The good: Very good location, between disney and universal only 10 minutes from both and in front of sea world, 5 minutes from the premium outlets, spacious rooms in two very well equipped rooms, excellent price quality. The bad: rooms with some smell of humidity, the somiers are very worn and you sink to sleep !!, one night they forgot to clean the rooms, the cleaning does not abound in the entire complex.

I love the hotel room that we were in. 2 televisions, a bed room, and a couch bed. I loved the full kitchen that we had. Almost every item in the kitchen was silver. Room was very clean and a good balcony. Service was really awesome. Employees were very polite.
Popular hotel for families visiting the parks. Very close to Seaworld. Nice suites, friendly attentive service. Restaurant, bar, and store on premises. Resort style amenities.
I spent few days with my family at the hotel and it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the pool and play place area. The customer service was good and the rooms are clean.
This resort had a very friendly staff. Two giant pools and outdoor games surround the pool. I had never been to a resort and had a great time. The studios we stayed in had screened balconies which was very nice.
We stayed 4 nights and had an excellent experience. We stayed in building 8, which has a nice quiet pool and hot tub behind it, but it is a bit of a longer walk back to the main building, which has two pools, a few hot tubs, and the restaurant and cafe. The location was convenient and staff were friendly.
Amazing place. Two nice sized pools surrounded by games like pool (billiards) and ping pong. Several gazebo like areas near pool that provide nice shade. Saw some families set up a pack and play in said gazebo. Restaurant, bar, and convenience store located next to pool. There were a lot staff organized games poolside -- which our kids loved.
Stayed in a 3 bedroom room. Had full kitchen and pretty much everything you need (like plates, pots, large salad bowls, etc)
Friendly staff, especially those running games and kid's activities.
Our stay was beyond poor. If I can give a -10 then this hotel gets that award. The rooms are completely outdated. The clock was broken, there was holes in the 1980s cover blanket fir the 1980s pull out couch/bed. The knives they said are cleaned and sanitized were dirty with food left on a few from god knows when. The carpet felt slippery like it hasn t been steamed cleaned in months. My wife and 1 of our kids were sick to their stomach and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in room for 5 people. I waited over 30+ minutes fir a 2nd roll while my 5yr old was on the toilet waiting for it. When you are in the elevator in building 9, the arrow lights are falling off. It s a complete disaster of a hotel. Not sure why it name Hilton GRAND ...it is a beat western at best.. SHAME ON THE HILTON BRAND TO RUIN OUR BOYS BIRTHDAY. never going back. Will stay going back to Disney resorts where we are treated 100% better.
0 Stars (if I could)!!! Booked through my timeshare & Studio was all that was available. At check-in the resort charged me a MANDATORY $196 ($25 p/day + tax) for my 7-day stay (missed the VERY FINE Print on that) - on top of what my timeshare charged at reservation claimed it's for their Daily Resort Charge for: guest internet access; domestic long distance calls; DVD NOW with unlimited movies; 2 regular cups of Starbucks Coffee OR 2 16 oz. bottles of water per day; 1-800/local calls - - I mean isn t internet already provided at ALL hotels anyways & Hilton SeaWorld charges for it? WoW! I don t even use/need these items. I have my cell phone for calls and I brought a whole $4 case of water from Walmart. They give you no choice which is UNFAIR! I should be able to decline. Also, the Studio/space is very, very small, only one bed, and there is an odor in the air... you smell it every time you enter the room. Mostly all the plug outlets are loose & your plug falls out. The bathroom door almost reaches the toilet seat, the kitchen area is practically non-existent. You have to put the coffee maker on the floor to open the microwave and the dish(es)is bigger than the sink when it s time to wash it/them (they don t fit). Don t bother to even complain I did and all they offered was extra pillows, blankets. They don t care and will just add another non-resolution response to this & other reviews (read their other replies for yourself). This is my first/last time booking a Studio and I will NEVER stay here at Hilton SeaWorld again or any Hilton properties.
Beautiful grounds, room. Nice bar and deli. Odd that no restaurant. We booked one night, but it's one of those timeshares, so the try to promote it. Huge pools too...
I liked the service, it has several swimming pools, gym, massages, entertainment in the afternoon, bar, lots of space to enjoy, the staff is very friendly, I had no problem
I had the bright idea of going on a small vacation just my 6 year old and me..lol..but let me tell you this hotel is PERFECT!! Rooms are nice size and clean. Pools are great and they even have a small shaded playground area for the kids. The only thing that I wasn't too fond of is that there is NO lifeguards at all. Kind of scary but as a parent we should be watching our kids at all times. But the extra set of eyes would help. Other then this, trust me this place is perfect
Need to have some one in charge of pools to keep down the running. To have quite time. earlier than 10 pm. Some people like to go to bed early other than that, great place
We were 2t in a small accommodation with living area, dining area, kitchen, bedroom and large bathroom. Very clean and staff very friendly. Sea world in walking distance was more of a disappointment. We were glad to have booked only one day. The hotel is great for self-catering.
Bad New Years vacation experience led me to check out early. Resort is very spread out, Main pool and activity areas were not within walking distance from our room which was very deceiving from the Hilton app description and photos. Rooms are very nice but have a shared door with neighboring rooms, our neighbors were nice enough to wake up at 5am cooking and playing/talking loudly on New Year s Eve, waking everyone up. When requesting a room I picked one with a separate bedroom to isolate us from our children, turned out the bedroom door didn t have a latch to the door (never installed) so it couldn t be shut or locked. When asking employees questions about logistics at our Smith section, the 2 employees I spoke to couldn t speak English. Upon calling the front desk my call went unanswered twice.
New Year s Eve morning at 8am I received a phone call waking everyone up again, I hung up. The phone immediately rang again and it was someone asking how our check-in went, if the room was clean etc which then turned into a question of me coming by to pick up a $100 American Express card. I asked a few clarifying questions to find out it was a time share meeting invite.
Upon calling the hotel to cancel my final night I was transferred to an 800#. The employee with the Hilton 800# said they couldn t cancel the third night and admitted the hotel employee knew this before transferring them. They called the hotel back and got my third night canceled. In checking my email invoice this morning, I was actually billed for a third night when I was actually staying at a different Hilton.
Worst overall Hilton experience ever which is unfortunate because the staff we encountered were very nice and accommodating. I ll be back to Orlando in the second and forth quarters of 2021 but not staying here.
It's like a large apartment complex. It's nice but large so walking and over crowding is common on the bad days. On a nice day the pools and area is nice.
Love it here. Close to SeaWorld. Literally across the street. The suite was clean overall. Love the fact that we had a kitchen and everything. All we needed was food. The staff is amazing. They have gulf carts and will drop you around the hotel
The Pros: -It's a 15 minute walk to the gate at Sea World. -The rooms were nicer than we expected - it really took my wife off-guard. She was expecting a standard hotel room and this was definitely a cut above. -They allowed us a late checkout of 11am. Normal checkout is 10am. The Cons: (a much longer list) -Expect to hear a LOT of sales pitches. I received 2 before we arrived. One was when I called to ask a question about our reservation (to be fair, I was offered free Honors points in return for this one) and I also received a phone call a couple of days prior to our stay under the "premise" of confirming the details of our reservation which then turned into a sales pitch - which was the true reason for the call. We had to listen to another to get parking passes, and another to schedule the shuttle ride (we ended up walking - WAY more convenient). -Check-in took 30 minutes. Meanwhile, my family (wife, 4 year old, and 1 year old) are waiting in the car after driving several hours and my kids are losing their minds screaming and crying because they want to get out. But you can't get kids out of the car after a trip because here, you have to drive to your building (not a bad thing - just a fact) and getting a kid back into a car after a long trip is almost literally impossible. The guy at the check in desk just seemed to be in no hurry whatsoever. Perhaps he's being thorough, you suggest? No. He forgot several important details, like the shuttle schedule, my room number, etc. -This deserves it's own point but it another thing he forgot - the check in guy gave us these lanyards for Sea Word and we asked if they were Quick Queue tickets (which we were supposed to get with our stay). He said they were. They weren't. They were just preferred seating passes for things like shows at Sea World. So, we get to Sea World and we don't have our QQ tix, which was the MAIN reason we picked this hotel to stay at along with proximity to the park. To their credit, they were able to text me a redemption code to pick up the QQ tix but we had to miss a ride, wait about 15 minutes for them to work out things on their end, go to a special desk at Sea World and get pitched AGAIN before we received our tickets. So in all, we wasted about 45 minutes of our 7 hour day at Sea World because of the check in guy - who took about 25 minutes too long to check us in the day before. -We utilized the fold out sofa and the blanket to go on it was so musty that I put it back in the bag. I had them bring another which only emanated about 80% of the must. We let it air out for a few hours which seemed to help. -Our dinner the day we arrive was at the restaurant by the pool and was TERRIBLE. We had 4 adults, a teenager, and 2 kids, and everyone's food was either overcooked, bland, or both. How do 7 meals turn out awful? I can't remember exactly what our bill was because my dad picked up the tab for that - it was around $130 including tip, I think, but our meal the following night was from the VERY nearby BoneFish Grill, didn't cost much more (about $160 and we got things like Chilean Sea Bass and Wild Caught Salmon), and was world's apart in terms of quality and taste. My suggestion, avoid that restaurant for dinner and pick up BoneFish to go. We hung out by the pool on checkout day for a few hours and reluctantly ordered lunch, everyone got burgers and although they weren't cooked right (not a single one - mine for instance was ordered medium and was a pink dot away from being well done), that meal was MUCH better than our dinner 2 days prior. -Electrical outlets in the room were loose and needed to be replaced. Two out of the two we used (both for phone charging), the plug kept falling out of the wall.
I sincerely hope that all of the "Cons" simply melt away in my memory over time and that only the fun memories remain, because we did make quite a few of them. But I doubt it. The relentless sales pitches, lack of attention to detail, and disregard for their guests time WHILE ON VACATION has turned us against this property.
I am a Hilton Honors member, which has been anything but an "honor" lately. I needed to revise an arrival date to 3 days later. Simple right? Wanted to keep the same hotel, same room type, same departure date, everything else the same, but arrive 3 days later for 6 nights vs 9 nights. Booked direct via Hilton website and began contacting several days prior to the final allowable "cancellation" date of the reservation. The website appeared to have initially revised my reservation but it did not and a message popped up to call the Hilton reservation line to confirm. OK. Two phone calls to the Hilton reservation line. The first call, after 40 minutes on hold resulted in saying they could not do it now, so call back later (total 46 minutes wasted). They tried to contact the hotel supposedly while I was on the phone but the front desk was not answering at the time. Five hours later made the second call. Tried the HGV hotel number direct and whomever answered said they needed to transfer me after hearing I needed to change my arrival date. After 21 minutes on hold this time (not at peak hours either - it was 10pm), ended with a Hilton reservation person again. Explained the need to just change the arrival date 3 days later. They eventually told me to call the hotel in the morning as they supposedly did not have access to modify. After trying to explain I just spoke to the hotel desk, the reservation line person responded someone at the hotel who can help will be there in the morning. Sure. Called the hotel desk the next morning, we can't change the arrival date, you need to call the reservation line and I don't know why they'd tell you to call the hotel. Our inventory is full, well I'm arriving three days LATER not three days earlier, I already have the room. Seriously! The guy suggested to book a new room online and then they can cancel the old reservation. Of course I already tried that and the room type is not available for the dates... because I already have it reserved!! How can any hotel, let alone one of the biggest chains in the world, not have the ability to revise a simple arrival date? The past few days was a very unpleasant experience, and I would recommend anyone find a different hotel partner. Don't be fooled by the top of the website that reads "Plans Change. Look for our flexible booking options with free changes and cancellations available at every hotel." Well, my plans changed, and the changes were impossible after 4 different contacts made - more if including the website. I was really trying to keep my stay with Hilton but it became far too inconvenient, too much hassle and hours of lost time.
Spacious room, beautifully decorated. Large kitchen, dining, and living spaces. Large televisions. Huge plush comfortable bed w/ balcony access. Gorgeous bathroom w/ tub, shower, and multiple vanities. Personal laundry in suite. Pools, hot tubs, bars, deli/market on-site. Truly no reason to leave such a paradise.
We traded our Fiesta Americana timeshare for his hotel and was expecting it to be up to the same standards. Arrived to very slow check in people. Then we couldn't find a bell hop to help with our luggage. Studio was VERY small to what we are used to even for 2 adults and a 2 year old. Was shocked to find out we don't get daily maid service only 1 mid week cleaning. Couldn't get a clear explanation as to why they don't do daily maid service. Some people said it was bc we don't pay a resort fee other people told us its bc they are a resort and not a hotel. Lol you'd think it would be the opposite. Disappointed in the only onsite restaurant. Slow service and confused staff. Also took multiple calls to get the front desk to answer the phone when we needed to ask for fresh towels or a cart to the front desk. Expected a much different experience than we got.
Only issues was the check in proces is lengthy and may not be the place you want to stay on business. Looks like a lot of fun. Close to restaurants and you are basically can walk to the park
I don t recommend this property if you don t have kids or if you expect any type of service while on vacation. They lost the surprise gift I had ordered for his bday and the fact that they make you walk all the way to the front to pick up anything and won t let the deliver to your room or bring it to you was extremely off putting. The walls were like paper. You could hear kids screaming all day and night, finally had to ask for another room (felt bad but couldn t sleep). The property could use some upgrades but personally just prefer to have things delivered to the room when ordering while on vacation instead of a mile walk to the front to pick things up. Wasn t a huge fan but I can see how it s nice in a family setting. Decent deal for families - not so much for couples or singles.
Although the hotel is beautiful, with excellent accommodation, full kitchen plus great location, the cleanliness of the apts is almost nil. As the room rate is beeem pulled and still has daily "salgadinha" of resort, they should at least have a supervision of the cleaning staff. But on the day of our check out there was a clerk to ring the bell of our apt beeem early - waking us up !! - to warn us that our stay would end in a few more hours !!!
It was excellent. Receptionists, bellmen, restaurant staff was wonderful. The Studio was spacious, had all amenities that I need. Balcony was a nice additional space to the room. Very clean. Beautiful outdoor setting. I wished I had more time spent outdoor at the water falls, walking around the lake. I was too busy visiting attractions. Next time I will have more days to relax at the hotel, enjoy the beautiful & relaxing environment. Restaurant & Deli Market on site, don t have to go any where if you don t want to.
Great hotel. Right on the Sea World side, with easy access by bus or private car to other Orlando parks. Receptionists and maids very attentive and friendly. The structure of the hotel is very good. It has two large swimming pools, one being more withdrawn for those who like quiet and another very central. The rooms are great. The cost benefit in April 2018 was very good. It was worth having stayed there
We stayed here for part of our vacation at Universal Studios and Disney. We actually flew into Kissimmee airport and was very disappointed to find out that they offer no shuttle service at all. They also do not offer early check in, but do allow you to check your luggage with the Bell services. The check in process was not easy either. We had to wait for sometime and the front desk staff were not the most friendly or helpful. We travel a lot and were very surprised at the service offered here. We had a studio and the room was very clean, nice, and it had a small refrigerator without a freezer section, microwave, and in room safe. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were just small "lumps" and when we asked for better pillows, we just got more "lumps" that barely resemble a pillow. They did supply us with 3 big bath towels though. The bathroom was very small and you had to "dance" with the door to get in to use the restroom, or even move from the shower to the vanity. It made it tough to get ready in the bathroom. We were here three nights and housekeeping NEVER came to our room at all!! The grounds were very nice and well kept. There is a gate and security shack at the entrance so you feel secure on the property. The pool area was very nice and they have a couple of options for hot tubs. They do have laundry rooms but they are not in every building and the one we used had only one washer and one dryer, but they were free to use. We had to go to a couple of buildings to find one that was not already in use. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and the food was okay, but the service was awful! Our waitress was very slow and hard to find and there was only one other table occupied other than ours. The concierge desk was not very helpful in getting tickets for last minute trips that we wanted to take at local attractions. We were very disappointed with the stay here and while we LOVE Hilton Hotels, we are not impressed at all with their resorts and would recommend staying somewhere else. The service that you get at the Hilton Hotels is MUCH BETTER in all areas than what we received here. They just don't seem to be very accommodating for flying travelers. The hotels offer shuttle service and I find it hard to believe that when they charge more here, and offer nothing, especially in a highly traveled area with lots of amusement parks in the area. We will not be going back anytime soon. We would rather spend the money at Disney or Universal resorts for much better service.
This hotel is awesome. It's actually a huge resort with a dozen or more buildings. We had a 3 bedroom suite for our family of 10. It was perfect. There are 3 pools, lots of hot tubs, more activities and games than you can shake a stick at, and even its own movie rental kiosks. They will try to sign you up for the shpeel about timeshares...I just said no. Great location too...central to everything.
I originally chose this place as it had very high ratings and a reasonable price compared to some of the other hotels/resorts in the area. That was a mistake... > So first off, before even going in to the hotel I was asked about a time share when booking. I politely declined as I wasn't interested. They said they won't ask again, and I thought that would be the end of it... (PS: They don't mention it's a time share, they will just say come for an hour presentation and you get some reward (Free vacation or free Disney tickets, or giftcard, etc)) > First day there, we get our room key and they mention to get our parking pass we need to talk to concierge.... who they proceeds to try and sell me on a time share again, and is very pushy. "But I bet your wife would be interested" "But it's just a short presentation then you get this giftcard" "What if I also gave you this or that" "Are you really sure, it's just a small presentation!"... - Eventually I get my parking ticket and my wife responds with "Why were you in there so long, it's been like 30 minutes" >We get to the room, and within an hour someone just opens the door and walks in without knocking or anything. As soon as she noticed we were there she ran out without saying anything. I can only assume housekeeping? >Second day, same thing happens again, a different woman again just comes in without knocking and then says sorry then leaves.... I went outside the room and she was standing outside the room and said that this room was marked for cleaning, and that we were supposed to check out that day? We were supposed to be staying a week, not a day. At this point I was a little agitated but figured it couldn't get worse... >Well a few days later, they decide to call me bright and early in the morning on my vacation to ask if I wanted to attend one of their presentations again.... (Remember, I paid for this completely myself, there was no promotion and I was not here on their free vacation package or anything) >At this point I went ahead and booked the rest of the vacation at another hotel and decided we were no longer staying at this location. I told the front desk at check out and she mentioned they would be sending a survey out to ask about our bad experience. *We never got any survey or follow up >Oh, they also emailed me 30 times asking, so if you were counting that's 33 times they have asked about their presentation... >So overall, I highly highly HIGHLY suggest staying at another hotel or resort that is NOT ran by Hilton Grand Vacations. They will bug you constantly about their time share and will not stop when asked. Also they will just walk in on you, which I have never had happen anywhere.
Very nice, but studio room is very small. Not even of loveseat, just a single person armchair. Was certainly expecting more from a Hilton Grand studio.
Really fun spot! They have enough activities here you never have to leave the resort! At the same time the resort is central located to do many tourist locations it's easy to get around.
25th anniversary of this property and it still is fresh as maintenance and improvements have been done throughout the years. It's a good place to relax and enjoy by oneself or with the family. Wonderful pool area.
This place is phenomenal. I almost don't want to share this place with others b/c I don't want the popularity to cause the rates to skyrocket. The condos have everything, I mean everything you need. The property is not so overwhelming that you hate to walk to any amenities. You get a lot for your money, very shocking. So far they give more than they take. The 1st time ever feeling as though a resort upcharge fee was worth it because you literally get something back that you can use or be a recipient of. Housekeeping services daily, most resorts don't do that at all. They will service the place after you leave. So it's the best of both worlds, resort living with 5 star hotel benefits. I am a first timers here but this will NOT be my last time. Great front desk staff. Rebecca was nice and very energetic for a late night check in. Reuben in propety sales was nice. He wasn't too pushy. I have been to a number of resorts and hate to even check in due to the check in process is too lengthy because of sales which causes us to no longer visit that place. Though he was nice they will use other people to call you after saying no several times. Each day they keep calling the room waking you up, not nice. But they all are very pleasant and caring 1st before they make their sales pitch. The place is nice and well kept. I would suggest periodically cleaning the perimeter of the condos especially the areas that are exposed. That's just me, don't like to see piled up dust that you can tell has been there for a while. Just take a vacuum hose and touch the exposed areas at least so the guest won't see it. I love the screened balcony, nice touch it keeps bugs out and the balcony clean so guest can actually enjoy using it. Also a nice safety touch for families traveling with children. Now parents ultimately you still need to supervise your own children on the balcony. This property at 1st glance upon drive up has a Caribbean feel. I love this place, they have stolen me from my usual go to place for well over 7 years, which just so happened to be booked at the time. But a blessing in disguise because we found this place and at the time the rates were appealing to me. This is my now 1st choice go to place while lodging in Orlando. Thanks Hilton! I love Hilton properties even the more! #iamahiltonhonorsloyaltymember
Clean, convenient, and close to attractions. Water was leaking through the floor in the kitchen. We called maintenance and they never showed up. The yoga instructor was teaching a class in the middle of the playground and was yelling at the kids when they got to close to the mat.
Wonderful 2BR unit, fully equipped kitchen, balcony, Jacuzzi tub in master BR. Love that the 2nd BR is not connected to the master, rather across a very small hallway. Also 2 Full-size beds in 2nd BR was perfect for our 18- and 23-yr olds. 15 minutes from Universal, Disney, downtown Orlando. Would definitely stay here, again.
Really nice property close to Seaworld. We spent just a few more dollars and got a suite, and it was worth it. The extra space made the room feel very comfortable. Bed linens were nice. Great tub. Kitchen area had everything we needed. Full sized fridge. Stacked washer and dryer with big capacity. If I had one negative comment, it would be that the property is huge and we were not an easy walk from the central building and pool area.
