This is one of the nicer Hilton s I have stayed at. The rooms are modern and clean. The front desk staff was always helpful to get a taxi or point you in the right direction to things. There aren t many restaurants nearby but you are only about 15 minutes from the city center and in good weather you can walk the distance. There is a Costco nearby and the food at the restaurant is good. My rate also included a full breakfast buffet which was quite good as well. I d stay here again.

Very poor service and very abrupt and rude staff did not want to address the problem, when spoke to Matheau and Marie who was the front office manager, they were totally unhelpful and unprofessional ...They simply ruined a very special occasion and not even an apology.Always recommended the hotel to everyone but not anymore. The worst hotel to stay in.

Had a short break with hubby last year. We stayed for 2nights and from the front desk staff to house keeping, everyone was so kind, warm and helpful. The food was great too. The atmosphere was awesome and we used the gym which was really cool. Loved it! Fingers crossed will visit again soon

The hotel facilities are modern, clean and nice. Room has a desk, good enough if you need to work, wifi is fine. Very convinient that there is an undeground free parking wich we used with pleasure :). A reception manager in the morning was nice and friendly to us, although another one in the evening wasn't so welcoming, and they forgot about our "wake up" call. And a little improvement I would recommend - sockets are somewhere under the bed, my husband had to crowl to find one, and they are not a standard UK type . No USB chargers in the room either. Otherwise all the rest was good enough

Did not stay in a room. I was here for a conference, rooms were nicely air conditioned staff where helpful and discrete, spoke to staff at restaurant due to allergies and they whipped me up my own dish with no fuss (there was a buffet) Post conference we were in the bar for a few hours staff were attentive and well mannered.

Stopped here to meet travelling colleagues before a work conference. Good location for our meeting. Only really used and visited the bar, it was clean and tidy. Service was welcoming and attentive but the decor and ambiance is a little bland and sterile. Too many loud talking suits getting excited and very animated by the end of the afternoon though.

Lovely spacious lobby with impressive chandelier cascading down from the ceiling . We loved the Christmas tree ( shame it was isolated in the corner ). The rooms are nice, clean with speaker with nice sound in the bathroom. Swimming pool and spa were the main reason we booked the hotel. The hairdryer was strong enough to dry wet hair from the pool. The welcome dish of profiteroles are a nice touch but not covered made them not edible ( food safety hazard). As for the spa centre -mixed feelings .... They have this silly rule that kids under the age of 16 can not swim in the pool without an adult!!!! Can you imagine a grown up boy of 15 not being able to swim alone in a pool no deeper than 1.30m ??!!! The spa facilities are not amazing but adequate for a business hotel. The staff ( reception, manager on duty ) was very friendly , understanding and helpful.

Awful experience... highly suggest the front desk staff go in for some re-training on customer service skills and communication. Very unhelpful. It was a battle to get checked in with extremely poor communication skills. Ordered room service, brought up the wrong order which was also cold. No interest from the front desk other than, "I'll have to look into it" Not up to the usual Hilton standards.. will not be using this location again for myself or our staff members.

Pretty good experience. Comfortable and mostly quiet, even on the main road side. Only marking down because small details like the TV being unplugged and awkward to plug back in again, fridge being switched off. However the speaker in the bathroom was a nice touch. Never sat on a loo and listened to Carol Kirkwood's weather forecast with such clarity before!

Pretty standard as far as Hilton's go. You get exactly what you expect. It's nice and clean and comfortable. A bit frustrating that you can't order from the main menu in the bar area - sometimes you don't want to sit in a restaurant, especially when you're staying regularly.

Spacious and clean. Unfortunately equipment provided by ACCA examination had lots to desire for. Finally we weren't squeezed like sardines, like in the case of horrendous Pavilion Reading, but cords taped to the carpet and warning about not stretching our legs under the desks during the exam as it might cut the exam short for everyone, said it all.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Service with a smile, clean and comfortable rooms and a restaurant that produces mouthwatering dishes! The hotel staff are always eager to provide top class service and go over and above board to make your stay as wonderful and lovely as possible.

Lovely hotel. The room was a nice size and very clean. The team were great, I had an issue at the start of my stay but it was fixed straight away with no problems whatsoever. Everyone was really polite and friendly. I will be returning to this hotel in the future.

Was here yesterday evening for a charity event. I was impressed from start to finish. Decor, staff and food were fantastic. The evening was well hosted and well organised. Highly recommend this hotel if requiring a place to stay in Reading!!!

Very welcoming clean spacious reception area. Reception staff well dress and friendly as are the room service and cleaning staff. Rooms sanitised to a high standard. Room service available and prompt. Food very nice but slightly over priced. Underground carpark with plenty of spaces. Close to a main carriageway but you can't hear any noise in your room on this side of the hotel. Great hotel. Would recommend staying here.

We worked here over the weekend for the Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue event and had a fabulous experience. Installing our table centres was a breeze and was a great addition to their stunning event space. We cannot wait to return for the next event!

When my friend and I checked in, everything was perfect. However, if you re not put down as a member staying in said room-they literally treat you like a criminal. Get back after a night out wanting some food.. if you re not with the person that paid for the room.. you are buggered.

Excellent hotel and customer service. The housekeepers also do an exceptional job. Spacious rooms and attentive service. The cafe, Fidget and Bob, which is a minutes walk from the hotel is the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks! The only thing I feel this hotel could do with is a vending machine. All in all, 5 stars!

Overall very pleasant. Room was comfortable, food was good and facilities as you would expect. I think the nightly rate for superior rooms is too much for what you get and I was a bit baffled that there are still hotels that charge for Wifi.

Excellent spa day with treatments. Staff were friendly and helpful and pool etc was clean. Would have given 5 stars had the receptionist not given me a thin scratchy towel from under the counter and not one of the fluffy ones on show

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable rooms quite contemporary. However, we and others felt the evening meal let the hotel down. The food was cheap and overcooked. Very disappointed!!!! The staff were uninterested and busy chatting. We had no cutlery and rifled other tables. Breakfast was fine and the staff pleasant and most helpful. Just being honest

My second home when working away. Spent 30+ nights here in the last 12months and all have been problem free. Rooms are all contemporary, clean and spacious. As hotels go the food is good, if a little pricey when delivered to your room. Gym and parking also available on-site. Short drive from the centre of Reading.
