Afternoon tea for a birthday party. Sandwiches were meagre and poor quality. Scones were nice as were the cakes. We had to brew the tea ourselves and selection was poor and not enough equipment was given.

My mother was staying in the hotel I was staying at an AirBnB nearby. Went to one of the hotels resturant for some amazing food, and managed to use her shower before leaving for my own room which was nice.

I have now been to this hotel three times for weddings or conference, but have never actually slept there. The staff are all extremely helpful, so its a pleasant place to work or attend a conference in. It has many different areas in, spread over the East and West Wing, 10 floors high with three basement floors too. Unfortunately there is neither a phone signal , nor does the hotel's wifi reach down to the Palace Suite in the 3rd floor down basement where I was recently videoing and photographing an Arabic-Asian wedding reception, so communication is impossible by mobile phones until you reach the minus 1 floor at least. It has a large capacity though, so can recommend it for events and weddings. xx REEL Life Photos

This place is a dump. Very outdated rooms. Plumbing doesn't work right. Cold showers and sink water. Service is good from staff. But, my God this place needs a refurb. It's like stepping into 1970 with the bathroom fixtures and the decor overall. The lobby seems much more modern though. I'm Hilton Gold status, and this was the least satisfying Hilton I've stayed at.

This time it was a bad experience, no body answer the phone, refrigerate was not working, when call the house keeping they said because the hotel is under renovation. It was a let down. We had booked it for 5 nights but we left in 2 days.

We took a trip to London in early December with some family that was visiting from the states. We had booked a room big enough for all of us to stay in with a crib and figured we would have an excellent time for Hilton never lets us down. That held true with check in and the staff until we got into the room. The hotel common areas were what you expect inside of a Hilton. The room however was dated and not cleaned to the bar in which Hilton sets for themselves. However the requested crib was in the room upon arrival. During our stay we ordered room service once and it was good. We used the mini bar one night and were charged appropriately. We had used the phone to call a local number once. When we went to check out that is when the hotel really lost all my respect. As the charges were being read to me the phone charge was mentioned. I verfied it was the one call we made and asked why we were being charged for a local call. The guest services agent told me there was a sheet by the phone that said it cost. I explained there was no sheet or I obviously would not have used the phone. I assumed being a local call it would not have a charge to it. She said no the sheet was there and pretty much to just pay te charge and deal with it. She was quite rude to me for simply asking a question in regards to charges I did not feel were right. I said fine paid and left. When I returned home I wrote Hilton corporate to inform them of this issue. I received an email saying they had notified the hotels managment and I should be hearing something from them. Well 2 months have passed and nothing. To me it proves that the hotel is being run in the same fashion the agents treat the guest. Completely shocked and in disbeleif that this hotel can hold the Hilton name.

This is a convenient location if your are flying in/out from London Heathrow airport. There is plenty of parking on site and the hotel has been fitted out very well. The bar/reception area is a great place to meet with guests or visitors and the service was good too.

Clean room, but late check-in. Update: After staying at the hotel a bit longer, I am updating my review. To sum up our experience in one word, "Meh". It wasn't a bad stay, but it wasn't great either. One the one hand, breakfast was pretty good. On the other hand, the cleaning staff removed unused hygiene items from our room (items we brought with us). The breakfast was good enough but our room faced a police station (lots of sirens). The location is good, and the wifi not bad either, but the pool is small and there was a strong smell of mildew in the locker room (plus, no hot tub). Nothing makes me say, "Don't stay here" but at the same time, I'm not excited about it. Would I stay again? Sure, but maybe not at the same price.

Very bad place

Very bad place
All what you get is barely a smile at the front desk
Other than that it is a shame to put Hilton brand on this building.
I spent 8 nights with the worth ever housekeeping
I am planning to launch a hashtag # Hiltonstinks. I will tell everyday a story of shame on the hashtag. I have so far 123 ugly experience in 8 nights. I intentionally didn't complaint.
Let's meet there and get our money paid lost from their income

Love this hotel for it's executive lounge run by Shadi Attala. I hope the new hotel manager doesn't change the lounge too much as a Hotel this size can easily become impersonal. it is like three hotels in one. So know where your room booking is. East Wing, Tower, or West wing as they each have their own lifts and very different rooms. West wing rooms are usually bigger. East wing is nearest the gym and exec lounge. Tower rooms refurb has really improved the tower rooms.

Extremely poor customer service. We had previously had a really bad stay at the Metropol and so I called the hotel to let know we were giving it another shot as our event was a 30 second walk from the hotel. From our last stay we were heavily compensated for the appalling room and service.
When we arrived I checked in and a women called Fatima was whispering and looking at us, she came across and asked if we had stayed here before? I explained we had and what awful service it was. The only reason we returned was because of the wedding we were attending. She gave me her card and said everything would be fine.
We got to the room and artificially everything looked ok. Until we went for a shower, the shower leaked everywhere as the drain was not draining water. It was all over the bathroom floor. I called down to report this, and thought it was a joke. We went out for the pre-wedding party. We returned and found the towels we laid down to have been kicked to the side and huge black shoe marks on the floor.
I called again in the morning to report this. The women on the phone said it was fixed and insinuated I was making it up. She asked if we could stay in till 5 o clock to wait for a room to be free. We had a wedding to go to and I explained that was not feasible. But they could move our things when we were out. They did not want to do this so we assumed we were staying in the room.
The next morning we went for a shower and again the shower was not draining. It was so bad I did not shower as the whole bathroom floor was flooding. My partner and I couldn t even brush our teeth that s how wet it was. The water started seeping out into the bedroom behind the shower. I was not impressed at all.
We went down to check out and I showed the member of staff the photos and he said we were told the shower was broken and we should not use it. This was a lie as we had never been told that. He shrugged his shoulder and didn t know what to say. I asked to speak to Fatima and waited 45 minutes to speak to her. She never showed up. We brushed our teeth in the toilets in reception.
I called the hotel the next day and spoke to the rudest women alive. Anita slammed the phone down on me and spoke to me like I was a piece of dirt. Still not heard from Fatima who said she would treat us like VIP s. Laughable.

Location was good, breakfast was not bad but repetitive. Hotel coffee was bad, heating in the room didn't work, tv reception was bad, water bottles need to be ask from the reception daily manually, hotel rooms looks kind of broken door on certain parts like the bathroom.

A standard hotel in London with a central location. Satisfies the basics but not much more.

A special mention to Sam in security who went out of his way to help me get my jacket back that I left in the bar the previous night. He was extremely helpful and dealt with me in a courteous and professional manner.

the hotel is in a great location with restaurants and pubs around convenience, plus the area is well equipped with bus and subway stops .The rooms are clean and rearranged every day, the lifts are not enough and you spend too much time until it arrives a free and often the people are massed to you beyond the maddening wait. Unfortunately, despite the hotel for families children have little or nothing to do as there is not even a small area organized for them yet space there ne.Va well pay 45 pounds to be able to keep the room until late for individuals, families who have a flight in the evening but found it a joke for them to decide who to or not to use this service and believe me has nothing to do the availability of the rooms, in my case of free rooms they had and also many for these reasons my personal evaluation is of three and a half

Love this place. Such a beautiful Hotel! We stayed here for a company trip/Fashion Tour and this was the perfect spot. The location was perfect! Because the metro was just minutes away this knocked down our travel expenses a lot. Love that there were shops and restaurants near as well. I believe our most favorite part of staying here was the great service we received from every individual, AND especially the perfect Breakfast! It definitely made everyone look forward to waking up the next day (haha). We met Tariq at breakfast and he was just absolutely kind. He literally gave us a first class experience as we stayed there for 5 days. Awesome place, awesome staff, and AWESOME BREAKFAST! We will definitely stay here again when we return.

Terrible hotel, run down and in desperate need for an upgrade and should not have the Hilton badge associated to it. Not only is the quality of the room one star at best, the staff was incredibly rude when I asked them to confirm that they gave me the correct room. I definitely do not recommend staying here.

Price for quality

Price for quality
Best price compared to other hotels
I heard that the eastern wing was old
And the newer West
The tower in the middle is the one where I lived
Where a Pakistani employee named Mohammed in the concierge is excellent and help you in the suggestions
Breakfast is very good
Crowded place
I think the hotel has more than a thousand apartments!
Its location is absolutely excellent
I would recommend the place quite especially to my long-standing biggs
