Very good welcoming when I arrived at the hotel, quick and check in and the room was immaculate

Bad customer service, called to change the room and the answer was "you are here only for work, why change room".
Did not expect this from a high Hotel as the Hilton one.
Ruined me all the experience in the Hilton.
Really sad.

Beautiful clean spacious room. Staff were charming, accommodating and friendly.

I went last week and there were suspicious brown lumps of muck in the steam room - I was going to report but a staff member was not around. The gym is also tiny and gets busy with all the hotel guests.

I attended a function there. It's a newish hotel and much as expected. Food was very good as was the service. I did not stay overnight so have dropped a star only because I cannot comment on the rooms or other services. The car park isn't fully adequate for functions though I managed to find a space myself but others struggled.

Great rooms: large windows, good air conditioning, no noise from other guests. Would reccomend the buffet breakfast too. Great selection of food.

Stayed here during lockdown for work reasons . Was obviously very quiet but felt safe with all the precautions in place. Price was very reasonable for what was there. Only bad point was the noisy road outside the window, but can't say it woke me up during the night.

Pillows were to soft u put ur head down into the pillow and u sink in them I think u need firmer pillows

Honestly couldn't give these a better rating I've honestly never experienced the service these guys give i just loved everything minute room was amazing service was amazing.... Only problem i can say is the bar is a bit over priced but you expect it with a upper class hotel

Good property that meets the Hilton standard. Bar is airy and open and the staff is friendly. One star off as they location does not have an executive lounge. Rooms are clean although in more than 8 stays in the past year I've never had a room that has a shower that doesn't leak all over the floor after a 6 minute shower.

A great experience and was looked after very well from start to finish. Sergio was fantastic at check in. Location is perfect as it is a stone throw away from Reading Central and the Orcale Shopping district. I would recommend this hotel to all

I stay here regularly as this is a modern, clean hotel where the staff provide excellent service. Every time I have a query it is dealt with very swiftly and nothing is ever too much trouble. I would certainly recommend this hotel. Both breakfast and dinner is superb.

Great hotel. Staff are excellent. Just the car park has small spaces and narrow drive ways. Dont take your big car.

Hotel in general very comfortable etc but bad experience was specifically due to a fire drill conducted at 8am on a sunday morning. I get hilton are required to conduct these drills once or twice a year, but as somebody who has paid for a good nights sleep, I think it's fair that Hilton should at least compensate those affected by something they are required to do. Disappointed really as I didn't get what I paid for... a good night's sleep.

Nice hotel. Clean with friendly staff. Food is really good, tasty steaks but wasn t impressed with the mushroom ravioli. They have a decent gym, pool, sauna and steam room.

Great Hotel in an easy to reach location, whether you are driving or using other forms of transport, boasting wheelchair access from both the main entrance and underground car park, together with spacious and inviting dining and bar areas. The premises also has 2 banqueting areas, gym and pool which includes a sauna. There is also a very practical and versatile selection of rooms to choose from which will suit the needs of all. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in Reading.

It is as to be expected a top quality hotel. Its presented at the highest standard and the staff are very helpful, informative and polite. My only criticism is the price of the drinks, it's a kings ransom for a round which did take the shine off everything else a bit. Sorry.

Only stayed over for one night as had a early appointment the following day. Hotel was fantastic from the moment you walked in greeted by the reception staff and helped with all my needs. We didn't stay for dinner as we had reservations in town but we did have drinks in the bar on return . All the staff were happy and polite.

Really nice venue for weddings and has parking. Staff are very helpful except for the manager who was soo rude and stopped the wedding reception I was attending. He was not professional at all and really ruined the night for everyone. The Manager could have dealt with the issue in much better way instead of throwing his weight around and shouting at guests and his own staff. The Hilton brand should be ashamed of this Manager. Real let down to Hilton hotels.

Clean, spacious rooms. Welcoming and professional team upon arrival. Concierge booked a taxi for us to venture out in the evening no problem. However, I feel compelled to point out when directed and sat at a dirty table for breakfast we had to ask to be moved. Surprised the waitress didnt notice (maybe she didnt care) as the table had clearly not been wiped as there was traces of food on both the table AND the floor around our feet. For me, this dropped an overall star. Aside from this, breakfast (buffet style) was surprisingly tasty and i even went back for seconds. Despite the hiccup at breakfast, we would definitely stay here again.

Modern hotel with well-appointed rooms and good facilities. A couple of miles outside the centre of Reading but only a short drive or bus journey away. Rooms are air-conditioned with bath/shower and mini-fridge, but King rooms have a 6ft bed which is two 3ft beds pushed together, with the inevitable centre sag between the two. Breakfast service is good, with a fairly reasonable spread of hot and cold food, with eggs cooked to order. There's a gym with small indoor pool, which has always been quiet when I've wanted to use it. It's not a luxurious hotel, but perfectly adequate as a weekend break and a base to explore this part of the country. I'd return and am happy to recommend it.

Decent priced Hilton in reading, about 5-6 min taxi ride from bars and restaurants. good breakfast, clean tidy rooms. Perfect for a business trip or a couple of nights away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the hotel bar is decent.

Car park off to the left of the entrance fairly concealed. Nice helpful staff in a modern hotel setting. I'm only giving it four stars as a personal preference for old buildings.

(The text of this review is being left AFTER the response, just for clarity). I enjoy using the Hilton for events. I would have liked to have given 5 stars, but we had a lot of trouble with the AV connection (which has worked fine before). The endless help we were provided to try absolutely everything to eventually get it working was exemplary. It all worked fine in the end. Arguably it should be 5 stars... and hopefully the explanation will allow people to have the clarity. And above all, we'll definitely be back many tims in the future. Thank you to the excellent team.

Modern hotel with spacious rooms, tidy and clean. Great service with some great staff. Breakfast has plenty of choices to choose from and view are descent.

Excellent hotel stayed last night. Having to work through covid this hotel has maintained and excellent standard and still ensures their guests are treated well. Offering excellent food service which is rare at the present time and if your having to travel to work in delivering needed service this makes a bug difference. Rooms are at an excellent standard of cleanliness and very comfortable. Staff polite professional and holding a training event in the hotel where extremely helpful thank you

Before I go into some details the highlights of this hotel are:
1. Superb cleanliness
2. Outstanding customer service

I had some bad experience staying at other Hilton's and Hilton group hotels but this one restored my faith that they actually can get it right.

I think other hotel managers should be sent here for training to see how it should be.

Spot on cleanliness, and I've checked every corner, under the bed etc. Nice.

Nice, polite, well trained staff be it behind the reception desk or restaurant.

Comfy bed, good standard room equipment, reliable WiFi, decent complimentary car park.

Only thing I've missed during my stay was a closed down swimming pool till November and no buffet style breakfast.

I understand that you had to close your buffet breakfast and move to table service but please provide more variety/choices for people with a specific dietary requirements e.i. vegetarian, Halal, kosher etc.

Great stay! Lovely staff, who happily changed our room. Lovely menu for lunch and dinner however could do with more vegan and vegetarian options. Other than that, nothing to improve. Can't fault the hotel. Would recommend.

Great hotel which is a home from home. The food in the restaurant was exceedingly good. Only downside was the service on reception at times was slow despite seemingly have more than enough staff milling behind the desk.

Rather stay in a Premier Inn. Restaurant is serving children's food for dinner, burgers and wings. Took 30 mins to get a menu in my room for room service to discover this was the case. I regret not booking a different hotel at this stage. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Absolutely NOT the quality of a Hilton.. Rather a holiday Inn express.

They have this service where they text you asking how everything is, and you can order via text. It felt like I was staying at a 7 star hotel! They also gave us a free upgrade! The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was really comfortable. All in all, it was a lovely stay! Perfect. Thank you and keep it up!!!

I attanded a conference in Hilton Hotel. This hotel has got its own carpark which is spacious. Modern and clean hotel. Friendly staff.

Had an overnight stay here with a coach company the rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was of a good standard

Ideal being only 30 minutes to Heathrow, and can be had at a fraction of the cost to an on airport hotel; especially when booking last minute or during peak times. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Limited on site parking.

I booked beauty treatment and spa access via Groupon. Went for my treatment today, facial and head massage was good, but not mini manicure. Used steam & sauna rooms, not impressed! Too small compared to other Hilton hotels I used before. Would not recommend for the poor facilities - No towels were provided, no hair conditioner or shampoo in the changing rooms.
Would recommend for the facials and head massage though. Four stars for the message, but One for the rest.

Our stay there was very comfortable and enjoyable. Customer service was spot on and attentive, making it the best we've received during a stay in a hotel.
