Completed my PADI Advanced Open Water course, this was after it was rescheduled due to bad weather. The communications with respect to rebooking's and making it up to the dive accommodation was perfect, the atmosphere and the group were very welcoming and had people of all experience levels and ages, the training course was well managed with a clear focus of safety and doing things right. the surface interval lunch and dinner post dive was a lovely break workweek.
We were hosted by lovely folks up at Northland dive and the team spirit and stories shared made for good memories.

Booked a dive weekend to check out the HMNZS Canterbury and nearby reefs, totally surpassed my expectations and everyone I dealt with was great. Very slick operation with everything done to the highest standard, even the rental gear was top notch. Thanks everyone at global dive! Will be back for sure.

My partner and I have recently moved to New Zealand and are very keen divers. We were unsure of what to expect of the Auckland diving scene. We had a chat with a few shops and then came in to see the guys at Global.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival and almost immediately had a decent cup of tea in hand. We began chatting away about the ins and outs of our own diving practices. Recent trends within the diving community and the big question What s the diving like here?

It was evident that the team had a wealth of experience in every conceivable area of the diving industry from deep technical and cave diving to how to properly teach divers at entry level. more important was their focus and investment towards giving people the opportunity to engage with this activity after their course. A rare commodity in the world of diving education!

We met for a club night after chatting in store and were amazed at how strong the shops community base was. All ages, experience levels and abilities were in one place, the clubs members regularly dive together and it is a great example of how diving can be more than just another past time.

I look forward to getting involved this summer and thereafter. If I had to sum up my thoughts on global dive and its members I would say that you would not find a better shop here! These guys care as much about your own diving experience as you do and they have the tools and the ability to make it happen!

I did my open water dive course, 2 week ago! it was such a bless! all my instructors - Anna, Louise(sorry if I spelt it wrong) and Mike are super experienced and patient, somehow my ability of learning while I was under water was ridiculously low, but all of them were showing me over and over again made sure that I know what am I doing, and also they are passionate about conservation and marine environment doing their bits to promote Marine Conservation and be a responsible diver. Once again! thank you very much team ! you guys are awesome !

Great place to shop for quality gear, and even better place to learn to dive. These guys really know what they're doing and help their students succeed. They also host lots of dive trips all around and a monthly dive club.

my friend and I walked in wanting to buy several freediving fins and masks and we were standing in the area for some time but no one was available to talk to us, so we approached one of the salesman who was in the computer and he was not willing to talk to us it felt like talking to a robot for the entire conversation just no enthusiasm at all

These guys are friendly and took me in when no other companies in auckland would teach me the dry suit course in summer, as there weren't any other students. Highly recommend this crew for tec diving but also recreational, Dave knows a lot about tec.

Really knowledgeable staff who have lots of time to support you with getting the right gear. Highly recommended.

I loved my experience with them so much that I immediately signed up for the Advanced Open Water and Dry Suit course.

During the last day of our Open Water Course, we saw dolphins
They dived and swam with us for hours. It was such a unique experience. So glad to finally be part of this fab community.

The team at Global Dive is excellent and friendly. Student numbers are small and the instructors take personal interest in the students and teach everyone at their own pace...
Recommend for Dive gear purchases as well and servicing of equipment. Also excellent to dive after the course as part of continuing advancement and experience.

Really helpful staff and lots of gear options, especially on the tech and rebreather side. Definitely the place to go if your into more than just diving for kai.

I did the Open Water course at Global Dive in Augustus and I loved it. It was fun, personal and they adjusted the pace to every students needs. The group was small as well, which is a huge advantage in my opinion, and which keeps things interesting as well. They did a lot of effort in order for everybody to get things right without boring others, they did so by giving them other skills to practice in the meantime!
Their personal and fun approach made me decide to do the advance course as well, wich happens to be at one of the best divespots in the world: the Poor Knights!

walked in twice for some equipment but different salesperson provided shockingly conflicting advices, personally I'm not convinced they are professional enough.

You can find almost everything. Affordable prices. Very friendly. I like to go there a lot

Bought a new, fitted drysuit but delivery time was "about 8 weeks". However, I was quite blown away with the pre-delivery assistance and support. I needed to get in dives for trimix training and Andrew ensured me he'd help me out. He certainly did! Numerous loans of a suit to me were always met with "not a problem" and I did push the needy button as I needed hours on my CCR before training. Seven weeks later, it arrived and it works wonders. Best yet, it is DRY and comfortable. Great Santi suit, superb service and always friendly welcomes from all the staff at Global. Top marks from me!

the salesman Dave is certainly not the best we ve seen.. not friendly and patient at all.. better go to other dive shops

Poor attitude. I asked a few questions and didn t want to answer. It s better to go to another store

With my last dive being three years ago, I decided to do my refresher with Global Dive and it was a great experience. Our instructor Sam was very patient and took a lot of time to explain everything - e. g. choosing the right gear, doing all necessary checks and helping yourself underwater. Thanks a lot! I feel much safer now and can definitely recommend them.

I had a very positive experience here. Just rented some gear for the weekend and they have good rates. The process was smooth and they really know the gear and the waters. Coming from tropical climates, I wasn't so sure how much insulation I'd need, but they estimated and guessed my wetsuit size accurately on the first try. My dives were very comfortable the whole time, despite others in my group getting cold.
