The hotel is located a 10-15 min walk away from Oxford Street, which is convenient.
The hotel is big, having three wings, we stayed in the Central Wing.
The hotel outside and the lobby looks really nice and has a modern vibe.
Firstly, we checked in to a smoking room on the 23rd floor, since I am a casual smoker, but the entire floor was smelling awfully bad. The room was even worse, it had a terrible stench, as soon as we got in there, we went down to the reception and asked to be moved to a non-smoking room.
The next room was on the 10th floor. Thankfully, it didn t smell bad and it was freshly cleaned. The room looked like it was a nursing home, outdated, old furniture and old appliances. The fridge probably has been there since the 80s.
It didn t matter that much though, but when you visit a Hilton you expect everything to be up to date and spot on.
The Sky bar or whatever the name on the 23rd floor, reminded me of a strip club, minus the dancers. You get a nice view though.
The staff is polite and helpful, but none was speaking English properly; I was having a hard time understand what they were saying.
I will stay again but they need to update or maybe upgrade the rooms.

The hotel location is great ... When I made my Check in process it was very good and fast and the staff are very helpful.
The toilet is having some issues example the hand washing sink cover is operated manually that means if the sink is full you have to insert your hand throw the Water(sh...) to open it with your own hands or close it. It's not faulty but it operate that way ... I know what you would say .... , my last comment when I went to the reception to extend my staying for one more day the reception staff told me to do the extend on line better for him and for me wow.., but when I checked his tag name he is trainee... It's not his fault at all actually it's the hotel management part... because they shouldn't leave that trainee all alone.

This hotel is very mean to the residents who live opposite it. Despite begging reception staff to switch off their music (playing 24/7 OUTSIDE hotel via speakers) several times, they continue to ignore .

Good hotel overall however the car park entrance is slightly dull and needs to be brightened up. The view from my room was fantastic and everything was clean and where it should be. The thing that disappointed me was the tv channels available as many were not working and the clarity was terrible. 7/10

Some rooms are top notch, others real but mediocre, not worth the Hilton name. The staff at the counter is very friendly, but on the other hand there is the staff of the restaurant who just walk on in front of you and are not trained to have an almost full house breakfast.

Not impressed, we thought we would be staying at a luxury hotel, half-dark rooms, really bad beds a broken fridge without a mini bar and not even a toaster. In addition, they locked 30 pounds per room and night on one's unpaid expenses account !!!

Very poor experience in comparison to other Hilton Hotels. Considering its located in central London and the extortionate price, one would expect better room standards. Priority members were given priority check in over standard guests even though they both had separate lanes/queues. I had to wait for all the priority members to be checked in before my turn which was disappointing. I was given a complimentary room upgrade for the inconvenience on the 21st floor. Took my luggage with me only to find a very old outdated room which stunk of damp. Came back down with all the luggage once again, room got changed complimentary to Queen Deluxe. The room was bog standard, nothing unique for the price you pay and this is meant to be there bestest room. The shower plug did not drain water, the tv had standard channels, no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything! Hilton Edgware Rd defo not worth a stay in the future!! Very disappointed

The room was very dated with ripped wall paper and old damaged furniture. Also, I know it was -1 in London but the room was super cold with no extra blankets and the heating was a joke. Not sure it made any difference. I don't recommend as there are much better hotels in this price range.

Very nice executive room (545). Clean and in good order. Slightly dated bathroom and climate control. No mould or discoloured silicone anywhere. Minor limescale on shower temperature control. Exterior windows didn't seal properly so let in the outside noise. Executive lounge had a good selection of food and drink. Lovely service from front desk and lounge team. Lounge furnishings slightly dated. Leisure centre is good - gym, swimming pool, steam room, sauna.

Nickel and dime you for everything... I'm a big fan of the Hilton hotels that I've stayed at in the U.S, and hints the reason why I decided to stay at another one during my 3 week stay in London. Unfortunately, I found out very quickly that this hotel's main objective is make money off you every way they can. For non-gold members, here are some of the prices you can expect to pay:

WiFi - daily charge of ~$23 or you can purchase a 5 day plan for ~$95
English Breakfast - No free continental breakfast here, but instead they offer an English breakfast for ~$29 a meal. Needless to say, I left many mornings hungry as I didn't feel like pay the high charge.
Bag storage - Most hotels that I've stayed at will hold your bags for a few days if you decide to venture off to a surrounding country for no additional charge. Here they charge ~$6 per bag a day.
Local calls - Don't think about dialing a local number and assume it's free of charge. This hotel charges for all calls outside the hotel.

The hotel is located on the Islamic side of town and services a large number of international visitors who may think these charges are normal for a Hilton, but luckily I have had different experiences with this chain. To end on a positive note, the hotel is located in an accessible side of London with several taxis circling by and the underground train station in walking distance.

Not my favourite Hilton in London but well located. However, staff are ignorant and unresponsive and can't understand the simple etiquette of who has been waiting for service. So, unless you are the kind of bullish overbearing type who is prepared to push yourself to the front of the queue.. do not come here.. err.. and i am a Diamond Hilton member , so what chance does the average consumer have ? Don't bother

Large hotel featuring useful 5 persons family rooms. Underground parking albeit a bit tight. Hit and miss with the staff. Our room was cleared of our belongings and the sofa bed was put away whilst we were out for dinner. Was offered a vegan breakfast, which was served with bacon.

Well outside and lobbies are renovated nicely. I was assigned the "executive suite" to share with my friend...twin beds, older sheets looked like we got the old run down Hotel 8 room. However the concierge department was fantastic and their breakfast buffet was totally abundant with anything anyone from any country could want to eat and didn't know they wanted but are it because it all looked delicious! The location....well the underground was steps away, but it had nothing "iconic" within walking distance. Oh by the way, bring wash cloths! Most hotels don't provide "face towels"!

The Hilton is very close to the subway. The room is very spacious (have 2 queen size beds) and is well maintained. 2 leg plug socket for charging once available, most Germans are pleased. It was very clean and the friendliness and helpfulness are very impressive. Lounge very relaxed and wifi also available. TV even has a German broadcaster (ARD). Restaurant was very good, also the morning breakfast was great. I'll definitely be back! 5 Stars.

If you are from this category, you know that you are in the old part of the hotel and lower than the rest of the customers. If the barrier of the most luxurious rooms is due to the old rooms because the hotel is only renovated some rooms for Arabs and Muslims

Ask yourself one question: Do you want to be respected in the hotel? If the answer is yes, then do NOT stay in this hotel. In Hilton, they do not care about customer service at all. Let me name a few out of many, many examples:

I asked them politely for storing a few pieces of baggage: I miscounted the number, my bad. But one of their lovely staff challenged me by saying You said there were 4, now that there are six. So what is wrong with you?' In a very very unfriendly, hostile manner.

Their breakfast queue is ridiculously long. Then you can enjoy your breakfast with rude staff literally crashing dishes and cups and take away your forks and knifes so that you can leave earlier and make room for them.

We booked a quadruple room and we found that there are only two sets of everything. We asked the staff and they start blaming each other. The room keeping staff said they were not informed and the check in staff said it was the room keeping staff fault. I simply do not want to hear any of this and I only want to have enough towels to dry myself.

They simply do not care about guests because they are in London. There is a great demand. But if you want to get more respect, you can book backpacker hostel or anything other than Hilton.

Just a short walk from Oxford Street, but for the more lazy the tube station it just across the road. A hotel which has clearly been built is stages, which doesn't really effect you unless like ourselves were looking to use the swimming pool and had to cross from one tower in the building to another. The rooms are lovely and well maintained and has everything you would expect in a modern day hotel. I can't comment on the food because we never ate here. I was lucky enough to book this as part of a deal, I wouldn't have liked to have paid the full price.

The hotel and the service is top class but only one I booked two nights breakfast included but when I arrived they said if I want the breakfast I need to pay extra witches not right I wish I could get some refund for not giving us breakfast otherwise the hotel and the view was beautiful 20th floor oh god I saw all London thank you hilton

I almost left this page without leaving an opinion, shame on me, when I realized this hotel claims to have 4 stars. Beware. Apart from the location and the lobby, everything else reminded me of my dorm room 15 years ago.
