unique presentation in combinations of eras and design. Everything with a smile and pleasure factor 10. Especially the smiling Tsarina next to the winking Pharaoh is a fantastic trick! Very good explanation and clarification of what is shown. Someone said: what a mess. But that is an exaggeration ...

"The Treasury: Masterpieces from the Hermitage" is an exhibition on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Hermitage aan de Amstel. Beautiful pieces that show the wealth of the Hermitage in bird's eye view.

Both exhibitions were very interesting... The Romanov story and the Berger's of Amsterdam... Great sandwich and cappucino in the cafe... The bread is dairy free so my lactose intolerant friend was very happy

What a lovely museum! The museum isn't too big, which makes it easy to go through in half a day. The exhibits provide wonderful insight into Amsterdam during the Dutch Golden Age, with relevant examples of life back then. Audioguides are free and a music tour is also available. The museum has a great restaurant with good food at a reasonable price.

Nice museum in beautiful building. Good audio tours that provide a lot of (background) information. Jewellery! Visited Glitter at the Russian Court. Really recommended. What a splendor. Outsider art museum also always has special exhibitions such as Willem v Genk now I am happy that it is not that busy in my head ;-). Furthermore, the Hermitage talent exhibition of students is fun to see. What a talent among them!

The Classic Beauties exhibit had several master sculpture pieces that were absolutely terrific. The audio guide took time to figure out, but was helpful. Not many visitors, so I had all the time and space I wanted.

Buying tickets in this museum (small, temporary exhibits, no standing collection) was odd, quite expensive, and discouraged me from enjoying everything they had to offer. I think there was an "all 3 exhibits" option for 25, maybe I should have tried that?

Large museum on the Amstel with changing exhibitions. We have viewed the 1917 Romanovs and Revolution exhibition and the Hollanders of the Golden Age exhibition. Good explanation on signs and via audio guide. Fortunately it was not busy. Tip: buy tickets in advance.

Nice exhibition, but it was busy! The exhibited was too close to each other. That and the large number of people made for a claustrophobic experience. And that while there is much more space available in the complex!

Beautiful building and beautiful exhibitions. In the summer a lovely terrace in the courtyard. Particularly the museum for children and the workshop where the children can work. Many workshops
