We just had a terrible dining experience there. I wish I could even rate zero star if I had an option. We were very very very disappointed. My wife's prime rib was rough and green beans were cold, my salmon had a burnt taste and rice was dry. I had 10 times better salmon at Cheddar's for 1/3 of the price. My daughter's kid's menu cheese burger was burnt, she only had a few bites. We had to go to Good Times afterward for her. They are super super over priced for what the bad food they offer.

We will never ever ever ever go back to this place. I've never written a bad review on a restaurant before, but I felt I was obligated to write so that no one had to go through this.

My husband and I made a reservation and let them know that it was our first anniversary we had a pretty good experience food was fairly good drinks were good service was impeccable our waiter was phenomenal and for our anniversary we did get comped a dessert however they like to say MP4 price on their Seafood in the waiter did offer to tell me what that market value price was the waiter to tell me how much it was so I declined and I should have accepted because I was charged $75 for a pound of Alaskan king crab or what was supposed to be Alaskan king crab she usually large crab legs but I was served snow crab legs cuz they we're very small and pay $75 for a pound of snow crab I thought was pretty ridiculous so I will not recommend this establishment 4 special engagements. The only reason I am giving three stars is because of the wait staff.

Service was beyond slow. From the time we sat down till we ordered was 45 minutes. Got the Nawlins Shrimp appetizer and it was like they opened a can of chili and put shrimp in it. Got the filet and it tasted like char. Nothing about this was good. Decor is out dated and looks like they randomly grabbed stuff at Hobby Lobby. Was expecting better for the price. Texas Roadhouse or Salt Grass would've been better. Hideaway Steakhouse please stay hidden.

Such a beautiful steakhouse and it really is hidden in that neighborhood so be sure to use your Google maps and pay attention for that restaurant sign! The only criticism I have is for the waiter to ask others how they like their steak because not everyone can handle medium rare. Other than that, food was delicious and service was great!

Disappointing experience. My wife and I (who are both 29) celebrated our one year anniversary at Hideaway. We watched the manager go by each table and exchange pleasant conversation wishing others "Happy Anniversary." For us, we got a fairly cold interaction with him when he helped bring out our food and then he avoided our table for the rest of the dinner. The couple next to us were brought a complimentary dessert for their anniversary but ours was apparently not special enough to warrant anything more than the dessert menu. We felt completely snubbed either due to our youth or the assumption we didn't have money. Food was good and our waitress Natasha was good but for future celebrations we will go somewhere that makes us feel we belong.

The sevice was 5 star. The steak tasted very good. Got it medium however had to send it back cause it was rare in center. What i didnt like was no side dishes with meal. You have to pay extra for them. $8.00 for a large scoop of vegtables is outragous.

Took my smoking hot wife for our 8 year anniversary dinner, it was amazing. Very upscale, pricey but worth it. Luxurious dinner and wine in a romantic atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Unique cuisine with flavors that were new to me. Truly a hidden gem and a must try.

Came here for the first time this past weekend to celebrate my wife and I 7 year wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Great service right as we walked in and the food was great and cocktails amazing. Will definitely be coming back!!

This place was pretty good. Went with people from the office, and we all got the fillet which was cooked perfectly. One of our co-workers got a ribeye, and asked for it to be cooked medium rare, and it came out quite medium-well. There was hardly any pink left. Any competent steak chef should have been able to feel this with a simple press on the meat. Portions were extremely small for the price, and I left hungry. Never have I been wishing I had a giant basket of bread to fill up on AFTER the meal. I don't think I'd go back because of it. There are other steakhouses you can get a more consistent cut for near half the price.

We loved the Hideaway Steakhouse. Fine dining at its best. The food was perfectly cooked and scrumptious. Great time just and very knowledgeable wait staff, who were very welcoming and fun to chat with. Excellent experience overall, or new hidden gem.

Went for a company dinner. Very disappointed. The soup and cheesecake was great however the steak medallions were too rare. The waiter never even asked how I wanted it. The scallops where undercooked as well. I couldn't finish because it was making me feel ill There was a lot of food left on plates. Feel bad for the bosses. Spent a lot of money and it was terrible. Gave it two stars because I didn't hate it but I won't go back either.

Good eats, great ambience and wonderfully service. Even with the small issue of an overcooked steak they rectified it immediately. The owner has charisma and just and down to earth character that just isn't found many places anymore. The cost of food & drink is in the bracket it should be for everything offered. It's quiet, light music and never feeling bombarded by wait staff either. You don't need to dress up but I didnt know the setting before going. I felt a little silly in flip flops but it was still a great time.

Try the pineapple martini and the dry aged steak if you get a chance. Go rare on the steak it will melt in your mouth.

I will be visiting anytime I'm in the area. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful evening!

We love this place. It's a great neighborhood restaurant where the service is always amazing and the food and drinks are delicious. We often go for Martini night on Thursdays and get appetizers to share for a more cost effective dinner, but if you are looking for a wonderful intimate spot for date night, this is also a great option!

The food was fabulous. Service was a bit slow. Missed out on my birthday dessert because our server didn't come back to order before I had to leave to go back to work. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get your food. It's worth the wait though

The food was good, the issue I have is a Knob Creek Manhattan was $26!
$12, even $15 would have been reasonable but acceptable, but 26?! I dont mind paying a decent price for a drink, but I hate getting screwed! The person next to me ordered a Bullit Manhattan and was charged $18.
I don't know who is in charge of pricing, but he is seriously out of touch with reality.
I won't be back. The waitress didn't bother to let me know it was almost a $30 drink either.

Hideaway Steakhouse is truly a hidden gem. We lived in Westminster for over ten years before we ventured to this amazing locally owned and operated restaurant in the sea of chains throughout our area. We have been there for a few birthdays and anniversaries and each time my husband and I agree it is the best steaks we have ever had. My birthday last night was no exception. The have the best filet mignon I have ever tasted and their sauces are too die for. Even their salad presentation and home made bread is delicious. We have had the wagyu and Nieman Ranch Strip Steaks and my husband was in Heaven. Their nutella filled Phyllo for dessert and the chocolate hazelnut mousse were also above the top. We recommend this restaurant above anywhere else for steak, seafood, special occasions or even happy hour. Support local!

Went there around noon on a rainy Wednesday afternoon and place was fairly busy for mid-week lunch. However atmosphere was inviting and cozy and service was prompt and professional. Will definitely return.

My son and daughter in law brought me and the rest of our family that was visiting here for a nice dinner a few weeks back - we have been traveling from Illinois and I m not one to leave reviews but this place called for one.
We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, so warm and cozy and very upscale from the moment we walked in. The ambience was perfect as far as steakhouses go - wood, leather, fireplace, low lighting, it was extremely comfortable. We sat in a nice big booth by the fire and our waitress - Penny (its been a while but I remember her because it s my grand daughters name too) was great and gave us great suggestions on the extensive menu. Many fine cuts of steak, seafood (which I was apprehensive about trying in Colorado but she assured me that the seafood was delicious) vegetables and a wide selection of potato options - twice baked, mashed, gratine etc. My sons and husband got some whiskey drinks which they said they enjoyed while the rest of us got some wine that our waitress suggested with our meal. We all got different cuts of meat and mine (filet) in particular was outstanding. Tender, cooked perfectly and mouthwatering! We all left very full and happy and Penny was a delight. Will definitely ask for her if we ever make it back to the area again. Just be prepared for a pricey meal compared to the Midwest but well worth it!

First, you must be a meat eater to appreciate this (slightly hidden) restaurant! However, I can attest to the fact that their fish is equally tasty. A little pricey, but you won't be disappointed in anything you order.

This is one of my favorite places in colorado! It is tucked away, the owner still comes over to see how you are doing and it doesnt have the stuffy crowd. Great place for a date or special occasion.

The service was spectacular! My dinner was inedible because I chose a veggie dinner. It had 0 flavor and was raw. Everyone that chose a meat meal said it was delicious. Don't come here unless you are a carnivore. Expect to leave hungry either way.

We brought 21 family members to hide away for Thanksgiving what a great accommodating staff wonderful food we would certainly return again however probably not overwhelm them with 21 at the same time or maybe we would :-)

Been here a few times. Nice upscale place with excellent service. I've always ordered a steak. Tonight I had the bison ribeye and it didn't disappoint. It was our anniversary and received complimentary desserts. Very classy!

I never review anything, but I wanted to share to help people know what to avoid. Ordered the Wagyu steak. It was so tough, I had a hard time cutting through it. I could barely chew it. I thought such a pricey piece of meat shouldn't be so tough. My broccolini and potatoes were cold when they arrived, and the brown butter sauce was extremely over salted. Another table next to us sent their food back, so I assume we weren't the only ones with issues. The other plates we ordered were fine. Shrimp cocktail and dessert were good. Salad had mixed greens, 1 cherry tomato, and 3 slices of cucumber. Atmosphere was nice. Service was great. Just really disappointed with my meal. Especially at the high price.

I am giving this 5 star review for a couple main reasons. Incredible atmosphere!! Very nice greeting by the hostess. Our server, Ciri, was spot on and never left us unattended. She was knowledgeable and super friendly. The owner visited our table many times and took very good care of us. The menu looked incredible. However...I was told that they had hired a new chef just a couple weeks prior. It definitely showed. Not one of our menu items was anything to write home about. Everything was overly salted, the green beans were hard and under cooked. None of the meats were prepared to the right temperature, texture, or consistency. The bacon that was wrapped around the tenderloin was just raw warm chewy fat. The mashed potatoes seemed like they were from a box. Even the raw oysters were still attached to their shells having bits and pieces of shell in most of them. If this truly amazing and fantastic restaurant had an actual chef (and not some cook that will eventually put it on Kitchen Nightmares) it would be a literal gold mine for the customers and owners alike! I hope they get it together soon.

This place is fantastic. Being someone who just started to appreciate steak and the medium cook me and my husband wanted to go on a date night and I have never been to a fancy steakhouse. We randomly picked this place because it was closest More

Don't know what other people are talking about. Had Sunday Prime Rib Special for $34 a person. Not a whole lot of traffic there but that left me with all the attention in the restaurant. Great environment, fireplaces, cozy booths and great food.

I went there for my birthday and the steaks are phenomenal. And had mashed potatoes and the charbroiled carrots and honey bacon brussel sprouts were phenomenal.it is a little pricey it is a special date even though the guy forgot to treat me too my birthday dessert. The Hideaway offers great upscale dining. My wife and I came here for a special occasion - the wait staff and management treated us very well! The steaks are excellent, as is the beverage selection here. One of our steaks came out overdone, but our server and the manager were quick to correct this mistake, and gave us a complimentary dessert to boot. Overall, it was pricey, but worth it to come here!

Very nice atmosphere, elegant and inviting, while comfortable. Our waiter was attentive, engaging, and friendly without being intrusive. We tried the fried alligator bites, and they were delicious with a very tasty sauce and wonderfully herbed breading. The steaks were deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked, though not as melt in your mouth as I'd hoped for the price they are charging. All in all, a great experience, and I look forward to returning.

My husband and I tried the Hideaway with their 5280 special. The food and atmosphere were fantastic! We were impressed with our waiter's professionalism and fun personality... until we got our entree. From that moment, we felt invisible compared to the other tables. Mind you, my husband and I are in our mid-20s, but look younger. More often than not we are treated as penniless teenagers and thought we found a nice place that did not see our apparent age and small checkbook. Talk about a disappointment! Neither of us were offered a second glass of wine (which we would have loved to have) or coffee with dessert (also would have been graciously accepted). Of course if these items were offered, our bill would have been significantly higher, and our waiter would have received a 25% gratuity off that... We still gave just shy of 20%, though.

After dinner we hung out in the Lounge for a while, enjoying the live music and a few rounds. We will still return, and hope that our next (or even this) waiter will see that we are worthy of great service.

REALLY GREAT FOOD & SERVICE.

Went for Valentine's Day dinner and was blown away.
Will be back again in the future.

Amazing steak house. I came for the 1st time from Greenwood Village and let me tell you it was worth the drive and I will come again!!!! The owner came out and welcomed us, the staff was friendly (genuinely happy to help us). The food AMAZING!!!! I've been Del Frisco, Elways, Mortan's, STK, Flemingings and many more ... have to say it's one of my top 3 now. Thank you for an amazing dinner, see you again soon!!!!!

The service was great. Very fast and always stopping by to make sure we were accommodated. The food was also very good. We were here on work from Philadelphia so after seeing "Philly cheesesteak" on the menu, I had to try it. It wasn't a philly but it was very good so I can't complain.
Plus the price was more than reasonable. It had a 5 star restaurant feel with prices that didn't break your wallet.
When we pulled into the parking lot it was nearly empty. But after eating here I can say that it deserved to have every spot filled. Would surely eat here again if I am ever back in Denver.

The service was fantastic but the steak, while had good flavor, was a little thin and reminded me of something I could in a grocery store. The true appeal of a steakhouse is the thick cuts you don't find in grocery stores or chain restaurants. Overall it was good really wanted this to be a five star kinda place.
