Check in is reminiscent of waiting in line at the Post Office, 8 available spots for registration clerks, two clerks only there to check in 30 guests. After waiting 45 minutes in line, Clerk said they were out of non smoking rooms and we were forced into a smoking room. Getting off the elevator we were punched in the face by a skunk weed smell from hell. The whole floor smelled like a Bob Marley concert. Of course the room smelled like an ash tray...No surprise there... The front desk people show no customer service skills whatsoever. They're rude, abrupt and totally disinterested. It's a typical low end Vegas Hotel, just a notch better than the Lynq. If you don't care about customer service, this place is for you. If you do care about customer service, spend a little more and go somewhere else..... Good Luck.

My husband and I visit Vegas a few times a year and always stay at Flamingo. The majority of their rooms were recently upgraded and are nice but nothing super fancy. We don't spend a ton of time in our room so we aren't really looking for anything super crazy anyway, just a clean, reasonably priced hotel in a good location which is exactly what Flamingo is.

The Bird Bar is one of our favorite places to just hang out when we are there - the bartenders are awesome and the people watching is top notch. We also like their spa as it is usually not too busy and has all of the basic amenities you would like. However, on our recent visit it was super noisy during our massage so we will probably check out another spa next time we are back in town.

For rooms, I would suggest not getting a room in the spa tower. We stayed there this last trip and our room was actually pretty dirty and we were disappointed. Outside of this trip, we haven't had an issue.

If you're looking for a hotel that is more of a no frills in a good location, Flamingo is a good bet

This establishment is located directly off the Linq which is home to a multitude of shops and stores and easily walkable from the strip. I got the sense that this hotel/casino was a little more pedestrian as compared to the Venetian/Palazzo or the Wynn hotels down the road, the bathrooms definitely allude to this conclusion as well.

The main uniqueness and draw to this hotel is that there's an outdoor sanctuary with a handful of live flamingos, pelicans, turtles and various other exotic birds.

Personally, I would not stay here overnight, but would recommend stopping by whilst perusing shops on the Linq.

When I arrived they didn't have any of the room I booked months ago?? What's the point of booking the room in advance?

Downgraded to a room I don't like.

Will update if customer service makes an effort to correct.

I love Margaritaville and the gift shop was actually affordable!!! I wish there was a non-smoking section for those of us that don't want to be around it. There are more of us than you think.

The hotel is centrally located and self parking was simple and self explanatory. The rooms appeared to be clean, but upon further inspection it was a little gross - the bathroom ceiling was covered in hair from previous people, and underneath the sink was dirty and appeared to be moldy. We did come back one day to stained blankets and they were quick to fix it, along with a faulty AC. But the worst thing we encountered was our last two days, they apparently decided to replace hotel room windows at 8 am on a Thursday and Friday morning. We contacted the front desk to let them know it was extremely loud and shaking our room, we were basically forced out of our room in order to get some peace and quiet. They told us it would be over by 2 PM and asked if we needed anything else... really? If you want a cheap centrally located hotel, then sure - stay here. But if you can afford more, stay elsewhere. The casino is cramped and extremely smoky, even our room smelled like cigarettes and we were on a non-smoking floor. Not to mention, the Wyndham hotel stalkers at the hotel elevators trying to scheme you into free items in exchange for a time-share presentation.

Flamingos are awesome, 4 stars caz of the extortive flamingo ladies that walk around the street for photos. They just kept asking for more until u become really uncomfortable...kinda ruins their image.

Agreeing on a tip before u decide to take photos with them should help.

I love this place I stay here every year the rooms are remodeled, they have an awesome kiosk system where you can pick up your room keys without having to stand in line which I really like.

The casino is decent the cocktails are pretty generous. Really enjoy the free parking the cleanliness and the staff are all top-notch.

The only real issue we had was trying to mail a letter at the front desk. The mail box was broken the the woman at the front desk could not be bothered to drop a postcard into our going mail. But in the end it worked out better for us. We went over to the casino next door to drop off our mail and win there.

Do NOT try to drive to the hotel. Leave it to the professionals. I never could find out where the entrance to valet parking was. They hid it incredibly well; no signs at all. Ended up parking at Linq. Huge amount of construction in the area. Room was fine. Ozone in the casino was a bit overpowering in areas. Nice variety of video slots. Fun to visit the live flamingos.

Changed rooms 3 times. Dirty furniture and dirty carpets. Phone didn't work in first room. Staff was mostly helpful. Too many peddlers trying to sell time shares. It got annoying. Won't stay here again.

Stayed in 10173 through the Habitat elevators. Labelled as a Newly Remodeled room, and this is the Suite upgrade. Room was spacious, with great floor to ceiling windows, although my view was away from the strip and facing the other Flamingo tower, so not much to see there. Request an Even numbered room to face outward and have a slight view of the strip. Great room for me by myself, and would've been fine for my wife and I as well.

The Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I selected the Go Delux. It didn't have a coffee maker in the room. But not a big deal. Courteous Staff but rated 3 stars because the people at front desk were very slow having me wait 45 min with only one person in front of me. No courtesy apology offered.

Listen up...the Flamingo is a classic so it s both old and new, undergoing various stages of remodeling. It was the first full resort on the strip in the 40s and has had many updates. If you want quiet, request a higher floor room, and if you want to be sure you ve got a remodeled room, request it. Most rooms don t have tubs, and between this and the Linq I have found the amenities themselves inconsistent but the service very good and pleasant and the rooms clean. The location is perfect. Right in the middle of the strip. The casino is decent and there is usually a good show in their theater (Paula Abdul at this time of writing this) The Flamingo is not a luxury VIP place but it s a good value for sure. Don t miss the atrium with its live flamingo habitat.

This resort casino was one of our favorite. I really liked the fact that it was not like a maze the exits were easy to find. The whole place had a nice open feel to it, the staff we did talk to were friendly and helpful. They also have a small flamingos habitat, which also has some other birds like a black swan. Also in the artificial river they have out there there are some giant koi fish that were really neat to see.. I recommend going and seeing the flamingos habitat at night because there is hardly anyone there and it's quiet and quite relaxing compared to hussel and bussel of the rest of the casino.

We booked a Go room and checked in at the kiosk. We received a free upgrade for a Flamingo Executive Room. That s the first 3 pictures. The rooms were advertised as updated so we requested to be moved. After much waiting and taking to a lot of people, we were finally moved into a renovated room that smelled less like smoke. The main floor is pretty outdated, but it was cool staying in the oldest hotel on the strip and our second room was great!

I really like The Flamingo. It's nice, in a perfect location, has an excellent buffet (Paradise Garden), a very good food court, a good Tex-Mex place in the middle, nice rooms, friendly staff, and good table gaming. The Flamingo is a home run.

The hotel is in the very center of the Strip (the central road of new Las Vegas), has plenty of bar, restaurants and shops. It has a huge internal casino and a park with flamingoes. Prices are good. I got a renewed room that was spacious. The bed are too soft for my taste. The room view was not nice but considering the price paid was anyway acceptable. The common area are a bit old fashioned with damages here and there but the hotel is being refurbished so I think will be fixed. Overall acceptable price / quality. This is the right spot for people that want to live the city. If you need the last fashioned hotel is not the right one for you.

Modern hotel' las vegas style. At the ground floor there is the casino and the bars and restaurants, with a lot of people. The check in can be done in person or with the self check in. The garden is very nice, with the real Flamingo, as well as the swimming pool area. The WiFi is good, but only two devices are included. Large and modern rooms, with two big beds. Around the casino all the possible shops. Impersonal, chaotic, las vegas style. If you like it, it depends on what you are looking for.

We have been to Las Vegas many times. This was the first time at the Flamingo.....never again. We stayed here because my daughter had her wedding at Paradise Falls.....which was beautiful. I have only positive things to say about the entire wedding experience. The hotel, service and everything about it, was terrible. The entire 5 days we were there, they did not clean our room, no room service. No service at all. Many things were broken in our room. Very disorganized. My daughter's vehicle was stolen out of the parking garage. What a hot mess.

Self check in was easy and they gave us a huge room and it was beautiful and clean. We had a question with parking and they texted right back. Additionally, check out was by cell phone. Really easy.

Great views of the strip on this vacation, last trip we didn't get this view. Flamingo is a great place to stay and the upgrades look great. Staff are super helpful and pleasant to deal with. One of the few hotels that seem to run on clockwork, smooth and seamless. Flamingo is always on my radar when planning a Vegas trip, thanks for all you do!!

Great location, poor amenities... no coffee in rooms, no laundry bags, no plastic water cups, I did like the dispensers with soap, shampoo, lotion, body wash. Or room was sprayed with deodorizer so bad I couldn't breath, that was the new room's they just updated. Keeping the fan on high helped but then it smelled like smoke.

Horrible customer service. The worst. Needed a new key card and literally stood in 3 different lines, taking 45 minutes. No shower before flight. No employee able (or willing) to help on a simple request. Never staying here again.

We loved this hotel! The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating with helping us change to a smoking room. Which by the way did not smell like smoke at all. We were close to everything and plan to stay here again when we come back next year! Just great and a great price..

This was my first time visiting The Flamingo. Our first room was not what we expected or what was promised really. We worked with the Desk Manager and received some newer rooms that were actually clean. The casino was nice and most of the amenities were as expected.

It's my first time here in Vegas, work related, and I stayed in Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Everything was perfect. Hotel is in a perfect spot with lots of dining nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. . I loved the service and the employees are very kind!

Great hotel. When we checked in the agent wrote down the wrong room number for us so that I had to ran downstairs to fix it. As a courtesy they canceled the resort fee. They also kept our bags for half a day after we check out. The flamingos and animals in the gardens were lovely. Cute room with lovely window scene for both high roller and Caesars Palace across the street.

I like to try different hotels in Vegas. This trip was the Flamingo. Room was clean but one of the TVs was broken. The entire hotel smelled of weed, good or bad depending on your perspective. Check in procedure was confusing but staff was friendly. Will not stay there again.

They wouldn't clean our room once and we were there 5 Days! I get the whole covid issue but this is more reason to keep the rooms clean... Ran out of paper waited 3 hours for towels... Truly sad experience!

The Flamingo is a great value if you choose updated rooms. I have stayed there many times and never had an issue with the hotel directly, only one issue with a small shop by the spa.

This store is called Le Savon and the staff was being insulting to some of my family members. By the reviews for that business it does not appear to be a unique problem and the Flamingo management should do something about it.

Look, it is what it is, and if you re into that sort of thing, this place is perfect. I ve stayed here a bunch of times, and it s center of the strip and convenient to everything and everywhere. It s not luxe, and it s mainly for locals, but if you want to have some fun playing with locals, you are in luck. These are the poker games you wish you were able to play elsewhere, but they have all the fun. Stay here and you ll have a good time if you don t mind the cigarette smoke. Don t count on the pool, but at least they do have one.

Our visit was to view the bird reserve at the Flamingo. It was one of the best places to visit among the different hotels. We enjoyed the pelican feeding and the caretaker was informative and did a great job. The grounds were clean and orderly and we enjoyed our quick visit.

Cute room but the carpet was very dirty. Service was good and staff was friendly. My first time there. It was affordable but certainly the least nice of anywhere I have stayed in Vegas.

Had a nice view of the pool and the hi-rise roller but we reserve a non-smoking room and walking into it it smelled like smoke and weed plus dirty towels and finding food in the drawers from previous occupants.

The hotel is clean. The service is ok. The location is great. The pricing is great. The staff are not very friendly when you see them throughout the hotel. The front staff at check in/out are more friendly. Ask for a newly renovated room. Its really worth it. They need a great job with renovations.
