Great location across the street from John Wayne International airport .

It s a hotel close to the airport. Has a great outdoor/pool area.

A corporate training day... Everything was clean and well taken care of, the hotel catered the food and drinks.

The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked like it should, most don't get cold enough. The bathroom didn't have ventilation. The parking was extremely expensive at $24.00 per night....

Pool area is beautiful. Rooms clean and roomy.. no 5th star because parking is a separate cost and too expensive

Older hotel, shows at times.. cannot beat the convenience to John Wayne airport

I was here for professional event so was mostly in one area of the hotel. The hotel was clean and staff was helpful.

Good:
Nicely redone facility and very friendly/helpful staff.
Room was nicely sized and comfortable.
Good location for the area - close to many things.
Needs improvement:
The housekeeping staff needs better products for cleaning the shower floors.
The sausage pizza had kielbasa sausage on it (which makes it a hotdog pizza, really)
The internet is quite cumbersome to access and is barely functional.

Service was amazing. Newly remodeled pool foyer area.

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and clean. The hotel all around in class and well set up. It is very clean and close to the airport. I walked from the airport here, and it wasn't difficult in the least. I have not had any problems here.

Front desk young man was not willing to help with directions. He seriously told me to figure it out on the internet. He has no business working at that hotel.

I was looking for a more reasonably priced parking option than the airport lots. Shuttle service every half hour to the airport and return the same. Located across the street from the airport but with heavy traffic, I wouldn't recommend crossing on foot.

Just parked my car here while flying out of OC airport

The digital key needs some work. Trouble with the gates and it takes a while to connect to the room door.

I was there as part of a Mock Trial so was only in the Crystal Ballroom and outside on the patio by the pool. Hotel self parking was a nightmare, and ridiculously expensive FYI, but the hotel itself was nice. Really nice looking pool and it was empty all day.

The service was very good
I ordered the Chicken Ceasar Salad and it was very filling. I also ordered the French Toast with eggs and bacon, Amazing!!!

Old. Needs updating. Smells like cigarettes for some reason.

Wonderful in every way possible except breakfast is over priced and disgusting

So disappointed with this Hilton! There were no clean blankets when we checked in, no shower curtain, outlets in the room did not work, parking was horrible, and the there were no decent amenities. I've seen discount hotels with better services.

Poor service; dirty and small rooms; low quality for a Hilton brand. As a diamond member of Hilton for many years for sure this is one of the worst hilton hotels I have stayed in for years.

Hotel is really nice, rooms were clean, and the bar was great BUT $35/day to park is definitely not cheap. The pool area is super nice as well. You will have to pay for breakfast, which is unfortunate. Looks like they have balconies from the outside but they re fake! There are sliding doors but they only open 4 . Over all a pretty place but definitely not cheap.

The staff is stellar!!! They made us feel welcome and special. Thanks Ashley for going all out to make sure we are comfortable. I felt like she was my personal concierge and when i had a barrage of questions, she happily answered them without irritation. I'm all about customer service as that is my job also and game recognizes game, this location has it down pat. We opted for valet which o suggest. It's not that much more than self park and they take care of you well there too. Bell hop Jesus was super nice. I will come back again. Would give a 5 but we booked this hotel for the hot tub and it was a disappointment. The Williams'

$5 for water $32 for parking. Everything else was like every others 3 star hotel.

Extremely convenient to John Wayne Airport. Great place to stay.

I could not tell the difference between sleeping at the Hilton or sleeping at a budge hotel. The room has AC, a TV, a desk. Got charged for a week's worth of self parking when I only parked one day. It was a nuisance getting everything cleared up. Slow complementary wifi in the room, if you want to upgrade it will cost you!
There is no mini fridge, every night I had to get ice to chill drinks. I get a lot of spam as a result of enrolling in the Hilton Honors program. I wish there were more accommodations for the price of the room (~$170/night).
I stayed a week and only got free coffee and two free water bottles. Yes, only two water bottles for the whole week, and they were a thank you for enrolling in Hilton Honors. Additional water will cost you!

Everyone working at the Hilton are very helpful . From the bell captain to the front desk.

I would rate higher but items I was looking for like a mini fridge were not in the room.

If you have any allergies or sensitive skin, be sure to request hypoallergenic everything otherwise you will have issues with the towels and sheets. It took a day or two for the scents to dissipate and reactions to subside and if we had the option we would have changed hotels right away due to this issue.

On checkout, they double charged my card and were not readily available to resolve this. I had to go through my reservation site to get on top of this issue.

I will recommend against this hotel going forward and probably refuse to stay at Hilton's given the mix-up.

Have stayed in about 6 different Hiltons in the past month and this one was pretty poor in comparison to the other places.
The bad:
- water pressure is terrible in the shower
- stayed on the 9th floor, every night there was some kind of noise that would start up, seemed to be coming from outside (not aircraft noise)
- neighbours were clearly smoking weed, hallways stunk
- the area is bland and really boring

The good:
- service people very friendly

Hilton seem to have their priorities wrong - the lobby looks like it's had some work done, but I can't get a decent shower?

Clean and comfortable. Staff was efficient and helpful. The drag on this place is the parking. $30 a night. Also, getting anywhere from here during rush hour is a painful experience. This place isn't worth the total price in money or time. Find a less expensive place.

Great hotel. Very nice with clean rooms. Staff was very accommodating. Hotel was in a good location with a fast airport shuttle. Lots of little restaurants around the area.

The ballroom where the event was held was very nice.

Rooms and facility is nice. Parking is terrible. We can't have our local friends visit us here without them paying $20+ for parking. That is bad for them and they/we won't be recommending this place to others.

We are members of Hilton Honors and have stayed at numerous Hilton's across the US. With all of the hotels considered, my wife and I have never run into problems at this caliber with any Hilton. The reason for the rating is the staff. I hold customer service to the utmost importance when it comes to the hotel industry. Majority of the staff failed to listen to the issues we were having and made assumptions as to why were are even talking to them. We found out through other customers that it was due to the fact that we were not "business class." Nothing was resolved other than getting a headache and souring the end of our trip.

I plan to call corporate and let them know the specifics of our issues with this particular Hilton.

Nice hotel very clean, super comfortable beds and best pillows. Friendly staff.

I have stayed at this hotel for approximately 20 years. I have seen many changes which I must say are not for the best. In part they have gone from an honors lounge to no honors benefits. I am a Hilton Honors Lifetime Diamond member. This hotel has eliminated Diamond benefits - their idea of breakfast is a stale pastry with coffee and juice or an additional charge of $5 to upgrade to an edible breakfast. There are better options within the Hilton family of hotels in this area!

No pets. Very clean. Beautiful pool. Hot jacuzzi. Comfy beds. Nice patio area with warming fires beautiful ambiance in the evening. Centrally located in corp.area of Irvine directly across street from airport. Free shuttle service too. With awesome driver !!!!!

Lousy customer service, parking is a ripoff. I attended an event at the hotel. they have extremely overpriced parking and do not allow you to leave without charging you each time you leave additional parking fees. Nobody at the hotel will take responsibility for the outrageous policy they just pass the buck to another department. They even blamed the event itself. Be creative when coming here, multiple parking lots around are less money with better come and go access, even if attending an event At this hotel, you have better parking options. If planning an event keep in mind they have no problem blaming you the event for their terrible policy and they will mistreat your attendees. I plan events and will not hold my events here there are plenty of properties not that far away and with transportation options now days who needs to pay this hotels ridiculous prices and hostage parking policies. Even covered airport parking is less expensive. Worst hotel I been to and I travel weekly.

Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in restaurant was rather tasty.

Nice hotel, great staff, good drinks at the bar. Clean room with a good view.

Nice hotel conveniently located across the street from John Wayne Airport

Very very nice place. Great service from a very friendly staff, great food, great bar. The Room was very clean and comfortable. Actually the entire hotel was impressively clean! Have a double Tito's vodka or 2 at the bar after a long day! That's what I did! Lol! Then when you're hungry you can order food off the menu or for something like $12.00 you can go to the nacho bar and build your own chicken or beef nachos with all the fixings! Pile it on. That's what I did! I took the Nacho's to my room and comfortably enjoyed it while watching TV! Delicious and hit the spot! I topped it off with an ice cream cookie from the small guest store downstairs. Boy was I stuffed and ready for a good night's Zzzzzz with the comfy bed and pillows.. I really enjoyed my stay here and when in the area again, this is my place!

The the rating is low because when I checked in at 3 and there were plates of food in the hallway at three different rooms and when I checked out the next day at a checkout time around 8am
The plates of food were still there
I could even tell you there was grapes on one set of plates
it was totally inappropriate and disgusting that dirty plates still sat in front of the room that I paid for as well as two others in the hall

Worst Hilton ever. I'm a Diamond member and this place was really horrible.

Hotel is a great place to stay and attend a conference. Staff was very responsive and sorted out a check in issue quickly. Room was well appointed and incredibly clean. Hotel restaurant had great food. Overall, a great experience.

Good place for parking if you're flying out of John Wayne airport. Pay online because it's cheaper.

Bed was sooooo comfy! If it wasn't for the thin walls, loud guests at night and noisy kids in the morning it would have been perfs. Front desk was pleasant but seemed stressed didn't tell me where my room was. Room was clean and stay was great for the price .

I had surgery on my foot and stayed at the hotel for a week. They were wonderful. Made it easy to get in and out of the hotel in a wheel chair. Particularly Amanda and the valet service. Awesome!

The hotel exterior could use a little updating, however the interior lobby looks very nice. What people need to realize is that parking for 2 hours is about $18-$22, but if you eat there you'll be validated for 3 hours. Just hurry though if your event lasts 2 hours. Meal service is a little slow so you might not make it.

Great place all around. We eat here at the Aura Bar & Grill before/after going to the airport. Great service & attractive setting. Ask for parking validation if just going to eat.

Typical excellent Hilton staff. Little pricey at the bar. When I asked where to run the morning they had a map of three different routes. That is always impressive and helpful to me.

The grounds were very nice pool area was nice, nice bar if I needed to stay in that particular area I would definitely stay there

There is no difference in rooms, so save your money and book a standard room, executive level offers nothing extra. Rooms look nothing like photos shown when booking.

Worst customer service experience have ever had. I had my laptop stolen from lost and found. The staff and management are uncaring and unwilling to help. I was informed by staff that this happens often. Such a beautiful hotel ruined by staff.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Orange county; very well kept, clean rooms and great service. Hotel is located walking distance from the John Wayne airport.

Nice hotel, but they charge $24 a day for parking, which is completely ridiculous. If I am staying there, how am I supposed to arrive? On foot? Won't stay there again because of this.

Very nice hotel, especially for an airport hotel. Seems recently renovated. The rooms and bathrooms are newer and clean. The lobby, bar and pool area are very nice. Best part is you're close to the airport (across the street), close to local beaches and Disney Land (15 minutes). Great restaurants in the area and plenty of places close by to hike and explore some of the most beautiful parts of California.

Went here for Golden State Fur Con that they hosted in April and the place was really nice. Great atmosphere and decorations. Can't say anything about the rooms or staff as I didn't stay in a room

I only stayed one night due to a flight issue. Quiet, clean rooms, good food that was open late! I would def go again.

Utilized parking secure and easy access from John Wayne.

I will give the hotel 5 stars due to the clean facility and friendly staff. The restaurant/bar was not open regularly due to low occupancy. It was hit and miss. When it was open the restaurant/bar staff was very helpful and friendly. I almost took away a star but its not the hotel's fault that the CA rules are so overwhelming.

Quite a bit of Jet noise from the airport across the street. On my stay there was a very loud party in the area and the management could not do anything about it until 12:30am. Not all rooms have refrigerators so if you want one you have to ask for it. Over priced meals and no continental breakfast. Breakfast buffet is $20 for nothing spectacular. Parking is a joke. $28 to park in what was a normal hotel parking lot converted to pay parking by adding an entrance gate and exit gate. Not covered or out of the elements.

Nice hotel with a lovely ballroom. Will be working as a wedding coordinator.

Great place near by John Wayne Airport, but parking fee is way too expensive. Paid $26 just for less than an hour

Tonight at this hotel had a fire alarm go off on 1st floor. My kids were swimming downstairs and they were not allowed to leave pool area. My complaint is alarm ringing on 1st floor but not on 6th floor where I was working on computer. I had no idea because, there was no alarm my alarm did not ring. So I guess with this theory , I might have had to walk through fire to get out or jump from 6 stories. Per code, a Fire Alarm is not in sections when it affects floors above, so if first floor goes off then the other 5 are suppose to be executed and building evacuated. I talked to Irvine fire department DISPATCH after the fact and they said they do not fix alarm problems or is not their problem. Well my comment was if a fire alarm is inoperable it has to be fixed but, they said to call Monday. After talking to lady manager she said it was false alarm and there was no fire it happens. Well thanks , hopefully when it is not a false alarm I will get notified. So thanks to Hilton Monday, I will contact Cal State Fire Marshall, Irvine Fire Chief, Mayors office, Hotels Insurance company and any other entity until they correct this problem. Also, Hilton corporation and ask how one of their franchises can operate in this manner. If this problem is not corrected and proven to be corrected to proper authorities.

The accommodations were nice, but parking is 18 dollars a day. Breakfast is 22 dollars for the buffet which isn't much more than eggs, potato, bacon, toast, and fruit. The breakfast was on the same quality level as the free breakfast you get at a holiday inn. Wifi is 9 dollars a day, but they did comp that when I reminded them that I was staying under a large corporate account, and rented this room for business purposes.

The location is right next to the airport which is good if your flying in and out of the area but bad because the sliding glass door blocks very little noise from planes leaving every 2 min. The hotel feels older and somewhat run down for a Hilton. The furniture is out of date and very warn. Wifi is weak and the signal comes and goes.

On a good note, the bed was comfortable and there are plenty of outlets and even a USB charging port on the lamp.

Nice rooms. Good food. Pricy drinks but thats norm for the area. Easy location to airport. Friendly staff. Fast check in and out.

I went there for an event. I had no issues with parking. The hotel staff were nice a d the hotel itself is nice. I only issue I had were in the restrooms. In the men's restrooms there is a automatic soap dispenser next the faucet on each sink but it doesn't dispense soap. There is a separate soap dispenser on the left side on the wall. I was not the only guest who was confused on the soap dispenser.

I want to write here that Dena from Hilton hotel is very helpful. She helped me over the phone with bookings and the cancellations, and was very patient with me. She made additional effort to accomodate our needs. I wish all hotel staffs could be as human as her, and not like a scripted machine. I want to give this hotel a five star just because of her. Good work!
