Together with the Rijksmuseum and Mauritshuis, the museum makes the top three in the Netherlands when it comes to seeing our Dutch masters. Especially now with the temporary exhibition Dutch Masters Return Have a special location until 26 May

Poorly trained staff. It starts with the wardrobe. If you are not a baby boomer with a big mouth, they will let you stand as if you are invisible. Everyone was pushing ahead, and instead of being fought against, they let someone go ahead. No Hermitage for me for now

Loved every minute of it.

Must see, expecially if you have the ''I amsterdam'' card!

A nice collection of Dutch masters was on exhibition when I visited this museum. It has a good location and easy access from the city center. Good to know all the heritage and inter-connections amongst Dutch painters during the Dutch Golden Era.

An amazing museum, awesome collection and always changing. The have different areas you can visit and every six months a new collection, which they get from their St. Petersburg location. The restaurant in the museum is nice with mostly live piano music. Great place to visit

What a nice museum this is! Also good to visit in corona time. At the door you will be greeted by a friendly hostess and all exhibitions can easily be visited via the route. Sometimes you have to wait for each other, but that gives you enough time to view the beautiful collections. The paintings of the guard portraits were sometimes so hung that they could not be seen completely through the lighting, and this was with the paintings of the Jewels! exhibition is also the case, which is a shame, because there are very beautiful portraits.
It is wonderful to relax in the garden, unfortunately only up to half an hour after closing time.

Wow!

absolutely one of the best museums in the Netherlands. We saw lots of Rembrandts, as these are in the NL for a few weeks. but even without these paintings, the museum is still a huge treat.

An interesting place but overpriced. When we were there the self guiding information headphones in English were not working at all. Staff did not really care, no help there. Whole place is traveling exhibits and some permanent ones such as the local paintings. We liked it but in truth there was not much content to be had.

Museums generally bore me after a while. Here the museum has two exhibitions: one periodical and one stable. In the first music you heard in the audio guide he was pleasantly accompanied the vision. In the second, in addition to the beautiful explanation from the headphones, a game of synchronized spotlights illustrated the various characters and representations. All museums should be like this !!

Beautiful museum, located in an impressive 17th century building, a former old men's / old women's house. At the moment there is a beautiful exhibition of costumes and jewelery from the Russian tsar family, the Romanovs. In the Amsterdam part, among other things, an impressive collection of Group Portraits from the Golden Age

Confusing. A maze. Guides in English only. No Italian. Difficult explanations. It is a demanding museum. The girl at the entrance asked that since there were only two hours until closing if I thought of returning another day .., 40minuyi and I was already sufficiently fed up.

I like the fact that you get to see things from the actual Hermitage. Don't like the pricing strategy: too expensive, and you have to purchase different tickets or a combination ticket if there are several exhibitions. It's very small if you know what the real Hermitage is like.

The structure is modern, beautiful and spread over several levels.
There are no architectural barriers!
Very professional and courteous staff.
A free Wi-Fi connection is missing.
Cleaning of toilets is carried out several times a day.
The bar and restaurant is an added value to the museum, order and cleanliness are perceived.
The exhibition of the Romanov family is beautiful.
Worth a visit!

Beautiful museum in beautiful building.

Beautiful museum in beautiful building.
The signage is a bit vague for such a large building. It was also not clear on arrival that there is the possibility for an audio tour.

We found the jewelry exhibition impressive.
