Dirty and nasty thought we were getting an updated newly renovated room. You have been closed for months. That place should have been cleaned, painted, and carpets changed or cleaned. It was disgusting

Didn t get a newly renovated room. Our floor smelled like a bunch of cigarettes. If you re looking to get in the pool I suggest sending a text between 10:00-10:05 or you won t get in. They only give you 10 mins to get to the pool area or you lose your reservation which is nearly impossible. Room came with a fridge but sadly no microwave. Hotel was in a convenient spot on the trip. Mask available everywhere throughout the lobby. Biggest complaint is there s a $50 a day resort fee and you barely have access to the resort. ALSO NO IN ROOM DINING.
Have stayed here both times we have been to Las Vegas (we are from NZ). The location is great, right on the strip so we could walk to all the other casinos easy as. Rooms are great and just what we needed, awesome views. We found the staff helpful. We even booked a limo for a group of us from the taxi stand to get to Fremont Street. It was cool to catch the monorail just for something different which goes between hotels, the Flamingo is one of the stops. Food court is sweet. It's simple but perfect and close to everything we need. We will always go back to the Flamingo!
We have stayed at The Flamingo multiple times and we have not been disappointed!
On both occasions the room was recently renovated and the view was great!
However one time the glass bathroom door came off it's runners and I got stuck in the bathroom! Maintenance came and rescued me! It was funny and memorable more than anything. Did not put me off coming back which we did!
The location is great center strip! And they have a Margaritaville in the hotel too!
Great hotel, friendly staff, clean room, & great view. Best of all its location is right in the middle of everything. (If there was a tiny microwave in the room or even one where the ice machine is located I would have given 5 stars)
I made a reservation here I got there to check in and was told once she pulled up my information that my room was given away. How unprofessional and was told there was nothing they can do because another staff member had given my room away and there was no more rooms in the hotel so that I had to go look for another room which I found at a nearby popular hotel that I spent my money on and I was more than happy to spend it at the other hotel and to spend it at the flamingo never again will I do business nor will my family who travels to Vegas alot! Very dissapointed!
THANK YOU FLAMINGO FOR DONNY AND MARIE. Saw them for the second time - this time my daughter gave me an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas to see Donny and Marie. She said the tickets were tooo expensive and were sitting way in the back! BUT when we got there, she said - Let's go down and get our picture taken by the stage - then she said we're sitting right there!! She got tickets right next to the stage - my arm was resting on the stage!!! OH WOW! It was wonderful! D&M are so talented! Enjoyed it all!!! A wonderful and heartfelt thank you to my daughter!!
On a lesser note - the chairs are not good for all us old fans!! My back will never be the same again!!! NEW CHAIRS PLEASE!!
The flamingo is such a classic strip hotel. The basic rooms are just that, mostly basic. The property is very big, it takes a while to get from point a to b here. However, the central location is nice. I don t stay at these hotels any more because the cost of parking a resort fees suck the value out of these hotels, but they are still pretty cool to visit. The gold trim and flamingos that live on the property are pretty cool. Another cool thing about this hotel is it s pool, it s pretty huge a great for pool parties. I think there have been a few tv shows filmed at this pool.
Horrible customer service by front desk manager and could never get Malinda Nevill -Guest Service Manager to call me back after multiple calls and messages. Refused to refund money and went as far as a pending deposit in my account and then they cancelled and pulled it back. Have traveled multiple time to a Vegas and will NOT stay at another Caesar's property
The first time we stayed here it was amazing. In only a few years it has gone down hill. My husband and I had to change rooms 3 times because the rooms were dusty, sheets had hair on them and were dirty, TV in the bathroom didn't work and when we finally got to a nice room there was a cigarette burn on the blanket and they had to come and change the sheets. There was a sewage smell that came from the bathroom every day in the afternoon around the same time. Front desk swore nobody else ever complained about it. We realized that this hotel is for college kids on Spring Break not Adults. Anybody will realize this once you step foot in the Aria, Bellagio or Cosmopolitan. It's a totally different vibe and crowd. We will never step foot in the Flamingo again.
Flamingo is one of my favorite casinos on the strip. Their gaming floor is often loud with cheers from the card, roulette & craps players (I recommend roulette).
Great location in the middle of the strip and if you can stay in one of their newly renovated rooms. Not happy about the "resort fee" since the pool was closed and we couldn't find the gym. Plus they didnt offer any craps, or sports betting lessons. We would have indulged alot more if we understood how things work.
this place is hands down one of my favorite casinos on the strip it's also one of the oldest hotels on the strip and it's one of the nicest I've stayed up on the 23rd floor near the top and it's absolutely beautiful view of the ferris wheel is amazing also you can look down and see the flamingo preserve in the center or you and that is absolutely beautiful it's tastefully appointed the restaurants or great and the pool area is absolutely fantastic I have a lot of fun here and stay here as often as I can plus it's very affordable definitely well worth every penny
Nothing beats the classic and one of the first original hotels in town and yet competes with such elegance and extravagant service all around. had a blast and will diffidently come back.thanks
I didn't actually stay here but we walked through the outside flamingo area and it was gorgeous to say the least! Prefect for picture taking and playing with my new camera. They have gigantic coy fish in the pond as well. Once you're outside of you walk through the path it takes you to a sirt of smaller las vagas strip. There is also a mall sort of area that was fanatic. I kind of wish we would have stayed here instead. But if you're in the area you definitely need to check it out.
The room was VERY clean. The staff was welcoming, polite, and efficient. Every staff member i saw, was vigilant, active and thorough. In their efforts to keep all their guests safe and high traffic areas clean.
I stay 2 days in this hotel. I come from Hong Kong. They give me a room with noisy air-conditioner and bathroom without hot water. They never treat and investigate my complaint. As I am tired in the first stay, I accept it. On the second day, I fight for changing another room. I tell the front desk staff, I can't bath last night with cold water. She give me no response. When I ask for changing to another room on the second day, the front desk staff reply me "No room, all full" I said "if my room is no problem, please give it to other customer as you say". After my strong complaint to the manager. They give me another room which is reasonable. I never go to this hotel again. I wonder they discriminate me or not, I know that it might be happen in US. The impression of US is overall good to me.
Not the best value for money. Images on website and listing of room features don't correspond with real life. Website and confirmation lists Denon Sound System for the Go rooms with Strip view. There's no sound system in the room, just cables that show something was there a while ago.
WiFi is free for 2 devices but the quality is terrible. Keeps disconnecting.
Quality of TV is below average. Pixelly image on various channels. Have seen better at regular motels.
Shower has low water pressure, more like dripping than a proper shower.
Rooms have thin walls. You'll hear your neighbors regularly.
Flamingo doesn't offer value for money, to expensive. It's nothing more than a motel room. Better pick any other hotel in the Strip.
Pool party! Read the website for the rules. They are pretty clear what you can and can't bring in. Yes, they search your bag. Yes they search your pockets. Why? So we can all hopefully have a fun, SAFE good time. With that being said... This is more of a low key pool party...not as crowded as MGM, Mandalay Bay, etc. We had a day bed, bottle service.... Really, a lot of fun. Know before you go...it's pricey....I guess? But, I also don't think you should go to a Vegas pool party if you're gonna grumble about a 20$ cocktail. Yes, it's rediculous. But you're not paying for the drink, you're paying for the experience, which is what you came for, so have 2 $20 cocktails, the time of your life, and worry about it later.
The entire hotel has been remodeled since we were last here I believe over 2 years ago. The rooms are spacious, the rain shower is delightful and the scent on the toiletries is phenomenal!
Decent priced clean rooms. However our room didn't have a very good view. But staff has been friendly and the room was nice and clean....that's what really matters.
The location is so so but it's a historic hotel. You should deff include this 4-way intersection on your stop and hit the 4 major casino-hotels here. The flamingo display is pretty neat, but small. However it's worth the visit. The interior is where they kinda loose it mostly due to a lack of modernity. It all seems kinda aged and generic. However I would never pass up visiting this spot especially for a "first time" to vegas trip.
TL;DR: Decent value in a great location mid-Strip, not great food selections on site but plenty on Linq Promenade or within very short walk. Mostly clean, serviceable room with a mini fridge you can actually use. Remarkably little noise on what appeared to be a full floor. Housekeeping could have done a bit better job, but the fundamentals (bed, shower) were clean. Baggage claim took a LONG time to retrieve bags and the line for Concierge help was usually pretty long. Most dealers were personable and fun, but had a couple that really need some coaching (including one young man that said some extremely questionable things-I couldn't get off the table fast enough after that). However, all that said, pretty good value for money on the room.
I have not stayed at this hotel but have visited several times to enjoy the resort, and have always had a great time there. The gardens are beautiful and would be a great wedding venue. I love looking at the beautiful birds, some of which are rescued wild birds. There is a good gift shop with some quality affordable items and not just the usual cheap Vegas souvenirs.
Lauren provided 5 star customer service! She was the only staff member willing to go above and beyond to help us with our reservation! Thank you from the Texas girls!!!!
Always a lovely Hotel and Shops and Slots at The Flamingo and a large Swimming Pool in the back and Live Flamingos strolling around!!
My friend and I went to see the Donny and Marie Show there also and it was Excellent!! We had front row seats and Donny came around to our side of the stage and touched my hand and my friend's hand....So Fun!!
Clean well played out rooms - accept for the soap dispensers in the shower. Pretty minor overall complaint though. Good play floor. Classic spot on the strip.
What a friendly place! We didn't stay there but next time we are in Las Vegas I think we will.. We were in town for a show at another hotel and by chance had picked up tickets to see Donny and Marie. To my Surprise they were excellent. We had got there a little early and walked around. We came across this pond area with fish and some Exotic birds, early in the day they have Flamingos hanging about. Got go back just to check that out.
Checked into the Flamingo for a brief 2 night get away with my wife and was pleasantly surprised. Our room were clean staff courteous, grounds lush! Only downside would be the the restaurant and food offerings inside the actual hotel.
Honestly, I'd have to rate the flamingo as just "OK". nothing about the stay stuck out to me as better than expected.
Lines for check-in were short but took about 30 minutes. The whole hotel (even the non smoking floors) smelled like cigarettes, and even after a couple days was still a bit of a pain to navigate.
The gym is small, and missing a lot of basic equipment, and closes at 6pm (so good luck if you want to run off the buffet!). The pool was nice, but very much made to make you spend hundreds of dollars. Cocktails were $17, a day bed was $160 ($60 rental + mandatory $100 food and beverage costs). It was only by blind luck did we get chairs to sit down, and the pool was WAY too cold to go in.
As much as the location is good, I don't think I'd stay here again. There was nothing about the Flamingo that was really a "kicker" to make it worth staying at. Especially when you have much more extravagant locations right next door.
We will definitely stay here at our next visit. We first checked out the shops and then the garden where they keep actual flamingos! It was pretty neat to see "inside" a hotel. We next ventured to the casino where we got our players cards and wow...Andrea is awesome! She was very informative, helpful, and friendly. We cannot wait to visit Flamino again.
Our first night the water in the shower the sink and the toilet went out and I was told there was no other place they can move me so I had to spend the night with no water. After complaining at 6 a.m. in the morning I was finally moved to another room with absolutely no view of anything. This hotel is old way too crowded and not worth the money
Middle of the road for me. The service was so so, but the room was fantastic. Top notch remodel. The bathroom shower was massive, the water stayed hot and I liked the refillable soap containers on the wall, nice touch. The TV system works well, and the AC wasn t that loud and kept the room perfect. Everything else, meh.. The pool was always super busy and very messy. There is nowhere to really hang out downstairs, I don t always want to be on the casino floor. Not a good selection of restaurants, and the buffet is only breakfast and lunch. We found ourselves jumping in the car and finding somewhere else to eat. Donny & Marie were the best, they put on a great show, it was the highlight of our stay.
Our room wasn't ready until 6pm, our view of the high roller that we paid extra for was actually a reflection of the high roller, and there was no apology or any solutions to fix our stay here. We cancelled and went to the Venetian, which was way more worth it. Flamingo will also charge you a $50 fee even if it's not your fault the room wasn't ready in time and you wanted to cancel. Overall, only go there if your short on cash AND everywhere else is booked.
Decent place, when compared to the other hotels on the strip it feels a bit old and outdated. But its located in the prime spot and is in the walking distance of every other business on the strip. Rooms are fine and the rates are reasonable, you have plenty of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner places around the hotel. Dont buy water, alcohol in the hotel its pretty expensive . 7 Eleven close to the hotel where you can get water, beer and stuff.
The hotel room was very nice looking with wall to wall windows of the strip. The cleanliness however wasn't the greatest. There was a price sticker stuck on the wall a choice word written on it. The restroom had a big handsoap deposit on the floor that was missed and the shower had hair stuck on the wall. We were on a non-smoking floor that stunk of Marijuana.
Newly renovated rooms, nice staff and great casino. It is old but the rooms are nice. The casino is the best. Not the nicest place but you get a good room for the price. People are nice there and best place to gamble. Great location.
We were here for a wedding and it was less than impressive. The lighting was horribly placed directly behind the couple facing the guests so we were all blinded and couldn't really see the ceremony. There wasn't enough seating for all the guests and when the groom asked for more chairs to be brought out the staff said the guy that puts the chair out already left. This is a wedding I would expect more from a famous Las Vegas hotel.
Pauly D DJs amazing parties it s entertaining from beginning to end I celebrated my birthday there but FYI DONT BRING ANYTHING LIQUID NOTHING IT WILL BE confiscated they search bags and body
As a baccarat player my friends and I love coming here to play. They have the best tables and a small table min. We don t alway bet small but it s nice because you can if you want here. Everyone is nice here I ve never had issues. Look forward to playing here again.
What a joke. This is my fifth time time to Vegas and I have been on a off the strip. I booked a king room for my wife and myself. We checked in and received a 2 Queen. I called down to asked what had happened and they basically said sorry about your luck. We had booked a king and did early check in for a king. I had a great time at Harrah s but after this I will never spend another dime at a Caesars property. Harrah s was why I came back this place is why I won t.
This was where I stayed it had also a beautiful look at night, generous litted, the casino was also big and elegant, was on the ninth floor of about 28 floors hotel, I had a queen's double room to my self and the few days I had a good sleep. If you arrive early before 3pm you could check in on time and pay a fee or you could have your luggage kept at the luggage area with out any payment. You are also charged additional fee if you connect more than two devices to their Wi-Fi
The stay was based on a price point we were looking to achieve. We got what we paid for. I will never stay there again due to the constant barrage by Wyndham employees in the lobby to buy into their timeshare.
Resort fees are a big downer for me. I also don't appreciate timeshare sales people in the lobby (it makes you think they are hotel employees). Other than that the central location on the strip is a big reason for my stay. Walking distance to many other casinos and attractions. Room was adequate and clean. Monorail stop in the back.
Traveling during the Covid-19 Pandemic can be a tricky thing to do, but while staying at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino for a week, I found the service a staff to be very cheerful and helpful and always sanitizing in the common areas for their guests. The rooms were clean, spacious and of very high quality. I stayed on the 25th floor and had the most beautiful view of the strip, at night and could see for miles in the daytime. The hotel is very well kept with dining, a pool, courtyard and a huge area with live Flamingos, turtles, fish and all the native plants and shrubbery surrounding a pool and party area. The Flaming Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has a spa, shopping and exercise facility on site, so there's no reason to leave the property if you really don't have to. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be frequenting this establishment again. Superb hospitality! and the property has something for everyone visiting Las Vegas, Nevada.
The air worked part of the time. Sometimes you had cold water sometimes you didn't. The air conditioner will keep you up all night because it sucks the door and makes a loud noise. We won't stay here again. The cleaning staff was amazing
Wew!!! They clearly have not done a good job disinfecting the rooms as we are still in COVID-19. The shower curtain didn t look clean. I brought my own wash clothes but used their bath towels to dry off. I had two different types of hair on my body. GROSS. Our second room didn t have bath towels. We are in town to check on my elderly father. Thank God it s only 1 night. Our check in was also a hot mess. No Thank you......
So it was my first time in Vegas and the FLAMINGO hotel and casino did not disappoint. The hotel is gorgeous and I won $350 in the casino. Not to mention that there is a Carlos and Charlie's in the hotel with the best margaritas I've ever had. Will definitely be back.
For an older Hotel/ casino this one is well kept. They keep the smokiness down and is smells pleasant and fresh. We attended a show and had an amazing time. There is so much around and so many options, something for everyone. Go check out the Flamingis and fish outside. They are fun to watch.
Hotel on the center of the Las Vegas Strip. Building is older but some updates have been done. Staff was friendly and thorough. Hotel has an adequate gym facility which is a plus. Also easy access to the prominade, for food and some entertainment.
The bad: Waited 1 hour in line to check in @ around 6pm. King standard room was large but outdated. Included no coffee maker. Also roomed us on a dog friendly floor without notice. All in all I would stay here again if in a bind.
A good hotel. The bathroom in the room needed some remodeling.... Saturday morning there was no hot water..... But everything else was wonderful. I did not meet a single staff member that was not eager and willing to answer a question and help in any way possible. I would visit again.
Just adverage. Needs updating but room is clean and bed is comfortable. I got an upgrade and the room was nothing special so hate to see a room if I wasn't upgraded my bathroom was extremely basic and room just looked like a normal basic room
Room was comfy and clean. 3 stars because you don't really get to choose your room. We reserved a King room, High Roller view with a sofa. None were available (so why let us reserve it?) so we had to choose between King bed with non high roller view and no sofa, or 2 Qn beds High Roller view but still no sofa.
You can do early check in at a kiosk for $30 which is great if your flight gets in early. Also, you can opt out of housekeeping and get a $10 credit for food and beverage, just make sure it's on your account before you check out, we had to call customer service to get ours.
My state wouldn t allow travel to Nevada due to the high number of covid cases. They refused to refund me. They will not be earning our business in the future so hopefully it was worth it to them.
