It's a little overcrowded and I don't like that they don't have the "Hershey's chocolate" song at the end of the ride anymore. So sad.
Amazing vacation spot. Variety of activities for different interests. Large park area, multiple rides, 14 coasters, entertainment options for breaks throughout the day, huge water area with slides, splash area, and wave pool. Went in the middle of summer and didnt feel crowded because of how big the area is and how many options there are
Simply the best! It's a staple. You HAVE to go to Chocolate World. I mean, what's the point of going to Hershey and not going to the happiest place on earth
The tour was very informative. Tons of candy and memorabilia to buy. I would suggest getting there early. The crowd gets large and the there are a limited number of chocolate tasting times and they end at 2:00 for some reason.
How can you not have a good time surrounded by chocolate
All day dining plan is a RIP off. Food was absolutely horrible. And it was hard to find the food
Great place for kids to understand the chocolate company
Wow! So much candy
Fun stop if you are in the area
Also they have some cool hard to find candy like giant recees
A thousand different packages of chocolate, rich history and somethong to bring home
My mother took me through the Hershey factory when I was a child. I still remember it as quite magical. What a shock this time. I remember walking through the factory watching actual people do the jobs and at the end I was given a nice size bag of samples of all the products. It felt like Christmas. Fast forward. Now it feels more like Disney world. Everything's automated. You fight the crowds to ride in a car through "chocolate world" watching machines do all the work. Lots of automated talking cows and other things that might appeal to children. At the end a rather disgruntled looking person hands you a Hershey bar the size of a matchbox. If you actually want chocolate you exit the ride into a huge building full of overpriced boxes. There are also eateries and lots of lights and glitz. I guess this is what people are used to now, but I would love to go back to the old days.
Fabulous place to be in this one. Very nice tour of Hersheys chocolate making process which is absolutely free. There's a nice food court there to snack or have your lunch from.
The attractions are good overall but one has to book in advance.also the waiting is big on weekends so better to take an Express Pass that gives you fast access to the activities like the 4D theatre, make your own candy bar, trolley.
Also got can pick chocolates to take home from a range of flavors, overall it's a great place to be in.Kids and adults will both enjoy
So Much Fun! The smell of Chocolate soon as you walk in! So much to see and do.
This has always been a fun place to go ever since I was a child. It is free and so much fun.
amazing experience in chocolate factory every one should visit u will have a good time
Great service and friendly staff, they are making sure it is safe to visit!
So many things to do. We made our own chocolate bars (call because we got a group rate when we went with a couple families), the chocolate tour is a favorite and we shop... A lot.
Very good,neat and clean factory
Very good outlet
1st time here, and won't return. Boring. Also an employee was vacuuming fallen leaves inside with smallest attachment. When I questioned him as to why? Was told that's all Hershey had.
Went for the Christmas events they're having. I love all the lights. Don't miss the sweet lights drive!
Loved, loved loved that place. Great place for family and, of course with the kids!
One of my favorite places in the world to visit. Even the town smells like Choclate.
Had a great time. Alot of walking. Lines were not to bad.
Lots and lots of chocolate to buy. Even have stalls to buy some great dessert stuff like shakes and stuff
A really fun stop. Definitely recommended for the kids. Super crowded but really worth the memories. Prices vary but normal prices for most amusement parks or attractions.
Very fun place to go, with 5 main things to do (Free Trolly ride inside, a 4D movie, Create Your Own Bar, Taste Lab and a ride aroind town) and always a new event for each season. There are mascots that can be found going around, usually in a parade. And there is food there. And of course a bumch of Hershey related stuff you can buy, from candy itself, to legos.
(Photos coming)
Staff is always friendly and helpful. A tour into the chocolate making realm! We absolutely love it here!
Reservations are best ...the trolly was sold out all weekend. I wish there were more options when making your own chocolate bar
Really disappointed. There's no factory tour, only a kiddie ride on how chocolate is made
It's a nice theme park and the chocolate factory is good for children. I'd say kids under 13 would enjoy it a lot.
All in all, a nice place to visit and learn about Hershey chocolate
Great place for a family day trip. For the Chocolate lovers, what better place to be.
Big variety. Friendly staff. Love the strawberry cheesecake :) whole place smells literally like chocolate as soon as you open the doors yummm
Overpriced but it s ok... once in a life time deal.
Extremely crowded, waited in line for everything! 20 minute line for a cup of water. We go to many theme parks, this one was way too overcrowded.
Very impressed with the overall experience. Engaging and polite employees and interesting attractions. Who would have known that the history of chocolate would be so fun. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great time.
Lots of fun. Tour is a cute ride good for the family. Store has a lot to purchase.
We felt completely safe because of social distancing and everyone wearing masks. It was still a lot of fun and not very busy.
Lots of happy memories are ready to be made at Hershey Chocolate World!
The checkout lines moved quickly. The ride through the chocolate factory was great as usual.
I went with my wife this Saturday, and its a nice place to hang-out for couple of hours. Free ride is informative and fun. Create your own candy is interesting, customizing your own chocolate and its wrapper is cool. We didn't do any other paid activity. Food court and shops are good but is pricey. Parking is free! As I said, not bad for couple of hours of fun.
There is only one word that adequately describes a visit to Hershey's Chocolate World.... "Wow". As soon as you enter the building you are hit with a Hershey infused milk chocolate fragrance that makes you salivate like Pavlov's dog. You can either take the free tour that outlines the manufacturing process or pay for one of three adventures. I recommend buying the 3 adventure package and it takes about 2 hours to complete all the adventures. In the last one, you make your own chocolate bar. The gift store is designed to suck money from you but you can find all sorts of flavored Hershey's chocolate. Overall, it is a great place to spend an evening with the family.
Tour was so cheesy they might as well serve some. It was free, so there's that. Merch variety was overwhelming. Tons of junk, but plenty of decent souvenirs too. Great variety and value on chocolate makes it worth going.
Chocolate ride was changed to slightly off-putting animatronics. Good chocolate though.
Accommodating to needs and extremely customer friendly.
This place is sich a money grab. Makes me never want to buy Hersheys ever again.
Some of the rides weren't even fun and other ended quickly not even 2 minutes in the ride
Great place to get together with friends and family. Tour was amazing.
A great place to go. Everyone should go here at least once in your life time.
Changed a lot recently.. not very accurate if you know anything about farming.. But the children like it! Clean place.
Enjoyed it, just to bad the whole covid thing had to cut the experience short.
Concert venue staff were rude. They made me toss my purchase from Chocolate World. They evacuatedd us from a concert, as we were let back in they evacuated a 2nd time. Our seats were on the floor, and there was 1 corridor to floor seats. Since we hadn't made it to our seats yet, we were stuck in the corridor as people were trying to get on floor and exited from the floor. I was stuck against a gate. Finally got out of the space, no staff to direct crowds. Now we have been stuck in lot for an hour with no movement. Terrifying experience.
Fun free ride regarding chocolate making. Very busy gift shop.
A pretty decent place. Gets very packed. Upcharge for almost everything. The free stuff only gets u so far.
Disappointed. It's just a big marketing over monopolized thing now. I wanted to know more about Hershey, but instead it was a tiny tour and the rest is a shopping mall.
Chocolate world is a must see for anyone visiting Hersheypark.
My disappointment was at the create your own candy bar experience. I did not hear or see any disclaimer. I ordered a dark chocolate candy bar(which is the only chocolate that I eat). It was a let down to see the dark chocolate shell being filled with milk chocolate. So I gave it to my grand kids.
I could see this being nice if there were 90% fewer people, but we waited in line for over an hour for the free tour, and the kids didn't have it in them to wait in another 30 minutes to get an ice cream. Maybe this is nice other times of year, but there just so many people that you couldn't actually enjoy it. It was our first visit, maybe if you buy timed tickets ahead of time and are able to walk in, that would also be better? I'm trying to see why anyone would ever go here. The parking lot was also full, so we walked over half a mile and took a trolley to get there. It doesn't seem practical for younger children to really enjoy, and as an adult, not at all worth it, in the end we just got chocolate we could buy at our corner store.
To go here as a child and to then take your children? Priceless.
Very Clean, great staff. The morning breakfast is great.
This company aged more than 120 years. This place is the place where you can find all The Hershey's Company products and sourvenir. Free entrance and parking.
Short visit while passing through town. Free parking for up to 3 hours. A $15 large candy bar that my kids designed and made themselves. Good value fun. Need to find an entire 3-day weekend to stay here longer.
Awesome Park. You will enjoy a lot the experience and the time in this cool place,. kids and adults just love this chocolate land.
Its simple.
Ride the ride, get the candy.
We had fun here...on free chocolate tour..and complementary candy bar..and just seeing all the many different candies they make..I believe they have a bus tour ,but we ran out of time and where unable to go
Awesome factory tour, free samples at end. Of course you can buy more.
Great little ride and a chocolate bar at the end to fulfill that sweet tooth that develops thru the ride ...smelling that sweet chocolate just gets you in the mood! And ALL free!! Many extra to add on (for $$ of course) the chocolate world ride $0!!! My grand daughter loves the "singing cows"
