My stay at the Flamingo had bumps to say the least from the heat in the room.not working to rooms not clean and bugs in the beds. Finally after a few days upper management made it in and upgraded our room to make the rest of our stay but the customer service of you are not a manager is just awful..
The Flamingo is an older hotel in Las Vegas. We went to see the small Flamingo Park at the hotel. It's something to do for free. It takes five minutes. 2 flamingos and some fish it's done.
The name is no lie. There are actually flamingos here. Super cool area to see a lot of neat stuff.
The remodeled room was nice but they have quit putting coffee pots in the rooms. A microwave would also be nice.

The hotel was fun, but our suite (Go Mini Suite) was quite dated and the rooms fittings/walls definitely needed some work.
We had friends staying in the newly renovated rooms and they were much nicer (non suite rooms).
Unless you need the extra space, I d book the Deluxe room

Except they fail to tell you the resort fee is $41 + change

In the midts of the strips and inside the Flamingo plaza, so you can see a lot of stores and coffee shop as well as gaming machines.
Negative:
Not clear direction from the parking lot to the lobby and from the lobby to the hotel room. We had to ask a lot of people just to get to the room. The self check-in/out machines don't work well. The reservation system also got my middle name messed up and mixed with my last name.

Too old, everything is aged and a bit dirty. The ceiling is low, the casino is ok, (beer pong is the only real attraction there). Better stores in other hotels
I wish if I could give 0 star, super bad customer service, receptionist and the securities are super rude, mine door key lock was not working, back and forth I was going for help, 6th time someone came with us and helped finally, a lot more bad experiences from this hotel, please avoid this hotel

The flamingo s are a nice touch but it s not anything you can t see at whatever zoo is near ya.
We found a dill whit 18$/night. Check in start at 3:45 ! Hotel is placed in a good area of Vegas The room was clean . At the end they charge 40$ for resort utilities.
Had a great time at the Flamingo. The rooms are super nice and clean. we also had a great view of the strip.
Room smelled like Marijuana, a hskp was sent up to spray. Everytime we called, the person at guest services sounded as if we were bothering her when in actuality we were just informing her of damage already present in the room that we did not want to be charged for. Although requested, Engineering never showed up.
Charged us for the amenities like the pool and the gym but wouldn't allow us to use the pool or the gym. Staff were not friendly or helpful at all. No room service. The adjoining room with party all night long and we got no sleep the whole week, the hotel said there was nothing they could do. They didn't have anything in the room except a bed and a TV. The bathroom light didn't work and neither did the hair dryer... Overall worst experience in my life.
Had myself a great time. Staff was helpful, luggage system was awesome, even the Veterans appreciation Valet was wonderful. Lots to do.

Great pool party. Good music. So glad it wasn't too difficult to get in. The line moved pretty fast. Saw 2 people too drunk to walk and needing wheelchair assistance. So can y'all please drink plenty of water!? The heat is no joke!
Every worker that I encountered was nice. The AC had to be checked multiple times during our stay. The bathrooms are weird! There is a frosted glass sliding door that doesn't latch or lock. There was very little privacy.
I liked that it wasn't as huge as some of the others. The only bad part was getting bombarded every time we got off the elevator, one their employees trying to sell us something. Honestly I was over it by the last day we were there
My husband and I were extremely pleased with our stay at the Flamingo. We booked our trip just a week before the flight when we found a great deal we couldn't pass up. We choose the Flamingo due to it's great location on the strip. Not only was the location perfect, the hotel and rooms were much nicer than we expected and the hotel staff were all so friendly, helpful, and even hilarious! Our view was incredible! We could easily see the Bellagio fountains, the Luxor beam and the Paris Eiffel Tower and hot air balloon. Watching the fountains from our room was definitely a highlight of our trip. Only down side was that our room wasn't fully stocked and we had to call down for supplies and the rooms could use some updates but overall we had a fantastic stay at the Flamingo and would absolutely stay there again!

In the times of Covid this hotel chooses to not allow their own hotel guests in their pool. Imagine going to a hotel in the middle of the dessert, paying resort fees what a joke
Absolutely horrible service. Was told how great the hotel was by friends, and insisted we stay there. I book the Forever Fab suite, which is one of their priciest rooms. I look at room options again, and see their prices have dropped significantly (saving me almost $300). I thought great, I ll call and have them price match. I called to find out they won t just do a price match, even though it s their own website. You have to screen shot their website, and send it in to them, for them to decide if they will give you the price ON THEIR WEBSITE!! I could completely understand if I wanted the price match from a 3rd party website, but this was their own reservations page. I canceled our reservation, and am staying elsewhere.
This hotel is dirty and the managers and staff were very rude all we wanted to do was go to the pool on our last night and they didn t have no solutions to helping us we had to do room service ourselves and hunt down people in order to get fresh towels and sheets I do not advise you to stay here
It's a big hotels with a casino in it. The hotel is a bit run down and in need of a remodeling job. Over all its an attraction you will want to stop in for a look around.
We love the flamingo when we go to Vegas. The price is right. We can have a great time if we stay at the flamingo which is very reasonable for weekday stays. The flamingo is accommodating to large groups and parties. The suites are luxurious with nice sitting areas. The views were lovely and the flamingo is in the heart of the action. We recommend. Enjoy.

I was pleasantly surprised about the Flamingo. It is not the usual upscale hotel that I stay in when I m in Vegas but it was very comfortable. I had a beautiful spacious room. The grounds are gorgeous. I enjoyed watching the animals especially the black swan. Great central location.

Flamingo was a great hotel. Nice renovated rooms and clean. Almost smoke free. Cleaner air. Ballys casino smoke just about killed us lol.had to go outside for fresh air. flamingo could not smell the smoke much cleaner air. Will go back to Flamingos again!!

Original room had so much construction noise we had to be moved. The new room was filthy(see pictures). Food spilled and dried on the table and night stands, plastic tag hangers from clothing on the floor, crumbs allover the rug and next to bed, stuff spilled all over the chair, and we no longer had a decent view. We were staring at the side of the building. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Go somewhere cheaper off the strip and Uber if you don't want to pay parking downtown.
First room we got had a great view but room wasn't cleaned up all the way and romelle helped us out of that situation .. all the vending machines are out of Gatorade (I tried 12 of them lol)
Lots of nice remodeling. It's been quite some time before I've been there. Worth the stop by. The pit seemed quiet except for a craps table where they were losing money.

Convenient location, lots of elevators, and barely waited for an elevator. Seen other reviews commenting on this and people would stop walking at the first four elevators and had they walked another ten feet to the other group of elevators, you never waited. Clean rooms, and friendly staff. I deducted one star because of express check in, if your an international traveler, skip this and go to the line for the desk. We tried four pieces of information and the machine kept asking for more information.
Rooms are pretty nice now. Pool area was nice. Cheap but, a good hotel to stay at on a budget.

Even if you reserved a non smoking room they will tell you they can t guarantee and gives you a bedroom that smells cigarette all time like some one is smoking on your side...
They didnt hit me with additional fee till I got there and tried to hit me with fees when I left. Other than that it was cool. If you want to visit Vegas on a budget and be kid friendly, this is the place to go. Coffee shop is amazing and customer service is great.
Great location at the strip. The lobby is dated, but the rooms are good. The strange thing is that the bathroom had no lock. It is ok when you with family, but something worth knowing

Really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was great and helpful. The room was clean and sanitized. I had a great view of the Bellagio Fountains and the Strip from my room. Buffets were closed in Vegas for the most part and the hotel had a great (but spendy) food court. Casino was clean and well staffed. Machines were constantly being cleaned, etc. Masks at all times.

Stayed 4 nights at Flamingo. Amazing flamingo garden!!! Very close to Monorail, which we used everyday to get to and from convention center and Stratosphere. Room was nice and clean. Had our first ever experience gambling. Casino people were helpful and made our experience unforgettable! The lady who served our drinks was very pleasant and remembered our drinks from 2 nights before. Love her! Housekeeping staff were polite. 4 stars because buffet closes at 2pm. That's the only downside. Will stay again!
Everything was great. Nice room nice place. But how is room service gonna close at 1pm on a Sunday.... I think that's some BS.
3rd time me and my family stayed here we always have a blast lines are long but the plus side is the clean rooms and it's on the striped which we love to walk. Always looking forward to staying here I've always had a great experience here.

The updates to the Flamingo are quite impressive and really add a fresh look to this older property. The casino is your average casino with nothing really standing out that makes it any different. Lots of different options for food and drinks are available as well as a good amount of shopping. The clean rooms and friendly staff earn four stars overall. Some of the bartenders at different establishments need to work on their overall attitude towards the customers, however.
I'm a local and I love this old staple. Such a fun pool. They updated the rooms which turned out super nice! I really enjoyed the little pond area to relax with some running water, very soothing. Recommended to everyone!
This was a real cool place to stay. Its classic Vegas.
Rooms were okay, nothing fancy. We didn't ask for a special view, but we could see the LINQ High Roller wheel and the zipline from our window.
PARKING gets 2 stars-Parking garage was older, seven floors high, with places designed for small to compact vehicles. Some places in the garage you couldn't turn around so you would have to back out from where you were. It was very full and spaces were tight. We parked on the 7th floor, which did not have direct access to the elevator. We had to go down a small flight of stairs with our luggage. If we would have needed accessible parking/access, we would have been in trouble. Plus it was $15 per night.
We LOVED the location of the hotel. It was right in the middle of The Strip and adjacent to the Promenade, which had lots of shops and restaurants. It was also a short walk to the Bellagio fountains which were wonderful to watch each night.
The food court inside the hotel was okay.
Carlos and Charlie's restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was great, but be sure to read your menu. Chips and salsa cost $7.50.
The buffet in the Flamingo had a lot of options for brunch. Go hungry and pace yourself.
Just check online before you travel for deals on rooms and food. The price of our room dropped almost $100 the week before we left, just enough time to cancel and re-book without a fee. You can also get Groupon specials on the buffet and most attractions.
Suggestion for the hotel about the sales people who try to get you to go to a timeshare presentation, I would rather be given a brochure that I can look at in my room and choose a reward for attending your breakfast/info session rather than feel pressured to make decisions in your lobby after I just drove 6-7 hours to be there for a relaxing and fun vacation.
Centrally located. Nice employees. Easy check in and out. Decent rooms. Average price.
Dirty! The room was not cleaned good enough. There was pee stains on the wall behind the toilet. Black mold on the bottom of the shower. Dusty in spots. All clearly visible. Needs a deep clean.
Good hotel to stay, located in the center near Caesar and Bellagio. Our room was kind of old fashion, but the price for it was very affordable. There is no fridge in room, but you can get some free ice in the hall of your floor.
A view was on hotel s garden and pools. When we were there Beach Pool (good, but works only until 5 pm) and Go Pool (21+, very load, it s good only for pool party not for calm relaxing) were the only pools which were available for guests. The hotel s garden is amazing! A lot of different birds including wonderful flamingos.
The most important thing here is they have flamingos. The disadvantage of that most important thing is that the area where the flamingos are kinda smells. Otherwise everything matches up with literally everything else on the strip. FLAMINGOS!
View from 28th Floor. Be prepared to WALK non-stop.
The Flamingo has become my first choice when visiting Las Vegas, which is 4+ times per year. The remodeled rooms are well appointed. The property is always neat and clean. The staff is really outstanding, plenty of staff and everyone is always will to assist you in anyway they can. Great table gaming staff. A perfect location for this awesome property.
The metropolitan suite is worth staying at. Hotel isn't extremely swanky and isn't as up to date with the others, but it's in a good location.
I'd stay again but not if I can afford to splurge.
It's a little dated on the inside, but the staff is super friendly and the conference rooms are great.

We loved our stay here!! We've stayed all over the strip, but never the Flamingo because we thought it was too old. Huge mistake! The rooms are basic but at least have fridges, decent a/c and plenty of space. The best part was the promenade in between the Linq and the Flamingo, we spent hours there! We spent a few days at the pool and had a GREAT time, but get there early to get a spot! The pink flamingos at the pool bar are my new favourite drink, I'll be making them at home all summer to drink while I lounge in my kiddie pool pretending I'm still there! Also, Ruth Sanchez at the front desk was GREAT, so friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely interested at the story of how me and my husband met in Vegas, we loved her!! 10/10 will return many times!
Staying here now- The hotel staff are so rude- felt like everyone there hates their job but the pool is the worst!!! The security guards treated me like I didn t belong even though I am a hotel guest- I didn t know there is no place to hang out at the pool unless your partying - tried to go to family pool it was closed at 5 never will I stay here again

Bright and gawdy, as you would expect from the Strip. Room service has almost no vegetarian options, and allows no substitutions. And final price was almost double what the menu states. Not worth it, sadly.
Oh and there are plenty of options in the lobby to part fools from their money.
was a great room and view and buffet was delicious! However if your taking the kiddo's ....not a good place in summer time crowd. Big time party people only! No arcade either ;( live & learn, however kids did enjoy the flamingos!
