Great place for a family vacation. Two pools, plus hot tubs and kids pool.
The perfect attention and the location of the hotel is exceptional. Everything is close (parks, shops, restaurants, gas stations). The very friendly welcome and the very clean, spacious, comfortable room with details that highlight the excellence of the place. We leave very pleased and eager to return.
Excellent penalty charge of $ 25 taca resort fee ... they should charge you already at the rate ... my website did not mention this rate ...
Been doing it for years with family. It's a nice get away.
Our favorite place to stay during our tournaments at the Orange Count Convention Center. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Staff is great and love the main pool area. Our only request would be that the restaurant stay open a little later. When you have enough tables, stay open. There are a lot of tournament people there and we sometimes dont get back until 9 or 10pm, and havent eaten.
Perfect location to SeaWorld, within walking distance. Suite was very spacious for 4 adults and 2 children. Could have been a little cleaner (crumbs) on sleeper sofa mattress. Housekeeping should have addressed.
Nice resort with condo style accommodations, and great pool/bar/restaurant. Shuttle service to and from Sea World and Aquatica is not the most dependable, and doesn't operate but every few hours, so you may consider other options. Housekeeping didn't come on a daily basis, so be prepared for that. It is in a good location, with a convenience store and a Bonefish grill within easy walking distance.
EXCELLENT customer service...everyone's friendly, and eager to please. Our accommodations were clean, spacious, and relaxing!!! Definitely will recommend.....first on our list when visiting Orlando. Also, location was close to many entertainment venues and restaurants!
nice rooms. Until it filled with smoke and the smoke alarms never went off. A smoldering HVAC fan or motor? We don't know. but we had to move to a different room at 3:00AM - and we could have easily suffocated or worse. No refund for that night or any other part of our stay. Fire department was never called either!
Very clean room. Lots of room for the price. Close to SeaWorld is a plus.
Love it here! Brought my whole family and they loved it too! Nice and clean, prompt service, lovely up to date room. Everything worked perfectly. Hilton has very nice properties
Great rooms, super value with new furniture and super clean
Stayed here during the hurricane, they are extremely accomodating during the whole ordeal and still provide excellent service. The room is great and comfortable, as well as fits my family of 4 very nicely. They are organized and there are plenty of activities provided to pass the time.
This resort is located in Orlando, Florida right near Sea World, and within a few miles of Walt Disney World.
There are ten 6 story buildings, with rooms ranging from two bedroom suites to studio size. They are al newly renovated with beautiful furniture, comfortable beds and kitchens for doing your own cooking.
In the main building there is a restaurant, excercise room, small theatre for watching movies and an activity center.
Outdoors there are two regular swimming pools, one heated and the other not. There is also a small wading pool and two hot tubs. There is also a bar and restaurant and large gas grills for making your own meals.
There is also a nice covered playground, and a game area with many choices. At night they play movies at the poolside, and have other activities throughout the days to keep kids engaged.
There are shuttle services to and from the buildings to the main area, as well as to some of the nearby parks at no extra charge.
If you are looking for a place to stay with large or small groups in Orlando...look no further! This pla e is absolutely fabulous!!
The room is fantastic, the staff has been great, and they have a lot of activities for the whole family! The pools are huge and a lot of fun; especially the waterfalls. They even have a great bar and grill on site and a marketplace that has lots of stuff. I highly recommend this place.
Great place, close to everything. Have no complaints. Although be aware the north most building, which we stayed in, is noisy due to heavy traffic on the main road.
Awesome place. We love it here. No need ti go to the parks. Stay and relax in the pool. Lots of activities to do.
We had a great week at this hotel. Convenient to all the parks and across from Sea World. The hotel offers 3 pools, a convenient market with all the basics including eggs and milk. For those rainy afternoons there is a 50 seat movie theater and several DVD/game rental kiosk. On nice evenings they also show a movie at one of the pools. Nearby parking fills in the afternoon, but much of the parking areas are shaded and nicely landscaped. We stayed in the St. George building where the single elevator can be slow at times.
For the room we had two adjoining rooms, a suite with a full kitchen, soaking tub, and separate bathroom. It also had a balcony with a 4-top round table and extra room to move around. The other room was a typical queen room with a standard bathroom and wet bar with microwave and refrigerator. The balcony was smaller with a 2-top table and a little extra room. A really nice feature is that both balconies are completely screened, so bugs were minimal and you can enjoy the balcony well into the evening with the light on.
As for the staff, we had minimal interaction due to our itinerary, but the check-in was easy, and most staff that we did meet greeted us with a friendly smile and hello.
We would definitely consider coming back to this hotelin the future.
Room are ok some repairs are needed in a few rooms. The pool area is Nice as well as the guest lounge and theatre. Everything else is average.
Our stay here was outstanding. The staff was accommodating, our room was everything. Full kitchen, washer and dryer with laundry soap in the room and the screened in balcony was the best. The view of the hidden pool was beautiful. Thanks to Elton for his hospitality. We will stay again.
Convenient location, clean and spacious rooms, courteous staff.
This is hands down my wife's favorite resort in Orlando!. My daughter is a competition dancer, and we compete a block away at the Renaissance convention hotel every summer. We have stayed here at HGVC at SeaWorld for 5 years, sometimes twice in a year! We love the room layout, the cleanliness, and the conveniences. We also love the tropical theme, and all of the fully grown plants/bushes/tress create ample shade in the hot Florida summer. We cook, and use the in-room washer and dryer, so the condo is so much better than any hotel room. We are DVC owners, and stay at DVC for Disney vacations, and here for everything else! Know that this is a sprawling resort, so it is a walk from the edge rooms to the main pool, but we are usually picked up by a cart. We sometimes walk to the dance convention and SeaWorld. We recommend.
My room was opened when i returned back from a day at a volleyball tournament and the room had been ransacked, Thank Goodness i took my cash and any medicine as that seems to be what was being looked for. I was told no maid service but did receive a make the bed and replenish towels. My check in was not welcoming at check in desk i was misinformed and not directed as well as someone standing behind me to make sure i went to guest services for a welcoming package that was nothing but me walking over to a person on the computer that barely looked up to ask me why i was in Orlando. Security Gate was left open for awhile so there was no need to use my key. Everytime the noisey air kicked on it is introduce with 2 load clicks, and ends with 1 click. needless to say it has been hard to get a good nights sleep. I did APPRECIATE THE Deli Man and Lady they were very nice and polite. Security officer and "MOD" were condensnding and useless. There was 1 of the security officers that was robby(?) was helpful in filing the report. I tried talking to the manager but he was unresponsive. Housekeeping seemed to always have their cart in front of my room when i leave at 6:20 and returned at approx 5pm I have an 18 year old daughter that could not believe my treatment from the security officer, she evan said to me that I needed to clear up the fact that I do not every complain and that our room WAS ransacked. Evan if i did leave the door open WHICH I FOR SURE DID NOT) It does not explain why our shoes were messed up my makeup knocked over my drawer open and messed up and my carry on bag missing $20. And since I'M complaining the bathroom was dirty and my pillows were hard, my dvd player did not work, the whole ticket to get a water is a hassle. I just went through and found this review which seems a lot like mine.
No where can I find on their website that they are actually a Vacation Club not a hotel. My husband checked us in for a four day weekend and was told at check in that due to the length of our stay there would be no housekeeping. When i went in Sunday morning and asked to have housekeeping and fresh towels i was told that they are a Vacation Club not a hotel. You only get housekeeping if you stay 7 days or more. I have never had a Hilton tell me they werent a hotel. They also charged $25 a night resort fee and list phone usage, free long distance, free coffee and bottled water as their resort items. I complained Sunday morning that our phone did not even work. I couldnt call the front desk to ask for the towels we needed since housekeeping didnt come. The phone was never fixed but they sure charged us for it. We will never go back. I booked this through Hilton and fully expected a Hilton hotel but that is NOT what we received.
Not so great with customer service at the resort. Asked for a toothbrush through their cool texting app, three people responded that they would take care of it and they never showed up. Then i ordered food through the coral reef grill and when i went to pick it up 45 min later, they had not even sent the order to the kitchen.
Great customer service and comfortable rooms with lots of amenities available.
As an owner for 20 years standards have dropped. Pressure to attend the sales presentation was the only special attention we received. There are no perks or benefits to owning and you only receive a so called Welcome gift if you attend the sales presentation which lasts for 60/90 minutes and is relentless. Totally unprofessional. Also saw many guests eating and drinking in the pool and totally disregarding any pool rules.
20 years on our home resort is no longer at the standard we purchased.
The room, the amenities, the facilities were all top notch. My only slight issue was the parking. It is outdoors so you are exposed to the elements. Other than that two thumbs up.
Best resort in Orlando. Grate staff and excellent location
Horrible. First, the customer service is a disaster. Im writing this standing in line with only one person working while 6 other associates behind the counter are doing NOTHING. Service is extremely important to me so I will never come back and I strongly recommend you stay away. THESE PEOPLE MADE ME FEEL LIKE A BURDEN TO THEM. Second, rooms are poorly represented in the pictures. They are outdated and smell unpleasent. And the pool closes at 11pm, why when other resorts around keep theirs open 24 hours? Ive never had such a bad experience and as a Hilton Honors member I am disappointed
Very nice hotel, rooms are always clean and refreshing. The rates are usually the best around in most villas.
Perfect location and amazing service. Rooms are large and updated.
Very clean, easy check in. Pool amenities were great, fresh towels daily, bar, life vest for the little kiddos. DVD movies on site
Great Suites, very close to seaworld! Very friendly staff! Free parking to SeaWorld!
It was a very good hotel. The front desk was very kind and willing to help. We arrived very late in the evening and we had a complication with our reservation and they were very helpful and helped us find our room. The room was very clean when we got there. All in all there was a complication but it was a very good place based on location, view, amount of restaurants near by, amount of grocery stores near by, and the rooms were very nice and very clean.
Wasn't what I expected for a Hilton vacation club we had no room service for the three nights we were there had to take out our trash for a VIP membership wasn't treated as such plus had to go for a other 90 minute tour was 2 an a half hour wasted our vacation time. To buy in to this time share told women from the beginning that we. Can't
Nevertheless kept on going on then brought the manager over .
This hotel is horrible. There is absolutely no customer service. The front desk people were rude, the activity center people have no personality and are rude, the management is rude. The rooms are big and that is the best part of the property. The main pool was broken when I went there and managerment did not do anything to accomodate the guests. There are so many hotels in Orlando that you can stay at--don't choose this one!
Nice place for kids and retired people but not what i was looking for. There isn t any support for internet or anyone who may need to do work on their trip. If you have to do any work or log on to a system while here avoid like the plague.
Service is friendly, rooms are super spacious and suites are well equipped with kitchen supplies. Plenty of activities for kids and adults.
Have you ever stayed at Hotel with no clean towels for 2 days? No neither have I until now!
Also no fast passes to Seaworld as promised because their concierge closes at 3 even though check in isnt until 4.
Just visiting my sister and her family for one day. From what I've seen, super nice.
Beautiful laid out grounds, excellent pool with waterfalls to relax and poolside bar!
This is the original Hilton Grand Vacation Club, and I still think it is the best! Multiple pools depending upon whether you like warm water, cool water, or a quiet, out of the way experience. The Coral Reef restaurant is delicious. The small convenience store on site is very friendly. They also recently installed propane outdoor barbecues, which are kept clean and at the ready, in contrast to the old charcoal grills they used to have. The main pool has a waterfall, and the lounge has a piano, comfy couches, a business center, and a small movie theater. Free shuttle to Sea World, across the street. Plenty of parking. If there were any reason for a mild complaint, it would be the mildly aggressive marketing to pressure guests and owners into attending their "owner's update" which is market talk for a sales presentation.
Lovely place , clean , nice people , very beautiful room , clean washer , dryer, dishwasher , iron , blow dryer , puts pans , and even dishes , movie at pool at night with popcorn , and much more feels like home
Our family stayed here for the Thanksgiving week. This place is excellent. Because of our big family we had two suites with adjoining kitchenette. The kids loved the pool area and jacuzzi. The playground was clean. Hand sanitizers were almost everywhere at the resort. And employees were constantly sanitizing.
Service is great, rooms are a little dated. We left donuts on the counter and ants came in within an hour. We had to get the kitchenette treated. Other than that, so far it's going well.
Excellent attention and price! They have free shuttles to Universal
Best experience ever. Service was top notch; & would definitely love to come back.
Like the layout of the rooms Easy to find hotel and near activities.
Neat, awesome room service personnel, very good pool area and a variety of indoor and outdoor games for kids and adults.
THE POOLS ARE WELL LOCATED.
THE AREA IS PRECIOUS, TO LOOK AT THEM
YOU FEEL THE DESIRE TO ENTER
THEY.
Would give it a 5 but I always forget they don t clean the room unless you stay a week.
Great Vacation suites, always great service. Have been 5 separate times now and consistent experience ranks right up there!
Dumpy hotel room. Extremely noisy. Non-existent hot water. Should have just stayed at Disney. Even the low end rooms there are WAY better than this trash heap of a "hotel".
Fantastic suite with a very large tub amd beautiilful shower. Nice living room, kitchen and dining area. Full size fridge and dishwasher. Washer and dryer in room. Convenient elevators and friendly staff. Fitness center and several pools. Tennis courts and a fitness course. Lush grounds and lovely buildings.
Everything you need is here. Good food, entertainment, nice rooms, etc
Love the look and feel of the suite. Great vacation spot.
Always nice rooms. We got a phone call at 8am asking if we wanted to attend a "Welcome Breakfast" timeshare pitch which I didn't appreciate.
The place is great, with all the facilities one might need. Suites are very nice and well equipped. Nice pools, jacuzzi, basketball courts, children clubs and many more. Nice happy hour on the weekend. Also, the food at the main restaurant near the pool was surprisingly good.
Only disappointment was that the room was dirty. First day in, our feet were black. Eventually they did clean it, but I'd expect it to be clean upon check in
We had a great time at Grand Vacations SeaWorld itself. Our daughter loved the pool area and the room was very nice. We stayed for 6 nights in a 2BR suite and had only 1 complaint: I'd be giving 5 stars if they hadn't pushed the Parc Soleil timeshare presentation on us and been very misleading about it in the process. I wouldn't let this change your mind about staying at HGV SeaWorld, but it soured the trip enough for us that I think it's worth mentioning.
We realize it's our own fault for actually agreeing to go to it, but it was the desk staff in the lobby at HGV SeaWorld who misled us about it (i.e. it ran well over the quoted time, the "full breakfast" was just bagels, donuts, and coffee, there were no working gaming consoles for the kids, just a broken TV in a little room). We continue to get marketing calls to this day on my google voice #, and the Parc Soleil sales staff became incredibly rude and unprofessional when they were unable to secure a sale with us.
We really did enjoy our stay at HGV SeaWorld, but the experience with Parc Soleil left such a bitter taste in our mouths that we decided to find other accommodations for 2 subsequent trips to the Orlando area, and will probably continue to do so going forward. As great as this place itself is, there are simply too many other great options in this area to think you can treat your guests like this and have them return.
We had a great time! Room super spacious and very, very clean!! The pool area is great, plus we got free parking for SeaWorld as much as we needed. Parking is normally $25/ day and the resort fee is $25/ day at the Hilton and also includes other extras like 2 coffees (meh) or water bottles. But saving on the parking was great. One thing while we were there, the restaurant was closed. They had a pool bar with some food, but honestly it was pretty awful and very expensive. (Like over $70 for lunch, which was basically cafeteria food). That was super disappointing... but, in the upside we talked with the concierge about places to get food and used 2 of the 3 recommendations which were both amazing. And since we had a 3 bedroom suite, we had plenty of room to enjoy our food at the condo. There was definitely some grumpy guests running around. That was unpleasant. Particularly when your a family of 5 with luggage riding a small elevator and someone wants to squeeze in... and I'm just not feeling it!!! We try to be nice, but some people or couples were really unpleasant about it AND in both cases not wearing masks. That's one thing. Disney, SeaWorld, these places were great with requiring masks, the Hilton... yeah, not so much.
Great resort. Grounds are wonderful, rooms are nice. Staff is top notch. Close to everything you need in Orlando
I really like this hotel. I have stayed in it several times, infra decent, clean room and bathrooms. Full kitchen. The hotel has several pools, including heated. It is next to the sea world, close to a pharmacy and a dennys. We love staying in it. Just compliments!
We had a really good time at the resort. Different pool areas, nice basketball court, fitness studio, apartments with full kitchen, screened balconies and absolutely helpful and friendly staff. Top location for families with kids all ages. We would definitely consider going there again!
The stay has been amazing. First off very comfortable staying area's, spotless, and quiet. The pool and hot tubs are amazing as well as all the friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
Loved the atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff were polite and helpful. I enjoyed the fact that it felt like a home away from home. Great location.
