Made Reservations for Christmas Eve Dinner 6 weeks ahead of time with a request for a booth since I suffer from a back condition. Arrived on time and was told no booth available and was escorted to a small table for two which had a recessed light above the table which was not working and a LED tea candle on the table also not working. We could not read the menu it was so dark. We approached the head station and requested to see the manager. We explained our situation and was no told no other table was available and that all booths were set up for parties of four. I pointed out to him that the first three booths I saw were occupied by couples. Seems to me that it is all about money and not service. We left without eating and next time will spend the additional few bucks and eat at Shanahan's. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT . The wait staff however is usually very good. We have eaten here before with problems but will not be returning. One *. Hideaway makes a point of stressing the importance of family atmosphere. Prices for Holiday Meals are way too high.

It was very nice to see the owner come to our table multiple times and take a genuine interest in us. The food was fantastic. Very well trained staffed, noticed problems with our food before we did. Definitely will be back multiple times.

The food and service iOS stellar. We had a business meeting and was pleased with the service and atmosphere. The seafood was not as good as the steak. The buffalo steak was very thin. I will visit again, want to make a good review.

We loved The Hideaway! The food was excellent. The drinks and service were spot on, and very enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

So my husband I decided we would try out this restaurant. We order some drinks which were great, we order the calamari and the French onion soup and those were awesome! Well when it came time to get our Chateau Ny Strips they came out and they were medium rare, we had asked for medium, then they were just plain like no flavor to them at all. We were told by the waiter that we didn't need a sauce which was not the case because they were just so plain when we got them. All they could do for us was take one steak off of the bill. My husband and I really disappointed and will not be returning.

Customer service was phenomenal and the dishes were delightful

So they tried to serve us their potato hash casserole (I believe it s called) microwaved. It was dry and so cold in the middle but steaming on the outside and i could tell as soon as I took my first bite. I got their chicken breast and it was OK, but definitely not worth the price they were asking. I honestly can t believe our bill was almost $250 for food that you could get at a Villiage Inn.

Wow, i am really surprised at some of the low star reviews because I thought this place was AMAZING! We just celebrated our wedding anniversary here last night and we are still talking about how wonderful everything was. Our server, Ceri, was nice and thorough and checked on us just enough. The ambiance was great, we sat next to the fire place. I will say we went on a Monday night so it wasn't very busy which I liked. Our drinks were perfect. We ordered the calamari which was delicious and had good flavor, wish it had been a little crispier. I ordered the bacon wrapped beef tenderloin with finger ling potatoes and asparagus and it was top 3 best meals I have ever had. My husband ordered bone in rib eye with baked potato, he did have to send his steak to be cooked a bit longer, it came our rare versus medium but they quickly had the steak back to our table. He also had some ranch dressing on the side which he said was the best ranch dressing he has ever had. We were also given a complimentary desert which is made in house. Minus wanting the calamari to be crispier and the steak being a little too rare everything was perfect. We hardly spoke while eating because it was SO good. Our bill was roughly $140 including 2 drinks, 1 starter and 2 meals, WELL worth it. I can't wait to return and I will recommend this steakhouse to others. Wish I would have known it existed since we have lived in the area many years! Thank you for a great evening. A+

I had a pretty disappointing visit. The staff were friendly and the service was good. I'm just very disappointed in the quality of the food based on the price. I feel like my steak that was "fork tender" shouldn't leave me with a sore jaw after eating half of it. Also everything had meat in it, mash potatoes and brussel sprouts included

Unfortunately, this was a let down. I had oysters, Wellington, and sorbet. The oysters were the size of a quarter and the deconstructed Wellington was bland and undercooked. The wait staff was incredibly nice however and thus saved this from a 1-star review.

This venue has a great atmosphere and an upscale feeling.... However the food is not very good. Quite frankly you can get a better steak from Texas Roadhouse... Let alone similar priced establishments like Sullivan's or the Palms. Their sides are not served family style(they are really small portions) but demand the same price as Del Friscos and Books who's sides are served family style. I would not recommend this place which is unfortunate because it has a great North Metro location and this area needs a restaurant of its promised caliber... it just doesn't even hit the target.

Nicely tucked away this steakhouse was everything I expected and more. Friendly and courteous staff greeted from start to finish and all was amazing. My compliments to the chef the medallions on the Land n Sea were like butter. My girfriend had the lobster tail and it was also delicious. Complete amazing experience we will return !!
