I just checked in from a cross country flight, tired and Vickie at the front desk was AMAZING!! This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and the hospitality has been really good. I have had a room that overlooked the golf course both times and great view.

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel. There was no specific thing that happened that was really bad or a deal breaker all on its own but the culmination of many smaller things made the experience very negative. For being a conference center it had crappy slow WiFi and a tiny business center with slow internet. The hot tub was broken and totally out of use for the length of the stay.
The in hotel restaurant was toxic and the manager was extremely rude. After sending back an ice bowl of tortilla soup the manager came over, dropped the dish back on the table saying nothing but "cold soup". They also proceeded to charge us for a few dishes we never received.
The reason for my stay was actually a wedding and the wedding planner who was suppose to oversee the set up and take down of the wedding went home early on the day of and the hotel offered no replacement. I was shocked at this but somehow after my previous experiences not totally surprised.
All in all the hotel presents very well but really you may as well be staying at a slightly cleaned up Budget Inn, really expected much more from a Hilton.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating to our needs. We were so impressed with the hotel, we will definitely be back. I will definitely recommend this to everyone here in our place!

Beautiful hotel. Excellent space for special events. It's really convenient because your guests can just stay in the hotel after your event in one of the ballrooms. It was my parents 50th anniversary party. The golf course is gorgeous and the bar is fun.

UPDATE: After Speaking with the GM, they reimbursed me for the cost of the Bose headsets. I have now changed my review to four stars, taking just one star off for the trouble.

The rooms are a bit outdated, but clean and well appointed. My company booked 13 rooms and a conference room for two days. Our service was excellent and I thought the staff was wonderful.

Now the reason for the two stars. My issue arose at checkout. I left my Bose noise-cancelling headset and AirPods in my room safe. I did not realize my mistake until I arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and immediately called the manager on duty at the hotel. The manager informed me my belongings were no longer there, took my number and promised an investigation. Well, CSI Atlanta must be involved because four days later I have had no further correspondence from the hotel.

What a beautiful hotel in historic Marietta it is certainly one of the better hotels that have been to in this area. It's also has a golf course attached to it and it's a beautiful gospels as well I would certainly recommend going to the hotel as it's a great Hotel.

While repairs have been ongoing at our normal facility following a fire, our church has been meeting here. While I haven't been dealing directly with the hotel, they seem to be very responsive to our needs. The hotel itself seems to be well-maintained and generally quite a nice space. While I wish we didn't have the need to use them, they seem to have done well by us.

The staff has been very friendly, the room is nice and the bed very comfortable. Despite a small argument I witnessed at the dining room for breakfast between staff over glasses the stay has been good.

This place is just beautiful! The staff are all really nice, the rooms are clean, great location, and the breakfast in the morning is DELICIOUS. We stayed here overnight while visiting Atlanta and I m so happy we got to stay in this hotel. We highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful location on a sprawling golf course (unaffiliated with the hotel). When you approach the building up the winding drive you feel as if you've stepped back in time . Parking is MORE than adequate. Beautiful white columns tower over the entry way of this colonial style hotel, inside the double doors your presented with beautiful hardwood, chandeliers and in incredibly spacious lobby!!

The guest agents at the counter are extremely personable and friendly. Out the opposite side of the lobby is a covered veranda with rocking chairs that look out over the gold course and nearby Kennesaw Mountain.

The full size beds in the double bed rooms are somewhat small, leading the room to feel a bit small. If you're a Gold HHonors Member you're provided with a free breakfast for your stay. The executive lounge is open 24/7 on the 6th floor and has an INCREDIBLE view. Happy hour starts at 5:30!

The bathrooms are somewhat small as well, and the lighting doesn't compliment the wall color well. It gives a fairly yellow cast.

Location was good to downtown Marietta and convenient to I75 and the city of Atlanta. Room had nice view of beautiful golf course and Kennesaw mountain. Rooms are a little dated as is the hotel. Could use some polishing up. Beds were comfy. For the price we paid, it could have been in better shape. When we arrived a bellhop got our luggage. I had a half case of wine in a box and he did not secure it well. When he pushed car arriving on our floor, the box of wine fell over and smacked the floor. We lost one bottle. He said he would replace it for us. Unpacked in our room..took 15 or 20 min. Came back to the elevator and the mess was still there. If some came off the elevator, they would slip and fall. Found the bellman downstairs and advised...again....and he THEN felt he should clean it up himself. No bottle of wine came to replace what broke. So we went to the bar, explained what happened and a very nice lady talked with the front desk and bottle of wine was given to us. Also, the pool was not very clean. Green and black mold on bottom of pool. Umbrella over table was broken and hanging in different shape. Small wade pool was filthy with a for of was in it. Shower are for rinsing off needed some attention. No towels anywhere for swimmers use. For a hotel with a good reputation name of Hilton, this was disappointing. Needs some work in many areas. We enjoyed ourselves in Marietta and local Atlanta restaurants. Not sure we would stay afain. For what we paid each night and the Hilton name, could have been more quality.

I am staying in this hotel as I type this. I am trying to sleep. Have to be up at 6:00 am. It is now 11:14 pm. Music and bass is blaring from a party or bar downstairs. I have called twice to ask what time it stops. Vicki at the front desk answered both times and was very rude. Stated I don t know when it stops during the first call. During the second call 15 minutes later stated I guess we are going to have to close our bar then. Dropped $200 on this place and cannot even go to sleep due to the deafening bass. If you actually want to sleep avoid this place at all cost!

It has a nice setting and has a classy antebellum look to the outside. It is nice and is perfect for a family stay, however it could use a remodel and better maintenence in certain areas including the conference areas, the hallway carpets and furniture. The TV had to be repaired and the outlets in the lamps beside the beds are worn out so bad they don't work with a standard cell phone charger. Attention to detail would go a long way at this location. I expected more from a Hilton property.

Great pub and golf course attached to the hotel. Very friendly staff and a beautiful patio on the back of the hotel. Unfortunately, the pool is located right beside the dumpsters - very smelly. The rooms need an update desperately, but a great location.

This is An Old Hotel. According to Christine (the Wedding Coordinator), this Hotel is owned by the City of Marietta and the Hilton manages this Hotel (but, does not own this Hotel). The City of Marietta gets a large percentage of the money from everything that is sold at the Hilton. According to Christine and the Male Bartenders (dressed in black with Hilton name tags), the city of Marietta refuses to do basic upkeep like replacing the carpets with nasty smelling matting beneath the carpets. The elevators have carpets that smell like urine once you step inside (and the doors close for you to go upstairs to your suite). The carpeted hallways and carpet in the suites have a strong urine smell and you can feel the slickness on the carpet. The smell is discusting! The Bartenders agreed on the urine smell and blamed it on the guests children and the intoxicated guests in the Hotel. Christine and the Bartenders both said the Hotel has paid Professional Carpet Cleaners to clean the carpets. The Carpet Pro's (according to Christine) have said the urine smell is in the carpet matting and can't be removed by steam cleaning. Instead, the carpet matting needs to be replaced. Christine and the Male Bartenders said the City of Marietta is too cheap to pay for new carpets and new matting to get rid of the old urine smell. Please change the carpets at least every two years. Also, the food in the bar was undercooked and had to be taken back and recooked (we were still charged for the mistakes of the bar). Also, WiFi at the Hotel is NOT FREE for guests. They may want to take advantage of Comcast Business Internet package that gives seperate internet access hotspot for guests (public access) at No Additional Costs (preferably Blast Speed or Better). The toilet seats in the bathrooms in the lobby were also falling off (half on). Continental Breakfast is also an extra charge. All the food and drinks were over priced.

Sincerely,
Jacob

This is an aging hotel that has a few challenges. The elevators seemed a little clunky, and I noticed a few maintenance issues in the hallways. My room on the fourth floor was very good including the super comfortable bed I've grown used to expecting from Hilton. I was a little disappointed that the grounds crew had to start at 7 a.m. trimming the grass right outside my window. There's very little in the immediate neighborhood so be prepared to pay the premium prices to dine at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is the only decent hotel close to the WellStar Kennestone Hospital. I got an excellent rate booking through one of the blind booking websites that sounds like shot fire.

Second work event there. Nice place and decent buffet considering. Drinks are a little expensive and stick 5o the basics since it is hit or miss on whether the bartender really knows how to make an Old Fashioned correctly.

Nice clean hotel on public golf course, but lack of transportation to local places, lack of good restaurants, lack of good gift shop, high pet fee of 80.00 regardless of length of stay, late check in of 4 pm and there breakfast buffet is too expensive. Last yr they took there bus service away to local places free of charge. Would have been helpful to get around. The staff was very polite. I liked the fact it was away from the city. No transportation to the airport! Uber charges 45.00 share ride to this hotel from the airport. It was something new to experience far away from the city. Bus service does not run on Sunday so now I need to take uber to the airport. Nice neighborhood away from everything. Colonial style hotel w colonial style pictures. Beautiful scenery at hotel. Anyway it was something nice for a weekend getaway.

The personnel was very friendly, the hotel looks very clean! The only things I didn't like too much are the signals to move around, you have to ask for help because it's not clear which way to go!

Your hotel is extremely outdated! For the price I expected a workout area and a pool that was open in the 90 degree weather! The rooms were outdated and lacking so many things. It was dusty and smelled of mildew. The halls the room the entry way all of it smelled old. I was very underwhelmed of the quality, I was expecting a Hilton stay but got a totally different experience. I do have to say the people up front were the highlight! Although seriously understaffed (shame on management) they were fast and curtious, they handled disgruntled guest who were mad about the wait very well!

I noticed some reviews that came off negative. Since I stayed for 3 nights I want to be honest here.... the musty smell is slight but you get over it. Come on people this building was built in the 1850s and it's a massive building!!! I do appreciate the colonial vintage style and it is pretty well maintained given it's age. The location is beautiful and a true hidden gem. Giving a few shootouts to those who did very well at their craft.
Cleveland is a waiter that is just a joyful soul and provides superb customer service. Trevor is the manager for the food service department and is a truly remarkable individual, he yields both emotional and intellectual intelligence which makes him a rare and diverse leader.
Chris the bell boy was very personable and fast.
The waitress that worked in the Pub she helped me choose a few food items and they were great selections. Trevor knows who it is because I told him that this lady was very hard working and basically runs all over the place helping those that she notices needs waited on and never forgets a thing. Sorry never caught your name.
Just some coaching oppurtunites... I noticed Friday night ...a lady that was in the back of the restaurant of the Pub....talking on her personal cell phone (had hair extensions) and possibly distracted and didn't notice me Friday night.... It wasn't any of the ones that worked in the Pub area... this person maybe a problem here hint...hint...
The engineer that fixed the toilet issue was super fast and friendly (Sorry, didn't catch your name.) Shaved head with a goatee--I know it wasn't Abby because I ran into him in the elevator.
The cleaning staff respected my space when I asked them to not go in my room and I didn't want any cleaning.
The front desk folks were very responsive, kind and informative.
The rooms were clean and organized to include the bedding/ beds were comfortable.
Overall, my experience at the Hilton in Marietta was pretty awesome and it met my expectations of being a 1850s Hilton hotel. I give all the attentive-hard-working and the unspoken employees a 5 star review. Continue doing what y'all do by treasuring this old beauty and keeping her precious with day by day polishing. Til we meet again Georgia!
