Comfortable, yet the rooms lack update. Despite that, I have enjoyed the hotel, including executive lounge. The staff was helpful, the location pretty good. There is a Starbucks within the hotel as well as lots of areas to hang out or work.

Clean big room, with A/C, fridge, flat screen TV, bathroom with bathtub, large desk, water boiler with coffee and tea. Quiet and comfortable. Large breakfast buffet with wide range of foods. (British, Scandinavian, Halal, vegetarian). Staff is helpful and professional. Several dining places in this large hotel.

I was hoping for a lot more from the Hilton Metropol. Actually more appearance than existence. The only thing that's good is the location. If you flush the toilet, you think a ship with a ship's siren would rush past. The carpet is stained. Too bad.

Overpriced, especially for the location. They claim that I am in a west wing room ! This is a total Motel 6 type of room: completely

In addition, you can wait 2 years for food at the restaurant here. For what you re paying here, you can do better, closer to the attractions ! Trust me, don t stay here! Should ve stayed at the Marriott, you should too!

Hands down the worst place I have ever stayed. Totally outdated. Smelt of smoke, broken air con, dusty dirty bathroom. While we were having breakfast some one had their handbag stolen. Just can't believe Hilton put their name to this place.

Alas this place has seen better days. Rooms in the tower are mediocre, maid service forgets things like towels or taking away used dishes, management ineffective. Room service undercooked fish and chips. Don't stay here unless you have no better option.

The hotel is very big, so it took us a long time to get a good choice. We had a great choice for breakfast, once for dinner we had paid for and the pasta was great. The room price included a swimming pool and a sauna which was very pleasant. Very nice perosnal at the reception and throughout the hotel.

Shame on Hilton. If you can't staff properly and treat ALL guests equally, sell the property to someone else that actually can hire and train staff. This hotel is severely understaffed and CLEARLY caters to a specific ethnic group, if you are not of that background you will be treated as not important. Avoid this hotel, so many many other choices.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Stayed there in September 2018 for one week during an event. Service is terrible. Rooms are old and dirty and small. When we were there the rooms were also cold. Some of our guests changed rooms even two times because of being cold and not being able to adjust temperatures in the rooms, presence of a lot of dust or because the rooms were very dirty. Very expensive hotel and terrible service.

Pros:

Pros:
- Rooms are nice, modern and of a good size
- Good location for access across the centre of London
- Various different bars / restaurants inside the hotel

Cons:
- Staff seem less friendly / welcoming in comparison to other hotels (even as a diamond member)
- Facilities such as the gym and executive lounge are far too small for a hotel of this size
- Hotel is always very busy, which is rubbish when checking in, getting breakfast, etc.

The lobby/main floor are well renovated and it looks good and clean and modern. Breakfast had many options, and a large seating area, so we really liked that.
However, the rooms were very cramped and the furniture in the rooms and hallways looked tired and old. Definitely need renovations. I'm not sure what they could do about the rooms sizes, but if didn't work for us because we had some luggage with us, and we could barely walk around in the room.

Super small rooms. Feel a bit claustrophobic. Definitely a slap in the face for being a hilton. I guess downsizing really is the thing around here. It is dirty and thriving to be cleaner. The floor was stained, the drains in both sink and tub would flood. I am one of the lucky ones who fell for the pictures and now I am a victim of staying here for my last night in London. I didn't even realize how bad this hotel was until I checked into the room and then read the reviews after. Americans use yelp and british people use travelvisor. Room 1303 isn t the business. If you get that room - you re better off sleeping in the lobby - looks cozier there

Will come back to this place due to the great location - short walk to Paddington station and edgware road tube stop. Rooms a bit tired, thin walls, and windows don't open - could do with a fan in the bathroom to reduce stuffiness and dampness.

I have stayed at the hotel for nine nights. It is a great location at Edgware Road. The superior rooms area is fairly good. On the other side, the housekeeping is not so good and barely touching on the surface when cleaning. The breakfast restaurant is small, crowded with many people and the food frying sticks on the clothes as if the person was cocking himself! The reception staff and Guest Service provided different conflicting messages when I requested late check out of my room indicating non professional behavior.

Amazing Hotel, Brilliant service and could not complain for the price I booked. Upgraded room and late checkout provided free. The hotel staff are very pleasant and customer focused ensuring you have a good stay. The hotel has signs on to wear a facemask inside the hotel with sanitiser stations located in the lobby opposite the Whiskey Lounge.

Transport links are very close and you are on the foot of Edgeware road. Local pharmacy and shops at walking distance along with restaurants, hair salons, beauticians all located along the road.

There is ease of access for anybody that is disabled, a great hotel for couples, groups, and families.

Will surely book again. Highly recommended

Maid knocked on my door with he privacy placed on the handle, not once, but multiple times with her card. I got up to check what was going on in just my underwear and she opened the door. All she had to say was sorry. So why would she check the room if the privacy placard was hung on the door? Called front desk and they pretty much said, oops, sorry.

The room is too small, the bed at the end of the long corridor is only enough to sideways, can not push the luggage straight into the bed after the space is open, to push the bed to go first. There are two Su heads on the countertop. It is impossible to use the table lamp, the fork electric appliance and the water raft at the same time. If you have a Su head system, you will get it when you have it.

First off, the hotel is old. We were supposedly in the executive (east) wing, but it felt nothing like it. Amenities are old, outdated, not even the TV works. The pool is tiny and the executive lounge is average at best. The rooms are clean and that's all there is to them. Whenever I took a shower, water would leak all over the floor. Also, there is only a fixed shower head. I mean, how hard is it to put a hose and have a handheld one? The mirror also fogs up unlike more modern Hilton hotels. These might be minor details to some, they usually are to me, and perhaps I wouldn't be pointing them out had the hotel not billed me full price for room service when I was entitled and promised 50% off. I called reception before ordering and they confirmed the discount was being applied. Spoke to the manager who did nothing, only blamed us for not reading the welcome letter. As if tourists are interested in paperwork when on vacation...I will not be going to another Hilton anywhere in the world thanks to their lack of customer service.

Family rooms are old. Bed makes loud noise when you move. Bathroom walls have holes and stains. Pipes make loud noice when turned on. Internet is horendous!! No tv channels except news.... Not worth the money at all.

Convenient location but very crowded. There are 2 wings and getting to the swimming pool from one wing to the other is far and you have to walk through the hotel s lobby which feels like a public mall because of the crowded, not that it has shops. I like the location but will avoid staying there as the check in and out takes a very long time and the breakfast queue during peak hours is a long line. The lifts are slow and packed too. Just too crowded.

Stayed here for three days due to conference. This hotel is very dated, rooms are ok in size, bed was worthless. Breakfast desolate (I also don't like full-english breakfast, I must say). Bathroom hopelessly outdated. The only thing that was up to date were the prices (GBP 223 / night). Service at the reception also not to write home about. The next time we go somewhere else, which I recommend to anyone considering this hotel.
