right next to the whistler village. Service is great. If you are planning to stay for a week or more then they have kitchen and the needed utensils to cook and clean as well. They do charge for parking.
Convenient location, friendly front desk staff and, to me, the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Parking is expensive, like all Whistler hotels, but cheaper options are within easy walking distance.
Can't rate the stay as unfortunately couldn't travel and as the room was booked in advance through Air Miles ( who used Expedia) there was no refund. I was told by Air miles to call the hotel directly to see if anything could be done hoping at the busy Christmas time they could rebook the room (at an extremely inflated price). Although the gentleman was very polite there was no bending. I understand that this is the reason you get travel insurance, but with the rates already inflated for the holiday season, and the room type sold out for the night in question (and a week left to be able to rebook it), you would think a big chain could give at least a credit. You would expect better from a leader in hospitality.
Great location and conveniently placed among high traffic area with great access to food, shopping and lifts. The bathrooms roof is showing signs of water damage. Not what i expected at the Hilton. Covid protocols handled and executed well.
The rooms were big and clean very comfortable the only reason i gave a 3 star is because its expensive plus no free breakfast and as for the parking y do you have to pay to park in the hotel parking when your paying over 200 a night plus and additional 33 to park
Close to the mountain. Less than a 5 minute walk to the lift. The room we had at first smelled weird per my pregnant wife, so they upgraded us to a room with a full kitchen and fireplace. Very nice room. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
Outstanding staff and great security. The location cannot be beaten and this Hilton is one of the best.
Here are views from rm 624. The room is good, all necessary things in room like ref, tv. No microwave, only 1 luggage table (the thing that folds). The closet is large enough to get all your bulky jackets and there is also a coat hanger near the door.
On our last night we move to rm 710. The room was basically the same but it's a bit dated. The room ac was noisy, it sound like there is a wind storm coming out of the fan. Otherwise better window view.
Beautiful hotel with attentive staff. Free shuttle to local spas and attraction. Free Wi-Fi and excellent little kitchenette for your stay.
They had free chocolate chip cookies at the front desk
Cinnamon Bear is a fun sports bar with pool and a large projector screen. And escape rooms are a fun indoor activity located inside but overall a standard hotel
Old outdated dirty rooms
Terrible customer service at reception
Internet issues....... Solved with cash I'm sure. Have been staying in Squamish at an affordable hotel for more than two months working remotely, fast open internet, like home (nice, sea to sky) . Things changed and had to stay at the nicer Hilton in Whistler. Admin does the booking not me but, I can do no work via internet or off time FPS games. So with out going to Admin and getting people involved even company email does not work. Nice room.. Bed.. Bath.. Towel.. Same same, but really, the rules network wise must keep an IT person quite busy... Come on its just internet, seems small but please "go pound sand in your router" Have a great weekend all.
It is near from ropeway platform. As room is large, and kitchen is easy to use, it is convenient for long-term stay.
We had a lovely stay. The pool and Sauna is quite nice and hot tub in the winter is always very relaxing. The spa on-site is convenient. We enjoyed drink service by the hot tub. Breakfast was very good, ordering to your room or eating in the restaurant. Perfect location.
Pretty comfortable room, bed was too soft and comforter was a little warm. Functional but small kitchenette. Pretty aight overall.
Wonderful hotel, with great customer service! Have been to others in Whistler but this is by far the best.
Location is amazing. Our room had a fireplace and the views were great. We will definitely stay here again.
Disappointed for two reasons. One, the Lotion and Conditioner in the room was USED... during COVID times this is unacceptable.. everything should be cleaned and swept out from previous guest. When I brought it to the attention of the staff at checkout, I was faced with a man who couldn't care less. Second, I booked a King Balcony, I asked if I could have two beds rather than one.. with a balcony but they did not issue a balcony room.
The mountain view from our balcony was simply stunning when the sun is up! But even with the rain and cloud cover in-between, it is still a sight to behold. Our family of four sure did enjoy our stay here over the weekend. Last Friday was the first time they welcomed guests again after the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 Pandemic forced them to close their doors for 3 months. Signage about maintaining physical distancing, keeping hands clean, and other measures to keep everyone safe abounds in all the common areas. There's hand sanitizer near the elevators and only 15 people are allowed in the heated pool and 3 in the whirlpool. The staff were friendly and eager to have us at the hotel again. Licia, the receptionist that checked us in and out, was really nice and accommodating. She made me us feel valued and was really appreciative of our stay with them. If you are a Hilton Honors member and downloads the app, you can check in and check out through the app, minimizing contact with people in the lobby. Overall, it was a great stay and would definitely consider booking with Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa again!
Staff is super helpful. We got junior suite, and it is very spacious and nice. Great location. The breakfast is terrible.
It was a very nice experience. Especially after a long tiring day of snowboarding.
Usually stay at the Westin, tried out the Hilton, and so far not all too impressed. Front desk put a "rush" on our room and we've still waited 3+ hours. Valet and front desk aren't the friendliest people either. #shouldhavestayedwithstarwood
Staff were friendly and helpful. The spaces that I was in were all spacious and well maintained.
We absolutely love our experience here. The staff were all amazing. The price is descent and the hotel is beautiful! I wish I got the names of the staff that helped us so I could thank them publicly but bravo to all the staff at the Hilton in Whistler.
One of the best 4 stars in whistler
Pros:
Price - I've stayed here several times and this place is routinely cheaper than most competitors
Rooms - The suites with fireplaces are great
Staff - Always friendly and helpful
Cons:
Location - a bit removed from the village
Rooms are a bit dated but still a very nice location in whistler
In the south tower in a renovated room, all of the staff is very helpful, friendly. The location is excellent if you want to be near the Whistler gondola.
Tried calling to better understand how to purchase a gift card for a staying there. After 5 calls, still no one could answer any questions! Phone system is a joke, service (when I actually got to a person) was a joke! Total waste of time and unbearably poor service!
Well cleaned rooms, great views, very close to lifts, nice hot tub, and very accommodating to large groups
Rooms are cozy, a little dated but clean and roomy. The amenities are nice: decent workout room, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi and an outdoor pool. The spa is definitely worth visiting as well. And of course, location right on Whistler village is hard to beat.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights for our one year wedding anniversary July 2020. Everything was clean and tidy. Hand sanitizers were available upon entry. Hotel staff and management were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room we stayed in was amazing. It had a kitchenette and everything that you needed was there. No room turnover due to COVID-19, but they brought us more coffee pods and creamer when we asked. Beds were nice and comfy. Location was great! We were steps away from the village. The pool was open and had reduced capacity due to covid (we didn t get a chance to go though)
Their cleanstay initiative and partnership with Lysol made us feel that our health and safety was looked after. We loved it so much that we are booked in for another stay this summer! We definitely will stay again and can t recommend them enough. Thank you Hilton for making our stay such a great experience!
Disappointed. Hot tub not working. Cold pool. Toilet malfunction. Quiet place to sleep.
Lovely location right in the middle of the village, right by the gondola and lifts. Rooms are in great condition and the food in the hotel bar/grill is pretty decent. And finally, the pool is plenty sufficient. It's not going to be great for swimming laps, but it's lovely on a hot summer day to cool off.
Hilton has a special vibe to it, largely because of this Sweedish Apres party they do which brings in the hipsters and slackers from the mountain. I don't think there is anywhere in Whistler that can pack in an entire mountain full of hipsters, slackers and snow boarders under one roof as successfully as the Hilton. If your a snow boarder this is your scene. Do I like it ? It has got to be a little too large for my taste over the years. A little too big for my taste. But whatever. Enjoy.
The bar was a great spot for some apres or pre-dinner drinks.
Loving the room as it will accommodate two couples comfortably with its two separate bedrooms and baths and sauna. Has full kitchen and three TV's, awesome!
Very rude check in staff. Room was cold and No extra blanket provided. Only extra duvet cover that had blood stains on it. Toaster was broken and stovetop not functioning properly ( only small burners working not the full burner ). Very difficult to find entrance from village. No proper signs. Not worth the very high prices.
Great hotel. Very convient kitchen with kitchenware.
There was no fridge in our hotel room which was kind of s bummer and the hotel room was very expensive. They gave us free parking which was nice of them
This resort recently changed hands from Hilton. It's a really nice place and the staff was really friendly. They have a warm water slide that the kids loved. Highly recommended!
Could use little refreshing, but staff very nice and hotwire price was excellent. Parking 36 is a little much
Was pretty g. Nothing too special but like there was nothing to complain about. Not something to be excited about but a hotel you can be happy about
Very clean, and comfortable. The only negative is I could clearly hear the conversation next door.
Very clean... during these uncertain times the hotel has protocols in place. It was great to stay there.
absolutely amazing customer service, and all the staff is very friendly.
We had the suite with the jacuzzi. It wasn t the same as the photo here. I suggest you pray before you enter in. We had room 333 and the balcony has no privacy and it was haunted. Weird feeling, the jacuzzi is manual but it is Puod run by itself. The staffs were ok. The bell man people didn t come so we took our baggage s ourselves.
Room smells like fish. We had a room facing the village and not noise proof, as a result there was no sleep as the noise from the parties was unbearable. If that is not enough had the misfortune to have the next room leave their TV/radio so loud I was sure the radio was on in my room (which it wasn't).
All in all no sleep.
This is by far the best place we've stayed
big room with kitchen and central location to Village try the Irish pub they have live music every afternoon Food in the Hilton is very good
August 20th to 2nd I stayed with my group at the Whistler Hilton Resort and Spa and I was impressed by the wonderful service we got, no matter who we came into contact with. The receptionists, the bell captains, the room attendants, the restaurant manager and staff, and , last but definitely not least the concierges, all were charming, efficient and helpful. Thank you all for making our stay such a wonderful experience.
Great location with everything else, especially the fully equipped kitchen.
Best hotel in whistler with excellent service.
Room was good with king size bed and kitchenette.
The best thing was pool and hot tub.
I recommend this hotel to everyone
You will get the best service you re looking for!
Very clean resort, friendly staff, self parking was expensive though, I believe it was $38 self parking
Nice suite, clean room, great location in the village. Balcony would be terrific!
Staff here is amazing and helpful. Clean rooms. Love the pool and hot tub. Great stay all around.
I'd give them no stars if I could... My husband and I got married a year ago, and haven't been able to afford a honeymoon, so we booked a room for a couple of days at the Hilton in Whistler to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, my father fell ill and was dying, so we had to change our plans to be with him. I called to see if we could move our reservation to another time, and was flat out refused. The guy who answered the phone even said he didn't believe that my father was dying. Zero compassion, bad customer service
Room was awesome and super clean, bed was SO comfy and also the location was fantastic. The people at the front desk were very kind. I never checked out the restaurant or ordered room service but besides that everything was amazing and I would definitely recommend!
Best washrooms in the village. Full length doors on stalls!
The restaurant inside is decent, but really expensive
Extremely clean n well organized with the Hotel rooms, pool coordination can be slightly better
Love whistler!, Hilton was very good, perfect location in the village making it easy to access everywhere. They had great amenities, would totally stay here again.
People walking around hotel in underwear. Loud music during a festival near our room.
Great location in the centre of the village, rooms a little dated but OK, staff engaging and friendly
Correct, you must pay to park $ 40 too. Bon Steak House inside. Well located, at the foot of the telehuevo to go to Peak to Peak, a triple funicular with incredible views
The location is great! Right in the village, and extremely close to the gondola to get up the mountain. Rooms were very nice and we were treated well by staff!
Great location. Nice amenities such as a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Great service.
