I couldn't keep my eyes from wondering. I loved this experience
My second trip, and it's even better than the last time. The precautions dont hinder the enjoyment.
It's a sweet place... Alright I know.. I'm a dad, I can say things like that. It's a big place with a lot of different treats. The build your own candy bar is pretty cool. I do think it is a bit overpriced but it's a nice place to have a timeout with the family before leaving Hersheypark
A little gimmicky, but what else could you expect here. Kids will love it.
Had a blast as always. My 4y.o daughter just loves Chocolate Factory and Hershey park
A great place to go. Good treats friendly and helpful staff
Best chocolate in the world and really fun scavenger hunt and cool/really big shop.
Not enough benches in the middle of store. Prices are a little high. Milkshake cost about $8.00. Making your own candy bar is great for the kids. Place was about empty of people.
Great field trip, and we'd love to go back with the whole family. They have a wonderful cafe there too!
Social distancing was enforced at Chocolate world and all cars were cleaned after riders were finished...Although inside Hers Park. NO social distancing NOR were my rides cleaned after each use. Felt like I was in Covid territory!!!!!!
Huge variety of Hershey chocolates, mugs and other product s. Mostly, having some offers or discounts.
Very cool to see how much it has changed since the last time I was there in 99 . Unfortunately I was semi disappointed when the tour ride didn t work. Other than that, cool experience for my kids. Highly recommended to unleash your inner kid.
Great place to spend a little more than half a day. Don't buy the bbq or chicken fingers at the food court, blah. Do take the historical trolley ride (if you don't have little little ones), if you have the little ones do the summer trolley tour if you can. The chocolate tasting was a good experience and making your own chocolate bar was interesting as well.
Cheaper to buy your chocolate bars at the grocery store but cool to see the history
It's probably been about 2 years since my last visit, and I was not too surprised to see yet another significant remodel in the Chocolate World "concourse" (for lack of a better term). It makes it more open, and easier to navigate.
Ultimately, the Chocolate World tour ride is still what its all about. I've been going here since I was a toddler and I've seen a lot of changes, but some of the most important elements that bring joy to the hearts of kids remain in place. I'm talking about the ride through the oven and the fake factory elements that, even now, I stop and wonder if that chocolate colored latex might just be the real stuff :)
I now have 3 young toddlers of my own to take through this place, and will continue to make it an annual tradition like it was for me growing up.
Need your chocolate fix? Come here to see how its made and design your own as well as shop a chocolate mega-mart.
So much fun, but can be crowded. The tour is no longer a factory tour, but the simulated tour is for kids. Admission is free, but I don't know about parking. My grandson loves it.
Good pricing and a wide range of souvenirs for any Hershey product you prefer to affiliate with. It has a nice open layout so even with crowds the location is easily navigable. Cashier centers are efficiently setup and the schedule for experiences allows you to do a lot. Must-see place on any road trip passing through, and lots of great gift options for those you know who love candy
Too dang many rude and disrespectful people. Prices to high!
The last time I was here was in the 70's with my parents. So glad we still have this national treasure....and the chocolate.....can't get enough!
The tour of Hershey is very informative and entertaining all the while messing up your sugar levels with all the free samples, not for the diabetic. The Hersheyworld it self was a big disappointment. Too much like Disneyland not much substance and a lot of hype. Huge gift shop.
Great place if you're interested in manufacturing, candy, or animatronics that fall deep into the uncanny valley.
Free parking for a certain amount of time, great place for little ones to roam about. Great prices for the unique chocolates that they have. Overall a fun place to go !
This was a nice free ride... that you get to from the expensive gift shop. Lol. We all had fun and got a pound of chocolate.
Many, many happy memories made here over the past 20 + years and still going. We go at minimum once per year. I love that they are finally revamping the chocolate world ride. Keep up the good work!
Love the chocolate world! Always changes, keeps getting better, and great place to take kiddos. It's a little pricey, but highly recommend the 4D movie!
We went to the free ride. we started from home with too much excitement. but nothing as you expected. We didn't buy single chocolate in the store, because of expensive. better you can buy chocolates in whole sale stored either Costco OR Sam's club etc. the food in the store in so expensive.
A must see if you're taking a trip to the area. The free ride and chocolate are a great way to start your journey followed by exploring the many, many other offerings available.
Great tour, not of the actual factory, but perfect for kids and people of all ages to learn about their process. The tour is a ride which makes it fun. Also a great place to buy and recieve samples too. The smell in the air is undeniable...CHOCOLATE!!!
Always great time and lots of fun and excitement for the little ones
Always crowded. The indoor free ride is fast and is not for the small children. Not much to see or sensory anything for the little ones to enjoy. It's mostly for people to but stuff. The lines are long.
Great Place. Best chocolates..
I forgot My DSLR in Dining area, I called them & they found it & shipped it to me. Very sweet experience..Keep it up Hershey!!!
Hey, you can't go wrong here, HA HA HA!!! I'm not even a chocolate fan, but I LOVE going here.
It's free! Now the gift shop is not cheap, but you can certainly enjoy a trip through their presentation and learn a little bit about Hershey's chocolate.
Great for a family outing! Had loads of fun in making out own candies
I love it here! So many fun activities and yummy chocolate
We go every christmas, little disappointed at the fact they don't carry the "Big" sized Reeses and the lady from Hershey said to try Walmart...
Love Hershey Park. We only visited the store today but I have brought my kids here since the 80's. I've brought my granddaughter a few years ago. Just passing through and had to get some chocolate. There is a difference from what you get at your local store. Mmmmmm.
Sweet! Saw the movie and made my own chocolate bar. It was enjoyable escape for my family.
Great place to visit. Tourist oriented. If you can't find a chocolate item that you like...you better give up.
All the chocolate you could hope to find. Great history and candy making also. Free admission.
Love Hershey and Chocolate World! This time was just a quick trip to Chocolate World though. I've seen many changes over the years and while the store has a large selection, it mostly repeats the same 4 candies throughout the large shopping area.None of the less popular candies exist there, which is a shame I think. I found it difficult to just find a large bar of dark chocolate for my mom. After combing the store, I finally found regular sized bars that I could have just purchased at Target. All in all it is an experience and there is a lot to do if you don't want to spend the money on the park, but still want to be entertained. Definitely get your photos! There are some really cool options that they have, including getting one on a Hershey Bar wrapper!
Took a group of 20 school Agers and it was a great experience for them
Nothing beats Hershey Chocolate and just visiting again brings back the kid in you. Cant wait to bring my kids next time they will have an absolute blast. Oh yea and all the chocolate you can eat plus a food court as well. Entry is free but there is cost to do additional fun activities
Always enjoy every visit to chocolate world. Rude the free tour whenever it's not too busy. Also really enjoy getting the pictured frozen hot cocoa. Also for the shopping and pricing, it's average and fair for an area attraction.
Neat stop when traveling through. Mostly retail space for all things Hershey and a food court with some good stuff, especially the sweet treats. The ride is fun but the line gets very long!
You make your own chocolate and they give u a cute little tour. Lots of merchandise
Amazing family experience. Lots of fun and an amazing environment!
What's not to love about the capital of all chocolates and the ride is very informative and really fun
Love Chocolate World Its never a disappointment! Great staff and the ride is fantastic
Pricing is expensive to do all activities but they are really gun I recommend the 4d show
First time there had a wonderful time & experience, there. Haven't been? Try soon as you can.
Nice for the price. Did just the tour and the 4D movie and it was worth it. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Chocolate for days. Good family entertainment and a wonderful learning experience.
It's a free ride with candy at the end! What's not to love about that?
Great place to bring the family. Interactive. Fun. Clean and new.
This is a fun little addition to any trip to Hershey. The ride through the factory is cute and informative. It s somewhat reminiscent of some of the movie-themed rides at Disney with a different candy character and their story around each turn. The Disney-esque 3D movie is also cute...but watch the back of your calves! Creating your own candy bar is also a fun and unique experience all kids (small and grown!) can really enjoy. There is also a trolley tour on which you can learn the history of Milton Hershey and his town. We didn t take the trolley, since I have some familiarity with the history already, but I know it is an interesting story and worth learning about.
Harmony, Olympia and Gabby say come on in and get the freshest chocolate youll ever find. Stay awhile and take the factory tour and we'll give you a free sample to get you started. Enjoy our shakes, cookies and the cupcakes are 5 cows rated. Want to make your own chocolate bar, you can. See our 4d show too. Want to be schooled by some cows? Take our chocolate tasting class and learn all about the differences in chocolate tastes. Enjoy.
The Girls (Harmony, Olympia and Gabby)
Excellent selection of goods, but the tour line begins inside the shipping area, leading to crowds. The checkout line moves pretty quickly, so don't let it discourage you.
This place is a mad house. Extremely crowded! We only did the free tour since the line to buy tickets to other activities was massive. We could barely walk around and look at the merchandise. I'm sure the activities are fun, but it was just too busy.
It was amazing it was so fun to meet new people on the trip the rides was really fun the food was delicious I would like to go there again the tour was wonderful I love the school
Had a fantastic day. The grands loved it. Lots of rides for the little ones.
Everything chocolate! It's nice that the tour is free but probably because you can't help but think about buy your pictures afterwards for a cute little chocolate book! The free mini Hershey bar at the end has been a staple since I was a kid. The milkshakes and mochas are delicious.
