Going to go again!
Awesome place to go, whether or not you have kids, for Halloween and I think Thanksgiving when in the ABQ area.
Went on field trip with 1st grade class was disappointed to see that none of the trains were operating, no pig races, castle not open, not all restaurants were open, no kart races, kids had to go on hayride first thing and then had to carry pumpkins around all day due to buses not available to put them in.
Open for business!!!! Must buy tickets online because of GONM orders. Most things are open.
Went early to the haunted house but never got in. At midnight we had to leave to get kids home by curfew. Waisted a chunk of $$$ just to stand around waiting! WTH!
I honestly don t know how this place has anywhere near 5 stars. I believe the five star reviews have been paid for or written by employees. A $30 experience earns you hours of waiting. The only way to enjoy this place is a $50 VIP pass and skip all the lines, which at that point you will realize the attractions here are subpar and not worth half the price of admission. If you want to waste $50 dollars and a couple hours you should really consider this place.
Great place to bring your kids to find a pumpkin! The pumpkins were enormous this year! They also have fun slides, a goat/sheep petting zoo, corn maze... It's an all day event!
Great family outing with many activities (small petting zoo, slides, pig races, bouncy place, and more) for younger kids, haunted hay ride for kid to adult crowd and pumpkin picking and food for all. Prices inside the park are a little high for food like many amusement places but it is unique in its offering and well laid out so well worth the price of admission.
Oversold tickets for haunted farm feature, long waits, no refunds
I absolutely love this place. My family and I go every year. We start the morning out there and they have lots to do. Petting area, kids play area, go karts, big slide, pumpkin launch, corn maze and my favorite panning for beautiful rocks. It's for kids of all ages. The best part is taking the the hay ride over to the pumpkin patch and everyone picks their own pumpkin. They have a place you can sit and eat. You can bring your own food, but I'd rather eat there they have a pretty decent menu. Hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries everything is good and decent price. They also have a candy shop there with lots of fudge. I recommend this to anyone who wants to have a fall day full of fun!!
So much walking, the food was great. Alot to see ! Lots of pumpkins to pick from. Over all had a fantastic Saturday.. thank you McCall's Pumpkin Patch..
Pretty fun place...we can see and even touch goats, pigs, bunnies, and horses.
McCall's pumpkin patch is an awesome place to take the family!!! There are so many things to keep the little ones busy. Food prices are reasonably at a very high quality. For a family of five we managed to have fun at a great price. We will be coming back and recommend you take your family for a whole day of fun and games.
Doing all they can to provide families with fun, outdoor activities in compliance with the crazy rules for Covid. We bought a pie making pumpkin and made the BEST pie ever.
We arrived right around the opening time for the haunted events (~6:30 pm) and only bought tickets for the haunted corn maze. We waited for HOURS to go through one attraction. We finally got to go in around 11:20 pm. The corn maze was enjoyable, but waiting for hours to walk 5 minutes was annoying. If you insist on going, buy the VIP pass because otherwise they treat could care less about you and how long you have to wait.
Even during this pandemic McCall's Pumpkin patch was exceptional! They did a great job with what was available. Sanitation stations everywhere, amazing food and a great corn maze!
We LOVE McCalls Pumpkin Patch! We make an effort to go every year. My 4 children from 2-11 each love it for different reasons. From the slide in a hill to the rabbits and the hayride to pick a pumpkin straight from the field, to the confusing walk through the corn maze. They also love the new addition of the the fort. There are so many activities to choose from, there is even something for mom: coffee and homemade (on the farm) FUDGE!
It s fun to go my family loves to go every year. My wife and my daughters have lots of fun!
Great family experience, only thing is the turkey legs are a hot item that they can keep up with demand. Very delicious tho.
McCalls has a decent run of fall activities but it's far, the prices are a bit high for the quality of the experiences and souvenirs.
Best halloween haunted field in new mexico great food as well
Being relatively new to New Mexico, I was ecstatic when I found a pumpkin patch relatively close to ABQ. When we got there, though, we discovered just how huge it really was. It was great fun, with lots to do, especially for kids. My only complaint is that they didn't really have a map of where everything was located since it could get harder to navigate around when there are lots of crowds. Overall, though, this will become our go-to fall destination.
They did a great job of cleaning that we saw and having hand sanitizer everywhere. No indoor activities but plenty to do everywhere!
Super fun! Some attractions are closed for the 2020 season because of Covid. But there still lots of fun things to do. The money spent does add up, so make sure you have enough for all the little things, like drinks, food, train rides, goat food.
My kids love coming here In the fall to pick pumpkins
Expensive and Boring! Try to have fun standing around and waiting hours for a lame attraction that lasts only a few minutes. Overrated.
What can I say McCall's is the best! While living in Pecos, NM we went every year beginning in 2003. As did the Pumpkin patch our family grew and In 2005 our oldest daughter made her first trip as a 5 month old.Beginning in 2007 our visits per year doubled as we celebrated our second daughter's birthday at the farm.
In 2010 we moved to Colorado and now plan our visit back to NM around a trip to the farm. Great memories, great fun, great food, great family, great staff and our favorite Fall activity (by a long shot!). Keep up the good work McCall Family!!
We went for the first time yesterday and all 4 of us LOVED it! There is so much to see and do. Animals to see and feed, bounce houses, games, jumping bubbles, ropes course, corn pit, slides, a castle with a prince and princesses, pig racing, pumpkin launching, huge playground, delicious food, and of course the amazing corn maze and pumpkin patch that you ride to on a tractor pulled wagon. Mom and Dad had as much fun as the kids! Will be a yearly tradition from now on. Thanks McCall's.
We spent from 10am to 5pm (with 2 young kids who didn't want to leave) and though you can spend a lot here we felt it was worth it. After admission you don't need to spend more if you don't want to, other than if you want to buy pumpkins. Of course that means bring your own food, but we feel the food there is worth trying!
Its a great outdoor adventure place for adults and young ones. Loved getting lost in the corn maze. Disappointed that the pig races were not on. They were so clean and careful with sanitizing every thing.
Great place to bring your family. Very fun for the kids. Will be back next year.
I went with my family on October 12,Nobody was wearing masks plus the beans were so black.Nobody was cleaning the big chair after somebody was done sitting on it.No Covid safe restrictions.
Excellent place to take the family. This was my first trip and it was great. Tons to do for all ages. I will definitely go back!
We spent $70 and landed up just waiting in lines. We waited an hour in the line of cars to get in, and 2 hours for the haunted maze but we never got in. They might consider selling less tickets for a single night.
Incredible Place, Great For Kids and Adults!!! Why are you not open for 4th of July and Christmas!!!
Some say it is expensive but there is so much to do. The price accounts for everything they have.
Only dropped the kids off but it looks great! The kids loved it.
Money pit. You pay $15 a person just to get in the door, then wait in a line for hours to get on a hay ride that takes you to the pumpkin patch, where you can pay more money for your pumpkins. Too many rude people, and too much commercialism. You have to pay extra for most of the other activities like fire pits and mechanical bull, and the food is overpriced. We left without any pumpkins and drove down the road to Wee Bee Picking instead - much nicer place! Never coming back to McCalls again.
First time here! Absolutely love it. Plan to be here for 2-4 hours to be able to enjoy all the activities. Friendly staff and relaxing environment
So much fun, definitely added to my familys yearly traditions!
I enjoy going here every Halloween thank you for a good scare I suggest this place for every Halloween
This is probably the best pumpkin patch we have been to. There are tons of activities, and the whole family had a great time.
Fun place for the family. Only open on the weekends. Be sure to go last weekend in September. Not crowded and cheaper. You can take your own food and water too.
It s a great place to work and play around Halloween time the mc Calls are the best people to meet and to know
Money pit with ridiculous lines and wait times, costs money just to get in, then everything else is more on top of that
Always growing and always fun. Bring snacks because stuff is expensive food and drink wise.
I took my Great-Nephew to McCall's for the first time last year and he had a wonderful time! He had never been to any type of farm and although a little frightened at first of the corn maze, at the finish he wanted to go again. Even though I took him under the spurious reasoning that it was strictly educational for him, but I do admit that I was also going for myself & my inner child's delight as well...
Usually I don't leave reviews, especially bad ones, but McCall's has changed and not for the better. It is a total money pit. We got there around 7:30 pm wanting to visit the regular corn maze, as we had done in years past. We were told only the haunted maze was available, so we decided to try it since we came for the maze anyway. We were told it would be a two hour wait, again, we thought that would be ok, McCall's is busy. We went and got some food, and walked around the gift shop. After an hour waiting it started to get cold so we went to the fire pits. It cost $50 extra to use them!! Not willing to spend more money, we found a hay bail and just hung out. Another hour passes, and our number was still not up on the screen so we decided to wait in the car to at least warm up. After passing numerous teenagers getting drunk in the parking lot we made it back to the car and waited another hour. On our way back toward the maze we were sure our number would be up, after waiting 3 hours for a 2 hour estimate. We got to the corn field and our number was still not even close to being called. After talking to the lady admitting people, she told us "yea, it will be about a two hour wait." Seriously?? 5 hours just to go through the corn maze???? We left after that and will not be back. There are no refunds, tickets are only good the night of, and it was a waste of time and money.
TL:DR
Place is a money pit and we will never go back. We spent over $80, didn't go through the maze like we had paid for, no refunds, ridiculous wait times, and you have to pay extra for the fire pits.
We enjoyed ourselves, butt didn't seem as fun as in years past. May try it again next year.
Fun for kids but don't go if you are worries about covid. No mask enforcement or social distancing.
Usually i dont complain, but we were disappointed with our visit at Mccalls. We took my daughter and god son for the first time and it was an ok experience. Pretty much everything was closed, over priced and the staff was very very rude! When bringing it up to a supervisor it seemed like she didnt care. We wont be returning in the future!
Heads up - you must pay $17 to enter the patch! Once you're in, there's an amazing selection of pumpkins. They will set you back an additional $10 per pumpkin. Fun corn maze. Funny goats. Unfriendly staff.
Such a great day spent with our family. Lots of activities and fun stuff for the kids...
We can't wait to take our annual trip back to McCall's Pumpkin Patch this year! Me and my husband and two children are looking forward to all the great games, activities, fabulous maze and hay ride that you put together each year. Thank you for the fun opportunity that you put together each year for hundreds of families, we can't wait to go this year!
Wow I couldn't believe the amount of people and they so called are doing social distancing it was jam packed .so much for getting rid 9f the covid epidemic we are going through May God help us!!
Best place!!! It is not fall until we ve visited McCalls. It has been a family tradition for 5 years now. A bit expensive, but really-it s so worth it!!!!
Don't ever go for a field trip. Nothing but disappointment for the kids. Staff is overly rude and don't seem to like children at all. Food is horrible. The "system" to get your bad over priced food is ridiculous and will be cold once you are done walking the maze of getting yelled at by staff. The potential of it being a great place is there but so far ever one I've spoken to that works there is a real a hole
If you have never been ..you must go ..it is a great place for the family ..
Best pumpkin patch I've ever been to! So many activities for kids of all ages.
A great way to spend the day out of the house.
There is so much to see and do, my friend and I spent over 4 hours just walking around and doing the activities. It can be a bit pricey during this time of October, but the prices are very good!
Fun stuff for all ages, especially the corn pit!!!!
They honor our Second Amendment rights!!!
Clean family fun during the day with all American farm festivities. The folks are friendly. The bathrooms are clean. There's plenty of parking and seating. They allow you to bring your lunch to help save some money.
My only beef is the confusing freeway exit. I wish the city would put up a freeway sign to guide patrons to the correct exit because if you get off the wrong exit, it's like a 14 mile u-turn process to get back.
This was our 1st time at McCall's. It was a fabulous experience and will become an annual tradition for me and my growing family. My husband and I took our 8 year old god-daughter and our 4 year old and 1 1/2 year old sons. Everyone had a blast and there was fun and interesting things for all the age groups. Next year we will add one more to our family (14 weeks pregnant today). Halloween is my favorite holiday and I'm so glad that McCall's is a place for old and young to have some fun.
They say online that they are limiting the amount of tickets they sell. Perhaps it normally looks like Times Square on New Year s Eve? I was shocked when I showed up and saw a mostly full parking lot and packed farm. I ve been 3 times over the years, and it was the most crowded visit, by far. I appreciate their efforts in cleaning and leaving hand sanitizer everywhere, but people just don t wear their mask correctly (or at all in some cases), and they stand wayyy to close in line. I should have known better, but I expected lessened crowds.
Love this place! The corn maze was actually I little hard
If you want to go on a small day trip with someone and take some cute pictures this is definitely the place to go. It is only about an hour away from Albuquerque which is great! I have gone to both the pumpkin patch (daytime event) and the scary farm (nighttime event) and I can definitely say that if you are easily spooked do not go to the scary farm. The pumpkin patch is definitely geared more towards children since it has lots of different activities for kids like sandpits, playgrounds, and a cow train, but adults can have fun there too. If you go to the pumpkin patch I recommend getting on the train it is very fun. I also recommend taking the 1/2 mile walk out to the big pumpkin patch, the scenery is nice. Since it is more family-friendly, there are many places to stop and take cute pictures. The scary farm was not my cup of tea but for people who like scary things, this might be a good adrenaline rush. Beware of the clowns that follow you around. Both events have plenty of places to eat and many gift shops. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is also not a nightmare! If you are planning on going, I recommend the pumpkin patch, it is a lot more fun.
This place offers no refunds... Because they know you'll want one. If you're not "VIP" you're gonna have a bad time. If we would have known that general admission doesn't allow you to attend attractions, we would've payed the extra ten bucks. Your business model sucks. Luckily you have enough drunk high schoolers to keep your lights on, losers.
We had an absolute blast!!! There is sooo much to do and see! The goats are awesome and the corn maze was so much fun. With a 2 and 4 year old we had about 2 and a half hours before they were worn out! Great place with lots of food choices!
Great haunted barn and corn field. Make sure you go with a group of friends because you'll enjoy it more. One thing to be aware of-- no security in the parking lot. My car was vandalized because of political bumper stickers... Moriarty is full of rednecks.
McCall s is amazing in the day for you and your kids to go pick some pumpkins and do tons of other stuff and it s amazing at night for anyone older looking for a haunted Halloween expierence in either the haunted barn or corn maze
