CON...The glass on the print artwork had a crack from one side to another. The bed was too hard for me to get a good night's sleep. The decor was dated.

PRO....The restaurants we're great. The staff and food we're great. The indoor pool w/ sides were great as well.

Over all I would go back. The kids had a blast.

We had a nice stay. Kids had fun. Rooms were clean but needs updates. Would have loved having a microwave. Guest services forgot to send something for my son's birthday. Had to ask twice for it. Other than that I would stay again.

My fiance and I got engaged here. This is a magical place! The staff, service and restaurants are wonderful and it's conveniently located down the street from Hershey Park. The lodge is a great place for romance, family and fun!

Family stayed for 2 nights. The early admission to the park with the shuttle van back and forth and the included water park is a huge bonus. Mini golf, movie nights, s mores by the fire pit. With at least 3 or 4 places to eat dinner, this is more like a resort than just a hotel! We will be staying here again and again.

Great place. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is courteous and helpful. I wish it weren't quite so maze-like and the WiFi could be better, but overall great.

I called here to book a reservation and I'm so happy! A lady named Kathy was so informative and pleasant and help guided me towards my family's stay here since there are 3 different resorts and I had no clue which one to pick since it's our first time coming here. She explained the difference in packages and the hotels and was so polite and patient! Like the customer service here is amazing can't wait to enjoy my stay.

It was a hard time parking and getting seated took some extra time for various reasons. The food came out lightning fast, and was priced well and tasted great. The drinks (both alcoholic and not) felt overpriced and undersized, especially the martinis, of which the flavor and/or assembly left something to be desired. Bottom line: Recommended, and I personally will go again, but without getting any drinks aside from water, or perhaps one slightly watered-down soda.

The two key features for Hershey Lodge are the water park and the shuttle, if you have kids and plan to do a couple of days that might make it worth it. The rooms are about the level you would expect from a comfort inn, hotel 6, or days inn, ok but not great. They advertise their connection to Hershey Park but nothing your really want to visit as a family is included. The "free" tickets are not what kids are interested in: shopping and something historic we didn't go to. Travelers tip go online and reserve Hershey Experience or "adventure packages" tickets ahead of time also sign up for the e-club and let them know your birthday is the same month you are visiting to get a buy one get one free meal deal in the resort. However the water park and shuttle are great! Truth be told our kids didn't care about the so-so room but did love the water park and the shuttle is a big time savor. The food is better than you would expect, especially the chicken which is all locally farm raised. Even the kids meal chicken fingers are excellent. Thank goodness they serve beer and wine in the water park including a local brew I could not remember or pronounce but it was pretty good, just ask for the local IPA.

This resort is close and convenient to Hersheypark. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious, and include a coffee maker and a fridge. It's pretty spread out but easy to get from one area to the next. We had a few issues come up during our stay which were handled quickly and very satisfactorily.

Great location, decor is very nice with a cabin feeling to it. Updated restaurants for all kinds of tastes! Staff is friendly and always willing to help, rooms are updated and beds are very comfortable +1 for having updated smart TVs that let you cast right to your rooms television. Only reason of the one star removal was the popcorn in the bed, I imagine just an oversight as the sheets were all nicely done. On sight water park for the kiddies too!!

Great place to stay with kids. Extremely busy and we had a couple minor issues but were resolved immediately by the staff. Nice to get the perks of staying at a Hershey hotel, early park entrance, late night preview.

I was expecting more for the money we paid. We booked two rooms one with double beds, one king size. Both rooms were very basic and outdated. Nothing special at all. In one room the toilet kept getting clogged. We called maintainence the first time and it wasn't fix correctly. The second night we called again and I decided to complained which I usually don't do but i felt the need of saying something since we spend so much money. The solution I was giving by the front desk was come the next morning and change rooms. I didnt want to do that since we were already settled in that room.

We come here every year right around the holidays. Our kids love it and we love the ambiance and hospitality. Prices are moderate but affordable ($200+/night) for a premium experience and the indoor pool is always a hit for the kids. Rooms are always clean and spotless, employees are friendly and always busy, and the various restaurants really do have different themes. Many of the foods may be similar, but the quality of the food is always spot on. A bit on the expensive side, but it's in the same complex so no need to drive out to eat if there is inclement weather.

My only complaint would be that parking is often times a pain (it's the holidays, so it's at the highest I would assume), but the walk is always good for us. Use the valets/bellmen at the front as the walk to the rooms can be extremely long from the front check in area.

truly such a beautiful resort, close to everything, great lodging prices, lots of value. gift shop prices are out of this world but aren't they always? Great room, great bed, great service

Their service is fantastic. I was sick while there and they, at the end of the night, had one of their employees bring my husband to the pharmacy. In the morning they were all asking how I felt. Very caring and helpful.

Come here every year for the past 5 years for an Education conference. Very disappointed. Typically stay in or near towers. This year I was placed almost the furthest point from the conversation hall. Rooms were now very clean...dusty! Plus paper thin walls. Could hear every word like he was in my room. Also, I'm short, but felt tall in bathroom. Had to duck to use shower head! Plus, no chocolate shampoo ever put in my room!

Very nice and attractive hotel. Concierge was helpful in getting rides to the auto museum. The Lodge had several restaurants featuring different types of foods and pricing. Nice small shopping store. Room was large, clean and comfortable at a decent rate. We were there for a Quilting show where my wife was entered and won a Ribbon for her entered quilt. Received free tickets for the Hersey Gardens which was fantastic. We didn't visit the amusement park. Lodging Rates are on the high side, But being part of the quilters show saved us some money for our two days stay. Only issue was finding our room. The way the hotel is layed out. We required a person from house keeping to locate our room after exceeding 7000 steps. We were completely lost. A GPS would be helpful attack to the room card and the room locking system. Parking was also full, but finding the perfect parking space made it easy to leave the car parked while walking and using the hotel shuttle.

It's an awesome place, who doesn't love chocolate?? The Lodge is really a great place, lots of amenities. Mini golf, tennis courts, gift shop, large spacious property. Awesome dining and food choices, a few to choose from of different levels catering to many different tastes. The Lodge lobby area has lots of seating, and space to sit and relax around the fireplace. Convenient coffee shop, convenient lobby bar location, right near elevators. Try one of the many martini recipes or chocolate inspired drinks. There is a magic here that makes you feel like a kid again. I recommend it. Book in advance, take your time when you get here to enjoy everything there is to offer and be sure not to miss any of it. Enjoy!! The sweetest place in America

Friendly staff, warm yet professional atmosphere, cute gift shop, coffee shop, and bar. Try the chocolate martini. Was here for an event for BB&T where nearly one thousand associates met together in the Red and white Room and were well taken care of. Restrooms easy to access. Not impressed with the food, just chicken breasts were served for supper, but they were mass feeding a lot of people.

Correction - this WAS 5 stars and will be again once they know how to staff their poolside food service. One person on a Saturday - 45 minute lines. This has to improve. Horrible.

We go here at least twice a year and LOVE it! It's a resort feel, great for kids and their new water park is well done. An absolute must for a family weekend retreat during Christmas. You get free passes to the park and light show, plus great meals at the various restaurants onsite.

It is during Covid but the outside of the resort is in horrible condition. Grass overgrown, weeds in flower beds and the outdoor pool is very small. No room
Service which I was ok with but you had to be very specific of what types of towels you wanted. Walls are very thin and you can hear everyone in the halls and rooms next door. My tickets to park were messed up and took extra time to get in park while their guest services tried to correct

Nicely appointed comfortable rooms, quiet even though full of children. I was there for a reunion and it was done well. Quick easy check in and out. Pleasant staff. My only complaint was the salmon at the reunion dinner was a bit dry, but every thing else: roast beef vegetables deserts wine coffee were excellent.

When we visit the Hershey Lodge, it is almost always to eat at The Bears Den. Great food and service. Family friendly. Staff is usually friendly and attentive. It is similar to a sports bar in that it has TVs on with different sports playing, music on the speakers and can certainly be noisy. The food is phenomenal and the options for kids is good.

This place was always great . at one point in the lodge we would get lill ' surprises like gift baskets in our room. Hot choclate at the big fire place in the cafe. Resturants served amazing food . the also have a kids check in and a guess the candy in the jar . guess tbe closest and get the giant jar. The cows are something out of sesame place and very well done. See the choclate in real time and watch the process as singing cows guide you along a d get a free sample of choclate at the end of the ride . I loved the bakery and if you have a chance the choclate lab is worth every penny . remeber with your stay at the hotel you get perks so ask about pkgs . worth it if you add ot all. Do the world choclate tour . The hershey story of a man un dieing love for his wife doing anything to make her happy and traveling the world trying everything to save her life ,is so adoring and beautiful .This town was built by him and her the street pools are hershy kisses and the streets are really made of choclate. The school was the orphanage he gave her after she failed to have childern and wanted them so bad , and so her husband gabe them to her ... Now its the school where all children get the best education from pre k-12 and college funded by hershey family .Milton hershey is an inspireing story played on one channel in the hotel , love , morals , family , and community was what he built the town for and what he believed.

Front desk / Bell / Room Service were all amazing. I didn't like that our room wasn't ready until 415 and was dirty. We will go back because of previous experiences and the Christmas decorations were beautiful.

They provided our company's food and we rented out the conference room. They always have a very nice staff and delicious food to go along with it. Also, the setup and general appearance of the rooms were very nice!

Arrived early but room wasn't ready until 3:00. Never had to wait so long for a room anywhere. Room is very nice. Kids loved the pool area. Enjoyed the mini golf and basketball also. Great food. Can't get the wifi to work at all.

So big it was hard to know which entrance to go in, but once in the space was really big, it looked classic and elegant, but not dated. We enjoyed our event and the food was buffet style but absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked and seasoned well, it was nice and hot. The dessert was to die for! The staff were very friendly, professional and did a great job. Highly reccomend hosting and attending events here.

Pleasant, immaculate rooms, lovely bathrooms, but very small and due to limited parking. you may be forced to valet park (for a fee). The fee was not disclosed when we had to use it. If valet parking is not elective, you shouldn't charge for it.

My kids and I had a blast! The rooms were lovely, the water works was a ton of fun, and room service was delicious! The fireplace was magnificent, and we had a lot of fun walk around the lodge, which is massive! It was a fantastic quick Christmas getaway, and the staff were very pleasant and professional. We would definitely go back!

Hershey lodge was ok. They didn't share with us about the children check in and the wonderful experience it offered for them. We over heard on our last day. Also with the less capacity for indoor dining you were not allowed to make call in reservations or make them the night before. You had to make them the day of in person. The wait time was 1hr or more . Imagine dealing with hungry kids. Dining process needs some work.

A beautiful place that we celebrated our 11 year wedding anniversary. I love the staff, breakfast in bed and how welcoming we felt. This is a great place to bring your family, and don't forget your swimming trunks. There is an indoor pool with a huge indoor slide.

We loved our stay here. It is a short drive to the park and you can arrive an hour early because you are staying at a Hershey property. The hotel had plenty to do for the kids: pool/splash pad, arcade, mini golf, and just plain exploring the expansive property. The only down side was a mediocre experience at the Fire & Grain restaurant; the food was only OK and pricy. But we'd simply try one of the other restaurants next time. We'll definitely be back.
