Beautiful setting. Even more beautiful with holiday decorations. Cannot wait to go back!
Beautiful setting. Even more beautiful with holiday decorations. Cannot wait to go back!
There pool was awesome. There food was awesome. They people were very nice. And there was free chocolate everywhere.
Very clean and organized, well maintained. Nice place.
Comfortable beds, friendly staff. Only downside is that the soap makes you smell like chocolate, which gets old real quick.
Cocoa Cafe at Hershey Lodge is better than Starbucks (less crowded and better coffee). They have a warm and lodge-like (Aspen--ish) atmosphere. I use it a lot when I need to get away and study. Also they give discounts to season pass holders.
The room was nice but wasn't ready until nearly 5 pm, after being told at 2:30 that it was being cleaned and would be ready very soon. The water park was great and we had a great time there. The food was excellent, although our waiter was unavailable to us for much of our dinner, and the chefs stepped in and brought us drinks, food and condiments. Overall it was fine, but expensive for the experience.
We attended a trade show in the show hall here, followed by a catered dinner by the cooks of the Lodge. I highly recommend it! The kitchen even made special plates of food for my mother and me because of our food allergies! Splendid job!
This place is huge!!! Tons of restaurants and always something happening in the lobby.
Love Chocolate beer and on chocolate beer <3 fun martinis too have a matching set of martini glasses good thing i wasn't driving
Nice hotel. My room was older but fairly updated and was very clean. A little tricky to navigate inside
Hershey Holiday party was excellent service was great food was superb. Thank you
Great food, good conference room quality, Aztec room was a little cold, needed more seats in each room for people they had to sit on floor
Rooms were comfy and kept clean..food was delicious..wish had more time to explore..was there for a tradeshow..
Nice place to stay, but way overpriced. I went to a convention there and the accommodations for the convention was great and the food was great.
We will be having our wedding in 6 months at the Hershey Lodge. The staff there are all friendly professional and courteous. The lodge is beautiful, clean and cozy and we couldn't be happier with the choice!
Very good accommodations and friendly staff. We made this a last minute mini vacation and they were able to fit us in. It has been 8 yrs since we were last here and they have made many improvements. The arcade, gym and pool/water works area are 10 time better. If you book a weekend at Hearshey lodge, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant's are also good and family friendly. I highly recommend staying here and getting the advantage of the free breakfast, free tickets to Hershey Gardens and the Hershey Story Museum.
I have stayed here several other times, but this was the first time with Water Works, the indoor water park at the resort. The kids loved it! And having the Cocoa Cabana right there meant we could eat dinner there and not have to leave until it closed. Such a great addition. We love Hershey Lodge!
As expensive as the lodge is we feel the price is warranted with an outstanding staff, choice of quality restaurants and activities for the kids. The shuttle to the park is great ( pre new park construction) with the acceptation of one instance when we had to Uber back from park due to mismanagement of buses . Unfortunately no one care at concierge that we were left in a lightning storm or offered to reimburse us for our troubles. Other than that it would have been a five.
Beautiful place! Great accommodations and great for the family.
Very nice hotel. Good restaurants and hospitality. Parking can be an issue when they are busy.
We had a great stay. Everyone at the Lodge was so helpful. We never touched our vehicle the 3 days we were there. The restaurants onsite were very good. The roasted culiflower hummus at Hershey Grill was sooo good. And the breakfast at Fire and Grain was amazing and allowed us to catch the shuttle at 8:20 to get to the park. We had great shuttle drivers, one who actually gave us a history lesson on the hershy kiss, so great. A great perk was being able to get into Hershey park at 9:00am before it is open to the general public. We rode so many rides before 10:00. We visited the indoor water park at The Lodge and it was a perfect end to our day. The lifegaurds were amazing and attentive and one night one of the lifegaurds actually had to go in to rescue a little boy. We were so impressed, and thankful that they obviously have been trained well. Towels are provided at Water Works and the outdoor pool, which is great. We did enjoy the outdoor pool and the free mini golf. We found houskeepiong to be very polite and helpful. It is always hard to travel with a family of 5, but they made this affordable for us especially with the tickets to the park and breakfast included for the kids. And the shuttle back to the Lodge was such a bonus after a long hot day. I know one patron was saying they will be rennovating some rooms, I may suggest a small microwave. We did order room service one night and it would have been nice to heat up left overs! And the Lodge is huge so if you don't like to walk, I would recommend you ask for a room closer to the restuarants or front of the Lodge. But overall a great experience!
Went to an event at the lodge and had a great time. Good drinks good food and a nice atmosphere.
The appetizers, drinks, and event space were excellent. We enjoyed a nice company event in the chocolate ballroom.
Fun for kids. Good atmosphere. Multiple restaurants to choose from. Friendly staff.
Nice restaurant and ok for adults.... beds however not comfortable and rooms are just avg... we went for kid sports;; definitely not a place to have kids for a hockey tourney.... security not kid friendly or adult... far too tight as compared to a Marriott... thought the place would be more fun
We went for the Wild Game and Mushroom dinner at the Hershey Lodge. The food was great at the Forebay and the hotel was decorated for the holidays and looked gorgeous.
I get to go there every year and enjoy it every time.
Pretty fun and whacky place! Felt like somewhere in Disney with how busy it was all the time. Customer service was great!
Breakfast was decent and the Bear s Den is a good place to hang out or the lobby bar but they close early. Rooms are average but it s all about the location. Quick drive to everything and they offer shuttles.
Awesome small "waterpark" and hot tub area! Room was small but clean & comfortable. No microwave but who cares! Get the package with access to the Hershey Garden and the Hershey Museum. Great value!
Pros: Fairly close proximity to Hershey Park, the reason for our stay. Cons: The room has a sickly, musty odor. The room is very expensive, at over $400/night for a small, two queen bed room. The room is small. The bathroom is tiny. There's very little soundproofing between the rooms and been the room and hallway. The buildings are poorly laid out and awkwardly connected. There's only two restaurants on site and they're both small and overpriced.
What a beautiful place! Very warming and friendly hosts.
Prompt service, great atmosphere. The room was a little dirty, but overall everything was great. The shuttle always arrived promptly.
Great family friendly hotel. The reception process was very pleasant, as well as the stay. Lodging covered park tickets and several other attractions. Overall the cost is fair for all the amenities you receive.
Great accommodations! Seriously! So much fun for kids and parents! Chocolate Martini's to boot! Shuttle service excellent! Thank you! Will definitely return. Thinking about trying the hotel next time??
A super fun place to stay with the family when heading to Hershey Park. The hotel is huge, well equipped and has lots of great amenities to entertain the kids when you are not at the theme park. The hotel's indoor water park is lots of fun for all ages. There is a convenient shuttle bus to the theme park (and back) for guests of the hotel!
It's just woo fun I love it and it's a great place for kids they have a lot of activities
The resort was clean. Staff was incredibly friendly. It was a great experience all-around.
Phone reservation was confirmed to be a few doors down from family. At check-in rooms were 1464 and 1470. Unfortunately they were in completely different sections. Given wrong directions to the room. We were told parking would be available in front of the room which was also incorrect. Made dinner reservations on phone but never told Hershey Grill was not accessible from Hotel. Made reservation for 8:30 breakfast last morning for Fire & Grain restaurant only to find no buffet & slow service- sat with three young children for almost 2 hours when they could have been at Water Park. What was supposed to be a family weekend to celebrate our grandsons birthday was just a big disappointment.
Warm and inviting when walking in. Staff friendly and helpful Ate at the Bears den. Not to busy (mid afternoon) food and service were professional and fast. Food good and tasty overall great experience
Seems like a nice place....as long as you don't mind waiting for your room.
Arrived a bit early (2PM) and was told that we would be texted when our room was ready and to feel free to acclimate ourselves to the Lodge.
When it was 4:15, we asked when our room would be ready and was told that check-in is between 4-6.
Sure enough our room was ready within that period of time...At 5:53!!!
No updates were given except when we asked and, with it being winter, there really wasn't much for us to do but sit around and wait for our room...for hours!!!
Horrible service.
We visited this during the virus. Thongs were different however I believe when things are normal this is one of the best resorts in the area. If not the best! Great for kids! Great location! Tons of amenities! Just DO IT
We decided to stay at the lodge over the holiday weekend and have to say that it was great!!! From check in to check out, couldn't ask for more of a relaxing weekend. Special thanks to the Manager of the Hershey Lodge who was very accommodating and who spoke with my Wife prior to our trip. Traveling with my Wife and two kids ages 13 and 15, there was something to do for everyone. The lodge had scheduled activities like family bingo, a scavenger hunt for the younger kids, bracelet making, etc... My kids personally enjoyed family bingo, the arcade, pool and water slides. The pool is open to 10PM. The room was very clean and the Lodge is a great place for families of all ages. We played games in the lobby, sat by the fireplace on those comfy chairs and ate plenty of Hershey candy. There are plenty of dining options on and off property. Location is very convenient and minutes away from Chocolate World, Hershey Park and the Hershey Museum. This time around we enjoyed eating at Fire and Grain and Bear's Den restaurant. While we were there it happened to snowed a little, however Hershey was on top of that salting the walk ways, and clearing the property.
The rooms were clean, bright and cherry. The staff was friendly and helpful. A little pricey for being in our backyard. Parking is the worst. Be prepared to walk really far and the same with getting to your room. It is very spread out and the layout is very odd. Over-all a nice place for a stay-cation.
Poor service from security. We were there on business and unable to enjoy any facilities. We were made to park far away from our room. No discount or courtesy ride to room
Hershey Lodge always provides a great experience. Free shuttle to Hershey Park was prompt and dropped off near the park entrance. Good restaurant options and good location for everything else to do at Hershey
Service was great as is with all Hershey properties and venues. Pool was crowded and long snack bar lines. Food at Fire and Grain was really good.
Great accommodations and most staff were friendly & helpful especially the seniors who work here.
I had a great time with the convention! The hotel is a bit confusing but everything else was great!!
The hotel itself looked nice. The staff is OK, not great like we expected for the price and hype. We asked for more towels in our room and no one ever brought them. The walls are also very thin. We could clearly hear adults talking as they walked by our room. The included parts (Water Works, Hershey Gardens, free shuttle to the park) were the best part.
Nice place to stay if your here for the park. Lots of things to do including mini golf, tennis, basketball, an arcade and a small indoor water park. Plus free transportation to Hersheypark!!
Four full service restaurants and two quick service locations. Food is good and prices are as expected. Approx $10/pp for quick service and $18/pp for full service.
Our room was basic with 2 queen beds, small desk, mini fridge, and smart TV. Ample outlets for all your electronic needs!! Some rooms have indoor hallways and some are motel entrances. You can hear EVERYTHING from outside the rooms.
Stopped in the lodge for a Sunday brunch while in town for a baseball tournament and was very happy with the food. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent which isn't easy for a buffet. If you're in town looking for good food that isn't too terribly expensive make your way to the Lodge.
Awesome place to stay and be immersed in Hershey's chocolate theme from bedding, hallway names, and it's a nice place for kids to meet the different Hershey candy characters. The customer service is great and very sweet.
What an amazing place.. food was excellent and the decorations were top-notch...
Very nice it has two from a bed room and living room it was awsome
Went overnight for a conference. Room was comfortable and food was delicious.
The best way to describe this hotel is exquisite. I have attended multiple conferences here and each has been nearly perfect. There is chocolate in EVERYTHING! The food and snacks are all top notch and the service is impeccable. Rooms are comfortable and the common areas are beautiful. I highly recommend this lodge. I would love to visit with children to check out the many activities offered.
Nice hotel and water area was fun for my 6 year old. We enjoyed the comfy beds and fluffy towels:) They spare no expense when it comes to amenities, and the staff was very friendly. Check in was easy and fast. The cons: No microwave in the room, and only one at the entire resort for guest use. This was odd, and a huge inconvenience. Also, when I made the reservation I was not told that there would be an additional 100 dollars per night for incidentals charged to my card upon arrival. Its refundable...but for many people this would be a no go...not everyone has that kind of money to throw around, even temporarily. Buffet breakfast and gift shop were decent, but way overpriced for what you got, even for resort prices. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and found the resort very nice.
A good place to stay. Lots of dining options within the hotel. pricing was affordable.
I always love visiting the lodge! The staff is very friendly. They work hard, and it shows. The pool is my favorite place and it is great for kids. They have amazing ice cream in the pool area. Very unique flavors
Loved staying the and visiting the Bears Den. Great place to stay when going to a concert at Hershey Park!
Lovely place to stay. Lobby offers tons of space to lounge, rest and relax with big over sized couches. And tables and chairs for all your needs. Beautiful fire place mid center, full bar, coffee shop, restaurants and gift shop all with in view. The lobby was a place we wanted to stop and hang out.
Overall solid. Clean rooms, fun but smallish indoor waterpark. Shuttle bus was a real bonus. Disappointed in breakfast at coffee place.
Lots of parking just a short ways from the entrance. Multiple restaurants to choose from which are on the pricier side but have a good variety of options. I would not recommend fire and grains brunch as it is extremely overpriced. The decor is fantastic especially at Christmas time. Very convenient location within Hershey.
Love the Lodge. Came here for our anniversary. At check in they gave us a candy basket and left an anniversary card in our room. Rooms were clean and convenient. Service was outstanding. Love the Hershey's Chocolate Martini's. We will be back.
Husband and I took our daughter here for a weekend getaway and it was great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Indoor pool with a little water park feel. Big slide for bigger kids and splash pads for the littles. There's also an outdoor pool too. The grounds are huge and spacious. There is a shuttle that takes you to and from Hershey Park so you don't have to worry about the added expense of parking. There are also restaurants and a coffee shop on site at the lodge. Super convenient if you don't want to leave to go to eat. Staff is also super friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. We will definitely be back!
Awesome hotel that has a great family and child atmosphere. We took our daughter and she went bonkers over the waterpark. Also has great food with a huge variety of foods and 5 different restaurants
It was a great place. I stayed for 1 night and 2 days. My only complaint is that around 11, I was in my room and the people next to me was very loud so I couldn't sleep. But that isn't Hershey's fault. The pool is a good size and the gym is also quite nice but the lobby is beautiful. The food was great. Would come again.
Nice hotel. Not the cheapest, but nice. Good hotel for meetings.
The lodge itself is a great place to say with lots of different activities for the whole family. The only complaint that I would have is that they were still busy but it seemed like the staffing was majorly off for all the restaurants and for the amenities.
My family and I go every year for new Years and have the best time. The adults can go do things like beer and wine tasting while the kids go to the pool, hang out in the room, and do other things that are at the lodge. The pool is great because the children can go on the water slide and play in the pool while the adults can watch them from the hot tub. This hotel has the best service and I can't wait until we go back again.
Was there for a dog grooming expo this past weekend. Convention center is huge and beautiful.
No place to park.. you have to walk 1/8 of mile away from lodge. No table & Chairs to sit at in room. Appliance that DO NOT work in the room & very expensive. For the money I spent thinking this was a "Great Place Lodge" I wasted my money over there.
This is a great hotel and the water work was so fun
Contemporary design great service and the rooms are kept very well I only stayed one night so my opinion may be short sighted or may be marred that's you to decide
Great for families with young children. Well organized, clean, comfortable and fun! Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Very pretty. Went for evening dinner/conference. Didn't stay overnight.
Very clean. The most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Great service and food at Bears Den.
Hershey Lodge is lovely but the price around 4th of July is rather steep. The pool is fantastic though. It's great for families with younger children.
Very beautiful lobby! 4 sided fireplace! We did not stay here but ate in the restaurant only and walked around the lobby
I want to love this place but I can't..
For starters there customer service when booking was not great, their site was not working so they gave me a credit which was nice but also their fault.
Check in was smooth, I get in the room and clearly it was not cleaned properly which is not cool given covid. They gave me a credit but still I slept in a room with my kids in a room they did not clean properly.
Lastly I ordered room service and they forgot important items like salad dressing for the salad, dipping sauce for the chicken fingers i called and they called back as if i was lying.
*****So enter at your own risk****
The sweetest place on Earth! Chocolate, chocolate everywhere. Rooms are nice, cool indoor water park for kids. Shuttle will take you to the park and don't forget to go to the chocolate factory!
The perfect place when I am traveling for business or spending time at Hershey Park. The central fire place is a great place to relax after a day at the park or busy meeting schedule. If this is your first trip to Hershey Lodge, the map that comes with your room keys will come in very handy as this place is huge. It's just a few minutes to the PA Turnpike and I 83. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Last thing, the staff, the entire staff, absolutely the best.
Overpriced motel. It's not close to anything so save yourself some money and stay at a different hotel. $600 a night is not worth it. There are plenty of other excellent hotels near all the Hershy attractions.
