I love this hotel. I had excellent stay here. The staff was kind and passionate and service was great! The hotel was very clean inside and the rooms were elegant and clean. The restaurant food was excellent. I will definitely stay here again when i visited Chicago.

This is may be the best hotel in Chicago for the price. Large rooms, friendly staff, and a terrific location on the southwest corner of Millineum Park.
Great customer service at a beautiful historic hotel with rooms that overlook Grant Park. This was exactly what we were looking for on our trip to the city and it is exactly what we get every time we stay here.
Beautiful hotel BUT they re parking is sooooo expensive. I thought that since I was staying at the hotel it would be free parking for me. But when I found out that they charge $62 (I wish I could capitalize numbers) a night to park I quickly went to my car to move it. Unfortunately, they charged me $23 for parking in their garage for LESS than an hour. In summary nice hotel but don t park there.
Worst experience ever. Would go lower than one star if possible. Besides a lengthy check in process The Hilton booked a wedding party that played live music from 10am till after 1:20am. Add to the fact we were splurging on a weekend in the city. Called the front desk multiple times and each time the end time of the wedding party pushed out. Finally they stopped picking our calls up after one of the receptionist offered to bring my Wife earplugs. Would never recommend this hotel
Oh, how I really want to give this place more stars. Here is the problem. The response (or lack there of) to undercooked sausage on my kids pizza has me very disappointed. This hotel is also very old (which can be quite charming) and needs some updates when it comes to its HVAC system. We inhaling very dirty air. If you have allergies, this is not the place for you! If it were not for the hotel operators, who I give 5 stars, this review would be one star.
We didn't stay here, we went to a charitable dinner, the Casa Central awards ceremony. The dinner served was poor. I am a vegetarian so I was happy to learn they had vegetarian options for dinner, but what a disappointment. They served salad that was ok, but as main course I got a couple of little balls of a very dry rice (like from an ice cream spoon) a couple of small boiled potatoes, and two slices of boiled zucchini over a tiny bed of over cooked chard. I am giving two stars because the only thing that saved me from starving were the very good tiny quesadillas they offered while waiting at the bar.
5 star prices, 2 star quality. I travel for work regularly, and this is my third hotel on a two week trip. It's the most expensive on every way, but offers the lowest quality and service.
Pretty hotel, pricey, slow front desk service and they charge extra ($15/day) for the gym. Fb description says it s free but this is not the case. Very frustrating experience.
This was a beautiful Historic Hotel however the housekeeping in it is not up to par. We have stayed there twice and both times we had to request our rooms to be cleaned otherwise they would not have been done. This most recent time we had our family with us of two adults and three children and when they replaced our towels they only gave us two towels. They had upgraded our room when we got there to a two bathroom bathroom Suite; however both of our bathrooms had numerous spiders. There were cobwebs on the outside of the doorway into the bathrooms and in the bathroom windows. Other then the poor housekeeping it was a nice stay.
Love this place. Some reviews complain about things being dated, but -- in general -- that's part of the charm. The rooms are fine -- and the ballrooms are exquisite with the gilding, chandeliers and paintings. Eight presidents and the king and queen of England have stayed here. It's impressive.
Although my bias preceeds me on this one due to nostalgia, the breakfast variety supports seemingly endless combinations. The double queen bed rooms with two bathrooms are quite comfortable as well.
The 1927 historic hotel looks great on the inside and outside. The high speed elevators are original and very cool. On the 21st floor, I had a good view of the Metra and CTA trains out my window. The room was good and clean. The service was excellent-so excellent that I left a tip for the housekeeping lady. Overall, the hotel has many attractions that you can simply walk to like Navy Pier, Union Station, Sears Tower, Oak Beach, and Buckingham Fountain. Bad reviews should probably be disregarded.
The Hilton Chicago hotel is one of the well-maintained and clean hotels in the city of Chicago. I loved the place and the kind people in helping me to choose my room. I recommend this hotel when you come to visit the city of Chicago.
Very nice hotel, there were two bathrooms in my double bed room. Very large hotel which was very busy. I'm almost 7 feet tall and the check in employee noticed and asked if I wanted a king bed, I said sure, then she tried charging me another $90,after customer service like that there's no chance I'd ever stay there again!
Very nice hotel. Very secure. I had to use the executive elevators to reach my floor, and needed a key card just to use it, so I was very impressed. However, the food options on site are not great. They would be better off having a dunkin' donuts or McDonald's than what they have.
Nice hotel. It is beautiful. They have a great breakfast buffet - not cheap, of course, but worth it. Lots of fresh fruit. Plus the usual and more unusual choices.
I felt it was understaffed for the size of hotel. The room was clean, but felt old (worn carpet, peaking paint). For over $200 a night, I expected better. I was there for a conference that is held every year in different locations , and the set up provided here was one of the worst that I have seen. We were put in the basement, and there was no where near enough chairs for the number of people attending. While it was all handicap accessible, there were sets of 5-10 stairs between multiple floors where a chair lift (which felt old and rickety) had to be used.
I came here for a conference with friends. The hotel was absolutely amazing! The location was within walking distance to pretty much everything. The rooms were pretty big some have 2 Beds and 2 Bathrooms which was perfect for this type of trip. Check-in was fast and easy.
The Hilton Chicago was very nice , the people their was very friendly and professional. My favorite was the bar because the bartender knew everything I wanted , great time I will definitely go back .
Staff was super helpful, room was clean and well maintained, I was visiting on business but this is a great location for tourists as well given its proximity to the museum campus. Only downside is that the overnight parking is RIDICULOUSLY expensive, though there is a very reasonable priced parking garage right around the corner.
We stayed in the Adler Suite and had no problem with the room amenities. The drinks at the Barre we reasonably priced what the food was kind of expensive in my opinion overall it was a worthwhile stay
Beautiful place to stay BUT, we were offered an upgrade for $45 per night for a lakeview room so we were very excited. Our room was not that great, spider webs all over the two windows, dirty clothing items left from prior guests, burned out lights in bathroom. We did report our concerns to the front desk but we were not offered a new room for our 2 night stay. Disappointed that customer service is less than par at one of our favorite hotels. Dirty clothing item was left in our room, though light bulb was replaced, window was filthy. Our upgrade was definitely not worth the money... will be returning to the Swiss Hotel next time we re in town
very nice lobby, but it falls apart from there. in-room TV looked like a bad reddit stream, you couldn't order room service at 11:15 pm, no service answered a phone call, and the hvac in the room was anemic. the price was not commensurate with the experience.
Best place to stay..but rooms may not be that great. Awesome lobby and couple of restaurants in the hotel. You won't find any good restaurants with in a half mile from hotel. Remember to ask front desk to get you a lakeview room. Otherwise you end up starring a wall outside your room. They will also charge you to keep the luggage. Best thing is just step out of the hotel and step into the park.
Great location to this historic conference hotel, located right on Michigan Ave. Rooms are comfortable, although some in need of repair. Work areas are barely functional and need USB charging outlets. Amenities in the hotel are plentiful though.
