We visited Margaretaville at this Hotel. This has been a favourite restaurant of ours for years and we always try to visit. This visit was disappointing however. There was none of the usual entertainment, the restaurant felt grubby and the service was poor compared to other visits. However the cocktails were good which made up for some of the other aspects being mediocre and over priced.

Great place, I would definitely stay again however people were stuck on an elevator and we were never able to get in the pool. We were told to text a number, did it two days and never received a call.
quickest way too long to get checked in. We reserved a non-smoking room they put us and smoking. That was horrible. Overall I would never stay there again
Dirty and stained rooms. The place is never dusted, walls aren't cleaned (there's toothpaste stains). Hard to find a parking spot, we spent almost 1hr going around and around the claustrophobic parking area trying to find one. None of the eateries are open due to COVID-19. We got a free room and that's the only reason we stayed there. Avoid this place at all costs!
The Flamingo has a great pool with DJ's and quite the party scene. The grounds are amazing and tranquil. The adjoining shops and restaurants are great. Grab a to go beverage - walk around and enjoy the scenery. If you want somewhere quieter - try the Hilton Vacation Club at the Flamingo next door!
The Flamingo is one of the oldest hotels on the strip, yet the room on the 26th floor had a nice modern feel. The gardens were lovely. Access to the Linq promenade allowed us to take in a free magic show, dinner, a festive holiday show and a bit of shopping before our concert at Brooklyn Bowl. In all our vacations over the years, the shower at the Flamingo was the best we've had, with plenty of room, a decent height on the shower head, good water pressure, and excellent temperature. Unfortunately, the fan in the bathroom did not work. The room was a smoking room and was the smokiest smelling smoker's room I've ever stayed in. I'm not sure if other hotels have better venting or if they use something special to help with deodorizing smoking rooms or if it may have to do with the age of the building or what but it made me remember why I quit smoking. Would not take a smoking room here again. Would take a non-smoking room though.
The room was not very clean. There was garbage from previous guests under our nightstand. And it appeared it was from a number of times. As if this is habitually missed. Wrappers, pop cans, caps from medicine and Tums bottles, etc. The shelves inside the dresser area under the TV were sticky as if they had not been wiped down. We did notify the Concierge and they offered to send a Housekeeping Manager but we had already cleaned the messes and that would not have changed the experience or impression. They didn't attempt to reconcile in any other manner either which I thought was poor. It was a birthday celebration for my daughter's 25th and this was a downer for a starter. I had always wanted to stay at the Flamingo and thought it was classier and wouldn't miss a beat. Very disappointed and will never stay there again.
I loved the hotel. The casino floor service could be better. Im not big ballin' shot callin', but please give my decent service when ordinary people are on the casino floor
It is at the Centre of the strip with all round walkable access. It has a cute vibe with pink and Vegas-y flamingo feel. But apart from that, the rooms are really old and not comfortable like the others in the area.
Hotel is in heart of Las Vegas and easy to excess by walk almost to any popular place in Vegas. They have flamingo for real in garden and other birds. I had anniversary with my girlfriend and ordered room on top floor with view on strip boulevard. I did it few month before arrive. But they told me that everything is reserved and gave me room only on 8 floor. Room cleanliness is not perfect and everything is old. I felt myself like in road motel.
Loved it!! Kiosk check-in and out, touchless. It is on the Strip so everything is in within easy walking distance: food, drinks, gambling, and zip lines. The room was clean and tidy. Housekeeping did not enter unless specifically ask to.
Great location. Fantastic park-like grounds. Lots of activities and stores. Just did a walk-through this time, but would like to make this my destination next time in Vegas.
We stayed in the newly renovated King Fab room and it was on the 27th floor. The room was huge and we even had a TV screen in the mirror in the bathroom. Only draw back was the slots were not paying at all.
We got a really nice room view, a very spacious and nice space! Service was excellent with the modern day tech! They have someone text you and be there for whatever questions you have...that pretty freaking awesome!
This place is swank. They have real flamingos in a jungle waterfall setting and the rooms are nice. Great spot on the strip too. Will definitely go back.
Had a good experience except for i had to call gueat service and security over thee times just to resolve a fighting incident in the room next to me... Took forever for them to check on the situation were I didnt get any sleep.
freaking love this place and the staff. Also received a free upgrade when we got there. Had a wonderful time with no issue. speedy check-in (we used the kiosk )
Exceptional staff, clean room, friendly service. There are some updates that are being done. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. And.... It's location is EVERYTHING! Perfectly placed in the middle of the strip! The view from our room was amazing!
Make sure you go check out this little hidden gem at the flamingo. Such a nice little place to go check out when you just want to get away from the crowds.
Stayed at the Flamingo Valentines Week!! Loved the hotel and service! It was a lil chilly in vegas but we are definetly coming back. Had a wonderful time
It is just as described.. a 3 star hotel. For the price it's great stay. I did Love how close it was to so many restaurants. Kept us out of the buffet lines . I felt the lobby and most of the casino had a very off-putting scent. If it weren't for that i would give it another star, but it was destracting for certain. The staff we talked to were polite and knowledgeable. Would recommend it for anyone on a budget.
We lucked out with a recently renovated room with good views. The hotel is in the center of everything. We have been able to access most attractions and restaurants on the strip. The hotel itself doesn t have a wide variety of restaurants. However, the chair massages are cheap and affordable.
Loved our stay. Close to main attractions. Bedroom was clean and modern. The staff were helpful and answered all questions. The hotel and casina were nice. Breakfast credit was welcomed. We would love to stay again and will recommend it to our friends and family.
Flamingo is one of the older hotel casinos on the strip. It's age subtly shows around it's decors though it is evident that they have been gradually updating and improving it. Among the improvements (compared to out last visit a couple of years ago) is a new fragrance upon entrance to the building. This is way more welcoming than the previous experience. The garden with live animals deep in the bowl of the casino is a great place to spend some refreshing time away from the non stop entertainment along the strip. Gordon Ramsey's Fish and Chip to the side of the building is fast food experience that does not disappoint at all.
I was disappointed with the food here. I was excited to come for the flamingos, but I couldn't even finish one plate, the lox was fishy instead of smokey the hash browns weren't cooked through the fruit wasn't ripe even the bacon wasn't good. I'm giving 2 stars to our waitress who was amazing, no stars for the food.
Lovely hotel with lovely entry through the Flamingo garden (real Flamingos) or alternatively through the prosaic lobby. Positives and negatives like all hotels.
Pros. Fantastic views (see pictures) looking out to Caesar palace, Colloseum, and the Spring/Charleston mountain range.
Bed size and comfort was very good (habitat room) Room arrangement very good. Facilities in room iron, fridge, telephone, TV, bathroom good.
Accessibility to Casino, Linq, High Roller attraction. A great spot on the Vegas strip.
Helpful staff both through telephone and person. Cleaners were good, thank you.
We didn't use but the Pool facilities look lovely
Cons
AC and temp control noisy. Can be disturbing at night.
No basic tea coffee facilities or kettle in room.
Faulty fridge unable to rectify settings, response from room service was to wheel in a new fridge but this was not working properly.
Coupons and offers seem to be mainly for US and Canadian residents only (surely that could be extended to foreigners)
Breakfast option is pricey. You can go to the Paradise Buffet but it is like 25USD after tax per person. For Vegetarian people it is even more of a rip off. 25USD for cereal and toast I mean come on! You may as well buy individually from Starbucks or the Nook cafe at the Linq. 25USD will easily feed two by this method.
Las Vegas average temp at this time is 27-32C. No complimentary water bottle in rooms.
On hotel entry I would recommend a verbal introduction of the hotel services and add ons. For example half way through I came to know that the casino can teach you how to play some games. By then we had made plans. But that would have been great to know at the beginning.
Sports fans should watch games at the Linq not Flamingo. Better screens.
Most Cash machines in the casinos charge 9.99USD per transaction. That is crazy! Massive bummer for average shmuck....= money stays in my pocket not yours hint hint
All credit card machines require chip and pin upgrades. Signatures are prehistoric!
Foreigners should not be pestered if they bring alternative officially recognised ID like a UK driving license. Paying for a 4USD drink should not take 20 mins. Ref the Linq Sports bar.
Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed help changing rooms. Our first room we were booked in was not very clean. We were able to quickly and easily change our room without any hassle or additional fees. Our second room was in better condition. Housekeeping staff were nice and we were able to get the things we needed from them. Overall it was a decent stay and inexpensive since our room was comped.
Tickets to Donny and Marie Show. Most enjoyable show. Flamingo Hotel now charges Parking fees. Unless you are staying at that hotel. Cost $9 dollars. I will stay at off strip casinos and all my business will go to casinos. That do not charge for parking. I feel casinos now squeeze every dollar from me be it parking, food resort fees. Good bye Las Vegas no value left as far as I am concerned.
Due to COVID-19, masks are needed everywhere. Except when you eat, drink, and go to the pool. Add yourself to the virtual wait-list to get in the pool, if you can't wait, go over to the linq pool nearby. No wait there. It's close to everything. No rental car needed. Clean and spacious hotel.
We stayed in a Deluxe Flamingo room and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and you could tell it was recently remodeled. Only downfall was we were on side between the LINQ and the music was loud until 4AM. The walls in the room were thin and you could hear toilets flush in the rooms around you
It has an amazing live animal area with flamingos and ducks! It's a classic casino, but can also show its age in places. Nice place to walk through. Wouldn't put it on my list of places to stay at.
Besides the confusion on the pool we had a great time. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and courteous. The live animals were so adorable. They offered various restaurants and pretty close to the linq promenade with even more options
Breakfast is amazing, large selection and the omelet chef, absolutely wonderful. On the top of my list to revisit on my next trip. Love, love, love....worth the wait.
First time in vegas beautiful hotel!! But staff and security tried kicking me out the hotel even after I followed their instructions plus i contacted the manager and he was the one that tried trespassing me even though I was a guest, once that explained it he changed his attitude, still did not like the treatment, you need better staff!!
This seems to be an older casino and hotel but is quite a bumping one. Our goal was to walk along the strip and try to see everything there is to see. We ended up spending more time than we thought checking out the flamingo walk and gardens. The pool area looked like a lot of fun, too.
Great amazing pool, but overpriced hotel and too many people harassing you to visit other hotels and whatnot sales before you even unload your luggage. $ 700+ for the weekend. The competitors offer newer rooms and bigger places without the sales gimmick. The food was less than average as well. Actully poor is a better word to describe the food quarter. 23 dollar cheese burger that will not leave you saying wow. I keep going back to the pool however. It was a top notch pool experience. Exciting, cool music playing, big party and attractive staff serving drinks.
Despite the long line at check in, the experience was made more tolerable by staff that genuinely cares about their guests and making the wait seem less. The room was nicely decorated and looked newly remodeled. One Miss is that this hotel does not offer room service. The restaurants at the lobby level provide a wide range of choices, but sometimes a traveler just wants a little room service! The valet parking requires at least 20 minutes to retrieve your car, but once again the friendly and attentive Staff made the experience more enjoyable. This is a nice hotel and you really can t go wrong choosing this one.
I stopped in with a group of friends. We had a nice time checking out the casino. Lots of fun slot machines and the dealers at the tables were very friendly. Very nice ambiance, would highly recommend stopping by if you're taking a stroll through the strip!
Flamingo is lots of fun with plenty of history. Seen lots of change and casino's evolving into great attractions but like to feel a bit nostalgic here whenever I visit the strip!
We enjoyed our stay here, though the hotel room we were in was a little dated . The bed was comfortable, the pool was nice, we rented a cabana, which the website failed to mention had a $150 drink minimum on top of the cost of the cabana . The light fixture above the bed was meant for a workshop that needed a lot of light or a movie requiring certain lighting aspects. Overall not a bad experience, but not quite what we were hoping for
Nice rooms but not well maintained. Out of 5 lights in the entry and bedroom only 2 we're functioning. The tub had a constant drip. You have to pay $12/day for parking if you have a car. Pool is virtually unusable unless you reserve a chaise or Cabana though it is beautiful if you can find a place to park your items. Lastly if you are a gambler neither the tables or video poker were kind.
Sooo, I never leave bad reviews because I know places can have a bad night, this place just gave up. The room smells like someone was smoking 9 cigarettes at one time in the closet. We called and they said that the floor below us was a smoking floor. I figured they would have better filters. They told us that when we stepped out they would "Fabrez" the room. Apparently with cigar flavored spray. The room looks like somebody rubbed a cold ham on everything. The lights were unplugged and a very old power strip was between our bed. Every plug barely held a plug. Everytime we moved the light flicked trying to grasp a flicker of electricity..... the bathroom? Well, the bathroom had two light fixtures but one bulb.. the door was chipped like it was the original door that hid Sinatra from His friends while pooping. Screw holes and metal holders along the wall was a awesome game of what was there before this place became the before part of gordan Ramsey's hotel hell. I guess the flamingo had a bad night.
