It was a,nice room with a kitchenette with a view of the ocean on the 18 th floor !!awesome

So I've never been dissatisfied with a Hilton stay before but I guess unfortunately there's a first time for everything. The hotel itself is very pretty, and the rooms are nice as well. Breakfast was pricey but delicious. But unfortunately poolside service was super slow and lacking, as we had to eventually clean up after ourselves because our plates and utensils were never collected. And then the the issues with our room. Our shower didn't drain so we felt rushed to shower before "time ran out" and we overflowed the bathroom. Last night when I got up to use the restroom there were two German cockroaches in the bathroom which is just unacceptable. And worst of all, I was walking barefoot in the room and stepped in something cold. When I looked at my foot, I had literally stepped on someone's phlegm. I guess someone before us thought it was better to spit on the floor than in a sink or something.

When checking out, the lady asked us if our stay was okay and I told her about the issues we encountered (minus the phlegm because I was too embarrassed) and she offered to refund us one night of resort fees. I'm not much of a negotiator so I accepted but I feel like my complaints deserved more adequate and appropriate compensation.

Anyway, I'll try the Marriott next time instead.

Excellent view, good attention, and incredible beaches

Excellent hotel with great views. Was lucky enough to stay in an ocean view suite with wrap around deck and it was amazing. Room was large with full kitchen and very cleanly. Bed wasn't the most comfy hence the 4 starts instead of 5. Highly recommended. Shout out to Edward at the front desk. Very friendly and very helpful and honest with all questions. Will be visiting again for sure.

My wife and I attended a great friend's wedding yesterday. The staff's attentiveness, genuine smiles, and professionalism all while navigating mother natures hurdles (rain), were second to none. We will definitly be back for a staycation!

Outdoor deck for bar overlooks the ocean, and Steak 954 is perfection!

A bit outdated, food is expensive, and cleaning service is inconsistent.

Located across the street from the ocean. Right in heart of the action. They provide free beach chairs. 2 restaurants on premises. The ocean side restaurant over looks the ocean and has outdoor fireplace. The balconies are very nice. The pool overlooks the ocean. 4 elevators, valet parking, and walking distance to all kinds of restaurants, stores, bars, water sports. River taxi nearby for traveling around the area. Volleyball and basketball courts about 1 mile south. Been coming here for years. Tried a number of hotels but this is our favorite.

The valet was very busy not his fault at all. I was stilled treated with courtesy. However, the event I was attending was unprofessional and needs restructuring. Instead of feeling welcomed I felt trapped and awkward. Just my personal experience. The HR department should rethink their overall unwelcoming attitude.

Very nice hotel, nice restaurant, great food. The service though is not very friendly, or appropriate from the staff, they can engage in flirtatious activities and have inappropriate atitudes with accompanied people.

Fine. Room was nice. Only 2 elevators worked so getting up and down was extremely slow and crowded. Wanted $75:for a late check-out. All employees were very friendly and helpful.

A lovely property in a beautiful location. They tend to guests wonderfully and we had no complaints.

We decided to take a romantic few days on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. After a lot of research, we settled upon the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach resort, and could not have been happier with our choice!

Our trip started a few hours before check in, when we met the front desk supervisor, Hira Hussein. That was the best luck we could have had. While we had booked a junior suite with an "ocean view", Ms. Hussein was excited by our support for the USA Women's soccer team, and decided to upgrade us to a one bedroom suite on one of the highest floor with a panoramic view of the ocean! It was absolutely gorgeous--nicest room we've ever stayed in!

On the second day, instead of taking a walk on the beach at sunrise as we planned, we decided to make coffee in our room and sit out on our balcony and watch the beautiful sunrise over the ocean--it was incredible!

Ms. Hussein also gave us two drink coupons to enjoy at Ilios, the restaurant by the pool, which we did while we waited for our room to be ready.

Ms. Hussein's warmth and kindness not only made us want to enjoy the other facilities at the hotel--we LOVED Ilios, especially on Monday's "burger and brew" night, and the breakfast there was delicious

We also had a wonderful massage at the Q spa (I wish I could remember my massage therapist's name....it began with a "t" and I had my appt on 7/8 at 3 pm :-).

There are many hotels on the strip that have a nice/similar beach area, the same views, the same restaurant/bars.....what made the Hilton experience so spectacular, was the incredible service, starting with Ms. Hussein, followed by the housekeeping staff, the valet staff, the restaurant staff, the spa staff and everyone we encountered!

We absolutely LOVED our stay, and will absolutely be BACK!!! What an awesome summer vacation! Can't wait to return--thanks Hira Hussein--your kindness and generosity started our trip off in an extraordinary way, and it only progressed from there!

Clean, well decorated hotel right on Ft Lauderdale beach with all the expected amenities and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Just watch out for parking, it's valet only at $40 a night.

So comfortable, the food is amazing, and theres even a clothing shop in there!

GREEN water! They actually tell you you get two bottles of water a day. They said, "Just ask at the front desk or go to the cafe." We thought that was a curious thing. Now we know why, GREEN water. Water in the bathroom tub, sink, toilet is GREEN! No glasses in the bathroom because they don't want you to drink it. You call the front desk and they say, " Oh yes, that's normal." News Flash! GREEN water is not normal. Hilton says nothing about that when you reserve your room. Our room has a very old sagging mattress, mold in the shower and the only outlet in the bathroom doesn't work. Called the front desk and the phone rang so long it went to a busy signal. True story! The staff is very courteous. That's the reason for two stars. Everyone is very nice.

We got the presidential suite and everybody was really nice at the front desk, even went as far as to book us reservations for dinner.

Restaurant om the pool level has the best sushi around. Views and service is amazing. I am a local, live 1/4 mile away, more locals need to come try them out!

Most amazing place great staff and beautifull rooms

I haven't had great customer service like this in awhile. Very welcoming staff throughout the hotel. Special thanks to philip at the pool and vincent at the bar. Two really cool directors. I myself work in a customer service heavy industry and i can tell when a hotel has a great corporate culture that revolves around great service and customer experience. I met briefly with the GM, John, to tell him that i was inpressed with his staff. He is a real pro. Anyway, i will definatively head back to this hotel for my next weekend getaway with the wife.

Great location, amazing beach view, and wonderful staff

Our trip was nice all around! Ricardo from valet was amazing! He laughed and joked with our boys. We was happy when we got him! Don't order from the pool servers during happy hour because it's not 1/2 off instead walk up to the bar yourself! They will tell you it's happy hour but not when you use a server!!! We was shamed with that deal! Besides that the hotel itself is clean and right one the beach! No parking though only valet. The other guest were a little stuffy and seemed rude at times! A tad bit racist towards my kids. But that had nothing to do with the services of the hotel. Just a heads up for interracial families or black families! I would stay here again when I come back because it's one of the better beach hotels. With valet being 40$ a day I wouldn't be so quick to feel like I need to tip big every time we used the service. They tell you that at the end if you book threw a travel site! The free Starbucks is a plus!!!

Nice hotel on the beach strip. Great location with plenty of amenities. Its a high rise so the views of the beach and the intercoastal are great. Services at the hotel are friendly and accommodating.

I would have given the Hilton Fort Lauderdale 10 stars, if possible! The location was AMAZING, as was the resort! Each staff member we encountered there made us feel like they owned the resort and that our satisfaction was a priority. They were pleasant, thoughtful and kind. Nothing was too much to ask of anyone there! The complimentary
breakfast...unbelievable! There was such a wide variety of food to choose from. The beds were so comfortable and the suites were clean and well equipped. I plan to make another trip there in the near future...definitely!

Wonderful amenities! You get beach chairs, and you can rent bikes from them for free. Wonderful views from 6th floor pool.

Live in Davie, Fl and this location is the best for a "staycation". Staff has always been warm and welcoming. Guest rooms are always keep in immaculate condition. People have different standards but everyone will love this hotel and it's location.

I went to the party hosted by my company.i went to the 6th floor pool area I absolutely lovedit.

Booked two nights to relax a bit beachside before flying back home. The hotel is beautiful and the staff attentive. My only real problems were this. First off, with Covid going on, there was not regular maid service... not a big deal, but they did not leave extra of anything in the room. So one roll of toilet paper, two disposable cups for the coffee maker,, two towels, etc. You had to call the desk for everything. However, they quickly bring ut when you ask. But when you book a room with 4 occupants, it would be nice if it was set up for 4 to start with. My main problem howevee was this. It would have been really nice to know that on Sunday the hotel turned into a giant party. I would definitely NOT have paid the prices they ask for an ocean view balcony room. They apparently have something called "Bubbles and Beats" on the pool desk (6th floor). It was fun for the first couple of house, but quickly got annoying. It started at about 10 am and went on all day long. The music was so loud, we could not sit on the balcony on the 14th floor and have a conversation. Even inside the room, it would rattle the balcony door! About 4 pm we got tired of it and went to an early dinner. When we returned, almost 4 hours later at 7:30 pm, it was still going on! We even stopped by the desk to see when it would be over since we has an early flight the next morning. They really couldn't give us an answer other than "it should be wrapping up". Not a place to relax, and don't waste your money for a balcony upgrade on the weekends, you won't be able to use it comfortably

The hotel staff was quite friendly. They do nickel and dime you on everything. They charge 50.00 a night just for the hotel "allowing" you to keep your car there. They do allow you to use the lounge chairs on the beach , However if you want the luxury of shade it's going to cost you $25.00 to use the umbrella. The continental breakfast per person is 20.00 each day. The all American breakfast is 34.00 per person per day. For two consecutive days we were seated for breakfast and left and forgotten at the table. No drinks or service at all!!. Needless to say will not be going back.

This is a long-overdue review. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. Last year in August, September, and October I had work travel trips to South Florida that would require me to stay through weekends. On all three trips, this was my weekend hotel of choice. Hotel staff is extremely professional and was very appreciative of my Hilton Honors Diamond member status. On each stay, they were able to get me an early check-in and on my 3rd stay in October, they upgraded me to a 24th-floor suite that had a full kitchen with a wrap-around balcony overlooking the Beach and Ft. Lauderdale Skyline. The hotel as a whole and the rooms are very clean. The Beach is literally right across the street and the pool deck is huge with a clean south Florida vibe. There is a Publix right up the road and around the corner from the hotel. I would grocery shop there on Friday's to get provisions for the weekend and on Saturday nights I ate at the 1st-floor restaurant s3 which is delicious. I absolutely will stay here again and will recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to the area.

The rooms, the pool, the location and the beach are nice. The staff ok.

What is not possible is the cleanliness and furnishings of the room. Crumbs and food stains from the previous guest in the fridge, the kitchen generally dingy and really badly equipped. The cutlery partly rusty and also for the suite, occupied by 4 people, too little cutlery and just 2 glasses. One of the toilets was already clogged on arrival, the toilet paper was almost empty. The bathroom furnishings are not even the minimum standard, empty boxes for facial tissues and a small pack of shampoo in the shower.
On arrival the second bed was not prepared and there was no corresponding number of towels, no bathrobes available.
The terrace is so dirty that you get black feet without shoes, and there were two cigarette butts and straws on the floor.

After listing the complaints, they were partially resolved, partially.
As noted in other reviews of Hilton hotels, the standard is far from the chain's claim.

The price-performance ratio is not right here. We will not book another hotel from the Hilton chain!

The Hilton staff, mostly John in reservations, took care of my team of worker that needed to leave another Hilton property that was in poor condition. John and team made my team feel welcomed by helping us get into this location and with respectable rooms. Thank you for making diamond members happy!

Wow. Awful. Took 15 minutes to get the hot water working in our room we had to call someone to look at it to fix it. The jetstream in the bath tub was broken. There were no cups in our room to even drink our water from. There was no truth brush or tooth paste. Just all-around terrible.

My cousin has a condominium in this building. I've had lunch there with him on two occasions. Yesterday I was extremely impressed, with what seems odd, at a sign I viewed in the ladies restroom. The sign red are you having a bad date? If so please tell any of our servers or employees that you would like an Angel shot. That is their clue that you are having a hard time getting away from a date or you're having a very bad date and you don't feel safe. I was very impressed at the Hilton would go through such lengths to keep visitors or local clientele comfortable with their visit and protecting women in such an unusual fashion. Kudos to the Hilton. I would love this to be a national sign to all young and older women so they can feel comfortable going on a date and not having to worry about being taken advantage.

Very nice property, clean, and located directly across from the beach. It s also right next-door to the Conrad, but of course a fraction of the cost. Parking is valet only, $45 a night. Great restaurant on site.

Great location and nice pool. We had a suite which was fine itself but it's weird for a suite to be on the second floor which had little light and felt like a cave. Staff was friendly but service was hit or miss in that it took incredibly long for anything to get to you. The pool is great but know that to get a seat, you need to stake out a seat at like 7am. By even 9am your out of luck. A good portion of the chairs are reserved for the cabanas too (which i wish we knew about so we could have gotten one). There was also a wedding there on Saturday so guests got kicked out of the pool at 3pm which is unacceptable. They should tell you that when you're booking. Who visits FLL and doesn't come to sit at the pool or beach?!

Best service EVER!!! Nothing they wouldn't try to do to make a client happy. Satisfied every time we visit - and we are local.

Great weekend staying here with my family. We are locals but we love to stay by the beach on weekends. This Hotel is perfect for a get away weekend. No driving no nothing just chill and enjoy. Totally will comeback

Service is great. Just if you want to sleep on the sleeper sofa,you need to choose between firm or foam pillows when you call down for sheets

Beach View wrap around patio. Great views from patio and bathroom. Great space. Has full kitchen but you must ask for the dishes as they don't leave the in the room for health reasons per the state of FL. Room at 2 bathrooms, sitting room, foyer and 180 view of the beach and the road. Bikes were available to rent for free, lot of action in area. You can take a trolley or uber around the area. The restaurant has a great breakfast buffet. The food is ok for dinner but breakfast is fab. Be sure to enjoy one day sitting outside while having breakfast.

I don't rate many hotels, because 95% of the time they are pretty standard. You know what you are getting with the Brand you are used to. This Hilton was a step above and made our past weekend a memory for our 20th anniversary (just a quick weekend away without the kids).

The biggest standout at this hotel are the people - they all go above and beyond to make sure you are having a great experience. I didn't get all the names but a few stands for us were: Lavine, Farah and Phillip in the breakfast restaurant and of course Ryan the bartender! But it was everyone from the front desk to the people handing out the towels at the pool.

This Hilton has beautiful rooms. We had a corner suite which was huge and had a kitchen, living room with a huge balcony overlooking the ocean and causeway, bedroom with ocean view and large bathroom with jet tub and walk in shower. Everything was clean and well maintained. We loved the shower, the water comes out like a heavy rainfall and was very soothing.....

The resort had an awesome continental breakfast that could be upgraded to include an omelet station and other hot stuff. We didn't try the lunch or dinner options, but I'm sure they are excellent, based off the breakfast food.

They also have a nice pool area and beach chairs across the road at the ocean. Towel are located at both locations for your use. I also saw they had kids activities going on at the pool. Mostly little ones (not teenage level). They had a DJ playing music at the pool on Saturday, which reminded me of being on a cruise ship. Drinks were pricey but good (also similar to cruise ship)

One last thing - the Spa was excellent. My wife commented that it might have been the best massage she had ever had. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it in her eyes.

We Uber'd from the airport, so no comment on the valet parking? Uber ran around $12-14 from the airport if I remember correctly?

I usually try to stay at bigger chain hotels to get points for hotel stays, but when the Westin was booked on a recent trip to FL, I ended up at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. It turned out to be even more ideally located than th Westin for me!

Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly front desk staff. Furniture is a little dated and TVs are small/mid-quality. Restaurant is excellent. The W hotel and Conrad are next door and probably offer more bang for the buck.
