Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, healthy environment for the animals.

I liked it. It's a good place to go an adopt a dog or cat. I was going to adopt a dog but my cat needs his rabies shot. So have to get that done first. Anyway go there and save a life and get a best friend at the same time!

I adopted a cocker spaniel named Judy from there. Renamed her Princess and she is the best dog ever! I took her back after she was groomed so they could see the difference, and they were thrilled! They are really interested in helping animals find their forever homes. Thank you for my diva, Princess!

It is a nice facility the animals are cared for and the staff is sweet got my best fur baby there.

The staff and volunteers love these animals while they are looking for good homes.

This place needs to be expanded to help more. This is where our dog was rescued from. Love the place just hope more help so that more dogs , cats, etc. Find new homes.

They need more help, people who love animals and are unable to have them come help take care of them and give them lots of love, till they find a forever home and loving parents

They had no small dogs and only had 4 dogs total way to go ladies with placeing those dogs into homes.. Awesome Job

Not a good experience at all. Their staff not professional at all. They tell you to come back Monday for a meet and greet . I take time off of work bring my pet just to be told that the dog had been adopted . Very unprofessional .

The staff was great they seem to care for the animals very much, which is great sometimes that isn't always the case unfortunately.

Should be your first stop when you're looking for a new pet some of the best dogs and cats hack rabbits and goats will be shelter animals or rescues these people take good care of the animals that they get

Well one thing is for sure that all of these reviews are by people who actually work there. While this shelter does good work my review is for the people who do the adoptions. They let any one adopt. No background checks, no home checks nothing. When I asked about this they responded "if we did that we would never adopt pets out". I realize these people are working there for pennies and they mostly do it so people think they are special. But with advocates like this for pets no wonder so many are abused and put in terrible homes. RCACP You should be ashamed. You are there to protect the welfare of animals. From information I was given, you only fill a gap. Shame on you, there is no one to speak for these animals so I encourage more people to visit your facility, go to your "adopt a thons" (aka give a pet to anyone who will take it) events and make your voices known.

After filling out my application to adopt a dog, I figured out to keep an eye on stray dogs rather than dogs already to adopt. I reserved my name for a little one before they even put the dog's photo on their stray dog page on their website. After the stray waiting period was up, Ashlee called me right away. I came in that day and did a meet and greet. Everything went well. I never adopted a dog before. I didn't know how things would work when I brought my new dog home. I named him Lincoln. I've had him for two weeks now. He's a great little dog. I'm very happy. I am also happy Ashlee was so helpful with the process. One thing to note, the facility was very clean and did not smell. In addition, the staff in the front was very nice and helpful. Thank you RCACP!

Got a couple kittens. Down sides: my kids were not allowed to go back and look at cats and fosters are not allowed to use their own vet.

Got some foster kittens here and ended up keeping them. I appreciate this place and the employees and how they care for the animals.

Nice staff. Must be hard atmosphere to work in, yet people were kind.

They don t let your go threw and look at the animals like they use to wich is odd other shelters that house strays will do walk througha I can t look at a pice of paper with poor quality photos and say that s the one when u can actual see them you can feel and have a better connection and the lady bring the dogs out to show us said there was a limit of three Idk it was all very strange to me if you wanted animals to actual get adopted you would think it would be a better system epically when people don t want to take the time to show the dogs then let people walk back there it would save y all a lot of time
make people signe a waver or somthing before taking them back to look at the animals idk

We just moved into a new home and are just learning the spots in the fences the puppies can escape from , well needless to say they just ran off and found their ways to the road in front of the animal center (we don't live far from there) thankfully and we were called. The staff there was soooo friendly I was really thankful, they gave me some good advice, told me to keep the leashes they had them on, and were just incredibly friendly. Thank you so much!!!

Went to adopt a dog but the handler I spoke with wasn't knowledgeable and insisted that she was.

These people do good work and were very helpful with our adoption. The requirement for a meet and greet with our other dogs seemed unnecessarily burdensome though. Perhaps that was more about seeing how we take care of the dogs we already have and less about making sure the adoptee fits in.
