I have a tenant who hasn't paid rent in months they refuse to give a call back I sent in RFTA and eviction notices for months they just put on phone with receptionist and say worker will call back in 48 hours but they never do. The tenant doesn't answer the door and is uncooperative.

When you have a voice HOC would oppress you and will hold programs that is available for you. HOC isn't a concentration camp for the vulnerable community. This is cruel, inhumane and a dictatorship and a violation of human rights and fair housing.
I received a letter, stating I'm at the top of the list; does anyone know how long it takes for them to send my vouchers? I've found a few beautiful places in which I'm viewing this week-I just need my voucher.
went in today I got all my questions answered and actually went instead calling and complaining about voice mails sometimes you have to go get things done and look and talk to someone the gentleman at front desk was friendly and helpful
Im new to this state . Havent been here awhole year and ive been ready to go since ive been here. HOC is horrible except Ms. Estelle ( Gaithersburg Location ) she is the only one i can reach with NO problem and answers ANY questions or concerns ive had. My 1st case worker was horrible. Never answered emails , phone calls or nothing. HOC is very rude, unprofessional and flat out dont seem to care about section 8 tenants in my eyes from my experience. They say theyre willing to work with you if give notice ahead if time well i did and got a violation!! I have no problem following rules but to not understand my circumstances and situations is were the problems and issues come in. Ive never dealt with this back home and i wish i looked up their reviews and didnt come here. Cant wait to leave and not look back.
They never answer the phone this place is very unprofessional and are not in business to help anyone needs better people to help the public and not slow retards. And why exactly is the answering service spoken in Spanish are you only catering to Hispanics? This isn't the end of my rants I will have the whole county see the unprofessional-ism that is taking place!!
The HOC of Montgomery county is HORRIBLE!! First thay sent me an email saying they pulled my application and then called me saying it was a mistake. Then they tried to make io for it by finding me housing, "supposedly," which was a handicap apartment. The place I was supposed to move into is Towne Centre Place @ Olney. They are the most unprofessional persons I've ever worked with regarding an apartment. I had to call them multiple times to set up an appointment to see the space after I was told they would contact me. Second, I called them about two weeks later about the situation and they acted as if they didnt know who I was. So Basically, after I applied for the apartment, they didnt have the courtesy or common decency to call and let me know whether I got it or not. The housing commission obviously does not care about homelessness or its consumers as a whole. The rent is still high as hell from what I looked at anyway. I have a job but Oh if you do not have a job, forget about their housing. PERIOD. All in all, no one reached out to me including the HOC about my housing ever again. Its been almost 2 months.
I have been on the list since 2016 I hear different stories of people that said they was on the list for 3 months I was legit homeless in 2016 but hey it is what it is
OMG - after years of trying to get help from these people: they don't answer the phone; don't return calls; are rude and sarcastic; are disorganized; send me information they later contradict.
And we taxpayers pay them to do this to us.
Hope the new county exec has a look at these featherbedders.
